He peeked around the corner. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" he asked, leaning against the door.

Kagome smiled up at him and smirked slightly. "And what's your gift? A striptease?"

He smirked. "You wish."

He walked over and handed her the portrait he did of Mayu. "Keep it, one day it will be worth some money." He laughed and sat down on the foot of the bed.

Kagome let her eyes fall to the picture and she held it gingerly between her fingertips. "Oh, Inu..." she whispered gently looking at the drawing.

Inu Yasha smirked. "It ain't much, but, hey, it didn't cost you anything."

She smiled up at him, tears shimmering in her eyes. "Thank you, very much. It's beautiful."

He raised a brow. "Hey, hey, no crying now." Inu Yasha reached out and touched her face. "You cry and the picture will get wet."

Her face softened at his touch and she lowered her head as a soft blush tinged her cheeks. "So, what are you gonna sing me?"

"Uhhhhh...I don't know yet, but I will think of something," he said as a blush came across his face.

She arched a brow and looked up at him. "And in the mean time, what are you gonna do?"

"Well, I have to give you a hug and a kiss, as ordered by Mayu." Inu Yasha stated plainly.

Kagome blushed crimson and lowered her face quickly. "You know... you don't have to do that..."

Inu Yasha pulled her face up to look at his. "Everyone else did it, and so I will too." He leaned forward and caught her lips in a short, sweet kiss and hugged her close.

Her breath caught in her throat and her heart picked up a bit as she lifted her arms to hug him back, pressing her lips against his in return, then laying her head on his shoulder.

Inu Yasha smiled and stroked her hair. "What am I gonna do with you, Kagome?" he mumbled.

A chill ran through her body at his touch, her flesh erupting in tingles as she breathed in deeply, taking in his warm scent. "I dunno..." she mumbled. "Give me a raise?"

He laughed out loud. "For what, being a pain in my ass?"

She pulled back a little bit, and arched a brow up at him. "No, for cleaning that pigsty you see fit to sleep in."

Inu Yasha reached for her guitar. "Pshhhh ...I like my room the way it is."

A soft smile twitched across Kagome's lips and she leaned back onto her elbows, watching him. "Why does that not surprise me?"

He shrugged. "I don't know." Inu Yasha strummed down on the guitar as he thought of a song.

She titled her head to the side, her soft ebony hair spilling across her pillow and shoulder, before tumbling off in silky waves over the side of the mattress. The early morning light fell across her face, highlighting her eyes through the blinds. "So, what are you gonna sing me, Yasha?"

His face brightened as a thought popped into his head. "I know, ever hear of a song called Simple and Clean?" He looked over at Kagome.

She smiled and nodded. "Off of Kingdom of Hearts, right?"

He nodded as he began to play the song. "Yep, that's it." his foot tapped the floor to the beat as he started to sing.

Inu Yasha closed his eyes as he sang, drawing Kagome into his gentle voice.

He played a few more chords and then looked up as he finished. Kagome looked deep into his eyes as she listened to him end the song.

Inu Yasha sat the guitar down by the bed. "It sucks, I know, but, hey, it was short notice."

She let a small smile cross her lips. "I loved it..." she murmured, looking down at the bedspread.

"Good, I figured you would," he said with a smile on his face.

She lifted her face to look at him and smiled gently. "Thank you."

Inu Yasha nodded. "You're welcome."

Taking a deep breath, she leaned forward and kissed the corner of his mouth gently, a blush spreading across her cheeks.

He leaned forward and caught her lips with his. He ran his tongue along her bottom lip and groaned, feeling her warm lips against his.

She gasped softly at the action and parted her lips slightly, and felt his tongue enter them as her eyes began drifting closed.

Inu Yasha began to crawl onto the bed with her when Kouga yelled out for him.

"Inu Yasha, Shippou's painting the walls."

Inu Yasha growled, then snapped back to reality and reared back, falling off the bed and landing in the floor.

A dark flash of red spread over her face as she shot up. Her eyes fell on him and where he lay on the floor. "Are you ok?" she asked quietly, her voice shaking slightly.

Inu Yasha coughed, "Uhhhhh ...yeah ... I think so." He sat up and pulled himself together. "I'm sorry, Kagome."

She lowered her head, blushing heavily. "Don't worry about it..." she mumbled quietly, wrapping her arms around her abdomen, avoiding his gaze.

He looked up at her. "You rest, I will go and skin the rug rats," Inu Yasha said as he got up and walked out the door.

Kagome watched him walk out the door, and then flopped back against the mattress, groaning. "What the hell are you doing, Kagome?" she muttered, slapping a hand over her face.

Mayu shot up and climbed over Kouga, trying to attack Souta with a magic marker.

Kouga looked worn out, and his hair had seen better days. "Some one, help me?" he begged.

Inu Yasha laughed at the sight. "Ok, kids, enough tormenting Kouga, he looks like he is about to have a break down."

Mayu huffed and plopped back onto the couch, before looking back up at Inu Yasha. "How's Mommy?"

Inu Yasha blushed and ducked his head. "Fine…"
