"Maybe I shouldn't have thrown you as hard as I did. Have you forgotten about the barrier?"
"Yeah, but I also remember a magical little ring that disrupts barriers." Holly said with a smirk. Alex raised his eyes in question. Suddenly Holly produced a small silver ring from her pocket.
Alex's eyes widened with shock as he looked at her with amazement. "H-how...when?"
"When me and Shadow lunged at him. The attack was just a distraction for what we really wanted. We planned the whole thing."
Alex's eyes lost their excitement when he remembered. "Still, even with the barrier gone we still won't be able to get out because of the damn cell bars. That's a completely different spell."
"A spell that's useless if you have the key to the cell." Shadow said holding up an old iron key. "Holly's not the only one who nabbed something from Rylus."
Alex's face went from many expressions. Shock, amazement, joy, and finally pride. He took the ring and the key and shook his head in wonder. All three of the wolves were beaming proudly at him. "You guy's had that all planned?"
"Aye, we knew it would be the only way we could get out unnoticed." Kiba answered.
Alex shook his head and put the ring on his right hand. "I knew there was a reason I never killed you guys."
Alex then unlocked the cell door and waved his right hand dispersing the barrier. Kiba and the others exchanged glances wondering wether his last comment was a compliment or not. Alex turned to them and spoke.
"Are you coming? I believe I have a certain Lord of the north whose in for one hell of an ass kicking right now. Would any of you like to join me?"

Brittany squirmed beneath Zanatos. His hot breath made her skin tingle with disgust. No matter how many times she tried to pull herself away from him he kept forcing himself inside of her. Brittany struggled, but every time she did Zanatos slapped her and reminded her why she was here.
"Don't forget that with a single word your lover boy's head would find a permanent spot on my mantle. Do not disappoint me girl. It would be very unwise for you to make me angry."
Brittany nodded slowly as tears fell from her eyes. Zanatos's hands and tongue explored her body. The pace he was setting was too hard for her and soon he began to hurt her causing more tears to fall from her eyes. She silently pleaded that something would happen, that somehow despite all odds Alex would once again come to save her.
Alex, please forgive me for this. I don't love him, I only love you. You're the only person I can give my heart to. You were supposed to be the only person I could give my body to, please forgive me. It is because I love you that I had to do this. I couldn't let him kill you. Please, forgive me for betraying you.

As Alex ran through the corridors of the castle he slashed and clawed at any demons that got in his way. His blood was pumping as his demonic energy continued to increase. Brittany, that monster had better as hell hoped he hasn't hurt you. Death will be a pleasant fairy tale compared to what I'll do to him. He thought the torture he put me through was bad. Being sentenced to hell would be far kinder than what I have planned for him. Just hold on a little longer Brittany. I promise, I'm coming for you.
Alex continued running with Kiba, Holly, and Shadow right behind him. Alex ran through the maze like corridors with ease due to him being able to sense Brittany's presence within the castle. When Alex reached the final hallway leading to Zanatos's room he found himself face to face with thirty demons. One of the demon's glared at them maliciously as he brandished a familiar looking sword at them.
"Kill them." Rylus ordered. The demons suddenly lunged at Alex and the others.
"Hope you don't mind, but I'm going to leave these guys to you." Alex said as he ran towards the oncoming horde of demons.
"Heh, that's fine with me. Just leave Rylus to me." Kiba said with a smirk. Alex nodded and right before the demons reached him he launched himself at the far wall. The moment his foot hit the brick wall he ricocheted himself off of the wall sending him towards the adjacent one. Alex the jumped over the demons and at the same time drew back and nailed Rylus in the jaw when he descended.
"That's for betraying me." Alex said coldly. In a fluid motion he grabbed his sword and stabbed Rylus in the groin with it. Thus, pinning Rylus to the ground with it. "That's for giving Zanatos the opportunity to fuck my mate."
Rylus howled in pain as Alex yanked the sword out. He turned to Kiba who was fighting back to back with Holly and Shadow as they easily started to gain the advantage over the demons and one by one began to kill them.
"He's all yours." Alex said as he nodded to them. He then burst through Zanatos's door.

Brittany could hear the sounds of fighting, but wether Zanatos heard them or just chose to ignore them she couldn't tell. Brittany cursed silently as her body betrayed her. She felt a knot forming in her stomach and when she finally came she felt Zanatos release himself inside of her.
No dammit! God, why did he have to do that! Brittany thought as she closed her eyes in disgust as Zanatos bent forward and began to lick her breast. Brittany suddenly felt a sudden surge throughout her body. She wasn't quite sure what was happening, but she knew whatever it was, it wasn't good. Before Brittany could comprehend what was going on inside of her she felt Zanatos exit her quickly, causing her pain, but at the same time she was relieved. Brittany then felt a familiar presence. Alex!

Kiba launched himself over the demons aiming right for Rylus. Rylus barely managed to roll over in time to dodge Kiba's fist which imbedded into the ground next to his head. Rylus flipped up and quickly slashed at Kiba who was still off balance from his attack. Kiba ducked beneath Rylus's attack and lunged at Rylus's chest. Kiba managed to pin Rylus against the wall but the moment he did Rylus twisted his body and kicked Kiba in the chest sending him reeling backwards. Kiba dodged Rylus's next attack and managed to grab hold of Rylus's throat. Rylus tried to break free of Kiba's grip but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't.
"Don't you wish you hadn't of betrayed the Lord now?" Kiba said his eyes glowing with rage. "All those innocent people that were killed because of you."
Rylus smirked as he returned Kiba's hateful glare. "It's what I've been doing for a while now. How else do you think the Lord of the north knew that your wife was pregnant?"
Kiba's eyes widened with shock as the meaning behind Rylus's words sunk in. "You bastard! You betrayed us! You betrayed all of us! Your own kind!"
Rylus took advantage of Kiba's reaction to slash Kiba across the face thus forcing Kiba to loosen his grip on Rylus. Rylus then kicked Kiba in the chest as he flipped out of his grasp.
"So you're just now really figuring it out aren't you? Weren't you the least bit surprised that I was the only one unharmed out of all us that were attacked. I mean come on! You really can't be that dense can you?"
"I can assure you being dense and being trusting are two very different things. Things that I and the Lord now share in common. " Kiba said trying to control his anger. "I can assure you, trusting is a mistake I will never make again."
"Well let's see about that old timer. I wasn't allowed to kill you back then, but now something tells me the Lord really won't care. "
"I blamed myself for Celeste's death for all these years. In a way it still is my fault, but now more than ever I know whose fault it really is. I'm going to make you pay for your treachery Rylus, that I can assure you."
With that both the wolf demons became locked in battle again. Their claws and fangs aiming for the most vital spots on their opponent. Rylus was much quicker and agile than Kiba, but what Kiba lacked in vitality he made up with experience.
"An old timer like you could never defeat me."
"This old timer has fought in more life and death battles than you could ever imagine. When it comes down to it, only those willing to die for what they believe will win. Only those who know what pain really is can know the price of defeat. You will never understand any of this Rylus. Mainly because you'll die right here and now!"
Rylus and Kiba lunged at each other. Their claws were drawn back ready to strike to final blow. In a flash of movement Rylus struck at Kiba. Rylus's attack was faster than Kiba's, but Kiba was ready for it. Just when Rylus was sure that he had won Kiba slammed his right foot hard into the ground causing him to spin. Rylus's hand grazed Kiba's left shoulder allowing Kiba to grab hold of Rylus's right arm with his left. Kiba then spun around behind Rylus and in one motion rammed his right hand through Rylus's chest ripping Rylus's heart out.
"This is for Celeste." Kiba whispered as he let the fallen form of Rylus crumple to the ground. Kiba turned around to the sound of clapping. Holly and Shadow were sitting on top of a mound of dead demons. The smiled as they stood and walked over to Kiba.
"You put on one hell of a show." Holly said looking down at Rylus. "That bastard had it coming though."
"Aye, that he did."
Before they could say anything else they felt a pulse of demonic energy that made them stop in fear.

Alex stabbed his claws into Zanatos's back and threw Zanatos off of Brittany. Zanatos's back collided with the wall cracking it from the force of his body. Alex didn't pay Zanatos any attention as he hurried to get beside Brittany. Brittany was sweating profusely and her eyes were shut tight.
"Brittany, my God what did he do to you?" Alex said in a low voice as he gently stroke her hair. He could sense the confusion, pain, and terror that Brittany was feeling, but also he could sense something else...power. Alex looked down at Brittany in shock as he shook his head slowly unable to face what was happening. "No...shit no! Not now!"
Zanatos stood slowly and wiped the blood off his lips with the back of his hand as he stared at Alex. He was about to charge Alex when he too realized what Alex was sensing.
"Brittany, no don't do it! Fight it Brittany, fight it!" Alex yelled.
"Don't tell me. No you fool!" Zanatos cursed as he glared at Alex. That demonic energy can only be one person's, but there's no way it could be coming from him. He didn't...he couldn't have. Don't tell me he was so foolish. If he did what I think he did then we're all fucked.
Zanatos backed away and shook his head as Alex continued to try and break Brittany out of her trance. "Don't tell me that you gave her your demonic power."
Alex stopped and slowly turned to face him. Alex's eyes were an icy blue as he spoke. "It was the only way I wouldn't be affected by your spell. If my power level was decreased beneath a certain point the spell wouldn't be able to do anything to me."
"You put your demonic energy inside of a human!"
"I didn't have a choice! The moment I came back you would've killed me if I hadn't. Everything would've been fine if you hadn't raped her!" Alex yelled.
"You mean all this time, that barrier at the council meeting, everything that's happened that was all her!"
Before either one of them could continue their argument a strong demonic pulse sent them both to their knees. Alex turned around to see Brittany's body slowly being levitated into the air. The bed sheet fell from her body as she floated in the air completely naked. When Alex's eyes met hers he felt his heart stop. Brittany's eyes were completely white and demonic aura began to surround her.
This isn't good. She can't control the demonic power. It's going to consume her if I can't stop it. Brittany, why did this have to happen now. I wasn't able to protect you so your body instinctively reached out for any power source it could. Even though your body didn't know what it was it sensed the power from within my demonic aura and thus it absorbed it to give you strength. Now's when things go from bad to worse.
Brittany's body began to glow as a dark red aura surrounded her. Alex felt a tingling sensation course through his body as he too became surrounded by the red aura. For an instant his and Brittany's psyche connected and what he felt scared the hell out of him.
All I sense in her...is death and destruction.
Author's Note: Hey it's me again. Just reposting this with the correct name in it. Sorry once again about that. Now that I got a chance to read one of the reviews I can answer one question about what's going on with Brittany. Yes, this is Alex's demonic aura, so yes he does have a little say in what's going on here. Only there's one little problem and you'll find that out next chapter. I will say this, the only thing Alex can really do at this point is extract his demonic aura from Brittany and place it back inside him. That's if he's able to get close enough to her to do that.
