Teardrops
Disclaimers: I own nothing. I do not own the Gundam Boys, though I'm sure I'm like every other fan girl and wish I did, and I do not own the song. “Tear Drops On My Guitar” belongs to the singer songwriter Taylor Swift and Gundam Wing belongs to Bandai and we're all grateful that they produced it ne?
Warnings: Very A.U, Very O.C. There will be yaoi, so if you don't like it run far, far away. Oh, there'll be mild Relena/Dorothy bashing. I need them to be annoying brats for the purpose of the fic so everyone's going to hate them. Sorry to all those Relena/Dorothy fans.
Pairings: 3x4, 5x?, 2+?
Notes: Hope you're all enjoying the story! It's still going to be based on Taylor Swift's song but developed a little bit of a plot. I doubt it's going to be fifty chapters long, but it's definitely not a one shot any longer. Enjoy!

Chapter Two
**********
Two months passed at the dizzyingly fast yet horribly slow pace that time often takes. Wufei had managed to keep the identity of his boyfriend hidden from all but Heero, fighting Duo often when he pushed further then was wanted. Duo himself had yet to reveal who his love interest was though he often bragged about him. He spoke of true love, and the most amazing person he had ever met but little else was divulged. He seemed oblivious to the reactions Heero could not mask, though the stoic boy managed to hide most.
Quatre and Trowa both tried desperately to discourage the arranged marriages and were thwarted at every turn. After the first month of protests their fathers decided to move the girls up to Main, so the couples could get to know each other. Relena and Dorothy going to move up during Thanksgiving break and both girls were going to stay in the Winner Residence.
The spare rooms offered to them were looking more and more appeasing, but both know their parents would pull them back, calling them runaway's, if they left the house before they hit the age of adulthood. Fortunately, Trowa's eighteenth birthday had already passed in August; Quatre's wasn't until December.
**********
Heero looked up from his guitar when Duo walked into the band room grinning. “What are you up to?”
“Nothing. Where's `Fei?”
“He's talking to Treize.” Heero replied as he looked down to his guitar and started strumming out a random tune. Duo sat down, his grin spreading a little. Heero ignored him and continued aimlessly plucking at the strings. The song he played was fairly slow and depressing but it did nothing to deter the grin spreading across Duo's face.
“He's been talking to Treize a lot since school started.”
Something in the tone of Duo's voice made Heero look up again, eyes narrowed suspiciously. “What about it?”
“I think he's using Treize as an excuse to see his secret boyfriend.” Heero sighed and gave Duo a tolerant look. “Don't give me that look. That's the “don't even think about it” look.”
“I wouldn't. He'll kill you.”
“I'm faster then him.” With a laugh and a grin Duo jumped up from his seat and bolted down the hall. Swearing, Heero dropped the instrument and chased after Duo. Under normal circumstances there would be no way for Duo to outrun Heero. He was also the most physically fit of the group, donating two hours a day to working out. It was only when Duo was doing something particularly rotten that he could outrun the other boys of the group.
Duo turned a corner and started running down the math hall. It was the end of the day; the building was empty except for those students's doing extra curricular activities. The math hall was completely silent, but the closer he got to room 135 the more he could hear. Two people were talking, occasionally broken by a short silence. By the time he actually arrived at the door the talking had puttered out to quiet moans. Duo reached for the door handle but was stopped by a tanned hand holding the door shut. “Yuy back off!” Duo hissed as he tried to pull the slab of wood open. Heero simply glared at him.
“This isn't your business Duo! There's a reason Wufei doesn't want you to know!”
Duo looked Heero over slowly then crossed his arms. “Then you answer me. Who's in there? Is he a student?”
“I'm not going to tell you!” Heero snarled as he threw his hands up in frustration. It was a second before he realized his mistake, and it was that second that Duo had been trying to goad out of him. With a smirk he threw the door open and stepped in, but came up short as he stared at the scene before him.
Treize had Wufei pressed against the chalkboard, slowly trailing kisses down the Chinese boy's neck and shoulder. It was Wufei who was moaning as Treize attacked his most sensitive spots. Duo choked, eyes growing impossibly large as Treize leaned up to steal a kiss, which was eagerly returned. The sound of his shock broke that embrace and both turned wide eyes on the boy before them.
Heero walked in, arms crossed as he glared at Duo. “Are you happy now?”

“I was thinking you two could honeymoon in Aruba, what do you think Quatre?” His father asked, looking up from one of the pamphlets that Quatre was supposed to be looking over as well. Quatre was looking at anything but the booklets and at that moment was looking down to his cell phone as his thumbs deftly moved over the keypad.
“Whatever Dad.” #Blah, blah blah-all he ever talks about is this stupid wedding.#
Quatre's father frowned, crossing his arms. “This is your wedding Quatre, you might show a little interest.” His voice was aggravated and only grew angrier when his son shrugged his shoulders and kept his attention on his cell phone. “Why do you care so little for this Quatre?”
The blond shrugged his shoulders and set the phone in his lap as he looked up to his father. “You're the one who wants this father, not me.” Quatre looked down when his phone beeped in his lap and with a quick press of a button his new message was on display.
#Ditto. Why couldn't you have been born in October? We'd be able to move away from their obsessing and in with Heero and Wufei. Age faster!#
#LOL, sorry. We just have forty five days till my birthday though.#
“What's wrong with the marriage Quatre? Relena is perfect for you! She's beautiful, well bred-”
“And so annoying that if she were my sister, and I thank Allah that she is not, I would follow Milliardo's lead and turn gay myself!” Quatre yelled as he pushed himself from his seat. The cell phone in his lap fell to the ground, and settled by his feet. With a roar Quatre's father also leapt to his feet and before he could think of his actions or Quatre to understand the danger his father had backhanded him across the face, sending Quatre flying back into his chair. As he stared up to his father, his eyes wide with fear, a small drizzle of blood slipped from his lips to run down his chin.
As his wound began to throb with a dull pain the cell beside his chair beeped, alerting him to a received message. #45 days is too long to wait love. But we'll make it, it's not like waiting'll hurt us. #
The Elder Winner stood, panting to regain his breath and to reign in his raging temper. His son's blue eyes, normally so full of caring and compassion, were now full of fear. The room was silent but for the Mr. Winners breathing and the tick, tick of Quatre's watch. “You will marry Relena Peacecraft on the twenty-first day of May.” His voice, rough with anger, cut the silence into a million pieces and made his son tremble slightly. “And if you ever, ever threaten me like that again you will be dead to me and this family.” The cell phone beeped again. “Do I make myself clear?” Quatre nodded slowly, whipping his chin off with the sleeve of his shirt. “Get out of my sight.”
Quatre reached for the phone then left the room as quickly as his shaking legs would take him. He didn't look down to the two messages until he was safe behind the door to his room. #Something's happened, I need you and Trowa to meet us at Treize's house.#
It was Heero's number.
***********
Duo sat alone on one of the overly stuffed couches in Treize's parlor. Treize stood by the window, looking out over the lawn and Wufei sat in one of the few single chairs in the room, glaring at the braided boy. Heero stood by the door, waiting for the arrival of the last two of their group. The tension in the room could be cut with a spoon it was so thick.
“Did you ever think I could have a reason for keeping his identity secret?” Wufei hissed, his hands strangling the armrest of the chair. Duo winced, knowing very well that Wufei was imagining his neck as the armrest and what Wufei could do if he decided to attack him.
“I didn't-”
“I could be sent back to China if this gets out Maxwell! Treize could lose his job and his guardianship of Heero. There were reasons to keep it from you!” Wufei's face grew redder as he spoke and Duo felt worse as the more Wufei said.
“I'm sorry! I thought I'd catch you with some hot teenage boy! Not with your old foster father!” Heero snorted silently as Treize's cheeks turned a very faint pink and he continued to stare out the window. Duo leaned foreword, holding his hands out pleadingly. “I just thought you were being a secretive ass! Like usual!”
The room fell silent once again, the grandfather clock ticking away the minutes. After two minutes that seemed like two eternities Quatre and Trowa walked in through the door Heero was leaning against. “We got here as soon as we could, what happened that was such an emergency?” Quatre panted, looking around the room for injuries.
Duo looked away from the staring contest he was fighting with Wufei and immediately gasped when he saw the dark coloring marring the blonde's cheek. “We should be asking you that Quat!”
Quatre shrugged, faking an embarrassed grin as he did so. “I tripped over a floor rug and hit the corner of the table with my face. It's bruised but nothings broken, the skin isn't even split. I'll be alright.” Duo stared at him for a moment then started laughing and teasing Quatre about his clumsiness. Heero however watched Quatre's eyes instead of listening to his words and he saw the fear in those eyes when the bruise was mentioned. He saw the suspicion in Trowa's when he looked over to them. There had been no table, and he frowned in confusion at the first lie he had ever hear grace the blonde's lips.
Wufei cleared his throat, pulling everyone's attention away from the teasing being thrown at Quatre. Duo immediately looked guilty and the other two looked confused as they sat on a vacant love seat, half draping over each other. “I called you is because it's time to reveal a secret Wufei and I have been hiding. Duo discovered who his lover is.” Heero voice was quiet.
Wufei turned his glare towards the Japanese boy at the door. “Because you let him! You were there, you should have stopped him!”
“I tried, you know how quick he is when he's doing something evil.” Heero's voice was a snarl and his blue eyes glared ice at the other oriental boy. “Why would I let him get to you two Wufei? As you so kindly pointed out I could lose my home if this gets out. The only home I've known since I lost my parents.”
Wufei stood up and took a threatening step closer to the other boy. “You've been trying to convince us to tell them since school started! How do we know this wasn't some scheme to get it out in the open?”
Heero took a step forward as well, his fists clenching at his sides. “How dare you insult me like that? You know I'd never betray you! You're my best friend! I've kept your secret, silently, since the first night I walked in on you and Treize screwing like rabbits!”
“So not an image I wanted to picture!” Duo gagged. Neither boy heard him they were so close to blows. Muscles tensed as they both prepared to leap at one another. The attack never came because Treize stepped away from the window and placed a calming hand on his lover's shoulder.
“That's enough, both of you.” Treize's voice was calm, but hard enough to grab the attention of both boys. “Wufei, it was our own fault that Duo discovered us. We should not have met in the classroom. We should not meet in public if we don't want to be discovered.” Wufei glared at him for a moment, wanting only to hang onto his anger but after some thought he could only snarl in acceptance. “Wufei, you're feeling threatened, I understand that and why, but that doesn't mean you need to attack Heero. He did his best.”
Wufei groaned and leaned against Treize's broad chest. “I know…I know…” Wufei looked up to Heero, meeting cold blue eyes. “Sorry, I just…”
“Hn.” Heero nodded and took a seat on the couch Duo was occupying. Treize sat down on the armrest of the chair Wufei sat in and began to rub his shoulders.
Quatre, Trowa and Duo sat in their own seats, shocked that the two had nearly attacked one another. Trowa was the first to regain his voice after the explosion. “How did you two get together?”
Treize looked over to the uni-banged boy and shrugged. “It makes me sound like a pedophile but…when we were visiting his family I found myself very attracted to him. Because I knew that my feelings were wrong, and could go no further I decided to get myself very drunk while Heero was out exploring and Wufei was with his family. Wufei came back sooner then I had expected and we started talking, the alcohol loosening my lips quite a bit.”
“He made an ass of himself to the say the least.” Treize cast a sour look down to his smirking koi. “I had developed a crush on him some time ago…we lost control and neither one of us regretted it.” Wufei finished. The other boys nodded in understanding and acceptance. Duo whistled quietly and fell back into the couch.
Quatre turned to look at the two then smiled. It wasn't his normal smile; his cheek was soar enough to prevent the spreading expression. Despite the handicapped he managed to smile one of his gentle, disarming smiles. “You love each other.”
Wufei and Treize nodded, hugging one another tightly. “After my birthday in March `m going to file for citizenship. I have the paperwork, and the office said I should be able to get it. I jus have to wait for my eighteen birthday.” Wufei sighed wearily. “But if anything were to happen before that…”
“It won't.” Heero answered abruptly. “I won't let it.”
Wufei looked over to Heero, staring at him for a silent minute then nodded his head slowly. “Thanks.”
“Just try to not make out at school anymore ne? It's kinda gross.” Duo joked laughing as he winked at the couple. “After all, Treize is an old man next to my boyfriend!” Duo's laughter was but short when a pillow smashed into his face. Bt the time he got the fluffy bulk away Heero had disappeared. He almost looked worried but Wufei's laughter derailed his train of thought and set him to attack the Chinese boy with his own pillow.
As Duo launched himself at the other boy Quatre got up and followed his hurting friend.
**********
“You're hurting yourself.” Heero looked up from the sparkling counter then went over to the freezer and started loading ice into an ice pack. “We can all see you care for him. Everyone but Duo himself.” Heero shrugged and shut the door to the fridge. “You should talk to him Heero.”
Heero walked over to the blond haired boy and laid the pack on his cheek, keeping it there even when he winced. “And tell him what Quatre? That every time I see him I want to pull him to me and kiss him senseless? Tell him that I want to kill his boyfriend for taking him before I could get a chance?”
“Yes.” Quatre hissed as the ice began to seep into his cheek. “It's tearing you apart! At least you'd have some closure if you spoke to him.”
“You've never fallen before.”
“This isn't about me Heero it's about- wait…what? What are you talking about?”
Heero gently pushed Quatre to one of the stools by the buffet and handed him the icepack to hold. “I've known you for close to four years and I have never seen you trip over anything.” Quatre's eyes clouded over and he looked down to his lap. “Who hit you Quatre?” The blond shrugged his shoulder's, his gaze glued to his lap. “Was it Trowa?”
“No!” Quatre gasped in horror, his eyes wide. Heero nodded.
“I didn't think so.” Quatre sighed shakily and looked down to his lap. “Was it your father?” Quatre weakly nodded. “How did it happen?”
“We got into a fight, I told him Relena would make me gay.”
“That wasn't very smart considering how homophobic he is.” Heero leaned against the counter, his arms crossed over his chest. Quatre nodded in agreement, his hand with the ice bag falling into his lap. “Did you tell Trowa?” Quatre shook his head silently. “He's suspicious, if he doesn't already know. You should tell him.”
Quatre shook his head emphatically. “He'd kill him Heero.”
“He'll kill him if you tell him or not. He's suspicious already Quatre, and he cares more for you then anyone else. It's not fair to keep this secret from him.” Quatre continued to stare at his lap, and started to tremble as tears trickled down his cheeks. Heero hugged him tightly, causing Quatre to turn and sob into his friends shoulder.
“He'll kill me if he finds out…!” Heero knew that the `He' Quatre now talked about was no longer Trowa. Quatre was afraid of what his father might do to him when he discovered Quatre's relationship.
With quiet murmurs and gentle assurances Heero was able to sooth his friend enough to stop crying. “Don't worry Quatre, I won't let him, and Trowa sure as hell won't. It'll be all right; I'll make sure of it, just like I am for Wufei. I promise.”

I'm sorry for making Quatre's father such an ass-hole in this. I felt horrible doing it, but it fits the story so a jerk he will remain. Again I'm sorry!
Special thanks to Camillian and Theaprilbaby! I love getting comments, and was tickled pink to get two already! Thanks for responding guys, and keep it up! It inspires me to get things typed faster if I lack will power. ^_~
