Disclaimers: Same old, same old. Bandai and Taylor Swift own all the good parts, I just used and manipulated they're stuff. There is no profit being made, my bank account has about an inch of dust in it if you want proof. ^_~

Warnings: Very A.U, Very O.C. Yaoi, psycho Relena and some serious angst. The rating is NC 17 for a reason folks! There is some disturbing content, not necessarily in this chapter, but it's there in the fic.

Pairings: 3x4, 5x13, 2+?

Notes: FINALLY! I have at last updated, I'm only a year behind. ^^;; Again, I apologize most profoundly for not updating in SO long. I thought that I'd be able to update more often last summer but Life decided to get in the way, on top of me being a Blonde and forgetting and somehow it got lost along the way. I feel bad, as I received some very encouraging and wonderful comments on this fic, but despite all that was halfway tempted to ditch the story when I remembered it a couple months ago. Fortunately I received another comment, one year later, again complimenting the fic and its ideas. Because of this I decided to revive the fic and somehow managed to get chapter four all typed up! Chapter five will be coming soon, and I promise not to neglect this fic again!

My most profound apologies for the extended wait!

Also, give up a hand for my new proofreader Rachel. She has agreed to help make this fic even better by correcting all my mistakes. As you all and I know that's no easy task so she deserves a round of applause!

Enjoy!

Chapter Four

**********

Heero returned to school on the following day, though he was quite a bit more skittish around the girls and women of the school. The boys made sure to keep a tight net around him as a buffer, and did anything in their power to keep the horrible Peacecraft sisters away from him. And even the solitary Heero was very grateful for their efforts. There was a time or two when Relena -Dorothy didn't bother him unless she was with her sister- was able to get to the reclusive boy. Heero was ready for those times and if he couldn't threaten her away, he'd find the nearest exit and make a beeline for his friends. Those times became fewer and fewer as he continued to evade her.

At the beginning Quatre and Trowa followed their fathers bidding and attempted friendliness towards the girls. When they were repeatedly snubbed, and repeatedly annoyed they began to ignore the two girls; and the closer to Quatre's eighteenth birthday, the more they struggled to ignore them. The Peacecraft sisters seemed to get annoyed at the lack of attention and brought it up to the boys' parents. Trowa's father didn't say a thing; he understood just how annoying the girls were and could be. Quatre's father had discovered that he could bully his son into submission, and did so on a daily basis.

Quatre began coming to school with busted up lips, black eyes and bruises. Each time this happened he'd create a plausible excuse, striving to hide the truth from Trowa especially. The brunette would nod acceptance with narrowed eyes to each excuse and never ask about the wound again. Wufei at first believed his excuses, but grew suspicious when these wounds continued to occur. Duo accepted any and all excuses with a laugh and a joke against Quatre's clumsiness. Heero would simply glare, as he knew what the true cause of those injuries were. Quatre would cast a glance towards him, silencing any and all protests.

Despite the violence towards him Quatre encouraged the group to ignore the two girls and they continued to keep them away from Heero. Duo had even switched into Heero and Wufei's calculus class to help ward off the girl when she switched into the class as well.

As Quatre placed his last pair of pants into his overnight bag, he looked around his room. There was nothing else laying out that he'd forgot, and after a bag check and a more thorough search around the room he deemed himself ready. He zipped his bag, a smile dancing on his lips, and then walked downstairs. His smile disappeared instantaneously when he stepped off of the landing and saw his father and Dorothy waiting for him. He hadn't told them about his overnight vacation until he got home from school, and had immediately gone upstairs to pack. He knew they'd have something to say.

“Quatre,” It was his father that decided to voice his complaints first. “I really think you need to stay home. You didn't give me enough notice to allow you to stay out overnight.”

Quatre looked at his father, sighing in relief. He looked irritated but his voice was calm meaning there was little threat of abuse. “I'm sorry dad. You know I would have normally given you more notice, but Heero surprised me with these tickets! It would be very rude if I didn't go. You don't need to worry; Trowa will be there, and you know you can trust him. It's only for one night, promise!” The elder winner walked out of the room without another word, and Quatre took that as a go ahead to leaving. He bolted for the door, not noticing his blonde stalker until she blocked the exit he was heading towards. At that instant he heard Trowa pull up and he glared when the girl refused to move out of his way. “What do you need Dorothy?”

She didn't answer him; she simply looked him up and down, studying his demeanor. Quatre stared back, crossing his arms in irritation. Five minutes passed and Trowa started honking the horn outside. Quatre could even hear Duo yelling at him. Neither blond broke their staring contest but Quatre did tap his fingers impatiently. “You're planning something, and it's not this little escapade.” Quatre's eyebrow crept up his forehead in question.

“And what exactly am I planning?”

Dorothy glared at the blonde, her body trembling with irritation. “I have an idea, but nothing I can prove just yet.”

Quatre shrugged, leaning down to pick up his bag again. “Well, you can think what you want. I'm leaving.” Quatre reached for the door handle, forcing her back as he pulled the heavy wood open. Duo's head was hanging out of the back window and Trowa was looking a little worried in the driver's seat. The blond boy smiled reassuringly and began to descend the marble steps.

“I will figure you out Quatre Winner.” Dorothy warned, standing in the doorway. Quatre turned back, his smile sweet yet poison laced.

“You will be too late Ms. Peacecraft.” He turned back towards the green SUV and climbed into the passenger seat. Wufei and Treize were sitting in the middle, the former glaring at the girl standing in the doorway. Duo sat in the very back with Heero, who had to physically pull the braided boy back into the car. Quatre giggled at his friend's antics.

“Quat! You tell us where we're going! Your boy toy refuses and we all want to know!” Quatre shook his head, turning to look back into the rest of the car. “Aww! Come on! I gave up some plans to come out on this little excursion and I want to know what was so important that you begged us to come!” Duo had begun to climb over the middle seat to get to the blonde haired boy.

Laughing now, Quatre shook his head. “You'll have to wait and see Duo. And we're sorry to have disrupted your plans, but I wanted our friends with us. Please send my apologies to…” The blonde left the end of his sentence open, hoping for a name to this mysterious boyfriend. Duo had been with him for months now and no one in the group knew his name, and no one had seen him.

Duo only grinned and shook his finger at his friend. “Nice try, but I'm not telling.”

“That's because he does not exist.” Wufei stated very matter of factly, causing both Heero and Treize to snort in amusement. Duo's jaw dropped as he stared at the Chinese boy, his mouth moving as if to speak but shock had froze his voice. Quatre started laughing harder as Trowa smirked at the braided boys predicament. “Let's face it Maxwell, you say you have a boyfriend but I think you're making him up.”

“That's not true!”

“Then where is he?”

Duo glared at the other boy, Wufei's smug smirk stretched across his lips. “He's real! He just wants to take things slow, and doesn't want to meet anyone until he's sure we'll stay a couple. Something about not making friends he'd have to leave anyway. He's antisocial, like Heero.” All eyes were on Duo, scrutinizing his excuse. No one saw the shot of pain that crossed Heero's eyes at the comparison.

“Alright Maxwell, we'll believe you, for the time being.” Duo glared at Wufei a moment longer then flopped back into his seat, mumbling beneath his breath. Heero smiled weakly at the boy's frustration, still hiding his internal turmoil. His attention was soon changed as he watched the boys in the front of the car. After laughing at the braided boys antics Quatre had turned to smile at Trowa. Trowa smiled back and reached across the console and laced his fingers with the blonde's, then looked forward once again. They didn't speak and it was obvious to Heero that they didn't need to. It was the first time he'd seen either so content and worry free.

Wufei was conversing quietly with Treize and paid the couple little attention, but Duo had seen where Heero was looking and had watched the play himself. “They're hiding something, and none of us have a clue.”

“Ah.” Heero sat back and looked towards his friend.

“Do you know where they're taking us?”

Heero shook his head, sighing quietly. “No, they've been very tight lipped. I know as much as you do. They called yesterday and asked us to come on this trip.” Heero looked towards the front once again, they hadn't changed. “They're relaxed, happy. It makes me wonder…”

Duo looked to the front then back to Heero. “Wonder what?” The brunette shook his head, causing Duo to twitch at him. When no further information was revealed, Duo pouted as he asked another question, to keep the conversation going. “Do you know if they're going to take up your offer and move in? Quatre is eighteen today.” Heero shook his head again. Duo glared then launched forward and assaulted Heero's sides. The surprise attack left him defenseless, and the abuse forced Heero to double over in laughter. Soon the mysterious destination was forgotten as everyone watched Heero's demise.

**********

The vehical drove into an empty parking lot and came to a stop. The group piled out and followed Quatre and Trowa to the front of a church like building. The front sign named the building HomS, the only religious group that catered to homosexuals and performed marital ceremonies for them. They were not a very popular faction and received very little outside help. The building the group was about to enter was a simple white square with simple doors. There was no decoration, but Quatre and Trowa looked on the building with shining eyes.

“Brother Stephen's the head of this branch. We were able to get into contact with him a week or so ago. After we explained our situation he agreed to keep the chapel open late for us.” Quatre explained, leaning into Trowa's side as the taller boy hugged him. Four sets of eyes widened when the two's plan became obvious.

“Can you do this?” Treize asked skeptically.

“We can. We're both adults today.” Trowa answered, nuzzling his lover's hair. He was smiling, they both were. They knew how their parents would react and they also knew that after tonight there would be nothing their parents could do to separate them. They were essentially free.

“You're shittin' me!” Duo shouted, grinning. “You two are getting hitched? Right on! Now you two can do the dirty without worrying!”

“Duo!!” Quatre yelled, blushing furiously. Trowa glared at the braided boy, smacking him over the head. Heero chuckled before glancing over to Treize. The elder man was looking stressed and Wufei was giving him the `stop being an idiot' glare.

“What's wrong?”

“I can get fired for condoning this.” Treize mumbled. Wufei whapped the older man over the head in irritation, causing the group to. As everyone finished teasing one another, the group followed Quatre and Trowa into the building. The sanctuary was the first door on the left, and as promised, it was ready for the ceremony. The walk to the front stand had a lit candle every foot and the Brother was standing at the front, patiently waiting for the group. Beside him was a small table, and on that table sat the marriage certificate and two expensive looking ring boxes.

Trowa smiled as he looked at the preparations and leaned in to whisper quietly in Quatre's ear. “Nothing can stop us now Love; nothing.” Quatre nodded, smiling brightly as he hugged the taller boy. Duo snickered quietly behind them but was quickly hushed when Heero jabbed him in the side with his elbow. Quatre and Trowa hurried over to Stephen as the rest of the group made their way over to their seats. Heero smiled as he watched his two friends.

“You're happy they're doing this.” Treize whispered to his ward, sitting down on his left. Stephan was confirming a few last minute things with the couple quietly as the group got comfortable. The couple was beaming as they listened to him.

Heero's eyes remained focused on the couple and a smile stretched across his lips when he saw Trowa hug the smaller boy tightly, and place a quick but romantic kiss on his cheek. “They love each other Treize. They deserve happiness.” Treize sighed, and then nodded slowly as a smile softened his features. Heero grinned in triumph at winning the older man over -then leaned in to whispering in his ear. “You know their fathers won't like this Treize… can they still move in?” Treize nodded.

“Friends,” Stephen's voice rang, for the first time loud enough for the group to hear. Heero leaned back into his own seat. Duo took the remaining seat next to Wufei with a grin spread from ear to ear. “We're gathered here tonight to celebrate the love Quatre and Trinton share.”

“Kinda trippy hearing Tro's real name.” Duo mumbled under his breath. Wufei elbowed him in the side.

Stephen turned from the group to the couple in front of him. They stood with clasped hands and it was obvious the emotion Quatre was going through as his hands were trembling in Trowa's. “This night you two begin a journey of partnership. You will laugh together, cry together and there will inevitably be times when you scream at one another.” Trowa's eyebrow crept up sarcastically as he looked over to the blonde. Quatre wrinkled his nose and shook his head at the idea, causing Trowa to smile. Duo whispered something to Wufei and the Chinese boy's reply was to beat the braided boy over the head.

“The road you two will travel will be rough, but if you keep love in your heart you'll make it through -together.” Quatre smiled. “You may now recite your vows.”

Quatre turned to fully face his boyfriend, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves. “I, Quatre, take you, Trinton, to be my lawfully wedded husband, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my one true love. In the presence of our friends, our family, I offer you my solemn vow to be your devoted partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad and in joy as well as in sorrow. I vow to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and if it comes to it -scream at you.” Trowa grinned at this little addition and both boys heard Duo start laughing and Wufei elbowed him in the gut to hush him. “I promise to cherish you for as long as we both shall live.” Trowa tightened the hold he had on Quatre's hands, smiling at the blond, a shimmer of tear in his eyes.

“Trinton, you may now say your vows.”

“I, Trinton, take you, Quatre, to be my lawfully wedded husband, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my one true love. In the presence of our friends, our family, I offer you my solemn vow to be your devoted partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad and in joy as well as in sorrow. I vow to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you. And definitely scream with you.” The blonde giggled. “I promise to cherish you for as long as we both shall live, and for so much longer.” Quatre's smile grew impossibly wider and a happy tear trickled down his cheek. Trowa brushed the droplet aside and Quatre's smile grew a little more. Each boy then turned to the little podium and picked up their respective boxes. Trowa was the first to open his box, revealing a gold band with a small emerald in the center. Quatre's hand trembled in his as he started to slide the ring onto his left ring finger. “With this ring, I wed thee, and seal the promise I have made. I am yours Quatre; for now, for tomorrow and for all eternity.”

The blonde flexed his fingers, adjusting to the feel and weight of the ring as he struggled to hold back tears. It took him only a moment before he looked up and smiled brightly at the taller boy, taking a gold ring with an aquamarine stone out of his box. He slid the band onto Trowa's finger. “With this ring, I wed thee, and seal the promise I have made. For now and for all eternity I am yours.”

Duo leaned over and whispered to the other three boys. “I'm going to gag on all of this sap.” His head received three swift raps of irritation. “Ow!”

Stephen eyed the group for the interruption, snorting at Duo's sheepish grin. Quatre and Trowa heard nothing, saw nothing and knew nothing but one another. The minister shook his head in amusement before clearing his throat to gain the rooms attention. “By the power vested in me by the state of Maine I now pronounce you husband and husband.” Trowa pulled the blond forward, lacing their fingers together as he leaned in and captured his lips in a breathtaking kiss. Duo whistled and started catcalling, forcing the two apart with bright blushes covering their cheeks. Stephen rolled his eyes at the braided boy, laughing quietly before he pronounced: “I now present to you Mr. Trinton and Quatre Barton.”

***********

The next morning Quatre woke up with his head tucked under Trowa's chin. They were in a small hotel room that they had made reservations for before they left, theirs was the honeymoon sweet. Their king size bed had thin, gauzy curtains that helped to filter the lighted window but a little managed to slip into the secluded domain. It was heaven, and it was the first time he'd ever woken up in the same bed tucked next to Trowa. Smiling he shifted closer to the banged boy and he abruptly remembered the rest of his wedding night. He was a little sore after their private celebration, but that pain was just a reminder of how perfect his world had become. His smile grew as he snuggled even closer to the brunette, waking him up accidentally.

Trowa's emerald eyes opened slowly and it took him one silent moment before his memories cleared and he broke into a grin. He rolled over so he was hovering over his blond lover, pinning him into the feather mattress. “Good morning my love.”

“Good morning.” Trowa leaned in and kissed the smaller boy gently. Quatre giggled quietly before wrapping his arms around Trowa's shoulders and pulling him into a deeper kiss. The giggle turned to a moan as Trowa's lips left his and began a slow decent down his neck, heading to a more pleasurable place. “Trowa…!”

The chuckle that followed the blonde's exclamation did not come from the only other known occupant of the room. The taller boy rolled off of Quatre quickly and both sets of eyes looked over to the door. Heero was standing against the doorframe, looking fairly relaxed with his arms crossed in front of him. “It's about time you two woke up.” Quatre's face was flaming red -even Trowa's cheeks were faintly colored. Heero ignored their embarrassment and looked over to clock. “It's two in the afternoon, you must have had one hell of a honeymoon.”

“What?!” Quatre yanked the alarm clock off of the dresser, his cheeks paling in alarm. “No! City Hall closes at three, we'll never get there in time!” Quatre turned to Trowa, looking very worried. They had no other time to get those papers submitted and they needed to submit them before going home and before their fathers found out. Money had a way of making things disappear, but if the marriage was legal they couldn't do a thing about it.

Heero smiled reassuringly. “That's already been taken care of. Treize took the liberty of borrowing the SUV and got everything taken care of at City Hall. He even insured a speedy process.” With this, Heero winked and Quatre sagged back into Trowa's arms with relief. “He's also anxious to get home. We want to prepare your room…just in case.” Trowa nodded slowly, smiling gratefully. Heero smiled back at both of them. “I'm so happy for you both. This day has been long in coming.” Quatre nodded in agreement, cuddling closer to his husband. “Get up, get ready.”

“We'll be down in half an hour.” Trowa assured.

Heero nodded, and opened the door to leave but couldn't resist a grin as he did so. “As a warning, Duo is anxious to know how many times you two did It.” The couples' faces lit up with embarrassment again. This bit of fun news was destroyed the next moment when Heero remembered the last message he had to relay. He watched as the color vanished from his friends' face. “Your parents have called several times. Mr. Winner wants you home immediately.”

**********

The SUV pulled into the long driveway of Winner mansion and Trowa shifted the vehicle into park in front of the ominous building. They had dropped the rest of their group off at Treize's house after a thoroughly embarrassing car ride. It seemed the other boys had done most of their teasing to ease the couple's anxiety, but it was time for them to face their families, and they would have to do so without the help of the other boys; much to the annoyance of Duo, who volunteered to beat their faces in. In the event of banishment they knew they didn't need to pack a thing, they had always expected the worst and made sure their most valuable possessions were packed in their overnight bags. The savings accounts that had been set up for them when they were infants had developed quite a large sum, and the two boys had separated those accounts from their families. They had even contributed to those accounts with various odd jobs, and did not want that money to mysteriously disappear. They had prepared and were ready for whatever was to come.

All that remained was the truth. As they drove home, Trowa had called his family and asked them to meet him at the Winner household. The excuse he had used was that he had important news both families needed to hear. This revelation need only happen once in both of their opinions. Trowa stared at his father's Jaguar for one long minute before taking a deep breath and turning to his lover. Quatre was staring at his house, his complexion several shades to pale and his frame was trembling with trepidation. “Hey…” A few moments passed before aquamarine eyes blinked in recognition and turned towards emerald. “It'll be all right. No matter what happens, we'll be all right. I promise.” Quatre smiled weakly and nodded, leaning into the kiss Trowa placed on his lips.

The time it took for them to reach the front door and walk into the parlor took a relatively small amount of time that felt like an eternity for both boys. The butler took their coats and quietly inquired about Quatre's bag. When Quatre shook his head; in reply the butler smiled sadly and directed the boys to the drawing room, where the family had gathered.

Trowa's parents sat on one of the mauve silk couches, talking quietly to Quatre's father; Catherine, his sister, sat at one of the polished tables with three of Quatre's sisters. There was a marble chess set sitting on the table and it looked as if Irea was winning the game she had with Catherine. Quatre's father sat in a single chair near the Barton's, looking vaguely annoyed. The Peacecraft sisters were also in the room, chatting up a storm in their own loveseat. The gathering should have been comforting; instead it was frightening.

Trowa and Quatre stepped into the room silently and to the blonde's dismay his father was the first to notice their presence. “At last you arrive! Quatre, you know it's highly inappropriate to call a meeting and then arrive late for it!” Quatre's cheeks flamed and he looked down in chagrin. Trowa frowned inwardly and bumped the blond discreetly, getting him to look up once again. “What's the purpose of this meeting boys? This is highly uncalled for.”

Quatre's eyes traveled to the ground a second time as his body started quaking. His father was perturbed and they had not even told him their news. It wasn't a good sign and usually led to sever physical pain. Trowa's frown became external when he noticed the tremors in Quatre's frame and he moved closer to his spouse. Quatre looked up into emerald eyes and the two simply stared at one another, reassuring without words. After several minutes of this silent communication both boys began to relax and Trowa turned back to the group, his frown mostly gone. “We have come to tell you, our family, something very important but you're not going to like it.”

“You two are gay, aren't you?” Dorothy interrupted, her voice dripping with disgust. She and Relena had suspected, had even attempted to goad the two boys into any sort of reaction. Dorothy had even snuck into Quatre's room one night only to be rebuffed most adamantly. She and Relena had been planning a way to use their knowledge to their own benefit but did not have the proof they needed for a true confirmation. Not until Trowa and Quatre looked into each other's eyes and the light caught the glare of the rings they now wore.

“We are.” Quatre agreed, his voice steady considering the fact that he was still trembling. The roar of anger that erupted from his father was not recognizable as any actual words. Trowa's father only stared at his son, his complexion a sick shade of green; his mother simply turned her head and began to sob uncontrollably into her husbands shoulder.

“We're also married.” Trowa added coolly, sneaking his arm around the blonde's waist. Quatre leaned into the embrace and relaxed his head against the taller boys shoulder for support. This proved too much for the elder Winner and before either boy could react he grabbed hold of the blonde's arm, pulled him forward and punched him across his face. As his fist connected his ring caught on Quatre's skin and ripped his cheek open.

The blow sent Quatre sprawling across the floor and brought a look of terror to his aquamarine eyes. One pale hand reached up to the bleeding wound as Quatre watched his father stomp towards him, preparing to strike again. Time seemed to stop for those in the room as they watched the older man in frightened silence. Quatre scrambled backwards, terrified, but was brought to a sudden halt when he backed into a side table. In what appeared to be slow motion Quatre's father reared down on him a second time, but time sped up again when Trowa snarled angrily and rushed between the two, protecting the fallen boy. Green eyes glared into brown as Trowa stood between the two, body tensed for a fight. “I knew you hurt him Winner. He tried to hide it -but I knew you were the one harming him! I should kill you!”

Quatre's father took a startled step back and crossed his arms, his glare matching the teenager's. “It's the only way to keep the little shit in line. If you spend any time with him, you'll realize this. He had been behaving; I finally got him to act like a proper young man; not the little bitch he had been being. Now I see you've ruined all my hard work and turned him into your own bitch. What a pathetic little boy he is, needing someone stronger to lead him. My work with him is never done.”

“Bastard!” Trowa yelled as he started to advance forward, his body ready for a fight and trembling with anger. In the same heartbeat Trowa stepped forward he was brought to a sudden halt when a trembling hand grabbed hold of his clenched fist, forcing him to look down to the blonde. Quatre looked deep into Trowa's eyes and shook his head slowly. Trowa's eyes rebelled against the silent command but the younger boy kept his ground; and kept the eye contact until Trowa finally backed down. Trowa's fingers unclenched and laced with Quatre's as he helped the blonde to his feet. He pulled him into a hug and turned toward Quatre's father. “You will never again hurt him Winner. I won't allow it; I won't allow you anywhere near him.”

He started laughing. “You won't `allow' me, boy?” Trowa nodded, snarling as the laughter continued. “You'll have no choice, no say in the matter at all. Quatre is still under my care; he belongs to me. He always will. Your marriage is a farce. He's not old enough to be married and all I have to do to end this game is call the courthouse with that bit of information. After that all I have to do is get a doctor to declare him mentally unstable and you'll never see him again. Keep me from him then.”

“My birthday was yesterday… Father.” Quatre quietly interrupted. The words did not seem to register with his father, but caused Trowa to smile in satisfaction and bring Quatre into a tighter hug.

“What the hell are you talking about boy?”

“I turned eighteen yesterday. I'm old enough to make my own decisions, and I choose to be married. I'm old enough now that if I don't want to stay here with you I don't have to.” Quatre's voice grew stronger as he continued to speak. He now stood straight beside Trowa, glaring at the man before them. His father seemed stunned by his son's rebellion, but the shock quickly wore to fury. When the elder Winner began to glare angrily at his son Quatre glared back. “I'm going to stay with my husband, father, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. You no longer control me.”

A deadly silence over took the room at the blonde's bold statement. When the elder Winner's face started turning red, Trowa quickly pulled Quatre behind him protectively. “Get out! Get out of my house before I have you thrown out! You disgust me, and disgrace this family! And I refuse to keep a blemish in this family! You are not longer a Winner! You never will be again! Get out!” Quatre grabbed Trowa's hand and started speed walking for the door.

The brunette stopped in the doorway, halting Quatre's hasty exit and turned back to the fuming father. “For once Winner, you and I agree.” Trowa looked back towards the blond when he tugged his arm and smiled before turning back to the older man. “He's no longer and never shall be a Winner again. Quatre is a Barton.”

Get out!

Trowa and Quatre left the living room, listening as Trowa's mother began to sob in remorse and their fathers began to argue. Each step took them away from the chaos that was ensuing in the living room as everyone began to yell at one another, blaming and pointing fingers until the boys could no longer hear the uproar. The butler smiled as he handed their coats over to them and they walked out of the Winner household for the last time. Quatre had gone numb by that point and wordlessly followed his brunette lover, as he was led to the SUV.

Once reaching their destination Trowa sat the blonde down and started inspecting his cheek. The wound had stopped bleeding, but the bruise was deepening by the second and spreading from the top of the boy's cheekbone and down to his jaw line; taking up half of his face. There were a few instances when Quatre flinched during the inspection and each time Trowa would apologize quietly and soften his caresses. It took a few minutes before the brunette was satisfied that there were no broken bones. His prodding fingertips moved upwards to sweep golden bangs back and he placed a gentle kiss to the boy's brow. “Are you going to be okay?”

Quatre turned into the kiss and melted into the hug that was offered but never removed his gaze from the ground. “We knew this was going to happen…we prepared for it. But it still hurts...!” Quatre's shoulders shook with sorrow and Trowa began rubbing his back soothingly. “Why does he hate me so much Trowa? If you hadn't been there tonight… he might have killed me, at the very least he would have hurt me worse then he ever has. I've never done anything to deserve his hatred.” Tears began to trickle down pale cheeks and soaked into the turtleneck Trowa was wearing.

Trowa hugged him tighter, continuing to rub his back supportively. “I don't know why Quatre. I doubt even he does. There probably isn't a why. What I do know is that I love you with every fiber of my being and I won't allow him to hurt you anymore. We're together now, we are family and we have a family waiting for us. We'll be okay.” Quatre looked up into Trowa's emerald eyes then nodded slowly and smiled weakly. Trowa smiled back and leaned in for a real kiss. “Let's get the hell out of here Quat, we're too good for this place and the guys are waiting for us at home.” Quatre nodded and pulled back enough to look Trowa fully in the face. The brunette winced when he saw the bruise. “You're going to have hell to deal with when we get there though. There's no way to hide this bruise.” Quatre sighed weakly and nodded as he glanced into the mirror. Trowa placed a final kiss to the blonde's brow and closed his door. Neither looked back as the SUV drove away.

True to Trowa's prediction, the bruise caused quite an uproar with the other boys. Treize had to physically restrain Wufei from storming out of the house when Quatre's abuser was reveled, and Duo began cussing up a storm but focused primarily on taking care of the blonde. Heero stood quietly in the corner with Trowa, listening to Trowa's tale of the occurrences at the Winner house as he watched Duo apply antiseptic to the wound. Once all injuries were taken care of the boys were led up to their room, which had been set up with a king size bed and all the belongings that had been in their over night bags.

On the dresser across from the canopied bed were several picture frames, consisting of family pictures and group pictures of the boys. As a special surprise, and the main highlight of the décor was a new picture of Quatre and Trowa embracing on their wedding day. Quatre smiled weakly at the arrangement, leaning heavily into Trowa's embrace. Wufei, Heero and Treize left quietly as the two looked around the room but Duo made sure to gain their attention to wish them a good night. He blew a kiss and winked with a perverted grin and succeeded in earning quiet laughter from the two boys.

When the group arrived at the school the next day news of the scandalous wedding and subsequent banishment had already spread through the student body; circulated by the Peacecraft sisters. Scathing looks were cast their way and whispers followed them through the halls. Wufei, Duo and Heero glared at anyone who did this, causing the whispers to quiet while the group was within vicinity -but it did little to kill them.

However, under the primary whispers were mumbles of a new teacher who would be partnering with Treize until his position opened the following fall. Heero and Wufei caught wind of these and automatically knew that this was the mysterious friend who would be taking the last spare room in the Kushrenada house. After making quick stops at their lockers the group made their way to the cafeteria, their current hang out since snow had covered the one they usually used outside.

“My dad cancelled the cell phone he bought me this morning; and the bank called to inform me that he tried to cancel my savings account as well.” Quatre told them as he set the now dead phone on the table. Wufei snarled under his breath as Trowa reached over and hugged the blonde. “I'm sure he even checked my room to make sure I didn't take anything too valuable.”

“Gods, your pop is the biggest asshole I've ever heard of Quat. I'm glad you're away from him now.” Quatre smiled weakly and nodded, resting his head on Trowa's shoulder. “What about your old man Tro?”

The boy shrugged as he kissed the blonde's head and rubbed his arm supportively. “My father is following in Winner's lead. He can't afford to lose his position because of my choice. My mother has refused to speak to me.”

Duo whistled and leaned back in his chair, his feet kicked up on the table. “Pieces of work, the lot of them. Makes me glad I don't have any parents.” Wufei snorted in agreement and Heero chuckled to himself. Even Quatre and Trowa managed to smile and laugh at the braided boys antics. Duo grinned in triumph.

Heero glanced down to his watch then stood up, knocking the braided boys feet off playfully. “We need to get to class.” Duo's grin disappeared and he stuck his tongue at the other boy. Quatre and Trowa left to go to English ignoring the whispers that followed them as they walked hand in hand. The remaining three walked towards the Calculus room and were met by extremely smug looking Relena at the door and she immediately made to move closer to Heero but was brought to a stop when he glared at her.

“What's the look for Heero?”

“Leave Quatre and Trowa alone Relena.”

“I haven't done a thing.”

“Keep it that way. They have suffered enough without you and your horrible sister tormenting them more.” With his two cents expressed, Heero stomped into the classroom only to stop, eyes widening in delight. Relena and the two boys followed him into the room, Relena pouting until she stopped in horror at the man who had gained all four's attention. Treize was sitting facing the door, talking to a man sitting extremely close to him facing the opposite direction. Treize laughed then looked up and grinned at the group, causing the platinum blonde to spin around and smile charmingly at the group.

“Zechs!”

“Milliardo!”

“Hello Heero, it's wonderful to see you again.” Said boy ran forward and hugged the blonde, much to Wufei's shock. Duo was too busy staring at the blonde to note Heero's altered behavior. After the embrace Zechs laughed and ruffled Heero's bangs before he glared at the other blonde in the room. “Hello Relena. Treize had mentioned that you infested this school. I must say its disappointing news.” His look was cool, matching her own. After the brief glaring contest the girl flipped her hair over her shoulder with a snaughty snort and stormed over to her seat, causing Heero to grin and Zechs to chuckle as he turned to the remaining two boys. “Now let me see if I can guess who's who based on the descriptions Treize has been giving me. You, you must be Duo, the loud and crazy one of the group.”

Duo grinned and blushed all at the same time and nodded. It was the first time Heero had ever seen the boy speechless and it made him fairly weary. Zechs gave him a once over and leaned against the desk, very close to the older teacher. “And you must be the famous Wufei.” The oriental boy's eyes narrowed and he nodded very curtly.

“You are?” Wufei snarled, glaring at the proximity between Treize and Zechs.

“This is Zechs, Treize's friend. He visited a lot when we lived in Oregon, but had to finish college when we moved out here.” Heero explained for the blonde, his smile still bright but diminished a little when he noticed that Duo had continued gawking.

Treize was smiling as well as he walked over and placed a hand on Zechs' shoulder, causing Wufei to glare even more. “Zechs was a student in my first class and soon became one of my friends. Just like you all have done and he was just as big a pain in the ass as you all are.” Zechs started laughing while protesting the older mans statement, stepping even closer. Wufei's eyes narrowed further and he crossed his arms in anger. The movement caught the notice of his lover and Treize glanced over to him, laughter dying as he saw the fierce look, but before any questions could be asked the bell rang and Wufei walked over to his desk, glaring at Treize the entire time. The other two boys followed him, Duo grinning goofily. Both were so wrapped in their own issues to realize how upset their oriental friend.

“Heero, I think I'm in love.” Duo whispered as the other student's walked into the room and the class's introductions were made. Heero's eyes widened and he turned to stare at him.

“I thought you were already in a relationship! Remember the boyfriend you don't want us to meet?” A stranger was much easier to digest then one of his best friends.

“Yeah…but…Zechs is just…” What Zechs was, was not immediately revealed as Duo started staring at the blonde once again. Heero glanced between the braided boy and Zechs, trembling and frowning in sorrowed confusion.

“Wufei, may I speak with you?” Wufei was packing up his backpack, ready to make a beeline for the front door when Treize asked that question. He glared at the teacher and leaned against his desk, crossing his arms unhappily as he watched the room empty of everyone, including his friends and Zechs. It didn't take long and both knew that it would remain vacant for the next fifteen minutes. It was the break in between classes and normally if Wufei stayed behind they would spend these few minutes talking or kissing.

Instead they stared one another down and the room filled with tension. Treize glared at the younger boy, mimicking his tense posture five feet from him. Wufei glared back, his back rigid with anger. Silence stretched between the two for what seemed like an eternity, the only sound the ticking of the clock most students stared at. It was Treize who broke the quiet. “What the hell is the matter with you Wufei? The second you stepped through that door this morning you've done nothing but glare at me and Zechs.”

“You tell me! You're the one who's getting cozy with the new teacher!”

“He's my best friend!”

“I'm sure he is!” Wufei snarled; his voice filled with poison.

Treize took a step towards the upset boy leaning on a student desk. “He is and you were incredibly rude to him and to me. I've never seen you act so distastefully to someone you just met, including his demented sisters. What is your problem today?”

“Did you sleep with him?”

Silence filled the room instantly as Treize stared at his enraged lover. “What…?” It was the only response he could think of and it was the wrong one and only angered the Chinese boy even more.

“Did you fuck him? How hard is that to understand Mr. Kushrenada? All I want to know is if you had him in your bed moaning under you. Do you just…pick a favorite student every few years and screw them? Or are we special and I'm his replacement bitch because you lost touch when he went off to college? Well!?”

Treize could only stare silently as he listened to Wufei's tirade and then the silence that followed it. The clock continued to tick each second away and two resumed staring at one another. After several minutes Wufei's eyes softened with a sudden streak of hurt and he looked down to his feet, his shoulders trembling. Treize leaned back against the desk and started laughing, causing the boy to look up angrily once again. The laughter continued for another minute or so until Treize looked over to the boy again. “You're jealous.”

Wufei's eyes widened and he snarled. “I most certainly am not!” Treize chuckled quietly and shook his head then yanked Wufei into his arms and kissed him deeply. For the first several seconds Wufei struggled against the hold and the embrace but his body surrendered as Treize manage to slip his tongue into his mouth and deepened the kiss. He didn't release him until Wufei's knees were trembling and they were both panting to catch their breath. He was still smiling.

“The answer to your accusations is no, Wufei. I have never had sex with Zechs; nor have I ever wanted to. I am a friend with him in much the same way as I am with Duo, Quatre or Trowa. I have never looked at him in the romantic way.” Treize cupped his hand against Wufei's cheek, slowly brushing his thumb over his kiss-swollen lips. “And I do not pick a favorite student to screw every few years. Before you I had never even contemplated the idea. My last boyfriend was my roommate in college.”

Wufei stared at him then blushed faintly when he realized how ridiculous he had been acting. “Oh. I…Oh.” Treize chuckled, not surprised in the least that he wouldn't be receiving an apology. He tilted Wufei's chin up so he was looking up into his eyes once again.

“I love you, Chang Wufei. You're not a quick screw, and you're no rebound tart. I love you, and plan on loving and torturing you until we're both old and gray. I'll only stop then if I lose mobility.” Wufei chuckled, causing Treize to smile even more and lean in to plant a quick kiss on the boy's lips. “Now…no more treating Zechs like the dog crap on the bottom of your shoe. He's one of my very best friends and I'd like you two to get along. But no matter what -I am yours first and foremost.”

After another kiss Wufei nodded. “Alright, I'll try; but no promises.” Treize chuckled and kissed the boy again.

“Honest to god `Fei you are the most aggravating man alive.” Wufei smirked with pride and found himself on the receiving end of another intense kiss. Treize leaned him back against the desk running his hands down his sides until the rested on the younger boys hips, causing the boy to moan into his mouth. Treize's tongue slipped into Wufei's mouth and began exploring the cavern he had long since memorized.

Neither noticed the laughing blue eyes that watched as Treize continued to ravish his student's mouth. Their eyes were closed to the world and failed to see the blinking red light that captured that most intimate of moments.

Was it worth the wait everyone? Hope so! Also I'm sure that it takes more then just dropping off a marriage license to get it finalized but for the purpose of the fic that little detail is going to be ignored. It IS an AU, and I'm using that excuse to say that it's alternate even to OUR Universe. XD Also, the wedding vows were partially taken from :
