Disclaimer – I hope that by my readers not reviewing that means that my story is fine. So we all know that I do not own Inuyasha. Now that that is out of the way I would like to thank my reviewer for her input. INU/KAG/SESS it is!!!!! Inuyasha deserves to be happy. I mean most of the stories I read with him in them he is a prick or worse.
Review:
Kagome dropped a kiss on Inuyasha’s head then headed out the door. She smiled when she stepped outside and noticed that Sango and Miroku were sitting underneath a tree speaking to each other. Shaking her head she turned and headed towards the hot spring that was not to far from the village.
She prayed that she would not run into any one along the way. While she was able to defend herself she did not wish to fight anyone. Sighing Kagome continued on her way unaware of a pair of golden eyes following her every movement.

>Sesshoumaru<
He knew that it was ungentlemanly like to spy on a woman bathing but it was not as if he hadn’t done it before. Sesshoumaru would never admit to the fact that he was aroused by the human miko known as Kagome but he would admit that she was acceptable for a human. His beast on the other hand wanted nothing more than to join her for her bath.
Sesshoumaru had traveled back just in time to find out that she had visited Totosai in her time. Though he was unable to see the sword he could feel its power all the way to the tree line outside the village. The only reason he had left was he needed to tell Jaken to retrieve Rin from the castle along with Ah-Un. Sesshoumaru had come up with a plan to join the small shard group in their travels to defeat Naraku. Also he wanted to learn more about the miko known as Kagome.
Thus the reason he was now peeking at her while she bathed. He knew that most humans in this time did not see the need to bath every day however this onna did. That fact alone intrigued him about her. Her scent was always the same except what he decided was the scent of the soap she used on her body and hair.
However there was once scent that the miko no longer carried. The scent of decay that humans have the moment they are born to this world. Shaking his head he jumped into a near by tree that had enough cover to hid him as he watched the onna strip herself and walk into the hot spring.
>Kagome<
Kagome sighed as she sat down in the heated water. Sighing she dunked her hair under the water then went over and grabbed her shampoo along with her conditioner. She poured a small amount into her hand then let the bottle float in front of her. Kagome lathered her hair. She hummed a little tune while she scrubbed her hair.
Once it was done she rinsed the suds out then grabbed her conditioner. It took less than her shampoo. When she got the amount she needed she placed the two bottles on a rock near the spring. It took no time for her to finish her hair and begin on cleaning the dirt from her body.
When she finally decided that she was clean she got out of the spring and grabbed her towel. She wrapped her hair and used her energy to dry her body. Smiling when she was dry she went over and picked up her kimono. It was clean as the day that Totosai had given it to her. Kagome could not understand how it kept itself clean but she didn’t complain. That just made less laundry to do when she traveled. Other than extra panties, socks and bras, she had no need for other clothing.
After she put her things away she picked her bag up and slung it over her shoulder. As she started to walk towards the village she could feel something tugging at her senses. Frowning she let her aura scan the area. Kagome turned with her hands on her hips as she faced the tree line where she felt a peeping tom.
“You can come out now Lord Sesshoumaru.” Kagome called to the hidden lord. “Do you not know it is wrong to spy on a lady who is bathing?”
Sesshoumaru was surprised when the miko was able to notice his presence since he had hid both his aura and scent. Smirking he jumped out of the tree and walked into the clearing. Sesshoumaru was very intrigued at the fact that she was able to feel him. Even the most talented miko’s were still unable to find him if he hid bother aura and scent.
Kagome didn’t know if she should be pissed or embarrassed. She had just finished her bath and come to find out she had a peeping tom the whole time. She could tell that the lord of the west had been watching from the flush of his skin. Vaguely she wondered if he found her interesting. Mentally slapping herself she waited for the over grown puppy to speak.
“How did you know that This Sesshoumaru was there, Miko?” Sesshoumaru had stopped about a foot from her obliviously ignoring her question.
Kagome crossed her arms across her chest and looked up at the demon lord. “If you hadn’t noticed I have been gone for two years. In that time I trained my power as well as physically.” Kagome smirked when Sesshoumaru narrowed his gaze at her. “I might be able to take you on now.”
“Hn.” Sesshoumaru looked her up and down then turned and walked away leaving a very confused Kagome behind.
Kagome just stood there for a moment and watched as the demon lord walk away from her. ‘Was that all he wanted?!?’ Kagome asked herself. Shaking her head she headed back to the village. She couldn’t help but smile knowing that Inuyasha finally admitted his feelings for her. Yes, she was sad for Kikyo however she had died over 50 years ago.
>Sesshoumaru<
Sesshoumaru had to leave before he picked the miko up and kissed her senseless. Just the way she held herself made something in his blood heat. He could not understand what in the onna made his primal urges emerge. He knew that his beast had been enamored by the miko since she had removed Tetsaiga from his fathers tomb and handed it to his brother with him standing right there.
He had heard that they would be leaving sometime in the morning so he had plenty of time to retrieve Rin, Jaken and Ah-Un. Sesshoumaru knew that Jaken would not fail him in retrieving the girl and dragon. The little toad had been faithful to him for over two centuries. In fact it was Jaken that found out that his brother had been sealed to a tree.
Sesshoumaru stopped when he caught the scent of flowers. Rin was near by. He could smell his daughter almost three miles away. Smiling softly he watched in the distance as a 13 year old Rin came running up to him. Rin stopped about two feet from him.
“Lord Sesshoumaru, Jaken said that you told him to retrieve us.” Rin smiled up at him. “Did something happen?”
“No Rin. Nothing happened.” Sesshoumaru placed a hand on her shoulder. Rin frowned. “You told me the last time that if I saw the miko you wished to visit. Did This Sesshoumaru assume wrong?”
Rin squealed. “Kagome-sama is back!” Sesshoumaru nodded. “Oh thank you Lord Sesshoumaru.” She raised up and kissed him on the cheek.
“You are welcome Rin.” He turned around and headed back towards Edo. “Now come.”
Rin nodded as she hurried after her lord. Jaken and Ah-Un were not to far behind them. Jaken had finally stopped and jumped on the back of the dragon then let the dragon run up to his master and ward. Jaken grinned when he saw his master and Rin. At first the girl was a pest however she always kept their spirits up when she was around. Now neither toad or Inu would let anything happen to the child.
>Kagome<
Kagome breathed a sigh of relief as she made her way to the hut. Inuyasha was out somewhere while Sango and Miroku were out catching fish for dinner. Kagome could see Shippou playing with the children in the village. She was glad that this was one of the few villages that allowed Shippou around their children.
She knew that she was the main reason that the villagers were calm about Shippou being around. Even though he is a youkai they had watched him grow up. Kagome entered the hut and grinned when she saw Kaeda fixing a stew. Putting her bag away she looked over at Kaeda.
“Do you need any help?” Kagome asked.
Kaeda looked up from her work. “Yes child. There are some herbs that need to be replenished.” Kaeda pointed over to where her herb jars were located.
Kagome nodded as made her way over to it. She quickly noted which ones Kaeda needed then picked up the herb basket and headed out the door. She didn’t stop to see if Shippou wanted to join because he looked busy with the other kids. Smiling she made her way pass the fields and towards the field where Kaeda had her herbs planted.
As she started to pick the herbs that was needed she heard a scream from the east. Kagome dropped the basket and ran towards the scream. She could tell that it was a female however she did not know what had made the woman scream. Running as fast as she could she ran through the wood ignoring the stinging from when the branches would scrap her skin.
Kagome knew she was close when she felt an ominous aura surrounding the area. She sniffed the air and smelled something almost the same as acid. It burned her nose that it made her almost physically sick. Then she smelled something that made her pick her speed up.
The scent of a lightening storm along with flowers were mixing with the acid smell. Finally Kagome placed all three scents. The acid smell was from the miasma from Naraku. The lightening storm was Sesshoumaru and the flowers could only mean one person. Rin. Knowing that it was Rin that screamed she pushed herself faster.
>Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku<
“Do you think that Kagome will like it?” Inuyasha asked as he looked towards his two friends.
Sango nodded. “Of course, Inuyasha. Kagome loves you very much.” She looked at the three roomed hut that Inuyasha had started about three days ago.
“I have to agree with Lady Sango.” Miroku walked up next to Sango. “The hut is very nice.”
The ‘hut’ was only the foundation and the main walls but you could tell that it would be large. It was off the beaten path and close to the hot springs that Kagome loved so much. The rooms were about twice as big as a normal hut. Inuyasha told them that Kagome liked her space.
They all stood there for a moment before they heard a scream. Inuyasha sniffed the air and growled. Sango looked over at her hanyou friend. Miroku also kept his eyes on Inuyasha.
“What is it?” Sango asked finally.
“Naraku.” Inuyasha said first. “Also my bastard brother along with that girl.”
They all knew that a young girl traveled with Lord Sesshoumaru however none of them knew why. Sango whistled for Kirara as she watched Inuyasha run towards the screaming. Kirara finally came bursting through the forest in her big form.
Sango jumped on her back and grabbed Miroku’s hand as Kirara took to the air. Once Miroku was sitting behind Sango they kept their eyes below them on the look out for Inuyasha. When Sango spotted him she told Kirara to keep on his trail. Sango could feel Miroku’s hand on her hips but so far he hadn’t tried to cop a feel. Yet.
