Disclaimer – I would like to tell you that this chapter will reveal how they all three become mates! Yeah!!! Oh well here is the next chapter that I promised you. Review:
The creature hissed at her and lunged. Growling Kagome jumped just as its large fist came down in the exact spot where she once stood. Kagome quickly formed her cloud and floated in the air. Her eyes were directly locked on the large Oni’s.
Smirking as she jumped and flipped over his head she brought her sword down however the Oni must of known what she was going to do because as she came down he caught her in his hand. Kagome dropped her sword as the monster closed his hand around her body and squeezed. She let out a scream of pain as the Oni squeezed her once again.

Sesshoumaru, being full demon, was able to catch up to Inuyasha. He spared a quick glance at his brother however when they both heard Kagomes scream they decided silently that they would talk after they saved her. Inuyasha was surprised when Sesshoumaru tossed him the Tetsaiga as they ran towards Kagome.
As soon as they reached the area where Kagome was they both let out a growl. The Oni had Kagome in one hand and kept putting pressure which in turn made Kagome scream. Sesshoumaru’s eyes flash red as he watched Kagome finally fall unconscious.
“Brother I will kill the Oni, you get Kagome.” He ordered as he rushed the Oni.
Inuyasha was stunned what Sesshoumaru told him however when Sesshoumaru sliced the arm off that held Kagome his mind went directly to her. Running at full speed he was able to catch her just before she hit the ground. Inuyasha raced to the edge of the clearing when he heard Kagome whisper something.
“What is it Kagome?” He asked as he propped her up against a tree trunk.
“J-Jewel s-shard.....3 of them......chest.” Kagome was able to tell him before she fell unconscious again.
Inuyasha felt his demon blood boil at he looked Kagome over. Her skin was pale and she had numerous bruises forming under her skin. He could tell that she had markings of a demon however she smelled like a hanyou. His attention was drawn back to the present when he heard his brother snarl at him.
Inuyasha dropped his sword as his eyes locked on the Oni. A fierce growl erupted form his throat as his claws lengthened and purple jagged stripes appeared on this cheeks. His eyes were red with a blue pupil.
“You dare hurt my mate.” Inuyasha snarled as he walked slowly towards the Oni.
“She is not touched.” The Oni scoffed. “Plus she has jewel shards.”
“And you think that makes it alright.” Inuyasha lunged towards the Oni.
Sesshoumaru stood back and watched his brother fight the demon. He could tell that Inuyasha felt that Kagome was his thus his beast came through. Sesshoumaru glanced over at Kagome and noticed that she was pale. Knowing that his brother could tend to the Oni he rushed to her side.
When he touched her cheek it was cool. Panicking, which the great lord of the west, never did stripped her of her clothing and opened both his inner and outer hario. Sesshoumaru shivered when her cool body touched his however he pushed his youki out and noticed that a small amount pressed back against his.
Sesshoumaru turned his head back to the fight when he heard a victory howl. Inuyasha still had red eyes however Sesshoumaru knew that some how he was still able to understand what was going on. He watched as Inuyasha picked up three black crystals and wrapped them in some cloth then placed them in his hario.
When Inuyasha looked over to his brother he almost fell from shock. Never in his whole life did he expect to see his brother offer body warmth to a ningen onna. Smirking he walked over to Kagome and Sesshoumaru. He sniffed the air and found that Kagome had been poisoned.
“She has been poisoned.” He looked to his brother as he knelt by them and brushed Kagome’s hair out of her face.
“It seems that there is only one option.” Sesshoumaru looked into his brothers eyes. He let his mask slip as he glanced down at Kagome.

“Inuyasha do you wish for Kagome to be saved?” Sesshoumaru looked at his brother and locked gazes.
Inuyasha glanced down then back up at his brother. “You love her don’t you?” His eyes went down to Kagome.

“What is you answer, Inuyasha?” Sesshoumaru’s voice was on the edge of fear and anger.

After a couple of minutes Inuyasha pulled back followed by Sesshoumaru. He then injected some of his poison into her blood to seal the bond. Inuyasha licked the blood from his mark. Sesshoumaru licked the blood of his then pulled back and looked down at Kagome.

Inuyasha however was stunned. His brother had fallen for his mother and his mother was also a miko. Shaking his head he quickly ran up to his brother. He didn’t know what to say so he kept his mouth shut for the first time in his life. Inuyasha finally understood why Sesshoumaru hated him. Sesshoumaru wanted to be his......... Father?

When they finally made it to the cave that Sesshoumaru lead them to Inuyasha went over to the fur pallet and layed Kagome down gently then turned and looked at Sesshoumaru.
“I’ll go get some food.” With that he ran out of the cave and into the woods to search for some game for him to kill.
Sesshoumaru sighed and looked down at the miko Kagome. Even though she was different she still had some qualities of Izayoi. Shaking to banish the thoughts of the past he went out and gathered the wood he had set at the side of the cave entrance. Carrying an arm load of wood he stacked it then used two stones to make a spark for the fire. It took him only a few moment til they had a descent fire burning in the center of the cave.
Sesshoumaru looked up and noticed that Kagome was shivering. He knew that it was not cold so he went over and let his moko-moko wrap around her. Kagome must of sensed that something warm was near because she reached her arm out and pulled the moko-moko close to her body then sighed and relaxed. Smiling softly he returned to the fire and sat down. Sesshoumaru would wait til Inuyasha came back before he tried to wake her.
>Inuyasha<
Inuyasha had found a couple of boars around the area of the cave and quickly killed both. He took them to a stream to gut and clean them. On his way back he cut limbs from trees to use to cook the meat that was for Kagome. He knew that Sesshoumaru ate his meat raw. Inuyasha also ate some of his food raw however since Kagome had joined he let her cook his meat as to not gross her out.
He kept the furs in case they needed some more to keep her warm. Once he was done with cleaning the meat he used the other pelt and sewed it to use as a bag. When Inuyasha was done he headed back to the cave. He had thought about how his brother would have felt when he watched someone else kiss and love someone that you loved.
Suddenly a picture of Kagome and Kikyo popped into his minds eye. He cringed when he thought about how he treated Kagome when Kikyo was around. Inuyasha paused to think. Was that the reason that Sesshoumaru started to feel something for Kagome? Shaking his head he pushed himself faster. He trusted Sesshoumaru however he didn’t want Kagome to wake up without him there.
When the entrance of the cave came into view he noticed that Sesshoumaru was sitting at the edge of the entrance. Smirking he walked up to the cave while holding up the meat.
“Think this is enough for you.” Inuyasha placed the raw meat that wasn’t cut in front of his brother.
Sesshoumaru was surprised that Inuyasha would know something as trivial as Inu’s being meat eaters. Nodding his thanks he began to eat his meat. Sesshoumaru watched as Inuyasha cooked the meat for himself and Kagome. He had always wondered why the ningens cooked their food.
“Inuyasha why do ningens cook their food?” Sesshoumaru asked as he took another bite of his meat.
Inuyasha looked up from the meat he was cooking. “If they don’t cook their food they get sick.” He told his brother with a shrug. “Kagome knows more as to why.” Inuyasha went back to preparing the meat for Kagome his and his brothers mate.
Inuyasha wondered how she would act when she found out that they had mated her with out her permission. Silently he berated himself for making the decision for her. He knew that Kagome was a very strong woman. Sighing he tried to concentrate on the meat.
