Kouga's eyes widened as did Inu Yasha's. Their faces turned ten shades of red and then Inu Yasha's eye twitched, "I don't do that around the kids ....we 'wrestle' when we are alone." Kouga coughed and took a drink of his soda trying to cool down his face.

Kagome eyed him, ignoring the curious looks from the boys, "Then how is it they know about it?" She folded her arms over her chest and sat back.

Inu growled " Souta have you been spying on me and Kouga when i told you not to at night?" Souta lowered his eyes to the table.

"Souta your not suppose to do that!" Kouga looked over at him.

Souta looked up, "You guys were laughing and I thought I might be able to come and play....I'm sorry I won't do it again," Souta pouted and gave big puppy eyes.

Kagome felt a slight twinge of...well she wasn't sure what it was so she went back to eating her food silently trying to rid herself of whatever it was and shook her head at the prospect that a four year old had seen Kouga and Inu Yasha doing the nasty.

Inu looked over at her smugly, "Well ...I told you we didn't do that in front of them."

Kouga sat there choosing to keep his mouth shut.

Shippou sat there trying to feed his bear a fry while Souta just watched all of them.

Kagome's brow twitched as she flipped Inu Yasha a little birdie, quite nicely.

Kouga blinked and looked at Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha sat there, a snarl on his face, and his eyes locked on hers, "You would like that wouldn't you?"

Kouga looked at him "Inu Yasha!!! Enough!!"

Kagome blushed at Inu Yasha's comment and was about to open her mouth to throw out an angry retort to him when Kouga snapped, making her jump about three feet into the air.

Inu Yasha looked over at Kouga with a surprised look. Kouga got up from the table, "I have some work to finish Inu you need to hurry up and get back to work." With that said, Kouga, turned and walked out of the break room, his long black hair flying about his face. Inu Yasha sat the dumb founded as he watched him leave, "Ummm...what just happened?" he looked over at Kagome confused.

Kagome looked over at him, noticing a strange look on Kouga's face before he stalked off and held up her hands shrugging, "No clue."

Inu shrugged and finished up his dinner "well thanks for the burgers i appreciate it" Shippou sat there playing with his bear which made Inu smile "Kags get you a new teddy bear, Shippou?" The little boy nodded, "I like him lots!" Inu Yasha laughed, "I can see that." He looked over to Kagome, "You didn't have to do that you know"

Kagome smirked a wicked gleam in her eye, "Wait till you see what I got you."

He swallowed hard as he glanced over to Souta, seeing him asleep with his head on the table, "Well, looks like you ran Souta around until he collapsed," he chuckled and pointed to the sleeping boy.

Kagome nodded and smiled slightly, "He ran that mall rampant. I thought that boy would have crashed and burned long ago, but no such luck."

He laughed, "He hardly ever does that." He walked over and picked him up into his arms, "I will carry him out to the car for you."

Kagome smiled gratefully and scooped up Shippou with his bear tossing away the garbage, "Thanks, but don't be frightened by all of the shopping bags. I filled the car."

He blinked as he walked through the plant and towards the door, "How much did you buy?" he pushed the door open and walked to her car.

She laughed and shook her head, "Let's just say that you won't be needing to buy any anime or manga for a few years."

He opened the door to her car sitting Souta in and fastening him into the booster seat. He looked at her, "You didn't have to buy me anything, Kagome ....you should spend your money on yourself," He picked up Souta's bear and put it in his lap and then closed the door.

Kagome smiled and slipped Shippou into his seat gently, "Yea ... but Souta said that you spent too much money every time you went there. And besides, who said I wasn't going to read your manga and watch the anime either?"

He stretched which caused him to grunt, "Yeah, yeah, sure ...no problem," he smiled at her, "You be careful going home, ok?"

She smiled at him and shook her head slightly caught unawares at this show of kindness, "I will, and don't forget, 10:30 at the latest."

He nods, "Ok, ok ....I'm getting off of work in 2 hours anyway, so don't worry," He waved as he strutted off towards the entrance his braid swinging down around his waist.

She turned around and got in the car but sat and watched until he disappeared into the building.

He walked back towards the loading dock .He saw Kouga already back to work and looking pissed, "Oh, shit ....these are gonna be the longest 2 hours ever," he sighed as he went back to work.

Kagome sat back against the couch and closed her eyes listening to the opening song of blue seed before cracking an eye open. She moaned in exhaustion and peered at the clock. There was no way she was gonna be able to make it to class tonight without collapsing. She groaned and struggled to lift herself up enough to pull the cell phone out of her ass pocket and called the school about not being able to come in. She hung up the phone and sank against the couch. She had cleaned the house from top to bottom earlier, making it spotless before Inu Yasha came home, and now she was exhausted. Kagome smiled and sighed, relaxing a bit. She had even done the baka's laundry. Her mind went back to the look on Kouga's face earlier and she frowned. She could have sworn she had seen jealousy there, but jealous of what? She shook her head and closed her eyes. She was too tired to think of it now.

Inu Yasha walked up the drive to the house. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the door and walked in, "Yo, I'm home, " he looked over at Kagome sitting on the couch and fought back a laugh, "Did ya ...have a rough day?" He pulled off his shoes at the door before making a dash to the fridge to get a soda, "Are the rug rats in bed, or did you tie them up?" he opened a coke and started to chug it.

Kagome waved her hand towards their bedroom and grunted incomprehensibly. Her hair was matted in a frame around her face, which was streaked with dirt and dust, and she was dressed in blue jean cut offs and an old flannel with the sleeves ripped off and tied around her stomach. She cracked one eye to look at him and grunted in recognition before closing her eyes again.

He laughed this time looking at her, "Go get a shower, or you're gonna be late for class," he snickered as he turned to get into the cabinet, "I will make you some coffee."

"Not goin," she grunted, "But the coffee sounds nice anyway. Thanks." Sitting up slowly she watched him, rubbing her eyes stiffly. "How'd work go?" she yawned.

He frowned as he made her coffee, "It went well enough," he carried a cup of coffee over and gave it to her, then flopped down on the couch beside her.

She pointed to the T.V. "Its Blue Seed. One of the anime's I bought you. The rest are on that shelf." She pointed at a black shelf with red kanji she had had to run out and buy from a furniture store earlier when he ran out of room. It was filled completely with anime and another one that was blood red with black kanji on it was nearly filled with manga.

He looked at the shelves and blinked, "Damn, do you think you spent enough?" He got up and walked over to the shelves and ran his fingers along the characters painted on it, "I take it you like Japanese writing and decoration."

She smiled slightly, "Love it. And yea, I think I hit my daily limit." She yawned and stretched taking a big gulp of the steaming coffee. She screamed and dropped the mug to wave her tongue, but screamed again as the burning liquid hit her lap, "Shimatta!" She leaped up tears springing to her eyes out of pain and frustrated exhaustion.

He spun around to look at her, "What's wrong?!" he saw the coffee mug on the floor and her reddened legs, "Oh shit! Are you ok!?" He ran the get a cloth and put some cold water on it .He then went to the freezer and put some ice in it. Bringing it back he pushed her back onto the couch, "Sit down." He knelt down between her knees and applied ice to the burn, "Klutz."

She sat there and bit her knuckles hard to keep from screaming anymore and snapped, "You think you could have made the damn coffee any hotter???" She grunted at the ice on her legs and squeezed her eyes tightly her legs shaking from the pain. She looked up at him shamefully about her outburst, "Gomen... I didn't mean to snap."

Inu Yasha raised a brow at her and smirked, "You call that a snap? Pshhhh I don't think so," he grabbed her hand and put it on the makeshift ice pack, "Hold that there awhile, I will go and see if I have any aloe to put on it," he got up and jogged back to the bathroom to look for the aloe.

She blushed slightly as she realized how he had been positioned between her knees and mentally smacked herself, "Dammit, Kagome, you are a big girl now, get your mind out of the bloody gutter," she muttered and looked down at the burns on her leg and winced slightly at the very look of them and closed her eyes cursing silently.

He came back down the hall with the aloe bottle in hand along with some bandages, "Alright, found it," he walked back over to her and knelt down again. "This is gonna hurt a bit but then it should stop," he squirted a bit of aloe out onto his hand and then rubbed it onto her burns, "After it dries a bit we will bandage them up....you're lucky, it could have been way worse," he looked up at her.

She blushed looking down at him, her ecchi mind returning to the gutter again with his hand on her leg, rubbing it like that. Granted that he was medicating it, and granted that she was suffering from some mild burns, but she couldn't help it and she raised her eyes up to his, and nodded slowly, "Thank you..." she mumbled quietly.

He watched a blush spread across her face and coughed, "Ummm here's the bandages, I'm sure you can figure out how they work," he stood up and looked across the room.

She nodded and took them and stood up on trembling legs. "Thanks," she muttered again and attempted to make her way across the room to the hallway, but her legs gave under exhaustion, pain, and a newfound trouble she wasn't willing to admit to herself, and she grabbed at the air, yelping before falling onto her butt. She winced and looked down, her face flaming with this new embarrassment.

Inu Yasha walked over to her and picked her up, "I better get you to bed before you kill yourself," He walked a little ways down the hall and then opened the door to her room and walking in, "Are you sure you don't need to go to the doctor?" he put her down on the bed gently and looked at her, "If you need to go, I will take you," he glanced back down at her legs.

Kagome blushed and looked up at him, "But what about the boys?" She asked wincing slightly and bit her lip.

"Well ....that's a good question," he sighed and leaned against the wall. "Hell I don't l know, you tell me what to do, and I will figure something out."

She leaned back slightly against the pillows and bit her lip, "Even if we did go to the hospital, they wouldn't do anything or tell me anything that you haven't already done or I don't already know... So I say let's not worry about it. Thanks for all your help though..." she mumbled looking back down at her bedspread.

Inu Yasha looked at her, "There's Tylenol in the medicine cabinet and if it hurts really badly I will be nice and spare a pain killer," he walked towards the door, "Just tell me and I will get it for you, ok?"

Kagome raised her eyes to look at him again and nodded, "Do you have anything that will knock me out?"

He laughed, "Name it and I got it," he smirked "I have lived off of pain killers for 3 years now… an Oxycotin will pretty much knock you out and I have a new bottle."

Kagome sat straight up in bed and her eyes turned into little spinny hearts, "Inu Yasha I swear I will love you forever if you give me one of those."

He nodded, "Alright, but only one, I need them for when I hurt," he walked out of the room and into the bathroom grabbing the little bottle of pills from the medicine cabinet. He walked back to her room and opened the bottle and got out one white pill, "Take this and go straight to bed," he handed it to her.

She wrinkled her nose, "Are you going to sleep?" she asked and popped the pill into her mouth.

"I'm going to get a shower and then make a phone call," he walked over to the light switch and cut it off, "Now, go to sleep before it takes affect," he walked out of her room and shut the door, "Good night, Kagome." Inu Yasha walked to the bathroom again and started the shower.
