"Are you ashamed about what happened between us?" He questioned fearing her answer. "NO! No its not that I just well didn't want my brother walking in on us. Oh I'm so embarrassed." He smiled slowly at her. She gasped his smile was gorgeous.

Sota jogged down the street focusing on anything other then the scene he saw this morning. It didn't help that Shippo was laughing at him and using every chance available to remind him of it. He remembered knocking on her door and immediately opening the door (AN my brother does this thank god for locks) Sota had been unaware that Kagome had company. It was truly a shock when the koorime had leapt out of the bed as Kagome had screamed and clutched the blankets around her. Hiei had grabbed his sword and whipped it at the door narrowly missing Sota's head. Sota had gulped and slammed the door. He shook his head remembering he was so embarrassed. Sota glanced up realizing they were at Genkai's. "Shippo I think Kagome should tell them what happened last night." He stated to the laughing kitsune. "I can't stop laughing. You should have seen your face. HA!" Shippo laughed clutching his sides. Sota wrestled Shippo to the ground; "You can't tell anyone about Kagome. She needs to tell her friends." The boys were so absorbed in the wrestling match they were unaware that Sango and Miroku had heard every word.

"What happened with Kagome, Shippo?" Sango questioned the laughing kit. "I can't tell you." Sango shook her head at the kit and stormed back into the house. Hieko never left the boys side. He telepathically communicated with Kilala and Nuka, who were busy watching Kain and Samiru. All three of them could feel it something was going to happen and it wasn't good. Sota helped Shippo into a standing position; he was beginning to find the humor in the situation. As both boys walked into the training grounds they cried out and collapsed in pain. Sango and Miroku dropped to their knees trying hard not to cry out. No one could understand what had happened to cause them to drop like that. Genkai rushed and grabbed Shippo while Yukina assisted Sota into a sitting position. Kurama and Kuwabara checked Miroku and Sango. Shippo was shaking and very pale, Sota had passed out his eyes rolling into the back of his head. Sango was clutching Miroku's shirt and was crying. Miroku was shaking but was in control of his emotions his wife needed him now he couldn't break down. Genkai looked expectantly at the group she was waiting for answers. Her answers came from the most unexpected place.

Kurama's eyes grew wide and Youko broke free from Shuiichii control. "Genkai it is the miko Kagome she has collapsed and is seemingly in pain. Hiei is panicked he tried to reach her using the jagan's eye but he says that she was unresponsive and seemed to be engaging in a battle. Her link with the monk and exterminator and her family caused them to feel her pain." Genkai looked at the kitsune demon and nodded slowly. Hiei showed up a few tension filled minutes later holding a pale trembling Kagome in his arms. He looked at Genkai is worry and concern for his mate showing in his eyes. She walked slowly to Hiei and directed him to Kagome's bedroom. Her harsh clipped voice rang through the house. "Kurama get Botan and Yusuke as well as Sesshomaru." She turned her gaze to meet Hiei's crimson gaze. "I need to know exactly what happened last night." Hiei winced at her tone but he slipped back into his stoic mask. He described the fighting that they had begun with and finished in telling her that he had marked Kagome as his mate. She turned to him and began to question him. "Did Kagome come in contact with any of your demon blood?" He looked at her startled and began to recall the night's events. Slowly he turned her right palm face up. There were several small cuts covering her palm. He looked at Genkai and began to explain. "We were sparring and I flipped Kagome over my shoulder. She landed on a pile of glass neither of us was aware it was there. I had several nicks and cuts that she touched with her open palm. It is possible that our blood mixed." "She is a miko Hiei, her miko blood is fighting your demon blood. It will be interesting to find out what happens. If her body accepts your demon blood she will be turned into a demon but if her body rejects it she will die." Genkai was planning on yelling at him for being so stupid but he let his mask slip and she saw how concerned he was for Kagome. She turned and left slowly leaving the couple alone. Hiei sat on the bed and cradled Kagome to him. He began to cry crystal tears as he felt her energy slipping away. Hiei had just found her he couldn't be losing her already.
