A few hours before sunrise, Inuyasha returned to Kagomes window sill. Her light was still on. He peeked in her window and saw her sitting at her desk. She was playing with the locket that Hojo was examining earlier the day before.

An hour passed and the 2 never said anything, Kagome at her desk and Inuyasha hidden beneath the window sill. Kagome was the first to make a move.

She stood and opened the locket.

“I don't know if what i'm doing tomorrow is right, but wondering about this isn't helping”.

Kagome dropped the necklace into the waste basket.

“I guess I won't sleep tonight either. I Suppose I'll have some Coffee”.

Kagome walked out of the room quietly. Inuyasha letting his curiosity get the better of him Opened the cracked window fully and jumped inside

The room remained the same as it had three years ago.

Remembering what he had originally entered the room for Inuyasha looked down into the waste basket and retrieved the locket. Inside was a picture of him and Kagome.

Inuyasha felt a tight pain in his chest.

Kagome made her way back up the stairs with her coffee. Kagome noticed her room was dark.

“Strange, I don't remember turning off the light” kagome said in a hushed voice. She opened her door and made a movement to switch on the light.

“Please don't turn it on”.

Kagome dropped her coffee the hot liqued fell on her feet.

“AHHH” kagome yelled in pain.

A figure in the moons shadow moved quickly toward her. Kagome fell back against the door and it shut with a load thud.

“Kagome”? Kagomes mother called from down the hall.

Inuyasha placed his hand over Kagomes mouth. Foot steps moved down the hall and Inuyasha grabbed kagome and moved swiftly into the closet. Seconds after inuyasha shut the door Kagomes mother stepped in.

“Now where is that girl? Hmmm it must have been the wind from the open window slamming the door”. Kagomes mother closed the window and walked back out of the room shutting the door behind her.

Neither kagome nor Inuyasha moved for several minutes. Reluctantly inuyasha opened the door, stepped out and moved back near the window. Now that he was in the moonlight kagome could see who had broken into her room.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome spoke with disbelieve in her voice.

“I assume since my picture was in the trash not who you really want to see right now”.

Kagome moved closer to him. She touched his sleeve and then an ear.

“How did you get here? I sealed the well”.

Inuyashas face turned from soft to angry.

“Yeah I noticed you sealed the well. What the hell were you thinking making me wait three years. I was about to give up on you”.

Kagomes eyes welled up with tears.

“Why did you wait three years? Didn't you already have Kikyo”?

An angry Inuyasha rushed at Kagome knocking her down onto her bed. Inuyasha with his hands on either side of her looked straight into Kagomes Eyes.

“And what makes you think id chose her over you”?

Kagome removed her gaze from inuyashas.

“That last time we fought Naraku, you saved Kikyo instead of me.”

Inuyasha backed off a little and sat next to Kagome.

“I saved her because wolf boy was already headed for you and she was the only one who could destroy the Shikon Jewel. I didn't save her because I wanted to be with her. Shortly after you left she left to. Did I go chasing after her like some love struck creep? NO I stayed and sat by that damn well for three years”.

Kagome couldn't stop the tears that were streaming down her face.

“Do you love him? Do you really want to marry this guy? If that's the case then I'll go”.

Inuyasha made his way toward the window. Kagome jumped up

“No wait don't go inuyasha I need you”.

Kagome continued to cry and her breath became shallower. She tried to reach out for inuyasha, but the lack of sleep had finally caught up with her. His face faded to black and kagome fell back.

Inuyasha Caught kagome in his arms.

“So you don't want me to leave you eh? Well I suppose I'll just have to take you with me. Inuyasha leapt from the window and with a sleeping kagome in his arms passed through the well once again.
