A/N: I really hate my computer right now. It is being a pain in the ass. It deleted some of my files and I had to re-write this chapter because every time I went to write more to it the damn computer said that the file was not valid. *ggggggggrrrrrrrrr*

Chapter Fourteen

Yuki-chan of the White

It hadn't taken long for Kagome to fall in love with the village. It was so beautiful and had so much power flowing through the air that she felt calm and relaxed. The village was situated between the beautiful mountains and a lust forest. The village was a lot larger then any of the other villages that Kagome had been to so far and the huts and shrines were better built. But what Kagome loved the most about this village was the sweeping meadows that lead to the village. And right now she was sitting in that very meadow with Sango, Miroku, Kirara, Shippo, and Rin.

Sango was talking with Miroku about the training that he had been going through with Aiko. Miroku was glad to tell Sango all about the training routine that he and Kagome had to go through. However Kagome, herself, wasn't paying very much attention. She was half listening to Miroku, half watching Shippo and Rin playing tag, and half thinking about her time that was interrupted with Inuyasha.

Kagome sighed softly to herself as she remembered the soft yet firm feel of Inuyasha's lips against hers. She had completely melted into him. She wanted him and he wanted her. But would I have gone all the way with Inuyasha if Sesshoumaru hadn't irrupted? Would I have had sex with Inuyasha? Kagome furled her brow as she continued to think about it.

"Kagome-chan?" Kagome was still deep in thought that she never heard Sango calling out to her. "Kagome-chan are you okay?"

"Humm?" Kagome blinked a few times to get the image of Inuyasha out of her head. "Gomen Sango-chan. I wasn't listening."

"I was asking you about your training. How is it going?"

"Oh! It is going great. Aiko-sama has helped me a lot since we arrived here. I have already completed the first three scrolls that Kaeda-obaja gave to me. However Aiko-sama said that the final scroll will be the hardest test for me."

"Oh really and why is that Kagome-chan?"

"I don't know every time I ask him about he says `You will learn in due time' and then walks off."

"Houshi-sama do you know why Kagome-chan will have problems with the last scroll?" Sango turned her attention back to Miroku, as did Kagome.

"I can not say for certain. All I know is that the first three scrolls were powerful. And Kagome-sama I am very proud of you for mastering them as quickly as you did. But it seems that each scroll has a different power and the three that Kagome-sama has already mastered are ones that all Mikos learned throughout their training routine. I believe that the final scroll must have something contained with in it that only Kagome-sama can do because she is the Sacred Miko."

"That does make a lot of sense Miroku-sama but I still don't see why Aiko-sama had to keep it. I mean I should be training as hard as I can and if he has the scroll how am I to continue my training?" Kagome was getting frustrated with it. With it all actually. Everything is happening so fast and I don't even know what is going on any more. I feel like I am a puppet and that the puppeteer is just having fun with me before the big finale.

"Kagome-chan you need a break. If you keep training the way have been your going to wear yourself out and then if we are attacked by youkai or the Tsunio again then you will hurt or worse."

"I know Sango-chan but we just don't have the time. Naraku isn't going to stop until he has unsealed Ryuzaburo and if we don't unseal Sorano first then we will all be destroyed. I guess I just have a lot on my mind and just want one thing to make sense."

Sango reached over on placed her hand lightly on Kagome's. Kagome sighed and looked into Sango's big brown concerned filled eyes. "Kagome-chan what is really bothering you?"

Kagome bit her lip and tried to think of how to put it to Sango. Kagome heard a slight cough to her side and looked over at Miroku who had a lecherous smile on his face, Kagome blushed slightly. Of course Miroku-sama would figure it out! Kagome stood up and pulled Sango up as well.

"Sango-chan we need to talk," Kagome started to lead Sango away from Miroku, Shippo, Rin and Kirara. Miroku made to stand and follow but the dagger fill glared that Sango gave him made him sit right back down.

Kagome lead Sango into the forest. She made sure that they were just outside the kekkai that protected the village. Miroku wouldn't come out that far and Kagome wanted to be away from the power of the village for awhile. Kagome lead Sango to one of the largest trees and sat down leaning her back against the trunk. Sango sat opposite to her and looked at her with concern once again present in her eyes.

"Kagome-chan what is wrong?"

Kagome sighed slightly and steadied herself. Sango was her best friend and she knew that what she told her she wouldn't hold it against her and she wouldn't tell a soul. Kagome opened her mouth and started to tell Sango all about her newly found relationship with Inuyasha. Sango stayed quiet for the whole thing of which Kagome was grateful. If Sango interrupted her she would probably stop telling her everything that had happened between her and Inuyasha.

"And then Sesshoumaru walked in and told us that we shouldn't be doing what we were doing. I was so embarrassed Sango-chan! I was so thankful that Sesshoumaru wished to talk to Inuyasha alone that I didn't even say anything to either of them before I left." Kagome took a few steadying breathes as Sango sat there letting it all sink in.

"Kagome-chan were you going to mate with Inuyasha?"

"I don't know Sango-chan! Everything inside of me wanted Inuyasha and wanted him right then. But now that I think back to it I didn't think of using protection. What if I got pregnant?"

"I don't know what "protection" you are talking about but I don't think you would have to worry about getting pregnant. Kagome-chan do you what it means to `mate'?"

Kagome blinked a few times at Sango, "You mean to have sex?"

Sango shook her head slightly. "No Kagome-chan I don't mean sex I mean `mate'. Youkai and hanyou `mate' and humans have sex."

"There is a difference?" Kagome was getting confused.

"A big difference Kagome-chan. When Youkai and hanyou `mate' they `mate' for life. You will belong to Inuyasha Kagome-chan. You will be his and only his."

"I'm not property Sango-chan! I am a living breathing person."

"I know that Kagome-chan but it will not matter. Once you are marked you become Inuyasha's and only Inuyasha's."

"Marked? I'm confused? You mean like a dog marking his territory?"

"Umm… yeah but not in the same fashion. I'm surprised that Inuyasha did not tell you this…"

"Well Sango-chan maybe Inuyasha doesn't know this and it will only show up during `mating'. I… kind of don't think I could have this conversation with Inuyasha. He would try to be all unemotional and he would just state the facts and that would be the end of it."

"Yeah that's true when speaking of Inuyasha. Alright Kagome-chan I will try my best to tell you about it. But keep in mind that I was told from other exterminators and I don't know all the facts about it other."

Kagome got more comfortable against the tree trunk as Sango closed her eyes. Kagome was guessing that she was trying to think of where to begin. Sango took a deep breath, opened her eyes and started to explain, "Well as we both know Inuyasha is an Inu hanyou so his `mating' style with be that of an Inu youkai. Inu youkai `mate' for life as do most youkai but to be mated to an Inu youkai means that you are now theirs and only theirs. Inu youkai are very possesses. As Inuyasha can get whenever Kouga is around and he goes near you.'

`There are three stages of `mating' with an Inu youkai. The first is a blood bond. This bond makes it so that you can feel the physical aspects of your mate. So if you or Inuyasha is physically wounded the other would feel it. It is usually shared from palm to palm. The second is a physical mark. In other words Kagome-chan Inuyasha is going to bite you." Kagome gasped and Sango held up her hand.

"Don't worry Kagome-chan I have heard that it is not painful. Actually it is said to be extremely pleasurable. Inu youkai usually mark the female where the neck meets the shoulder." Sango reached her hand up and showed Kagome, on herself, where the mark would be.

"Okay Sango-chan I get the first two stages of the mating and I'm pretty sure I can guess the last stage," Kagome could feel her face getting warm. She couldn't get over the fact that she was sitting in the forest talking casually with Sango about mating with Inuyasha.

"Well yes Kagome-chan the last stage as you can guess is sex. But there is a few more things that bond you to your mate forever," Kagome watched as Sango's face was becoming steadily more and more red.

"It's okay Sango-chan. It is just you and me talking and you don't have to worry about Miroku-sama making any comments," Kagome grinned when Sango giggled.

"You're right Kagome-chan! Okay here goes," Sango took a steadying breathe and continued, "Well the Inu youkai re-open the wounds on the palms and start the blood bond again. Once, the two of you can feel each other, the Inu youkai will… ummm… quicken the pace… until the female is near her climax. Once she is near it the Inu youkai will bite down hard and deep on the mark on her neck which will cause both of them to climax making them bonded by blood, heart, and soul."

Kagome sat there completely red in the face. Sango was the same shade of red if not even more. Kagome couldn't even seem to find her voice. All that will happen if I mate with Inuyasha. I will become his and his alone. I will be able to feel Inuyasha anywhere I am. Kagome suddenly stood up and looked into the forest. Sango shrieked out of surprise.

"Sango-chan I sense a Shikon Shard coming towards us!"

Sesshoumaru growled at the thought of that brat being this close to the village. He tried to ignore the quizzical looks that he was getting from Aiko.

"Sesshoumaru what is it that you smell? I do not have your senses and I can not tell who this `brat' is. Is he a threat?"

"I speak of a young boy who is a puppet for the youkai named Naraku. I believe that Kagome has told you about Naraku during your training sections with her." Sesshoumaru half glanced at Aiko as he nodded. "This boy tried to kill Rin and because of Inuyasha I spared the boy's life. It seems now that that was a mistake and he is coming towards the village and at great speed."

"What is it that you wish for us to do Sesshoumaru?" Aiko walked a little forward and stood beside Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru still couldn't believe how much Aiko had grown over the past sixty years. He was but a boy last he saw him, full of life and not a worry in the world and now he was the head of the village and was a very powerful priest.

"I wish for you to gather the Kitsune and re-enforce the kekkai that is surrounding the village. I will find Kagome and you will lead her to Yuki-chan. It can no longer wait till morning. She will have to be unsealed now. There is a strange odor mixed with the boy's scent and I do not like it."

Aiko bowed and started to leave the secret garden in which they were in. "Sesshoumaru make sure that you find Kagome miko-sama as fast as you can. I know what it is that you smell on the boy. It is the evil aura of the Tsunio. They are with the boy and if Kagome miko-sama is taken then all hope is lost."

Aiko reached the hedge and placed his hand upon the brush. The hedge melted away and created the archway that lead back the other gardens and to the shrine. Sesshoumaru nodded to Aiko and ran past him as a mere blur. So the Tsunio are with the brat. Then that means that this battle is finally beginning. I must find the miko and quickly.

Sesshoumaru leapt gracefully from the garden and ran towards the shrine. A few kitsune screamed at his sudden appearance and disappearance. Sesshoumaru could see the sliding door of the shrine and was about to leap over the shrine when the door slide open and Inuyasha exited the shrine looking rather angry.

Sesshoumaru slid to a stop and grinned slightly at the startled look on Inuyasha's face. Inuyasha recovered quickly and glared at him.

"We need to talk!" Inuyasha's voice was laced with anger.

"I do not have time to talk with you Inuyasha. I have told you what I needed to say and I will not discuss this any further."

"Oh yes you will! I will not let you tell me what I can and can not do! I will do as I please and if I want to mate with Kago…" A blood curdling scream echoed throughout the village. Sesshoumaru knew that voice. Suddenly Inuyasha yelled out in pain and grabbed his shoulder.

"Kagome…"

Sesshoumaru's eyes widened in shock for only a moment before his ice like features returned. However he was not able to hide the concern in his voice. "What is wrong with Kagome? Where is she?"

Inuyasha fell to the ground still grabbing at his shoulder. "She is hurt. Something happened. She is not alone. I think… I… know Sango is with her. But something is not right."

Sesshoumaru grabbed Inuyasha by his other shoulder and pulled him roughly into the air. "Where is she?"

Inuyasha opened his eyes slightly and glared at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru was getting more then a little angry with Inuyasha. Tell me where she is now or all is lost! Sesshoumaru just glared back at Inuyasha keeping his inner most thought's emotions from spreading across his angelic face.

"She is outside the kekkai of the village. But she is running towards us." Sesshoumaru let go of Inuyasha and leapt up on the roof of the shrine before Inuyasha even landed on the ground. He jumped over the peak of the roof and landed on the sloping front garden of the shrine before taking off in the direction of his human "companions" scents.

As Sesshoumaru ran through the village curious eyes peeked at him from half closed windows, open door ways, children playing in the lanes and the humans that couldn't fully see him but the wind that was coming off of his disappearing form caused them to look in his direction. Sesshoumaru could smell the monk and the children in the meadows that stretched out before the village.

Sesshoumaru gasped at the sight before him. He slowed down and came to a stop a few feet before the monk, who did not even know that he was there. The sky, which moments earlier were crystal blue with dots of white clouds, was now growing pitch black. The darkness was creeping into the sky in swirling clouds of black mist. It was coming from the forest.

Sesshoumaru peeled his eyes away from the darkening sky as a flash of fuchsia light blazed through the forest. Sesshoumaru saw two small figures slowly making their way towards them. Sesshoumaru squinted his eyes and sighed in relief as his youkai eyes saw that it was Kagome and the exterminator running towards them.

"Kagome!!" Sesshoumaru turned around and saw Inuyasha running towards them. Sesshoumaru watched as Inuyasha ran right past him and towards Kagome and the other human girl. Inuyasha had Kagome climb onto his back and they ran, full out, towards himself and the monk.

The scent of blood hit Sesshoumaru's nose and he growled. Inuyasha stopped just in front of the monk and placed Kagome on the ground. She had a rather ugly gash on her right shoulder. Sesshoumaru sniffed the air again and realized the wound looked a lot worse then it actually was.

"Kagome-sama are you alright?" asked the monk as he kneed down and looked at her wound.

"I am perfectly alright Miroku-sama… but… Sango-chan isn't… could you…?" Sesshoumaru followed Kagome's line of vision and was soon looking upon the youkai exterminator. She was completely white in the face and silent tears were running down her face.

"Sango what happened?" the monk stood up and walked over to the human girl. Suddenly she threw her arms around the monk's neck and started to cry even more. "Sango it's alright. I'm here for you." All the human did was cry even more. Sesshoumaru was getting a little more then impatient.

"Kagome what happened?" Sesshoumaru returned his gaze back to Kagome and Inuyasha, who was holding Kagome in his lap as he looked into her eyes.

Kagome took a few steadying breathes and stated, "We were sitting in the forest talking when I sensed a Shikon Shard coming towards us. But I couldn't sense the life force that the Shikon Shard was with. That's when Kohaku came out of the forest and stood before us. Before I even had time to react he attacked us and I got hit in the shoulder. Before we even knew it Tsunio were coming out of the shadows and were trying to grab us. We barely made it back within the kekkai."

"Tsunio have never been this close to the village before." Everyone jumped at the sudden voice that was coming from behind Sesshoumaru. Well everyone jumped except Sesshoumaru who had smelt Aiko approaching.

"Aiko-sama there are so many of them in the forest. How is the kekkai going to hold up against them?"

Aiko walked from behind Sesshoumaru and knelt before Kagome. He slowly raised his hand and placed it over the wound on Kagome's shoulder. Kagome's eye rolled back into her head as a deep green light emitted from Aiko's hand and flowed over the wound healing it.

Once Aiko removed his hand the wound was completely gone and only a rip in Kagome's kimono was left. "The kekkai will hold Kagome miko-sama. The Kitsune of the village will make sure of it. However as long as you are here they will not stop attacking until they either the kekkai is destroyed or you are taken."

"I will never let them have her!" Inuyasha yelled and Aiko just raised his hand.

"I will not let them take Kagome miko-sama either Inuyasha. That is why Kagome miko-sama and I need to leave for the seal of Yuki-chan right away. It is the only way to make the Tsunio stop attacking."

"I am coming as well," Inuyasha stood up, bringing Kagome with him, and stood before Aiko.

"Inuyasha you can not go with them," Sesshoumaru stated and ignored the growl coming from his brother, "No youkai can step foot near the seal or the shrine that encloses Yuki-chan. If you get anywhere near it it will kill you. Hitomi set up very powerful scrolls so that youkai could not get inside or near the shrine."

"Inuyasha is it going to be alright. I will be fine. I have to do this. It is the only way to save the village and we need to unseal Yuki-chan." Kagome gently pushed away from Inuyasha and walked towards Aiko. When Inuyasha made to grab at Kagome Sesshoumaru, using his youkai speed was between them.

"Inuyasha listen to her. She will be fine and you have other things to worry about."

"Keh!" Inuyasha crossed his arms and looked away from Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru had to fight the urge to kill him right then and there.

"Sesshoumaru the Kitsune will listen to you. I have six miko's working on enforcing the kekkai. The Kitsune will use their kitsune-bi to create light so that the Tsunio will not be able to make ground on you. Remember Sesshoumaru that no physical weapon can hurt them but your youki might be able to do some damage."

Sesshoumaru nodded and turned to face the Kitsune that were standing a few feet behind Aiko. They were all wearing armor and, by the looks of them, they all appeared to be around Inuyasha's age or slightly older. They would not be experienced in combat but they were young and there stamina would be a great asset.

"Come Kagome miko-sama will leave at once."

Kagome looked one finally time at Inuyasha and smiled. Don't worry Inuyasha I will be alright. Nothing will keep us apart. Kagome turned her attention back to Aiko and he raised his hand into the air. The wind picked up and whipped her hair around. Kagome closed her eyes as her hair whipped into them. Suddenly the wind stopped and Kagome gasped at what she saw. Standing before them was Aun.

"Aun my dear friend I am of need of your services for a time." Aiko reached up and gently patted the head of the dragon youkai. Aun growled contently and motioned with his head to climb on. "Come Kagome miko-sama we need to leave at once." Aiko walked over to Aun's side and jumped on. Kagome couldn't help but be surprised. Aiko was after all over sixty years old and yet he didn't act like it.

Kagome walked over to Aun and climbed on behind Aiko. Kagome gently placed her hands on the sides of Aiko as Aun roared and leapt into the air and took off towards the north east. Kagome gasped and grabbed around Aiko's waist.

"Aiko-sama where is it that we are heading?" Kagome yelled over the wind.

"Yuki-chan is sealed away to the north east of the village. Her shrine is just inside the kekkai but it is heavily guarded by purifying scrolls. I do not even know where they are all located. We will be flying on Aun until we are about hundred feet away from the entrance. Aun is able to withstand the power of the purifying scrolls better then any other youkai."

"Why is that Aiko-sama?" Kagome's eyes started to water because of the harshness of the wind.

"Aun is a dragon youkai and their skin makes it a lot harder for miko power's to penetrate. So Aun is the only one that could get us here this fast."

Kagome felt Aun starting to decrease his speed and descend towards the earth. When the wind had ceased enough Kagome slowly opened her eyes and her jaw dropped at the slight before her. They were at the base of the mountains standing just outside a thin line of thick and lust trees. Flowers were dotted here and there and their fresh scent helped to calm Kagome down.

Kagome jumped when Aun yelped out and backed away from Aiko and Kagome. Kagome quickly looked over at Aun and saw why. He was burned in a few little spots and smoke was slowly rising off of other parts of his body.

"Return to Sesshoumaru Aun. It is no longer safe for you here. We will be fine. You must help the others in protecting the village from the Tsunio." Aiko placed a hand each of the dragon's head and Aun nodded slightly before turning around and taking off into the darkening skies. "Come Kagome miko-sama. There is no more time left."

Kagome withdraw her eyes from the quickly disappearing form of Aun and followed after Aiko as he quickly walked into the forest that led to the mountains. Kagome looked all over the forest as they quickly walked. The trees were humming with an ancient power and little multi coloured lights danced around them as if leading them on.

"These lights are the memories of Yuki-chan. They have stayed here because Yuki-chan never had an evil thought or memory. Once Yuki-chan is unsealed these memories will return to their master."

"Why were the memories removed in the first place?" Kagome asked as the path dipped and lead off to the left.

"As you are aware that the memories of Sorano were removed because she had some bad memories that made it difficult for Hitomi miko-sama to seal; the same goes for Yuki-chan except that her memories where to pure to seal away."

Kagome opened her mouth to reply but was silenced at what she saw next. The trees had thinned and the path was now lined with white marble pillars. The pillars were carved to look like the true forms of Kitsune. The path, which was mere earth before, was now paved with the same white marble steeping stones. Beautiful flowers, shrubs and sakura trees lined the walk way. Kagome followed Aiko as he made his way towards an opening in the mountain face. The archway looked like Kitsune who where battling and the engravings were also made of the same white marble.

Aiko stopped just at the entrance of the mountain. Kagome stopped just beside him. "Kagome miko-sama can you see an opening in the mountain?"

Kagome raised an eyebrow at Aiko as if he was asking a stupid question. "Yes of course I can see the opening just the same as you. It is right before us."

Aiko smiled, "Kagome miko-sama I can not see the entrance. Hitomi miko-sama made it so that only the Sacred Miko would be able to see the opening and only the Sacred Miko would be able to enter the mountain."

"You mean to say that you can not see the carvings on the archway or the entrance at all?"

Aiko nodded and turned to face Kagome. "I want you to know that only you can free Yuki-chan. Just remember that Yuki-chan is meant to protect. She was the guardian of Sorano herself." Kagome nodded at Aiko and was suddenly worried about is abrupt seriousness. "Remember what I have told you Kagome miko-sama." With that said Aiko turned and walked away from Kagome.

Kagome made to call Aiko when she suddenly felt like someone of something was calling her to enter the mountain. Kagome bit her lip and turned to face the mountain. "Okay here goes." Kagome walked forward and entered the mountain.

Again Kagome couldn't believe the sight that met her eyes. It was the most striking scene before her. The hall walls were lined with white marble and battle scenes that involved Kitsune pictured the walls. A strange language, that Kagome couldn't read, ran along the bottom of the both walls. Kagome quickened her pace as the hall slowly became brighter and brighter with a strange light blue light.

As Kagome walked further and further into the mountain the light became more and more intense, until suddenly the whole area flowed with the soft light blue light. Kagome shielded her eyes as she walked forward. Kagome could hear water running and it wasn't until she heard a little splash did she finally stop. Kagome slowly uncovered her eyes and like them adjust to the light of the area.

"Oh my Kami-sama…" Kagome's breath was instantly taken away at the sight before her. Four large white marble pillars were stationed around the room. Each pillar was engraved to look like a different posing Kitsune full form youkai. Water was streaming down the walls and was collecting into a thin stream that ran around the entire room. Little bridges were dotted here and there to cross over the streams of water. The light in the room was making the water appear to be alive as it lapped and splashed against the marble that encased it.

Kagome slowly walked forward. The bridges were made of wood painted white and the arches that held them together were made of marble and lined with silver. Kagome walked over the bridge that was before her and noticed that the bridge started to slope down as if taking her under the very earth. Kagome followed the bridge as it slowly made its path downward. Water streamed around in cascades of sparkling sapphire jewels.

The bridge started to level out and as Kagome came to the end of the bridge she gasped. A platform was before her and upon the platform was a larger then life Kitsune. It was carved out of a crystal clear stone that looked almost alive from the reflections of the water. A small pillar was before the statue. As Kagome approached the pillar she noticed that the same markings were engraved all around the pillar and the top of the pillar was a magic circle with a thin opening in the middle.

"State thy name!"

Kagome jumped at the suddenness of a voice. "My name is Kagome. I am the Sacred Miko."

"Why has thee come to this consecrated place?"

"I have come to unseal Yuki-chan."

"This Yuki-chan is meant to stay sealed. Why has thee come to unseal her?"

"I have come because a great evil is once again present in this world. Evil is at work to unseal the Lord of Darkness Ryuzaburo. Yuki-chan and Sorano are both needed to help stop this darkness from consuming this world."

"If thy intentions are true then what thy seeks will be unsealed. Open thy soul to me and I shall judge thee."

Kagome wasn't sure if she liked the idea of opening her soul to a bodiless voice but what other choice did she have. Kagome closed her eyes and calmed her soul. Kagome suddenly felt a warmth wrap around her body as she was pulled into a bright light.

"Sesshoumaru hold them back!" Kagome jumped at the sound of the voice. That was Inuyasha! Kagome looked around trying to see Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha make sure that the left side is secure. We need to buy Kagome enough time to unseal Yuki-chan."

"I know that already Sesshoumaru! You just do your job and I'll do mine." Kagome suddenly saw Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru as if she was standing right beside. They were standing just in front of the forest. They were both barely within the kekkai of the village. The Tsunio on the other side were slashing and hacking at the kekkai.

Sesshoumaru was glowing softly and so was Inuyasha. Kagome couldn't make out any colours because of the brightness around her. Kagome turned her head and saw Miroku, Sango and the fully transformed Kirara standing a few feet away from Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. What is going on?!

Kagome's thoughts were put on hold as Inuyasha was sent flying backwards. One of the Tsunio had managed to break a small opening in the kekkai and had lunged at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha!!!!" Kagome made to run to his side but was stopped by an unseen kekkai or force. "No! NOO! Inuyasha!!!" The Tsunio had wrapped itself around Inuyasha's middle and was squeezing him tightly.

Sesshoumaru ran to Inuyasha's side and tried to pry it off of him. The Tsunio was only burning Sesshoumaru's hand and he had to let go. Inuyasha yelled out in pain as the Tsunio continued to squeeze the very life from Inuyasha. Kagome fell to her knees and wrapped her arms around herself. "No this can't be happening! Inuyasha you can't leave me you can't! I will protect you for once." Kagome raised her head slightly and looked at the pain twisted face of Inuyasha.

"I WILL PROTECT YOU INUYASHA!!!"

Suddenly Kagome was pulled away from Inuyasha and the scene before her. Kagome's eyes shot open when she felt herself hit the ground hard. Kagome blinked hard and tried to get her eyes to adjust to the light. But it was no use. The light in the room was pulsating. Kagome raised her head and looked at the statue. It was glowing an intense blue colour.

"You have shown me thy wish to protect those that thou dose love and cherish. The seal of Yuki-chan recognizes Kagome as the true Sacred Miko!"

Kagome covered her eyes as the whole room exploded into light. Kagome opened one eye as she felt herself sliding against the floor towards the platform and the statue. Everything in the room was being sucked into the statue as it pulsated and sent off waves of youki. Kagome flattened herself to the ground as streaks of light flew towards the statue and were absorbed.

Kagome covered her ears to try and block out the noise that was bouncing off the walls. It was as if a hurricane had touched down in the room. The wind was whistling and howling and was reeking havoc on her ear drums. Abruptly everything fell silent as the room grew steadily darker. The wind stopped and Kagome raised herself off the ground. Kagome slowly stood up and looked at the platform. A large light blue orb of light was floating in the middle of the platform.

Kagome climbed up on the platform and walked towards the floating orb. She slowly reached out and placed her hand gently on the orb. Kagome felt a sudden warm as the orb flashed and changed in shape. Kagome watched curiously as the orb started to form into the shape of a human.

Floating before Kagome was now a small humanoid looking creature. They were completely made of the same light blue light that had once been the orb. The creature had long flowing hair, a long elegant tail, and was wearing clothing that looked a lot like her own. The creature looked like they would stand to about her waist if not a little bit shorter. Kagome reached out and placed her hand on the cheek of the creature.

Unexpectedly the eyes of the creature opened as all the light exploded from its body sending Kagome flying backwards and landing hard on the platform. "Itai…" Kagome slowly shifted to her knees and opened her eyes. A small hand was held out to her and Kagome slowly looked up into brilliant green eyes.

"I have been waiting for you Kagome-chan. I am Yuki-chan of the White."

A/N: Okay here it is. Chapter fourteen. I'm so SSSSOOOO sorry it took so long. My computer is the devil. It is a nice long chapter to make up for it being so late. I know that I am evil for the cliffy but the next chapter is the battle scene and I didn't think that I could keep writing in this chapter. The next won't take as long.
