Souta sat down in the floor and played with the game boy.

Kagome sat down and started getting out some of her old crayons and stuff she had left here and set Dylan loose on her walls, "Decorate away. I hate how gray this room is." She laughed and turned around just as Mayu ran into the room with Ayame and the both glomped the hell out of her, the latter being the eldest by 5 years. "Auntie Kaggy!!!" they both hollered and tackled her to the ground.

Souta looked up from the game boy and laughed while shippou drew on the walls.

Kagome went cross-eyed and pulled the 11 year old and the 4 year old off of her, "Hey cuties! What's up, ya sexy beasts???" She laughed and scooted back as Ayame stumbled over her words trying to get all of her words out, "Momma, she bought, she bought, she bought me a ... an umm... a Sugar Plum Princess Doll!!!" She squealed finally and scrunched up her face and cheered. Mayu rolled her eyes at her sister and looked up at her Aunt, "I got a new toy too! It's a stuffed Pony! I want a real one but Momma said I was too small." She pouted. Kagome shook her head tempted to ring Kagura's neck for saying that to Mayu, and distracted herself, "Hey, Picasso," she called to Shippou, "C'mere for a minute I want you two to meet my nieces, Ayame and Mayu. Ayame, Mayu, this is Souta and Shippou." A little girl peaked around the corner at the rest of them and Kagome smiled at her, "And that's Kanna, hey chika!" Kanna came into the room quietly, "Momma said those are your new baby's and you didn't know who the daddy was." She whispered softly. Kagome's eyes flared, "NANI?!?!?!" She hollered and stood up quickly.

Souta looked a little mad and Shippou come over and sat down beside him, "She isn't our mommy..." Souta said with a scowl. "Shippou looked at them and said, "No, no, no, no..."

Kagome looked at the three girls seriously, "Your mommy is lying again, these are the boys I baby-sit for. Remember? I was telling you on the phone about it, Ayame." Ayame nodded and looked at Souta, "You like Pokemon?"

He nodded, "Pikachu and jiggly puff are my favorites." Shippou laughed and said "pika pika"

Kagome smiled as peace was restored between them, as Ayame, Mayu, and Kanna all pounced on him, "Nuh UHHHHHH" they all yelled, ignoring the fact he hadn't said anything about them being the best and started spouting their favorites. Ayame stood up indignantly, "Ponyta and Vulpix are the best." Mayu shook her head, "Uh uh Horsea and Ninetails is better!" Kanna shook her head, "He's right, Pikachu is best but Clef fairy is better than Jigglypuff!"

"Ninetails is cool but vaporeon is cool too and so is jolteon" Souta said with out a second thought while Shippou sat there and watched them with wide eyes.

Kagome shook her head and looked at the kids, "Is anyone hungry?" and nearly toppled over when all the girls jumped on her with huge, "YEA!"'s.

Souta looked at Kagome, "I don't want to go back out there with that mean woman." Shippou shook his head saying, "No, no, no, go."

She nodded, "That's ok. Ayame, if I send Rin up here with you can you two watch your sisters and Souta and Shippou while I make you guys sandwiches?" Ayame nodded and sat down to discuss serious Pokemon with Souta, "Vaporeon is better then Jolteon because he is prettier and can fight better though..." She started as Kagome disappeared out into the hallway, soon finding Rin and sending her upstairs.

"But jolteon can knock out vaporeon cause its water and the other is electric," Souta said while playing the game boy, "Electric is stronger than water types." Shippou watched him playing the game.

Ayame scowled, "But that's where you can bring in Vulpix and kick Jolteon's butt! Or you can use Growlith!"

Souta sighed and continued playing the game. "Where's Kagome?" Shippou sing songed, "Kag...Kag Kagome."

Rin looked over at them quietly, her thin frame from constantly being sick blending in with the pasty color of the wall, "She's downstairs getting you food," she tilted her head to the side and looked over at Shippou and Souta, "How do you guys like Kagome so far?"

Souta smiled. "She's nice but her and Yash fight a lot...they are always getting into yelling matches."

Rin blinked a couple of times, "Her and Hojo did that a lot too before they started going out. Now they are really sweet and nice to each other." Ayame nodded.

Souta blinked, "Does that mean they like each other?"

Rin shrugged and Ayame did too, "Maybe." Kanna and Mayu looked at each other and giggled, "Is Yash cute?"

He shrugged, "I don't know ask Kagome"

Another little girl, a bit younger looking than Mayu peeked around the corner. All the girls turned to see her and squealed, "Its TSUYA!!!" They all yelled and ran for the girl, nearly glomping her to death.

He blinked and mumbled something out about girls being odd causing Shippou to laugh.

A boy ran down the hall hollering and whooping and bounced into the room, wearing a suit, like he usually does, and spotted the boys and ran over to sit down and watch Souta play, "That's an awesome game! You are really good at that!" he said as the girls found interest in drawing pictures on Kagome's walls.

Souta nodded, "Yeah its a cool game," shippou got up and grabbed some crayons and started drawing on the walls with the others

The boy peered at the game watching him play, "Oh, that's Nobunaga's Dragon Ball Z game. I'm Kohaku by the way."

He smiled, "I'm Souta ...hi Kohaku" Souta turned and pointed to Shippou "That's my little brother, Shippou," Shippou stands there coloring lines and squiggles on the wall.

Kohaku nodded and looked at his brother, "You the guys the kids that my mommy was being mean to?"

Souta frowned, "She was more mean to Kagome.....I like Kagome she's nice"

Kohaku nodded, "Kagome is nice, she raised us when Mommy left us to go run around with her crazy boyfriends, and she was already raising Nobunaga and Rin, even though Rin was always sick."

Souta frowned even more "My mommy and daddy ran off too now Yash takes care of us.''
Kohaku looks over at him, "I'm sorry. Do you go to school?"

He shakes his head no "I go to school at home this summer."

Kohaku looked at him wide-eyed, "You're HOMESCHOOLED?! That's AWESOME!"

He nods, "yeah as long as i do as im told i get a new video game system Yash promised"

Kohaku pouted, "I wish I was home schooled..."

"Maybe Yash can teach you too then you can come over and play," he smiled, "You can see my new dog and my pony."

Kohaku looked at him wide-eyed, "Wooooowwww you have a pony????" Mayu looked up at this wide-eyed as well, "You have a pony?!"

He nodded, "Yep, her name is Cherokee, she is black with spots."

Both Mayu and Kohaku gathered around him and looked up at him with wide eyes, "She sounds pretty," Mayu said with starry eyes.

Souta nodded, "We have lots of horses we live on a farm...we have dogs cats rabbits and other stuff." Shippou came over and giggled, "Buyo, kitty."

Kagome came back into the room with a plateful of sandwiches, "Food's here!" She called out cheerfully and was immediately swarmed by kids. After she dished out the hungry monsters all around her she went over to Souta and Shippou, "You guys about ready to go? I have everything done and taken care of now."

Shippou clapped and jumped up, "Go, go, go!" Souta smiled, "Ok, lets go! I want my bear...I bet he's lonely out there all alone."

Kagome smiled and nodded holding her arms out for the bouncing boy, "I bet he is. Do you guys want to go to the park afterwards?"

Shippou runs and jumps into her arms laughing Souta shook his head "I don't wanna go there anymore"

Kagome looked at him a bit surprised, "Ok, no park." She cuddled Shippou close and held out her hand for Souta, "Anyplace you DO want to go?" she asked him as she tramped down the stairs.

He thought a minute, "Ummm I wanna see Yash and Kouga at work...let's eat dinner with them...please?" He gave her a pouty face and then Shippou joined in, "Please?"

She blinked slightly, "Well... maybe. I suppose we could." She smiled over at him, "Save me some minutes on my cell phone," She laughed and put Shippou in his car seat. "Should we take them dinner?"

Souta nodded. "They like burgers and fries." He climbed into the car and hugged his bear, fastening his seat belt. Shippou laughed and started pounding his fists on his car seat, "Chicken, chicken!"

She looked over at the review mirror as she pulled out of the driveway and headed on to Winston, "Ok, does that mean you want Chicken Nuggets, squirt?

Shippou nodded, "Chicken!" Souta laughed, "He wants a happy meal."

Kagome smiled and looked over at Souta, "Thanks, kido. And what are you gonna want for dinner?"

"I want the same," he laughed.

Kagome smiled and stared at the road, "So how'd you like the other kids?"

Souta smiled "they were fun"

She looked at him through the mirror again, "I'm glad you like them. Hey, Souta. I have a deal I wanna make with you."

He looked up at her "what deal?"

She looked over at him, "I think the alien would be a little bit less of a butt brain if you didn't wake him up so early in the morning. So from now on, come to me, and I'll get it for you. If you do that, then I will get you all of the space rangers."

He nodded "Deal....but I still get to wake him up, right? Just not so early, right?"

She smiled over at him, "Yea. Because he's a real grouch head when you get him up that early, and then he wants to stay up all night on the computer, it's a wonder he sleeps at all."

Souta nods, "Yeah he is a grouch, but he likes to talk to Kouga on the computer."

Kagome smiled slightly, "Yea. How long have they been dating?"

He shrugs, "I don't know," Shippou's head nodded back and forth from falling asleep, "Ummm, is that what they call wrestling? Cause Yash and Kouga wrestle a lot."

Kagome choked and slammed on the breaks before she ass-ended the car in front of her. Her eyes avoided Souta's while she stammered, "Err... uh... yea I guess." She blushed darkly and pulled up near the mall.

He blinked, "You drive like Yash, he does that a lot too."

She blushed darkly, "Gomen nasai, Souta-chan."

Souta laughed at her red face "why are you so red Kagome?"

She muttered slightly, "It's just hot in here."
