"It's cold inside, let's go in," Souta said as he hugged his bear.

Kagome nodded as she parked her car, looking at the clock, "Ok, we have about 3 hours to burn before we have to leave if we want to get there in time to bring them lunch," she looked at Souta and grabbed her purse, and unbuckled Shippou, careful not to wake him up.

Souta hopped out the car making sure to leave his bear safe inside the car, "What are we getting, Kagome?"

She looked over at him, "Well, we need to pick up some stuff I need for school, and I wanted to get you some school supplies and Shippou some of those markers that only color on a certain type of paper. Then we are going to pick up the stuff i told you I would get you and Shippou, and then we are going to pick up some anime and manga for Inu Yasha." Looking, over at him, she held Shippou with one arm and held the other one out to Souta.

Souta took her hand as they walked across the parking lot, "Do we have to get the grouch anything?"

She smiled at him and stuck her tongue out, "It will save him from spending a lot of money on manga and anime when he goes here this weekend. I plan on buying him so much manga he won't have time to read it all before next summer."

Souta laughed, "He has a shelf full now."

She looked over at him and laughed, "Well he'll have to build more shelves for this stuff."

He shrugged, "Guess so."

Inu Yasha pushed a hand over his sweaty forehead and tossed another box up into the back of the truck, glancing at his watch. Two more hours until break.

He looked over at Kouga and flashed him a sultry look, getting one back. He groaned slightly trying to focus anywhere but on his lover whose body was glistening with sweat and his movements seemed to flow in time to the music coming out of the radio. Inu Yasha watched him carefully wanting to grab him and drag him into a secluded area right then and there. He closed his eyes and he imagined his hands moving over Kouga's rippling muscles, his hand reaching up to untie his long black ponytail making his beautiful hair fall in cascading waves down around his shoulders and his head leaning back, a look of pure bliss appearing on his face as Inu Yasha rubbed against his-

"HEY YASH!!" a loud voice from out of no where caught his attention and brought him back to reality. His sister, Nazuna, was standing in the doorway of the loading dock looking a bit more than mildly irritated. From the look on her face she had been calling his name for quite some time.

"What?!" he snapped trying to get his mind off of the rather noticeable third leg that seemed to have grown in his pants during his daydream. Nazuna smirked at this and Kouga blushed, smiling coyly going back to loading boxes into the truck. Inu Yasha felt his face grow hot and he stormed over to see what she wanted now. Nazuna tossed him an envelope with his paycheck in it, "Baba wants to see you. Something about a phone call from mom. Your cell phone was off."

Inu Yasha muttered something darkly and stormed off to answer it, pushing passed the old woman, they affectionately called `Baba' and picking up the receiver, "Yea?"

His mom's agitated voice rang in his ear, "Is that how you always answer the phone? I would hope not, I would have thought I raised you better, and what are you eating for dinner tonight? I would hope something that would at least keep your clumsy ass healthy for at least a week and further more-"

Inu Yasha rolled his eyes and sighed, "Get to the point, Haha-ue."

Muuona bristled at his tone slightly and sighed irritably, "When am I going to meet this babysitter? I want to know the person who is spending most of her time with the boys you know."

Inu Yasha twitched and ran a hand through his hair, "Ok I'll introduce her to you tomorrow, ok?"

"You better it's already been three days and I haven't seen hide nor hair of this mysterious Kagome-"

Inu Yasha grunted, "Gotta go, Mom, bai." Laying the phone down on the receiver her muttered to himself and went back to work.

Kagome buckled Shippou back into the car seat who had miraculously stayed asleep the whole time they were in the mall and finished putting the rest of her bags into the back of the car. In the end they had wound up making a couple of trips. If someone looked at all the manga and anime she had bought they would have thought she was making a shipment for Suncoast! She looked over at Shippou and smiled, "Ok kido, we have about an hour and a half to burn, so you want to just pick up McDonalds and go or do you think we should stop by and drop this stuff off first?

Shippou opened his eyes and yawned looking around while Souta set his bear next to him in the seat, "Lets go to McDonalds, we want chicken nuggets!" Shippou smiled, "Yeah! Chicken, chicken!"

Kagome smiled and hopped behind the wheel, "Ok, Souta, give Shippou his new bear so you two don't start wrestling over yours again. It's in the blue bag." Pulling out of the parking lot she headed off so she could go pick up McDonalds for the kids and Inu Yasha and Kouga.

Souta dug around in the blue bag and pulled out the bear wearing overalls, "Here, Shippou," he handed Shippou the bear .Shippou took it and hugged on it "I like it" he squealed.

Kagome smiled and pulled into the McDonalds, ordering two Happy Meals and a large Greek salad and looked over her shoulder at Souta, "What are they gonna want?"

Souta thought with his nose wrinkled in concentration, "Ummm, Kouga likes salads, and Yash will eat 2 double cheese burgers and a lot of fries"

Kagome made a strange face ordering the food and lots of extra fries, "What do you guys want to drink?"

"Coke!" Shippou yelled. Souta laughed, "I want a coke too."

She smiled and got them cokes and three large mountain dews pulling out of the parking lot with the food moments later, "You guys can hold out till we get there, right?"

They both nodded. "It smells good though, Kagome," Souta said while taking a deep breath.

Kagome laughed and shook her head pulling into the parking lot of Inu Yasha's work moments later, about 5 minutes before break time, and hurriedly stepped out of the car, "Ok squirts, we're here, get out and grab the food for you and Shippou, would you Souta? I'll get the rest," she smiled at him and leaned over unfastening Shippou and grabbing up the food for Inu Yasha, Kouga, and herself, as well as the drinks.

Souta got out of the car and grabbed the food for him and Shippou smiling as he closed the door, "Yay! Food!" he laughed as he ran for the door of the building.

She smiled and followed closely after him, and pushed the door open for him looking around and heading off to the cafeteria with the kids.

Kouga stepped around the corner and saw Souta, "Souta? What are you doing here?"

Souta heard his voice and turned around smiling, "We are bringing you and Yash dinner!"

Kouga smiled, "Well then let's go and find Yash."

Kagome smiled and looked over at Kouga, "Hey how goes work so far?"

Kouga sighed, "Not so good. Yash doesn't play well with others lets just put it that way."

They heard Yash yelling, "Fuck the hell off you mother fucker!!!!"

Kouga shrugged "And there he goes again"

Kagome sweat dropped and Shippou giggled ducking his face behind her curtain of hair, still clutching his new teddy bear, "Ok, well I hope you guys like McDonalds."

Kouga nodded, "Thanks for bringing us dinner."

They all walked over to the now red faced Inu Yasha who was in a heated argument with another co-worker. Inu Yasha saw the group walking towards him and the nasty look on Kouga's face and shut up.

Kagome giggled slightly and looked at Shippou who had started babbling in his own little language to his new teddy bear and making it eat her hair, raising an eyebrow, "So, Inu Yasha, are you hungry?"

Inu Yasha looked slightly embarrassed from his actions earlier, "Yeah ...I'm pretty hungry," he looked at Kouga as he walked past him with his hand on Souta's shoulder listening to Souta babble on about the kids he met earlier and laughed, "Glad you made some friends, Souta." Kouga said as he smiled down at the boy.

Kagome tossed Inu Yasha the two bags with his food in it and pushed a salad over to Kouga, along with their mountain dews before taking the bag from Souta and dishing out the food for the kids.

Shippou and Souta began digging into their food as Inu Yasha pulled out the burgers, "Inu, how can you eat two of those?" Kouga eyed him as he put dressing on his salad. Inu grunted as he took a big bite out of the burger and then pulling out a large order of fries.

Kagome watched the four guys eating her salad quietly, her gaze lingering on Inu Yasha longer than it did on the others, "You speak caveman too?"

Inu Yasha narrowed his eyes at her while Kouga laughed at her comment. "He speaks it fluently," Kouga said as he reached over to get his drink.

She smiled and shook her head looking back down at her salad and listening to their conversation quietly.

Inu ate in silence out of a mixture of embarrassment and anger .Kouga eyed him, "Well now I have seen it all you have gotten the best of him Kagome" Inu Yasha looked up wide eyed, "Huh? What is that suppose to mean?" Kouga laughed at his expression as he started eating again. Souta laughed "Yash looks like his brain stopped working" Shippou giggled and ate a fry.

Kagome, strangely enough, blushed at the comment, and continued eating her food. Suddenly she remembered something Souta said earlier and eyed the two older men, "Oh, I do so hope that you guys aren't 'wrestling' around Souta and Shippou. I mean I wouldn't want them exposed to violence."
