Kagome yelped as she leapt up. She grabbed the rag and pressed it against Inu Yasha's neck tightly. Spotting Sango, she yelled at her to go get Kouga. Kagome wiped her mouth off and her eyes darted over Inu Yasha as she tried to get him into a comfortable position. "Inu Yasha, wake up, please!" she pleaded.

Inu Yasha opened his eyes slightly and whispered. "Too much...I lost too much..." and with that he passed out.

The girl whimpered and held Inu Yasha close to her, the rag pressed a tightly to his neck as she could.

Sango's eyes fell on Kagome as she drug Kouga over as fast as she could.

Kouga looked at Inu Yasha in shock. "Oh, no, this is my fault, I took too much," he rambled as he moved over to the other side of Inu Yasha. "Inu Yasha, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to," he mumbled as he picked the younger man up. "Kagome, come with me, I'm going to take him to the back room and lay him down," he said as he rushed him off into the back.

Kagome nodded and ran with Kouga back to where he had indicated, her eyes never leaving Inu Yasha.

Kouga went into the back where there was a richly decorated room. He laid him down on the bed that was there and brushed the hair back from his lover's face. "I'm going to go and get him some juice, keep something on the bite wound on his neck, ok?" He said as he moved away from the bed. "And if anyone comes back here, and gives you trouble, tell them I said you could stay back here with him," Kouga said as he rushed out of the room.

The girl sat on the bed beside Inu Yasha, holding the rag to his neck. She looked down at her dress for a moment before she leaned down, ripping a piece of it off. She ripped that strip in half and one of those in half as well. She dabbed one in the water she had brought back with her and gently cleaned the wound the folded the other smallest piece over the wound to seal off the blood flow, then wrapped the long piece around his neck to hold the other in place.

Inu Yasha's eyes opened slightly and looked around, taking in his surroundings. "What am I doing back here in Kouga's private room?" he asked, barely above a whisper.

Kagome looked to the wall behind the bed. It started slowly, just her shoulder shaking then the tears falling from her eyes. The last to come were the choking sobs that over took her.

He looked over to her. "Kagome? What's wrong?"

She lowered her face into her hands and shook her head. "I'm so sorry Inu Yasha, I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!"

Inu Yasha wrinkled his nose. "Listen, it's my fault, I haven't eaten today, and it made my blood low, so I brought it on myself."

She lifted her head to glare at him and punched his chest as she wiped her nose. "You aren't a bloody vampire, Inu Yasha, you need food from the four food groups in your stomach to survive, not blood!"

He flinched. "I know, Kagome!" he shot back. "I was just busy, and didn't have time to eat."

Just then, Ryo knocked and then walked into the room, carrying a glass of orange juice and a sandwich. "Inu, you should know better than that," Ryo chided as he handed him the sandwich and drink. "Sorry to intrude, but the Masters have sent me to tell you to stay back here and rest, there is a slight problem outside."

Kagome looked up at Ryo. "What do you mean? What's wrong?"

Ryo watched Inu Yasha eat the sandwich. "It appears that Inu's brother has shown up, and Master Kouga and Soryo are dealing with him at this moment."

Inu Yasha almost choked on his sandwich and blinked "Sesshoumaru is here?"

Ryo nodded slightly and folded his hands in front of him. "Yes, he is, but don't worry, he will be gone shortly," he said with a slight smile.

Kagome's eyes glazed over. "The kids," she muttered. She reached into her left boot and yanked out her cell phone and dialed the number to get a hold of Muuona and to check on the kids.

Inu Yasha downed the juice quickly and stood up, much to Ryo's protest. "Inu Yasha lay back down," Ryo commanded.

Inu Yasha snorted. "You're not a Master, and you can't order me around as such, Ryo," he snapped back showing his fangs.

Kagome reached up and grabbed a hold of Inu Yasha's hair. Giving it a firm yank, she said, "SIT!"

As he fell back onto the bed, Muuona picked up the phone and confirmed that yes, she and the kids were alright. Kagome kept a tight hold on Inu Yasha's hair as she double and triple checked that the hadn't seen Sesshoumaru in any way shape or form.

Inu Yasha growled. "Let go of my hair, right now!"

Ryo watched in dismay. "My, what a tantrum," he said as he waved a finger at Inu Yasha. This caused Inu Yasha to snap his mouth shut tightly, causing a rather loud pop. Ryo shrank back and showed his fangs in defense. "Calm down, Inu Yasha!" he shouted.

Kagome hung up the phone and then turned to the boy throwing a fit. "Inu Yasha, what good is it going to do for you to go out there right now in your state?"

Inu Yasha glared at her. "He is my brother, and I should deal with him."

Ryo shook his head. "Not right now, it's not a good idea, Inu."

Kouga glared at the man in front of him, "I told you to never step foot in here again, Sesshoumaru." Sesshoumaru raised a brow. "I can go where ever I want. Now, where is my bastard brother?" the silver haired man asked.

Kouga shrugged. "I have no idea where he is."

Sesshoumaru's patients snapped and swung a fist at Kouga's head. Kouga quickly reached up and caught the fist and using the other man's momentum flipped him over onto his stomach. "You listen here," Kouga hissed as he pressed a knee into Sesshoumaru's back. "I will not tolerate you barging into my place of business and threatening my lover. Do you understand me?!"

Soryo stood and watched deciding since it was Kouga's mate in danger that it would be best he handle it, but he would be there, just in case if things got out of hand.

Miroku stood there fuming and fighting back the urge to kill the son of a bitch while Kouga had him pinned down.

Kagome sighed irritably and stood up, "I'm going to go get Sango to hold your ass down. She darted out the door before either man could say something and wedged an end table against the table so they wouldn't be able to get the door open enough to get out and darted out into the main room. Her eyes flickered over Kouga and Soryo before landing on Sesshoumaru. A scowl etched itself deep in her features as she tried to go unseen past them.

A loud clattering noise erupted and the table trembled, drawing Kagome's gaze back to the room. She cursed and darted towards her destination.

Inu Yasha kicked at the door trying to knock loose what was holding it closed.

Ryo shrank back at the temper of Inu Yasha, thankful he wasn't his mate.

Meanwhile, outside, Kouga grabbed Sesshoumaru by the back of the head and knocked it a good one against the cold hard tile of the club floor. "I want you to go, and crawl into whatever hell hole you crawled out of. Leave Inu and the boys alone!" Kouga hissed.

The girl darted past the boys and grabbed Sango, whispering into ear the emergency. Sango nodded and dashed back to the room, with Kagome picking up the rear before a hand darted out and grabbed her. She yelped out loud before she realized it was only Nazuna wanting answers.

Sesshoumaru laid there under Kouga's mercy. "I will not!" he yelled and soon got a swift kick to the ribs from a pissed off Miroku.

"I warned you to leave everyone alone," he raised his foot into the air and brought it down onto the silver man's ribs causing his to cry out. "I'm going to break your ribs just like you did Yasha's" Miroku growled as he raised his foot and dropped it again onto Sesshoumaru's ribs.

Kagome heard Sesshoumaru's cry and whipped around to see Miroku on him. She pulled away and ran over to drag him back from Sesshoumaru. "Miroku! You can't just start beating the shit out of him like that!"

Miroku glared at the man. "Why not, that's how he does Yasha!"

Kouga got off Sesshoumaru and looked down at him. Sesshoumaru laid there holding his ribs and licking at a busted lip. "Inu Yasha will pay for this, I hope you know," he growled out as he stood and headed for the door.

Kagome turned and looked at Miroku furiously. "Miroku! By doing that--" She growled in frustration and took a deep breath to calm down. Looking up at him again she started over. "You lowered yourself to his level when you did that. You are better than that! I know you are!"

Miroku looked away knowing she was right. "I know," he mumbled.

Soon a loud crash was heard as Inu Yasha kicked through the door.

"Damn it to hell, I'm going to kill who ever locked me in this damn room," he shouted.

Kouga flinched. "Sounds like I am going to have to buy a new door."

Inu Yasha cast a glare around at the group. "Ok, who was it?"

Ryo dashed out of the room and hid behind Soryo. "Kouga, how do you keep him under control?" he asked from behind his lover.

Kouga sighed. "I don't, that's the problem."

Kagome stepped up into the circle of guys, the alcohol still affecting her, but she was basically in control of her body. Turning defiantly towards Inu Yasha she shot him an even glare. "It was me."

Inu Yasha's golden glare turned to her. "YOU!" he yelled and pointed to her "Why in the seven hells did you do that?!"

She arched a brow at him, giving him a do-you-even-need-to-ask look. "So you wouldn't come barging out here screaming and yelling and making an ass out of yourself."

He growled and barred his fangs. "I don't make an ass out of myself, damn it!"

Miroku stepped in between Inu Yasha and Kagome. "I advise you to calm your damn ass down, Inu!" he snapped.

Kagome grinned big and stuck her tongue out at Inu Yasha over Miroku's shoulder.

Inu Yasha growled, and then realized that Master Soryo was glaring daggers at him. "Kouga, I advise you to get your mate under control, before I do," he stated coldly.

Inu Yasha shrank back a bit at his words.

Kagome looked over at Soryo and then at Inu Yasha's shrinking demeanor. Getting serious, she looked down. "Excuse me, Master Soryo, don't blame Inu Yasha. It was my fault for egging him on."

Soryo raised a brow. "But he knows better than to act that way; you haven't been here long enough yet."

The girl nodded. "Yes, but with all do respect, sir, if you are to punish someone, then technically we are both at fault."

Soryo sighed. "Inu Yasha, you must not have another out burst like that tonight, or you will be punished."

Inu Yasha nodded. "Yes, Master Soryo."

Kagome looked over at Inu Yasha and then at Sango who was coming back down the hall from getting lost. The latter girl's brows arching high on her head she eyed Inu Yasha. "For someone who passed out from blood loss, you sure are up and about more than you should be."

Inu grit his teeth together "It was from lack of eating today."He said as nice as he could.

Sango eyed Master Soryo, figured what had gone on and then her gaze fell back to Inu Yasha. She grinned wickedly. She had never been into the vampire stuff, but a long time ago, Ryo had convinced her to come just incase something like what had happened with Inu Yasha, happened.

Sango strolled over to Inu Yasha and patted his back, leading him back to the room. "Well, let me take a look at you just to make sure you're ok, honey, don't want you to pass out again."

Inu Yasha bit his lower lip and nodded. "Alright," he reluctantly agreed.

Kouga smiled. "Now, that's a good boy."

Inu Yasha scowled as he walked down the hall with Sango.

Kagome nodded respectfully at Soryo and Ryo, and then turned to once again find a nice homey spot in the crowd to loose herself in.

Inu Yasha entered Kouga's private room and sat down on the bed. "Ok, lets get this done and over with," he said as he crossed his arms across his chest.

Sango sat down on the bed beside him. "Hell, you're fine, if you can move around like you did out there than you'll live." Turning to him, she arched a brow. "What I do want to know, is what really happened. I've been here long enough to know that Kouga never drains too much."

"It was an accident, no big thing, ok?" he said as his eyes looked around the room.

"Did you, perhaps, have a certain employee drain blood from you?"

Inu Yasha frowned. "Listen, if that was to be found out by Kouga or Soryo, she and I would both be in a world of trouble."

She nodded. "I know."

He sighed. "I got drained by two people, and I didn't eat anything today, so that's what I think is the reason for me passing out."

Sango nodded again. "I know that's the reason you passed out. Now tell me why you did it."

Inu Yasha looked at her. "What do you mean, why did I do it?"

She smiled up at him. "If you know the consequences, why did you do it?"

"Because she wanted to bite me back for the time I bit her," he said.

A strange look crossed Sango's features. "So what's yawl's plan for when Soryo confronts ya about what happened?"

"If he was going to confront me he would have already," Inu Yasha said as he stood up. "He thinks Kouga drained a bit too much from me, so let's leave it at that."

The girl shook her head. " I don't know what you take Soryo for, but he ain't stupid, and when he sees a girl lunge for his fellow vamp-master's mate's neck, and then seconds later, said mate falls unconscious, he isn't' going to think she was kissing your booboo better."

Inu Yasha swallowed hard. "Don't tell me he saw that." He sat back down on the bed and held his head in his hands.

Sango nodded a dead serious look on her face. "You bet your sweet ass he did. I was standing right there by him when it happened."

He groaned. "Oh, I am in so much trouble right now, that it isn't even funny."

The nurse dead panned Inu Yasha. "Not only you, Yash."

Inu Yasha raised his head up with a shot. "Oh god, Kagome."

Sango sat up straight. "What do you think they'll do about this whole thing? I don't know what the punishments are."

Inu Yasha growled. "A public beating."

The girl's brows arched and she whistled low. "Well, just hope Soryo doesn't find out you bit her first, because that much he doesn't know yet."

He gritted his teeth in worry. "I will take her punishment for her, if I have to."

Sango threw back her head and laughed. "If you think that Kagome is going to lie down and accept her punishment with open arms, you seriously have misjudged the girl. Knowing her, she's going to jump up, bend Soryo over her knee, de-pants him, and then whip his bare ass raw for hitting a woman, much less her."

Inu Yasha ran his hand through his hair. "I won't let her; I will take the punishment when she isn't around."

Looking dead at him, Sango eyed Inu Yasha. "Inu Yasha, if I hadn't have taken you off when I did he would have nailed your ass for it then. Kagome isn't the one who passed out and is in need of being checked over by a nurse. He damn sure isn't going to wait to confront her."

Inu Yasha jumped up from the bed. "Damn it!" he ran out the door and down the hall, looking for Kagome.

Kagome gave a smile to Ryo and Soryo who were fast approaching her. "Hello, Ryo." She nodded towards them. "Master Soryo."

Ryo smiled "Hello, Kagome."

Soryo looked rather displeased. "Kagome, you're new to the world of the vampire, and what I saw earlier with you and Inu Yasha; I don't like it," he said as he eyed the girl.

The girl's eyes widened slightly. "M-Master Soryo?" she stammered.

Soryo stared her down as Ryo stood by his side looking rather confused. "So, my eyes didn't deceive me," Soryo stated in a icy voice.

Inu Yasha looked around the crowd, trying to find Kagome. "Oh shit, where is she?" he asked himself.

Kagome lowered her gaze to the ground in front of her. Miroku had told her about the punishments of this place. They weren't lenient at all about these things. Inu Yasha couldn't take a beating right now. He had passed out from blood loss, was recovering from jet lag and the night before, on top of his injuries from his fight with his brother. Kagome, keeping her eyes lowered thought quickly on how to best respond to Soryo.

"Master Soryo, this time, unlike when Inu Yasha threw a fit about being locked up, was entirely my fault." The girl lifted her head but did not look Soryo in the eye. "I didn't ask permission to bite Inu Yasha. I was drunk and frustrated, but I am still responsible for my actions."

Soryo's face was dead serious. "You are new to this, I will let you get off with a warning, but Inu, on the other hand, will be punished; he knew better."

Ryo looked worried. "Soryo, please, dont?" he begged.

"Ryo, unless you want the same, I advise you to stay silent," Soryo snapped at his mate. Ryo shrank back and did as he was told.

Kagome looked defiantly up at Soryo. "He knew better than what? He did nothing at all, plus he tried to stop me!" The girl's eyes alight, with fire, glittered in the dim lighting. "You are right, I do not know much about this world, but I was previously informed of the consequences of such an act. What I did was in direct defiance to rules and regulations, and Inu Yasha did nothing to instigate it."

"Kagome, don't lie!" Inu Yasha yelled out. "You know that's not so!"

Soryo turned to look at Inu Yasha's approaching form. "You will be punished for this defiance, Inu Yasha."

Ryo stood there, being quiet, but worry was on his face for his friend.

Hearing Inu Yasha's voice, Kagome's head shot up. Her eyes darkened and she stepped in between Soryo and Inu Yasha, facing the latter. With a firm tone and stiff demeanor, yet with pleading eyes to Inu Yasha, Kagome spoke. "Inu Yasha, just because you are my employer does not mean you have to protect me. I knew what I was doing, and you did too, which is why you tried to stop me. It was my own fault for taking advantage of your weakened state."

Inu Yasha glared at her. "You can't take advantage of the willing, Kagome!" he shot back.

Soryo was fuming. "Inu Yasha, enough, it has been decided, before you leave tonight, you will be punished!" he snapped at the younger vampire, showing his fangs in a vicious manner. Ryo looked frightened; he never saw Soryo this mad.

Inu Yasha bowed his head. "Yes, Master Soryo."

The girl turned to Soryo. "Please do not punish him for wanting to protect me, Master Soryo!" she begged, desperation showing in her eyes.

Soryo turned. "It's been decided, Kagome. No more room for discussion." With that, he took Ryo's arm and walked off into the crowd to socialize with the others.
