Alex was caught in the encircling light with Brittany. He felt himself slowly becoming weaker as the light intensified. Alex felt as if he was going to black out, but before he did the light around him dispersed. Alex fell to the ground weakly as he watched Brittany's body begin to pulse with power. Alex realized what was about to happen and immediately prepared for the worse.
"Gaia shogai!" Alex yelled. A barrier formed around him as his worst fears came to life. All the demonic energy around Brittany suddenly erupted in one enormous blast. Zanatos was still standing in shock and was barely able to protect himself as the energy encompassed him. The energy Brittany released was so great it nearly demolished all of Zantos's castle.
Alex was blown back by the sheer force of the explosion as was Zanatos. Alex landed in a patch of mud, his barrier destroyed by the explosion. Rain poured down as he stared in awe at Brittany. Brittany's skin was completely black, and black bat wings erupted out of her back. Her eyes were completely white and her brown hair hung loosely around her as she floated in the air. Their was a blood red barrier surrounding her as she surveyed everything before her.
Alex was snapped out of his daze as he heard Zanatos start yelling commands. "Quickly, kill them. Stop them from advancing!"
Alex forced himself to take his eyes off of Brittany as he looked to see what was happening. Evidently when the explosion destroyed the castle it also destroyed Magnus's barrier. He watched as Rire, Baou, Yaza, and Scriar commanded their troops into position. Zanatos continued yelling orders and suddenly his army came forth along with the rest of the eastern and western armies. Both sides were at a standoff their two forces separated by what could only be described as a no man's land. Alex could tell that it would only take a small spark to set the armies off into an all out battle. Alex waited for Zanatos to give the command but instead he realized that Zanatos wasn't paying any attention to the battle. He was instead focusing on the problem of Brittany. Alex silently cursed knowing that all this happened because of him. Zanatos could sense that Alex was glaring at him. Zanatos didn't bother to wipe away the mud and water that covered him from where he landed because of the explosion. He glared at Alex before looking up at Brittany.
"That bitch is going to die." Zanatos declared. His body began to transform and his skin took on a black color. His body became scalier and spikes jutted out from his skin. It was obvious that he wasn't in his full demonic form but still the power that emitted from his was astounding.
Alex felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned around to see Kiba, Holly, and Shadow standing behind him. Kiba looked like he was about to say something when he suddenly stopped and stared at Alex in shock. As he looked at Alex and then up at the suspended form of Brittany. When he looked back at Alex he could only stammer.
"My Lord, what have you done?"
Alex clenched his hands into fists as he weakly stood. "I put my demonic energy inside of Brittany. When Zanatos raped her her body awakened my dormant powers, or at least the portion that I put inside of her. When she activated that power...it consumed my demonic power as well." Alex told him. When he stood the meaning to his words became apparent.
"You're...you're human!" Holly exclaimed.
Alex nodded as he held out his hands. No longer were they talons, but looked like normal hands. His ears were also normal as were his eyes. Alex looked back at Brittany and then at the battle taking place. "Kiba, they need you."
"My Lord, I can't, you need my help." Kiba told him.
"No! This is my mistake and I will fix it."
"My Lord."
"I'm not your Lord call me Alex dammit!"
"Alex...you can't do this alone."
"I'm not going to. I've got Brittany, now go and help them Kiba. You're their Lord now." With that Alex turned around wrapping his trench coat tightly around him.
Kiba looked sadly at Alex before turning his back to him. "Be safe...Alex."
Alex didn't stop as he whispered his reply. "Be safe my friend."
Kiba, Holly, and Shadow hurried to the battle field. All of them knew what they must do. We must win. We can't let him down. This if for our Lord.
Kiba took position in front of the wolf demons as he commanded. "This is for our Lord! This is for our fallen brethren, this is for our future. Do not back down, let us fight as one, and let us win as one!"
The wolf demons charged sounding the start of the final battle for the fate of the realm. Kiba silently prayed that everything would turn out okay. No one hesitated as they clashed with the massive tide of blades, claws, and fangs.

Alex slowly walked towards Zanatos who was still in only his partial demonic form. He glared at Brittany but when Alex neared he focused his attention on him.
"Where's your two puppets Zanatos? I know they can't be far behind if you've gained control of their troops." Alex spat.
Zanatos sneered as his glowing red eyes met Alex's icy blue ones. "Celine, Gigas, get your ass's out here!"
Alex didn't have to wait long to find out as Celine and Gigas stepped out of the shadows of the ruined castle. Celine was already in her demonic form. The tattoo's that covered her body glowed brightly showing that she had already activated the power of her crystal. Gigas however, was still in his human appearance. A fact that Zanatos didn't take lightly to.
"Gigas why the fuck aren't you in your demonic form?" Zanatos asked never taking his eyes off of Alex.
"I didn't think I would need to." Gigas replied upset my Zanatos's reaction.
Zanatos pointed to the sky as he broke his gaze with Alex and looked at Gigas with an exasperated look. "This girl has all of his demonic power residing within her. Do you think that's something to laugh at? We have to kill her now before her mind realizes just what kind of power she has just gained. So get into your damned demonic form now!"
"Sheesh, alright." Gigas said sourly. Gigas threw down his trench coat and soon a ripping sound could be heard coming from his clothes. Gigas flexed his arms out as his clothes ripped to shreds. His muscles double in size and his skin became a brownish red color. His head contorted and became more oval as a pair of horns jutted out from his scalp. Gigas stamped his foot in the ground which sloshed in the mud forming at his feet. In all essence his demonic breed was very easy to depict seeing that he was a more evolved minotaur. Gigas grinned evilly through fangs as he nodded towards Alex.
"What do we do with him?"
"He is of no threat to us now. He's only human after all. Our concern is with killing the girl." Zanatos told him.
Even as the three demon Lord's advanced upon the severely weakened Alex he stood his ground. The logical part of his brain was telling him that if he stood there any longer he'd be committing suicide, but his heart told him something different, something he wasn't expecting it to. Trust her. Alex looked back at Brittany who hadn't moved from within her demonic barrier. Alex could feel the blood lust that radiated off of her. The intensity of her lust caused Alex's spine to shiver as memories of his nightmare flashed in his head.
When Zanatos was within arm's distance he stopped and glared at Alex. "Move out of the way vermin. Your whore is going to die because of your actions. I hope you are satisfied with yourself Kane." Zanatos waved his hand in the direction of the where the two great armies were fighting. "Everyone who has allied themselves with you shall die."
Gigas went to shove Alex out of the way but Alex grabbed Giags's hand and stopped him. Gigas was surprised by Alex's sudden burst of strength which gave Alex the upper hand. "Tengoku shinsei hono'o!"
Flames erupted from Alex's hand consuming Gigas in a raging inferno. Celine and Zanatos were shocked that Alex was able to do that. "I may be human but that doesn't mean I'm defenseless. Brittany showed me that even if you aren't strong you can still protect those you love."
"Hah, you really are a fool Kane. To believe that she really loved you is nothing more than a whimsical belief. Now that I know you put your energy into her it makes perfect sense. She never loved you, and I doubt you ever truly loved her. All that was was the natural attraction of your energy. Right now if she were to attack she wouldn't hesitate to kill you."
Alex's confidence weakened at Celine's words. Alex glared at her and despite his best efforts he couldn't tell wether or not she was lying. She has to be. Our love is real. It's not some stupid attraction...is it? Alex looked back at Brittany and shook his head softly. "No...it's you who is a fool. Our love is real, and despite all you bastards have done it's going to be our love that brings you to your knees."
Alex didn't see Gigas's fist coming at his head until it was too late. Gigas's enormous fist connected with Alex's face making a sickening crunching sound. Blood spurted from Alex's face as he collapsed to the ground. "Well it's going to take a lot more than some damn light show to bring us to are knees."
Alex coughed up blood as he feebly tried to get to his knees. The moment Alex looked up Gigas's foot caught him in the face causing Alex to fall back down in the mud which was now mixed with Alex's blood.
"Gigas quit fooling around with him. We can deal with him later." Zanatos said. Even then he couldn't contain his smirk at seeing Alex so helpless.
"Yeah let me just hit him a few more times to make sure he remembers his place." Gigas said as he began stomping on Alex's chest mercilessly.
Alex felt the bone crunching force of Gigas's blows, but after the second one his entire body began to feel numb. Alex's eyes never left Brittany as his heart called out for her. Brittany I need you. I need your help. No matter what anyone says I know our love is real. You always had faith in me that I would save you, now it's time I had the same faith in you. I know exactly what you're feeling, and I know you can sense what I am feeling too. Our bond will never fail us.
"Brittany...." Alex whispered through cracked and bleeding lips.
Gigas's foot stopped inches from Alex's head as he gave Alex a disgusted look. "Why in the hell are you calling out that bitches name? You having dreams about her, or did I hit you too hard in the head? I keep forgetting that you're now a pathetic human!"
Gigas raised his foot to deliver one final blow to Alex before turning his attention onto Brittany.

Brittany's eyes turned to look at what was happening below her. Who are those people? They look familiar, but I can't know them...can I? Still, if I don't know them why does my heartache when I see what they're doing to that man. It doesn't make sense, none of this does. Brittany struggled to try and remember, try to find out why her heart called out to the man who was lying in the mud being beaten. Suddenly all at once images began to appear in Brittany's mind. Images that she at first didn't understand. Her memory had been pushed aside the moment Alex's demonic powers activated, all she knew now was how to kill. Yet something inside of her told her there was more. Why do I feel so strongly about that man? It doesn't make sense. I've never met him before...have I? So why do I see myself with him if I don't know him?
Brittany's mind tried to comprehend the images that clouded her mind. As far as she knew she had always existed, she just was. She was a killer, a ruler, a Lord. It was then that she heard the human call out a name. When Brittany heard her name being called she felt her heart's pace quicken. Suddenly she felt a strong urge to protect that man. She felt a sensation creep over her body that she couldn't understand. Then all at once everything came rushing back to her. These aren't my memories, these are Alex's. This is Alex's demonic power...which means. Oh God, he's human!
"Alex..." Brittany whispered. When she looked back at him Gigas was raising his foot to smash in Alex's skull. A low growl escaped Brittany's throat as she allowed the sense of blood lust to consume her.
Author's Note: Okay, all of you who are currently reading this, I am asking to review and tell me your opinion about all that's happened so far. This will allow me to decide what ending I want to give this. Also, would you like me to go into detail with the final battle, or just give you the highlights?
