Chapter 16: I'm being kidnapped be who?

Kagome, Sango and Shippo had been resting at Kaede's for a week now and the were all bored as hell. Shippo was coloring with what was left of the crayons and paper that Kagome had brought back from her time for him. Sango was polishing her weapon for the n-teenth time today. It was all driving Kagome insane. She couldn't take it anymore. Getting up and dusting herself off she looked over to her friends. "I'm going to pick flowers by the well", she called out to her friends. Shippo and Sango both nodded thier head with out looking up. Kagome sighed as she exited the stuffy hut and made her way towards the Bone-Eaters well.
Kagome was humming some random tune, lost in her own thoughts, when she tripped over a raised root. She managed to catch herself before she did a face plant into the dirt. Mumbling as she straightened up, looking around, she didn't have a clue where she was. She looked around for a moment when it hit her. Her own feet had betrayed her. She walked over and stood in front of the tree that had started all her problems. She had just gotten herself to forget it all when it all came flooding back. 'The Sacred God tree.' she thought. She walked over to the tree and placed her hand on the trunk. She closed her eyes, fighting the tears. "Inuyasha.." she whispered. Feeling a slight wind behind her, she began to turn around. As she turned to find who had distrubed her moment, here eyes met with a pair of golden orbs. 'Inuyasha?' she thought. At that moment she lost her balance and would have fallen back if a pair of strong arms hadn't caught her. As she regained her bearings, she realized that her savior hadn't let her go yet. She swept her bangs out of her eyes. "You can let me go now.." She looked up to realize that the person who was holding her was.. "Sesshomaru?!"
