WITNESS
ML: Finally, back to work.
Yzak: What took you?
ML: School commitment. Anyway, I don't own SEED, but I do own all original characters. As this is an AU lemon, please DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE UNDER LEGAL AGE, and if you MUST read, DO NOT OFFER ME FLAMES OR CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! That's all. ROLL IT!

Chapter Three: The First Day
Athrun looked up at the imposing mansion. He whistled, and thought, `I bet the place hasn't changed much since last time.' He walked in and he was right. The place hadn't changed at all. Lacus came down, and said, “Hello Athrun.”
“Hey Lacus.” Athrun replied. He then thought, `Well… I hope you got something we could use, Kira…'
Speaking of which, Kira had been busy. “So Dearka, what have you guys dug up on the shooter and his gang?” he asked.
“Well, the shooter is named Johnny Livorno, and he and some guys make up the Livorno family.” Dearka explained. “They've been pretty good with legitimate business, but their history has been documented. Illegal gambling houses, racketeering, crooked cops, you name it.”
“Oh…” Kira said. He still couldn't believe they had been sponsoring Lacus.
Meanwhile, another guy, Christian, was watching the Clyne house. “All right. Looks like there's a new bodyguard.” He said over the phone.
“Excellent.” Johnny said. “We'll show that witness you don't mess with us.”
“Not yet… Not until she gets out, and then we lure the bodyguard.” Christian replied.
During lunch time, Athrun took out Lacus to this restaurant she knew, where they talked about old times. “So, how's Cagalli been?” Lacus asked.
“Oh, she's well.” Athrun answered. “I was planning to pop the question really soon.”
“That's great!” Lacus said, as she ate. “Well, I was going to wonder whether Wayne would, when he was alive, propose to me.”
“Well, Kira and I give you our condolences.” Athrun said.
“Thank you.” Lacus replied.
Meanwhile, Trevor was just walking to the car, but just as he got within 20 feet of the car, the car exploded (Ex. Yes, there is such a thing as a proximity car bomb. Just watch “Transporter”.) Athrun and Lacus heard it, and Trevor was on the ground. He was unconscious, but Athrun checked his pulse. “He's alive.” He said.
Elsewhere, the bomber cursed to himself, seeing everything. He then made a call. “Johnny, we hit the right car, but that wasn't Clyne who was there.”
“I want that witness dead! If you can't do it, then you'll be next!” Johnny screamed.
