Review:
Kagome smiled and looked at Sesshoumaru. “As long as Kaeda said it was alright then lets go.” Kagome slipped her arm through Sesshoumaru’s right arm while looping the other through Inuyasha's right. “Lead the way, Miroku.”
Miroku smiled and nodded as he turned and headed back to Kaeda's. He had a funny feeling that something was going on with the three of them. Smiling he decided to keep his observations to himself for the time being.

>Kaeda’s hut<
Kaeda smiled as Inuyasha, Kagome and lord Sesshoumaru came into the hut. She had a feeling that the lord of the west had found himself with in the web that was Kagome. She waited til everyone was seated then she filled the bowls. Kagome came over and grabbed two bowls while Sango came over and grabbed two more.
Kagome handed the first bowl to Sesshoumaru then handed the other to Inuyasha. She then went and grabbed her own. Sango handed each bowl to Miroku and Shippou then returned for her own. Rin already had her bowl that Kaeda handed to her. They all ate in silence. The only noises that were around were of Inuyasha slurping his ramen. Kagome snickered every now and then.
Once everyone was done eating Kagome took the bowls to the river to clean. It took her little time to return. She looked over at Inuyasha then at Sesshoumaru. They bot met met her eyes. Kagome smiled then turned and walked out of the hut. Inuyasha jumped up and followed after her. Sesshoumaru followed more slowly.
Kagome headed to the God tree. She knew that they would have privacy if need be. She wondered by the demon lord had been watching her off and on. Kagome wondered why he had peeped on her while she bathed. Shaking her head she was able to make it to the god tree first. She took a seat on the roots and waited for Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.
Not long after Kagome sat down Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru came into the area. Inuyasha walked over and took a seat next to Kagome while Sesshoumaru sat in front of the two. Kagome looked from Inuyasha to Sesshoumaru. Shrugging she decided to start.
“Alright, Lord Sesshoumaru. You wished to speak to Inuyasha and I.” Kagome could tell that Inuyasha was not happy.
Sesshoumaru nodded. “Indeed This Sesshoumaru wished to speak with both of you. This one would like to propose that we join forces since we both are after Naraku.”
“No way ass hole.” Inuyasha snarled. “You just want the jewel shards.”
Kagome rolled her eyes. “Inuyasha I don’t believe he is after the jewel shards. If he had been after the jewel shards he would of tried to take them already. Isn’t that right Lord Sesshoumaru?” Kagome looked over at the lord.
“That is correct, miko. This one has no need for the Shikon Jewel.” Sesshoumaru looked over at Inuyasha. “This one only believed that it would be easier if we joined. Since we are both after Naraku we are bound to cross paths often. Why not combined the packs?”
“Feh.” Inuyasha looked away. “As long as I am still alpha.”
Kagome rubbed her eyes. She knew that this would also be a problem. While she did understand dog demons she knew about the pack order of the dogs and wolves in her era. Racking her brain she tried to think of something that would help in this situation. Two alphas were trouble within a pack unit.
“You know little brother that This Sesshoumaru is alpha of the pack since father died.” Sesshoumaru offered. “It should only stand that this one would be alpha while you are beta.”
Inuyasha jumped up snarling. “Like hell I’ll be beta. You don’t have an alpha female which means that Kagome would be alpha in the new pack. What are you trying to pull Sesshoumaru?”
Kagome gasped and looked between the two Inus. “What?”
“Since Sesshoumaru doesn’t have an alpha female you would be the alpha in the new pack. If Sesshoumaru is alpha he would have the ability to take you as his mate.” Inuyasha growled. His eyes were trained on his half brother.
Sesshoumaru smirked internally. He thought his brother was rather stupid however this proved that Inuyasha was smarter than anyone gave him credit for. He cut his eyes over to the miko and noticed that she was speechless. He knew only one way for there be two alpha’s with in a pack. The two alpha males would share the alpha female.
“What do you propose then little brother?” Sesshoumaru looked over at Kagome. “That we share her.”
Kagome jumped up between the two Inus. “Now wait a damn minute.” Kagome placed her hands on her hips. “Don’t I get a say in this?”
Sesshoumaru stood up. “No.” He stated bluntly.
Inuyasha growled and drew Tetsaiga. “The hell she don’t. Kagome will be my mate and only mine. No one will take her from me.” Inuyasha wrapped his left arm around Kagome's waist.
Kagome’s temper was flaring. She knew that they needed to join forces however she did not want to be a ‘play toy’ for the two inus. Snarling loudly for a human Kagome flared her aura which made both males move a safe distance away.
They were standing side by side with their eyes trained on her. Sesshoumaru had his stoic mask in place while Inuyasha was staring at her with his mouth hanging open. He had never seen Kagome flare her power that way before.
“Now you two will listen to me.” Kagome stalked towards them. Her eyes glowing gold. “If I am Alpha female then I will make the decisions, GOT THAT!?! Neither of you will take me as a mate unless I want it.” Kagome rounded on Inuyasha.
“As for you dog-boy you know not to claim me unless you ask first. Which you certainly did not. Yes I love you Inuyasha however until you finally ask me the proper way I will not mate you.” Kagome then turned to Sesshoumaru.
“And as for you Lord Fluffy Butt, I distinctly remember you saying that ningens are below you so until you get your ass off the high cloud you are sitting on I will not mate you as well. I want a mate that will take care of me and my children as well as love us. I don’t believe either of you care that way for me.”
With that Kagome turned and stormed off. She needed to calm down before she purified their asses right then and there. Never in all her life had she had to put up with two pompous ass telling her that she would mate both of them. Not that she had a problem with mating Inuyasha, she loved him dearly.
Kagome would even admit that the western lord was also not hard on the eyes. As her friend Ayumi would say ‘the man is a god’ however with his icy attitude he was a real stick in the mud and she would be damned if she would mate with that prick.
Kagome then stopped. “When did Lord Sesshoumaru start to like ningens?” She thought out loud. Shaking her head she continued walking. She didn’t know where she was going she just knew that she needed to get way from those two brothers.
>Inuyasha & Sesshoumaru<
Inuyasha watched as Kagome walked away and out of sight. As soon as he couldn’t see her he turned and snarled at his brother.
“When the hell did you want to mate with a ningen? Or did you forget that Kagome will give you HANYOU pups?” Inuyasha snapped at his half brother.
Sesshoumaru sneered as his brother. “This Sesshoumaru does not have to tell you anything.” With that he started to walk away from Inuyasha.
“The hell you don’t ya bastard!” Inuyasha yelled as he jumped in front of Sesshoumaru. “I want to know why all of a sudden you want Kagome as your mate?” Inuyasha’s hand was on Tetsaiga's hilt.
Sesshoumaru growled at his brother. “That is my business little brother not yours.” With that he continued on around Inuyasha as if he wasn’t even there.
Inuyasha was now really pissed. His own damn brother was trying to take the one woman that wanted him the way he was and not change. Snarling in warning he lunged for his brothers back. However Sesshoumaru could tell that Inuyasha was pissed. As soon as he felt his brother move he side stepped and barely missed Inuyasha's claws.
“Tell me ya bastard.” Inuyasha yelled. “Is it because you cant have Tetsaiga? Why do you have to take the one thing in my life that means everything to me?” Inuyasha ripped the Tetsaiga off his waist and slung it towards his brother. “If you want the damn sword so bad then take it but leave Kagome alone.”
Inuyasha didn’t wait for his brother to answer he turned and ran after Kagome. He knew that if he didn’t have the sword he would turn full youkai but Kagome was the only thing that kept his beast at bay besides the sword. He finally realized that he loved her more than he ever loved Kikyo. Inuyasha just prayed that he wasn’t to late.
>Sesshoumaru<
Sesshoumaru could not believe that his brother would hand over the fang just that easy. Shaking his head he bent and picked it up. He was surprised when the fang did not reject him like it did the first time he had handled it. Smirking he slid the sword in his sash and went after his half brother. He knew that without the fang his brother would turn into a full demon with no conscious.
He had sworn to his father that he would watch out for the boy. Even though Sesshoumaru did not do so in the beginning he would do so now. Starting by telling his brother the reason for his attraction to Kagome. Sighing he caught his brothers scent fairly easy however there was salt mixed in with his scent.
That made Sesshoumaru stop. His brother was crying. Frowning he hurried down the path. Sesshoumaru felt as though something was wrong and he would find out what. Even if it meant that he would take his brother and the miko back to his castle til they worked this out.
>Kagome<
Kagome looked around the area she was standing in and felt as though something was not right. Taking a calming breathe she closed her eyes for a moment to clear her senses. She knew that if she was frightened her fear would over rid her common sense. When a twig snapped Kagome opened her eyes and drew her sword.
Kagome did not see anything but she felt as though something was following her. She let her aura fan over the area and found that there was three youkais closing in her location. Snarling she knew that two of them she knew. Lord Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha however the other one was a complete mystery.
When the unknown youkai entered the clearing Kagome knew exactly what kind it was. The giant Oni had three shards and was about as ugly as the one that Sesshoumaru used when he first attacked Inuyasha. Gritting her teeth she tried to keep her breathing low. This Oni gave off some kind of gas from his breathe.
“Give me the shards.” Its booming voice commanded of her.
Kagome smirked and placed the hand without the sword on her hip. “Now why would I do that?” Kagome rose a black/golden eyebrow.
The creature hissed at her and lunged. Growling Kagome jumped just as its large fist came down in the exact spot where she once stood. Kagome quickly formed her cloud and floated in the air. Her eyes were directly locked on the large Oni’s.
Smirking as she jumped and flipped over his head she brought her sword down however the Oni must of known what she was going to do because as she came down he caught her in his hand. Kagome dropped her sword as the monster closed his hand around her body and squeezed. She let out a scream of pain as the Oni squeezed her once again.
