Chapter 4: Midnight Longing (LEMON!)

 

Sesshoumaru sent Jaken to watch over the children in their room before retiring to his own private room. Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango and Kagome, also, each took their own room. It seemed the others had found sleep quickly after a long day of traveling. Kagome, however, could not sleep. Visions of Inuyasha clouded her mind. She had not talked to him much since they had reunited. Too much had happened in the past week for her mind to relax, as well. She longed to see Inuyasha. Finally, she worked up the courage to leave her room. Silently, she slipped out of her room and down the hallway to Inuyasha's room. Not surprisingly, Inuyasha was still awake when she entered. His bed was untouched and he sat against the wall, clutching Tetsusaiga.

 

“What are you doing out of bed, woman?” he said.

 

Kagome blushed, “I…I wanted to see you.”

 

He didn't move as she knelt down in front of him. He didn't say anything, but touched her cheek and stared into her deep brown eyes. Kagome almost forgot to breathe. She leaned into his palm and closed her eyes. Inuyasha wasted no time in leaning forward to kiss her. He dropped Tetsusaiga to the side and pulled Kagome into his lap. He muttered her name against her lips. She moaned and parted her lips to accept him. Inuyasha slowly slid his hand up under her nightshirt. The feel of her bare skin sent tremors through his body. Inuyasha growled low in his throat as his palm covered her breast. Kagome greedily shoved aside his haori and undershirt.

 

“Wait…Kagome” Inuyasha said, breathing raggedly.

 

“Inuyasha, what's wrong?”

 

“If we do this…it's forever…you'll be mine forever.”

 

“Forever…” she repeated, “I would like that”

 

“Really…are you sure?”

 

“Is that what you want too?” she asked, her eyes pleading.

 

“Keh! I think I could tolerate you!” he teased.

 

Kagome smiled broadly and threw her lips down upon his. Savagely, Inuyasha ripped off her nightshirt. Kagome pushed his shirts off his shoulders and began working the knot on his hakama. Inuyasha trailed kisses down her neck. He carefully slid her over to his bed and laid her down. He slid off her pink satin panties before removing his hakama and kneeling over her. His mouth covered her breast. He trailed his left hand down her side and brought it to rest on her inner thigh. Kagome arched into him and gasped as his fingers entered her. He trailed kisses down her stomach and she giggled. He looked up into her half-closed eyes and smiled. He then leaned down to taste the juices of her innocence. Her scent engulfed him, overcame his senses. He became intoxicated with her. He gently trailed his claws back up her body. He kissed her mouth and sucked on her lower lip. Nipping lovingly at her neck, he entered her slowly. Kagome stifled a cry. Quickly, it became harder and harder to do so. Her fingernails dug into the flesh of Inuyasha's shoulders. She buried her head in the crook of his neck. Inuyasha continued, growing bolder every minute. He trailed kisses along her neck and collarbone. He growled loudly as she bit his neck. With a final moan, he released and collapsed upon her. He rolled onto his back, pulling Kagome onto his chest. Neither spoke a they lie there, panting. Kagome listened to his heart, which was beginning to slow. Finally, she smiled and inhaled deeply. Inuyasha pulled his blanked up to cover them and tucked it underneath her chin. He kissed her forehead and idly smoothed back her hair until he sensed that sleep had finally claimed her.

 

“Goodnight, my mate” he whispered.

 

 

“I would not go in there, if I were you” Sesshoumaru said, neutrally, as always, as he passed Miroku in the hall.

 

“INUYASHA!” Miroku yelled as he threw open the door, “We can't find Ka…”

 

Startled from his unusually deep slumber, Inuyasha nearly jumped out of bed. Fortunately, at the last minute, he realized he was naked.

 

“Never mind…guess we found her” Miroku said, smiling broadly, “So, do you guys have fun last night?”

 

“Shut up, lecher!” Inuyasha snarled as he grabbed his hakama.

 

Kagome yawned and stretched as she awoke. Then, upon seeing Miroku standing at the door, she turned crimson and buried her face in Inuyasha's chest. At that moment, Sango also arrived at the door.

 

“MIROKU!” Sango yelled, “Get outta there, you pervert!”

 

She grabbed his ear and dragged him outta the room. A loud slap was heard several minutes later, while Kagome and Inuyasha were dressing. Inuyasha started to storm out of the room, but Kagome cut him off and kissed him.

 

“Forever, right?” she smiled.

 

“Yes, you're my one and only mate, forever” he smiled back.
