Kagome was tempted to knock the hell out of Inuyasha. He was taking his role as her lover a little too seriously. They had to make it look real but he was touching her a little too long, touching her when he didn’t have too. To make matters worse, his touch gave her chills. And not cold ones. They had rehearsed the play twice a week and he seemed to annoy her more and more. She had never spent so much time with him in all the time that she’d known him. And for some reason, the more time she spent with him the more she noticed certain things about him.
His eyes were deep amber, crystal like in their intensity. His hair looked so soft and she remembered what it had felt like beneath her fingers.
“I’m in so much trouble.” She groaned out.
“Hmm? What, Kagome?” Kouga glanced over at her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
“Oh, nothing. I was just thinking out loud.” She felt Kouga inch closer and then his arms surrounded her from behind, his lips sliding over the side of her neck.
“Kagome…come on…one more time.” He murmured, his teeth nibbing her neck. “It’s been so long.”
They had been together for nine months. They’d only had sex once in that nine months and that had been in the second month of their relationship. She had always wanted to wait but Kouga being Kouga, he was horny as hell and with his urgings, and he’d made her horny as hell, too. One time. One time and then she swore she was going to wait. She hadn’t lied to him. It had been good.
“You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for you to say yes.” He had whispered against her lips. He’d been waiting, wanting to date for months on end before she had finally said yes. He’d lifted her and sat her on the edge of the table and kissed her hard. She had pulled his shirt over his head as he unbuttoned hers.
“Kagome, I need you so much. I can’t wait. Please. Now.” He had shoved her skirt up past her thighs and then quickly unbuttoned his pants and jerked the zipper down. She wasn’t sure where the condom had come from but next thing she knew he was rolling it down the thick length of his cock. He’d pulled her panties down and then stood, his erection springing up from between his legs. He had slammed into her body, forcing his cock past the barrier there. The table rocked from his thrust and she had grabbed ahold of his shoulders to steady herself. It didn’t take long, 10 minutes, before she was coming apart in his arms and then he was following.
The next day when she had come into school, Inuyahsa had looked at her strangely and then wrinkled his nose. A strange, dark look had entered his eyes. She had always wondered if he had known…
“Good things come to boys who wait.” She turned her head and kissed Kouga. When would he learn that sex wasn’t important? It was alright but not everything.
He growled against her lips teasingly. “Alright, baby. Just for you, I’ll wait.” He didn’t want to wait but he knew she couldn’t hold out against him forever. He knew her weak spots, places that would turn her into a wild cat.
“Maybe we don’t want to keep—“ Kagome started but Inuyasha grabbed her chin and jerked her face back around to his with a wicked grin on his face. “Got ya, teach.” He said right before he kissed her. He tilted his head, grinding his lips against hers and speared his hands into her dark, silken hair. She tried to pull back but he tightened his grip and pushed his tongue past her soft lips.
He growled against her lips. Just that one, guttural sound and she felt fluttering warmth settle in the pit of her stomach. He growled again and her head spun. That sound vibrated all the way into her mouth and into her stomach. She sank against him, her mind going blank, her fingers curling around the armrests of the chairs. She didn’t know how it happened or when but his tongue was thrusting into her mouth and she was following, her tongue curling around his. They both missed whatever it was that Kouga said and then Kagura. Miroku whistled and Sango popped him upside the head.
Kouga stood and began stalking towards the stage. Calm. Very, very calm. Inuyasha was kissing his girlfriend just a little too much and if what he was seeing was right, his girlfriend was participating just a little but too much. But he had to be wrong. He knew Kagome didn’t like Inuyasha. Before he could make the stairs of the stage, Kagura beat him to it. She slammed a ruler down on the back of the chair Inuyasha and Kagome were in.
Kagome jerked back instantly, her eyes flaring wide, her lips swollen from the kiss. The look, well, his lips mimicked hers. Except the look on his face was smug.
“None of that. You knew that wasn’t what I meant, Inuyasha. A simple peck on the lips is allowed but that is not.” She walked around the chair and pushed Kagome up closer to Inuyasha, pressing her against his chest. Kouga growled and behind Kagomes back Inuyasha lifted his middle finger up and grinned.
Through it all, through her pounding heart—she was pissed.
“Now say…” Kagura glanced down at the script in her hand. “On, Inuyasha.”
Kagome frowned. “Oh Inuyasha?”
"Now...Say..." Kagura glanced down at the script in her hand. "Oh Inuyasha." She didn't mean to say Inuyasha’s name. She had meant to say Darius.
Kagome frowned. "Oh Inuyasha?"
She waved her hand. “I meant ‘Darius’. More, Kagome. More passion. MORE.”
Kagome rolled her eyes but lowered her voice none the less so that it sounded breathless. She moved closer and buried her face against his neck. For the first time she noticed that he smelled good, too. “Ooh…Inuyasha…” She whispered.
She stiffened as she heard felt a deep chuckle vibrate in his chest and then his hand was beneath her chin and tilting her head back. “Darlin’, I knew you would be calling my name like that someday.” Her eyes narrowed as she gasped and jerked back, nearly falling off his lap before she caught herself and climbed off slowly.
“Can’t you two keep your differences off the stage?”
“Yes.” They both said at the same time while Kouga said, “No.”
Kagome ran a hand over her face. She really wanted to keep this lead role. “We can all work this out, I promise.” She said, her eyes begging. She thought Kouga was still going to argue it out but then he nodded, clearly aggravated. However, she wasn’t quiet done. She walked over to Inuyasha and poked him in the chest with her index finger. “Keep your hands to yourself.” She whispered just low enough that Kouga wouldn’t hear. Still, she knew that Kouga knew that she and Inuyasha had briefly exchanged words there.
The thing was, no one had seen what Inuyasha had been doing while they were practicing. His hands had kept wandering—or tried to—and she’d repeatedly had to pinch him to keep his hands in check. Not that it had done much good. His hands had kept skimming up her legs but he never went too far. He just kept teasing her.
Inuyasha threw his hands up in the air. “Baby, if I could I would.”
She rolled her eyes and groaned. Didn’t he realize that Kouga was her boyfriend and standing just off the stage? Was he trying to start a riot between the two? She jumped off the stage and Kouga was there in an instant, wrapping an arm around her waist. Inuyasha left backstage and Sango ran up to meet her as Miroku whistled again.
“Wow, Kagome! That looked like quiet the kiss there. Looked like you were enjoying it, too.” Miroku started but Sango punched him in the arm. “Ow!”
She rolled her eyes. “It’s called acting, Miroku, remember?” Now that was a bold faced lie. She hadn’t been acting that kiss out and that was what pissed her off. All she knew was that he had been kissing her and then he’d growled and she was kissing him back. It was a simple as that. As simple as confusing could get. She waved Miroku off. “Come on, let’s get out of here. It’s Friday night and I sure as hell don’t want to stay here. Let’s go get something to eat.”

“Inuyasha! Kagome! That isn’t good enough. If I don’t believe it, then how is the audience going to believe it? This just isn’t working. I see nothing.” Kagura jabbed her finger down onto her clipboard as she stared at the two on the stage. “If you two want to keep these roles then I suggest you start working harder.”“Maybe we don’t want to keep—“ Kagome started but Inuyasha grabbed her chin and jerked her face back around to his with a wicked grin on his face. “Got ya, teach.” He said right before he kissed her.
