“Sorry Ayame we couldn't get much out of him,” Ginta said.
“Yeah he gets suspicious every time we mentioned you,” Hakkaku confirmed.
“Well did you get a little information?” She asked tapping her foot.
“Well he said the other girl's name was Kagome-“Ginta started.
“But they're not really dating and she's not speaking to him…” Hakkaku interrupted.
“Well we can only guess it's because of what happened at the club,” his brother finished.
“So the girl doesn't even like Kouga?” She asked confused.
“All he said was that she wasn't speaking to him anymore but that he had a plan to win her over,” Ginta said.
“Yeah and he said he'd already started with the plan, but he didn't tell us anymore about it,” Hakkaku said.
“Guys I don't know what to do. I love Kouga, I really do,” she replied sadly.
“We're sorry Ayame. Maybe you should try to move on?” Hakkaku suggested. The young girl's angry flared immediately.
“I can't move on! Kouga loves me I know he does!”
“Yeah okay Ayame,” Ginta said, nervously.
“Yeah whatever you say,” Hakkaku said, putting his hands up.

“Don't get a bunch of junk food,” Kagome said, as she exited the car and started walking to the entrance of the grocery store.
“What does it matter? I work out so I need more calories to burn than you do,” he said, following her.
“Why not healthy calories?”
“Healthy doesn't taste as good. And you're one to talk, after you had that giant bowl of ice cream the other night and all that take-out,” He teased. Kagome simply stuck her tongue out at him and kept walking.
“Get a cart,” she said.
“Why do I have to push?” He whined.
“Stop acting like a two-year-old, I need to check off the list and put the prices into the calculator,” she explained.
“I could do that.”
“Whatever, you know you would have whined about that too if I'd asked you to do it,” she said, clipping the grocery list into the clipboard with its calculator attachment.
“We're getting ramen first,” he said, ignoring her.
Kagome rolled her eyes and stomped off behind him. He knew exactly where the aisle with the ramen was and it amazed her that the dried noodles had so much power over him.
`I should dangle a cup in front of his face next time the apartment needs to be cleaned.' She mused.
“Do you want it in the cup or pack?” She asked, shaking the silly thought from her head.
“What kind did you use with the shrimp that night?”
“The pack.” She grabbed four packs of ramen and put the in the cart. As she was punching the prices into the calculator, she saw Inuyasha throwing more ramen cups into the cart out of the corner of her eye.
“These are for when I just want ramen!” He snapped when he saw her looking at him. When she counted, they had fifteen cups and packs of ramen all together.
“Come on,” she said.
“When's the press party again?” She asked walking ahead of him.
“Few days, why?”
“I was just wondering.”
“You haven't messed anything up have you?” He asked looking at the back of her head suspiciously.
“What? No! I was just asking,” she answered, putting a case of canned soda in the cart.
“Well how is the project going?” He asked, still eyeing her like he was waiting for her to lie.
“It's going really good. The billboard and magazine ads are done and will be shipped to you tomorrow. We're shooting the commercial on Monday.”
“You're handling the commercial too?” He said, a gasped.
“Well it wasn't in my original assignment first it was given to Kouga to handle because that's what he does. But when he became my partner we just worked on both,” she explained.
“That asshole's working on it with you? Great; the damn commercial's ruined!”
“Inuyasha stop. I came up with the idea for the commercial.”
“Feh, I can't wait to see this…” He said, skeptically.
“I won't screw it up and I won't let Kouga screw it up either. Now stop being a drama queen and help me shop,” she said, tossing rolls of toilet paper into the cart.
“But I have to push the big cart, shopping's too much to do,” he mocked. And then he was hit in the face with a roll of toilet paper.

Inuyasha held the plastic bag in between his teeth as he tried to unlock the door to their apartment. Kagome's arms were starting to hurt because of the groceries she was carrying. She sighed with annoyance when she noticed that Inuyasha couldn't see what he was doing and kept missing the key hole.
“Left Inuyasha, now down a little. That's too far down! Now go to the right a touch, perfect!” The door opened they waddled in. Inuyasha was about to lead the way to the kitchen when the phone rang.
“The machine'll get it,” Kagome said.
`Beep'
“Inuyasha I need to you get back to me on the article-“ Inuyasha dropped the bags and headed over to the phone and picked it up.
“Sure Kikyou you have my permission, go ahead and write the stupid thing. Yeah fine, bye.” He turned around to see Kagome staring at him like he grown another head.
“Her magazine is writing an article about me too,” he said, shrugging his shoulders. Kagome showed no outward emotion and simply continued on to the kitchen.
She was upset but she knew she shouldn't be. He said she was only writing an article on him so it wasn't a big deal right? But still, the idea of her calling their home to talk to him just pissed her off for some reason. Lately she had been thinking of Inuyasha differently. She didn't really see him as her annoying roommate that much anymore. She wanted to be closer to him but the thought rejection scared her, and the thought of him finding a new girlfriend scared her even more.
