A/N: Work is sssssooooooo evil!!!!! *wishes she had new feet* Standing all day and helping really stupid people is giving me stress!! *tries to stop her twitching eye* I found myself daydreaming…yet again…at work and I was thinking about the next chapter. So I decided to start writing it a little earlier then I planned. I still don't have a day off till this Wednesday but it doesn't hurt to try and write some.

Chapter Thirteen

The Seals of Hitomi Revealed

Kagura stood as far away from Naraku as she could. Ever since Naraku said that he was planning a way of ridding the world of Inuyasha and the miko Kagome, Kagura had noticed that Naraku was doing things that edged on insanity. And now this. Kagura looked at the onyx crystal and the youkai contained inside. What makes you so special? I can sense the evil from you but are you really enough to beat Inuyasha?

Kagura looked at Naraku as he watched the battle between Inuyasha and his gang and the Tsunio. Naraku had a twisted smile on his face as the monk, the exterminator, her neko youkai, and Sesshoumaru were caught in the ribbons of shadows. Kagura couldn't help but think that Inuyasha and Kagome would find a way to stop the Tsunio. Suddenly Naraku yelled out angrily and Kagura grinned.

Kagome and Inuyasha were doing some sort of spell and it was working. The Tsunio were being purified. Kanna's mirror started to vibrate and an intense white light erupted from it, spending Naraku and Kanna flying in opposite directions. Naraku slowly stood up and the look on his face could have easily killed. He was beyond mad that he was calm, scarily calm. This scared Kagura more than the evil that some coming off the sealed youkai.

"Kanna I want you to find out where they are," Kanna slowly stood up and started to concentrate on her little mirror. Her eyes slowly started to close as her mirror began to glow. Sparks started to come off the mirror and Kanna yelled out in pain.

"They are in a place that is very well protected. I can not see them."

Naraku just stared at Kanna. Kagura knew what he was thinking for she was thinking the same thing. What kind of place are they in that is so well protected that Kanna's mirror can not find them?

Kagura jumps slightly as she hears a deep growling coming from Naraku. His eyes start to flash crimson. And out of sheer frustration he yells to the cave, "How can that miko Kagome defeat the Tsunio!"

Suddenly the walls come to life again. They start to hiss and shriek and Kagura can feel shivers running down her spine. She is now ordinary miko… she is powerful… she is the chosen one… you can not defeat her on your own…

"How do I defeat her? How do we defeat her!"

We do not have a physical body… give us one… use the power of the Shikon no Tama… she will not be able to withstand us… give us power… we will defeat her…

"How is a physical body and the Shikon no Tama going to make you able to defeat Kagome?"

With the power of Darkness she will not be able to withstand it… the Shikon no Tama will be tainted giving us great power… the physical body will make it so that can move freely throughout the land…

Kagura looked at Naraku as an evil grin came upon his face. Kagura knew that he was thinking of using one his detachments and she had a pretty good idea that it was going to be her. She had disobeyed him to many times to think that she would not be chosen for this little experiment.

Naraku turned around and glared at Kagura. Kagura felt her blood run cold. There was nothing in this world that she wouldn't give to have her heart back so that she could flee. Naraku just continued to stare at her and Kagura felt all warmth leaving her body. If only he would look away. If only he would chose someone else… anyone else.

Naraku opened his mouth to speak and Kagura closed her eyes. She didn't want to see the satisfied look on his face as he called her to him. "Kohaku."

Kagura's eyes flew open as she heard the name. Relief washed over Kagura in waves. He wasn't going to use her.

Kagura jumped slightly as Kohaku appeared behind her and started to walk towards Naraku. His blank eyes showing no emotion and that Naraku still had complete control over his body, mind and soul.

"Yes Naraku-sama."

Naraku turned away from Kohaku and addressed the cave once again. "This is your physical body. He has a Shikon Shard embedded in his back. Sango will let no harm come to her brother and she will not let the miko harm him. He will bring her back."

Suddenly the torches on the walls exploded sending eerie dancing blue white flames across the walls. The hissing and shrieking was becoming deafening and Kagura had to cover her ears. The shadows swirled around the ceiling of the cave creating a whirlpool of shadows. Slowly it started to descend over Kohaku like little a tornado. Kohaku vanished from sight as tornado of shadows touched down.

Kagura could barely make out the outline of Kohaku's small form. The sounds of the winds in the cave were becoming overwhelming and Kagura fell to her knees trying to block out the shrieking of the Tsunio. Kagura tried to stay conscious but suddenly lightning started to flash within the tornado and Kohaku's screams filled the cave.

The last thing Kagura saw before she lost consciousness was Kohaku's body squirming in pain.

Inuyasha felt like he was wrapped in the warm embrace. He didn't even know why he awakened. Suddenly he could hear laughter. Inuyasha slowly opened his eyes and then closed them again. Where ever he was there was a lot of light and it was bugging his eyes. Inuyasha muttered under his breath as he opened his eyes again. Suddenly he felt something damp and cool upon his forehead.

"Kagome…" Inuyasha muttered as he blinked a couple of times.

"Kagome Miko-sama is not here right now. But she will be in to see you in a few moments Inuyasha-sama."

Inuyasha nearly jumped out of his skin as he looked into a pair of bright orange eyes. Inuyasha tired to sit up but was over come by a dizzy spell and had to lie back down. He looked around the place that he was in and opened his mouth slowly in awe. He was in a very lavish looking room. Beautiful tapestry covered the walls and a window was two of the four walls. He was laying on futon that was covered in many silk pillows and silk bedding.

Inuyasha looks at that the person taking care of him. She was a very pretty youkai. She had long red hair that was braided down her back. She was wearing a type of miko robes. The shirt was a light blue and the pants were a deeper blue. Her eyes were what caught Inuyasha's attention the most. He had never seen eyes that colour before. They were the most brilliant orange. Something moved behind her and it caught his attention. Coming out of the back of her pants was a long red tail with a white tip.

The women smiled at Inuyasha and he noticed her little fangs. Inuyasha gasped as he looked at the top of her head. She had two pointed fuzzy red ears, much like his, on top of her head. The tips of her ears were also white.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Umi, Inuyasha-sama. I am a healer in the Village of Kitsune. Kagome Miko-sama asked me to watch over you while she trained. She has not left your side since you arrived here."

"How did I get here? The last thing I remember is being attacked by Tsunio."

"You and Kagome Miko-sama and your companions were very close to the village. We felt your presence and went to find you. Inuyasha-sama and Kagome Miko-sama purified the Tsunio and when you both collapsed we brought you here incase they attacked you again."

"And what makes you think that they will not attack us while we are in your village?"

"They are not able to find us here. There is a very powerful kekkai that is sealing this village from anyone who has an evil heart. It was placed over the village as a part of the Seals of Hitomi Miko-sama."

Suddenly the door slides open and Inuyasha looked over at it. Shippo and Rin were both standing in the doorway. Shippo grinned and ran full force at Inuyasha and tackled him, laughing, crying and thanking Kami that Inuyasha was alright. Rin comes in and slides the door close. She walks over to Inuyasha and knees down smiling at him.

"Oi runt knock it off!" grunted Inuyasha as he tried to get Shippo to let him go.

"Kagome has been so worried for you! She has barely left your side and it is only when Aiko-sama drags her away does she leave your side." Shippo finally let go of Inuyasha and sat on his chest.

"Keh! There's no need to worry over me. I have only been asleep for a day! I have lived through much worse then this."

"Inuyasha you have been unconscious for almost four whole days!"

Inuyasha just stared at Shippo at a complete loss for words. I have been out for four days?! What the hell happened to me?!

Just then the door opened again and a familiar sweet scent waffles in. "Miroku-sama I know what Aiko-sama said I told him that I want to be with Inuyasha. I will eat something later."

Inuyasha grins to himself at what Kagome just said. He notices that she is now dressed, yet again, in different clothes. She is wearing miko clothes but the shirt is a soft off white with sakura petals running down the arms and the pants are a deep fuchsia which match the petals perfectly. Her hair is tied back with a fuchsia ribbon and sweat is lightly beaded over her face, neck and the little of her collar bones that aren't covered by the shirt.

Kagome slowly turned around and entered the run and slid the door closed behind her. Inuyasha watched as Kagome almost fell over from surprise. "Inu.. Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha grinned as he slowly sat up. He picked Shippo up and placed him beside Rin as he stared at Kagome. She looks even more beautiful. What is in her hair though? It looks like silver ribbons.

Inuyasha didn't have much time to think about it any longer before Kagome was running towards him, tears streaming down her cheeks, and flinging herself on top of him. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome and embraced her tightly to him. He breathed in her sweet scent that was mixed with her sweat and sighed to himself. God did he love that sweet smell. His Kagome.

Kagome pulled away and looked at Inuyasha. Inuyasha reached up and wiped away her tears with his thumb. Kagome turned and looked at Umi who instantly bowed to her. "Umi I asked you to come and get me the minute Inuyasha awoke if I was not here."

"Kagome Miko-sama Inuyasha-sama just awoke. I was going to come and get you once he had regained some of his strength."

"Shippo-chan, Rin, Umi would you three place leave Inuyasha and I. I would like to talk to him alone."

"Sure Kagome." said Shippo as he Rin and Umi all stood up and left the room. Inuyasha watched Kagome as she watched them leave and turned back to Inuyasha once the door had slid shut.

Kagome couldn't seem to get herself to stop crying. Kagome stared into Inuyasha's bright golden eyes and sighed softly to herself as a smile spread across her face. Inuyasha pulled Kagome to him and held her tightly to him. Kagome wrapped her arms around him and held him close to her. Inuyasha rubbed Kagome back whispering sweet nothings in her ear trying to get her to relax.

"Inuyasha I am so thankful that you are finally awake. I was so worried about you. No matter what I did I couldn't get you to wake up and it was all my fault."

"This was not your fault Kagome. It's not like you asked the Tsunio to come and attack us. So don't blame yourself."

Kagome pulled away from Inuyasha and looked him in the face. Inuyasha looked at Kagome with a quizzical look as he reached up and ran his hand slowly through her hair. "Are these ribbons Kagome? They feel like your silky hair but you don't have silver hair."

Kagome suddenly gasped as she remembered that she now had silver streaks in her hair. It had freaked her out the first time that she had seen them too. Kagome bit her lip trying to think of how to word it. "These silver streaks in my hair were caused by your youki Inuyasha."

Inuyasha gasped and Kagome placed a finger over his mouth. "It is not your fault. Aiko-sama said that they will vanish in a few more days. Though I kind of like them." Kagome reached up and ran her hand over her hair. "It is my fault that my hair is like this and it is my fault to you were unconscious for four days and it is my fault that… that…"

Inuyasha raised an eyebrow to Kagome. Kagome let out a calming breath as she stood up and walked over to the far side of the room and picked up Tessaiga. Kagome walked back over to Inuyasha and handed him Tessaiga. "I'm sorry Inuyasha."

Inuyasha looked at Kagome as she hung her head and avoided his gaze. Please don't be mad at me Inuyasha. I didn't know that this would happen. It was the only thing I could think of at the time. Kagome heard Inuyasha unsheathe Tessaiga and his gasp. Kagome hung her head even more and hid her eyes behind her bangs.

"Tessaiga…"

"Gomen! Gomen nasai!!!! Oh Inuyasha I didn't mean to do it! It was the only thing I could think of at the time…"

Kagome was cut off as Inuyasha whistled low and long. Kagome looked up and her jaw dropped in awe. She could feel the new power coming off of Tessaiga. It was glowing slightly and around the base of the blade was the design that their blood had created on the blade.

"Kagome this is amazing! Tessaiga feels even more powerful then before! What happened to it?!"

"You mean you're not mad at what happened to Tessaiga?"

"Are you crazy!" Inuyasha looked at Kagome and grinned, "What ever we did in the clearing has made Tessaiga even more powerful. What did we do?"

"I used a very ancient miko sealing spell. They were so many Tsunio that I knew that I couldn't purify them all with my power alone. So I used your youki… I'm so sorry Inuyasha I should have asked you first. I would never have done it if I knew that you were going to get so weak from it. And when Aiko-sama said that you could have died…"

Kagome bowed her head and started to cry again. How could I have been so stupid! I didn't even think of what I was doing. I could have killed Inuyasha! As it was I weakened him so much that he was actually unconscious for almost four days! Kagome was so deep in thought that she didn't even notice that Inuyasha had sheathed Tessaiga and was slowly lifting her chin to meet his gaze.

"Kagome listen to me because I'm only going to say this once," Kagome nodded slowly and locked her eyes with his, "This was not your fault. And if it happened all over again I would do it again if it meant that I was going to kept you with me. So stop blaming yourself."

Kagome sniffed and nodded. Inuyasha isn't mad at me! Kagome flung herself forward and pressed her lips against his. Inuyasha was caught off guard by her boldness but she soon felt him returning the kiss passionately. Kagome felt Inuyasha licking and nipping at her lower lip wishing entrance into her mouth. Kagome opened her mouth and felt Inuyasha's tongue tasting her mouth. Kagome slowly moved her tongue and tasted Inuyasha's. Kagome grinned internally as Inuyasha moaned. Kagome slowly started to rub her tongue against his and soon it was an all out battle for dominance.

Kagome and Inuyasha broke from the kiss both panting for air. Kagome gasped as she felt Inuyasha's mouth kissing along her jaw line. Kagome gripped onto Inuyasha's shoulders as he slowly made his way down her jaw line and was now kissing, sucking and nipping all over her neck. Kagome moaned out and slowly reached up and started to massage his ear between her finger and thumb. Inuyasha growled approvingly at Kagome's ministrations.

Kagome moaned out as Inuyasha reached her jugular and sucked her flesh into his mouth. Kagome could feel his fangs running over her sensitive skin and she felt a strange tingling in her lower regions. Kagome couldn't believe how good it felt. She didn't even notice that Inuyasha was slowly pulling open her shirt. Inuyasha trailed kissing from her neck over her collar bones sending shivers down her entire body.

Kagome moaned out Inuyasha's name as he open mouth kissed her should and nipped at them with his fang. Kagome lowered her head and pulled Inuyasha's soft fuzzy ear into her mouth. With her tongue Kagome slowly sucked on the tip of his ear. Slowly and very teasingly she ran her tongue over the soft pink flesh of his ear.

"Kagome… gods… what are you…" Inuyasha started a deep growling inside his chest as Kagome continued to tease his ear with her tongue. Inuyasha stopped opening her shirt as he reached just above her breasts. Kagome knew that Inuyasha had lost all thoughts in his head as she teased his ear. Kagome took this opportunity and with her other hand she reached up and started to rub his other ear.

Kagome smiled as Inuyasha gasped. He wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled into her chest. Kagome slowly racked her teeth over the edges of his ear and then ran her tongue over it. Kagome gasped out as Inuyasha bite the top of breast and sent waves of shivers throughout her body. The tingling in her lower region felt in was pulsating and she wanted Inuyasha and she wanted him now.

Inuyasha slowly looked up at Kagome, his eyes glazed over in pure ecstasy. "Kagome…" Inuyasha husky voice sent another wave of tingling sensations throughout her body. "I need you… I want you…"

"Inuyasha…" Kagome leaned down and gently kissed his lips. "I want you too…"

Inuyasha growled and pinned her under him. Kagome gasped at his forcefulness but she needed him. She had wanted him for so long. Now he wanted her and they could be together forever.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." came a cold emotionless voice. Kagome screamed and rolled away from Inuyasha trying to cover herself up. Her face was extremely warm from embarrassment. Inuyasha was growling as he blocked Kagome from the intruders view.

"Sesshoumaru!"

Sesshoumaru had slowly opened the door. He had heard moaning coming from inside the room. Inuyasha you baka what do you think you are doing? What met Sesshoumaru's eyes had confirmed his suspensions. Inuyasha was lying on top of Kagome and they looked like they were about to mate. Sesshoumaru could not let that happen. Not when they had come so far.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Kagome screamed and rolled away from Inuyasha trying to cover herself up. Her face was extremely warm from embarrassment. Sesshoumaru watched as Inuyasha hid her from his view.

"Sesshoumaru!" Inuyasha growled angrily. "What hell do you want and have you ever heard of knocking!" Kagome stood up with her back to Sesshoumaru as she tugged her shirt over her shoulders.

"Umi found me and told me that you had awakened. I wished to speak with you so I came. Kagome would excuse Inuyasha and I?"

Kagome turned around and walked towards Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru could tell that she was quiet embarrassed at being interrupted and he could also smell her anger and frustration. Once the door slid open and Kagome had left Sesshoumaru waited until he could no longer smell her before he continued.

"Inuyasha I want you to listen to what I have to say and obey it."

"Keh! Like I'm going to obey anything that you have to say!"

Sesshoumaru took a few steps forward and glared at Inuyasha. "As stubborn as always. This you will obey I will I kill you."

Inuyasha raised an eyebrow to Sesshoumaru and he took it as he was listening, "You must not mate with the miko Kagome." Inuyasha was about to say something but Sesshoumaru held up his hand, "You will listen not speak Inuyasha. If you mate with her you are contemning us all to a life of darkness and chaos. What I am about to reveal to you is not known to anyone, save Yuki-chan."

"When Hitomi started to process of sealing away Ryuzaburo she made it so that not just anyone could unseal them. Otherwise youkai, humans, or hanyous with strong powers could break them. She made it so that only one person could unseal Yuki-chan and Sorano. And that one person is Kagome. However Kagome has to be pure of heart, pure of soul and pure of body. Meaning Inuyasha that if you mate Kagome then the seals on Sorano and Yuki-chan will become permanent.'

"So until her job is complete I can not allow you to mate her. I will kill you if need be. Ryuzaburo's seal can be broken by other means but Yuki-chan's and Sorano's seals have to be unsealed by Kagome and she has to be a virgin. So control yourself around her or stay away from her. I don't care as long as you do not mate her."

With that said Sesshoumaru turned around and walked towards the door. He slowly slid it open and walked out into the hall and closed the door behind him. He knew that he had left Inuyasha dumbfounded but he needed to be told and the sooner the better. At least with being told he should be able to control himself.

Sesshoumaru turned and started to walk down the hall. Sesshoumaru sniffed the air and a familiar human scent hit him. Sesshoumaru walked around a corner and can face to face with Aiko. Aiko was a tall human. He had long grey hair that was neatly pulled back and tied into a pony tail. Sesshoumaru noticed that he still had the boyish face that he had from sixty years ago but now it had a few creases and lines from the many years of training and caring for the village.

He was wearing very beautiful robes that showed that he was the high priest of the village. His haori was white with a fox embroidered on it. His pants were a deep red with two white stripes around the bottom. Around his neck he wore a medallion of a ruby fox. But what caught Sesshoumaru's attention about the man before him had a very strong pure aura and his soft pale blue eyes twinkled mysteriously.

"Ah Sesshoumaru-sama I have been looking for you. I have heard that Inuyasha-sama has awakened. I was on my way to see if you had heard. But since you are coming from that direction I take it that you have spoken with your brother."

Sesshoumaru resided the urge to correct the priest on his choose of words. "Yes I have spoken with Inuyasha."

"Then he knows?"

Sesshoumaru nodded. "Good. Now then Sesshoumaru-sama if I may have a few words with you?" Sesshoumaru nodded again and Aiko turned and started to walk down the hall. Sesshoumaru followed after Aiko as they walked down the hall and towards the exit. Sesshoumaru had always enjoyed talking with Aiko. He was very wise and had matured a lot since they had last met.

Once outside Sesshoumaru followed Aiko into the sweeping courtyard of the manor that they had been staying in. Aiko entered into the gardens and started to walk down the stony paths that were laid out before them. Sesshoumaru was amazed that the beauty of the gardens. They matched his gardens at the castle of the West. Statues of past priests, mikos, and kitsune lined the walk way. Aiko was walking towards a great wall of hedges.

Sesshoumaru was wondering where Aiko was lending him until he reached the hedge and started to chant something. The hedge glowed a bright green and melted away into an archway lending into another part of the gardens that Sesshoumaru had never been to. He had not even noticed that a kekkai and a concealment spell had been placed upon the hedge. Sesshoumaru was pulled from his thoughts when Aiko started to walk through the archway. Once Sesshoumaru was through the archway it lit up and became solid once again.

Aiko and Sesshoumaru walked further into the secret garden until they came upon a great statue that was surrounded by hedges of roses. The sweet smell washed over him and he was reminded of Hitomi.

"Sesshoumaru-sama you are probably wondering why I have broughten you here. Well look at this statue and it may become clear to you."

Sesshoumaru walked up beside Aiko and looked at the statue. Sesshoumaru eyes widened momentarily as he gazed upon the statue. It was a beautiful statue of Hitomi and Sorano. They were standing back to back and they were both wearing their armor. Hitomi held one hand straight out while the other was held graceful above her head. Sorano had both hands lifted before her and a smile was upon her face.

"Sesshoumaru-sama I knew that this day would come but I did not think that I would be alive when it happened. Though my son is fully aware of all the acts of the past I was hoping that I would be alive so that I could lay my eyes upon the beautiful Sorano one more time.'

"Sesshoumaru-sama time is against you and I must tell you all that I know before it is too late. I know that you were informed about many things that concerned Hitomi Miko-sama's seals but there are some things that I know that you are not aware of. First off you, Inuyasha-sama, Shippo and Kirara will not be able to go to the shrine where Yuki-chan is sealed.'

Sesshoumaru tore his gaze away from his Sorano and looked at Aiko. "Sesshoumaru-sama in order to keep youkai away from the shrine Hitomi Miko-sama placed very power purifying scrolls throughout the area. Even I am unsure of where they all are. You would surely be purified if you tried to get near them. I will lead Kagome Miko-sama to the shrine at first light tomorrow and by the time the sun is high in sky Yuki-chan will be unsealed."

"However the Seals of Hitomi have been changed. A powerful youkai has been trying to unseal Ryuzaburo and thus he has changed the seals that Hitomi Miko-sama has placed. They are now visible to all eyes. Sesshoumaru-sama this means that anyone can find the other three items of darkness that are needed to unseal Sorano and any youkai could find the shrine that Sorano is being kept in. Time was against you before and now the world is against you as well. Youkai will be coming to claim the items of darkness and they will be coming to try and claim Sorano as well."

Sesshoumaru felt his blood boil. No one claimed his Sorano. She was his and he would kill any youkai that dared to touch what was his. He would not let such a thing to happen.

"Sesshoumaru-sama a great evil comes this way!" Sesshoumaru looked at Aiko and saw that he was glancing back the way that they had just come. Sesshoumaru sniffed the air and growled.

"That little brat is coming."

A/N: Oh my goodness I need to go to bed!! It is almost one in the morning. But I finished the chapter. I'm sorry about not updating sooner but I have been really busy with work. Linzee has finished editing chapter 1-3 and when I get a chance I will post them.
