A/N: I just want to let you know, if you don't know already, this is, of course, an Original/Alternate Universe story and there will be some OOCness. Also, you'll learn a little history today.

The four girls came back three hours later with sloppy smiles on their faces. Kagome could only imagine what happened earlier.

She finally remembered that they had a date later that day and when she told them, they squealed so loud that Kagome had to cover her ears.

“Wait, what time did you say they'll be over?” asked Rin.

“Um, at seven,” replied Kagome.

The girls looked at the clock and screamed and Kagome had to cover her ears again.

“That's in ninety minutes!” said Ayami and they made a mad dash to their bedrooms. Kagome just stood there and wondered why the girls were being so wound up about the date. What happened when they were with the boys?

She walked to her room and went to her closet. She went to the bag and pulled out the black jeans. Then she went to a drawer and pulled out a red shirt with a black rose. She went to her mirror and pulled back her hair and let a few strands fall around her face. Then she went to her closet again and pulled out a pair of black sandals. She didn't put any make up on.

Kagome was the first one done. It took the girls the full ninety minutes just to get ready. The doorbell rang at seven and she went to answer it. She opened the door and all five boys were standing there.

“Hey, come on in, the girls are still getting ready,” she told them and stepped aside so the boys would walk in.

She gestured them to the seats in the living room and they sat there in silence until the girls were ready.

Kagome observed the boys around her. InuYasha was wearing casual beige pants with a cotton-knitted, loose, off white shirt with tan sandals.

Sesshomaru was wearing light yellow pants with a light blue polo t-shirt wearing boat shoes.

Koga was wearing brown khakis with a button up blue long sleeved shirt. A few buttons on the top were undone and the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. On his feet were sandals.

Miroku was wearing a plum, silk, t-shirt with navy pants. He too wore sandals.

Shippo was wearing green pants with a dark blue t-shirt. He wore flip-flops.

Kagome felt very uncomfortable being surrounded by superior beings. She knew that Sesshomaru already graduated high school and that he was InuYasha's half brother.

`Are they done yet? Please let them be done,' she pleaded in her mind. Her wish was granted when the girls walked into the living room. They were smiling.

Sango was wearing a pink mini shirt with a black tank top. She had her hair down, but had a bow done near the end of her hair. She wore pink high heels.

Rin was wearing a yellow sundress with brown sandals. She had a small ponytail on the left side of her head.

Souten was wearing a black dress that went down to her knees. She wore high-heeled boots that went up to her ankles. Since her hair was short, she wore barrettes on each side of her head to keep the hair out of her face.

Ayami wore a white sundress wearing white, low-heeled shoes. She had pigtails and wore a flower in her left pigtail.

Kagome never felt more outdone.

“Well, let's get going,” said InuYasha. He stood up and the others followed him to a limo. Wait a minute…a limo?!

`Is he rich or something?' Kagome asked herself. She went in and just so happened sat next to InuYasha. When she looked at him, she looked back down and blushed. InuYasha caught her blushing and smiled wryly.

“So, where are we going?” asked Souten. She sat next to Shippo and he put his arm around her shoulder.

“We're going to a new restaurant called the `Moonlight Café,'” answered Shippo.

“But isn't that place expensive?” asked Rin.

“Keh, don't worry about it,” was the answer from the man sitting next to Kagome.

They arrived fifteen minutes later. The seats were already reserved, so the waiter guided them to it.

“This is so classy and upscale. InuYasha, what does your parents do for a living?” asked Kagome.

“My parents are big shot lawyers,” answered InuYasha

“Are all of your parents rich?” asked Kagome to everyone and everyone nodded their heads. Kagome never felt more out of place than before.

Everyone was looking in the menus. There were so many good foods in the menu that Kagome couldn't decide. So, she decided on a simple chef's choice with French dressing. She didn't want anyone to see her eating a lot.

The waiter came and wrote down what everyone wanted. Then he left and everyone started talking to their dates.

“So, how is the book?” asked InuYasha.

“I finished it before you guys came. It's very good and interesting. She was the eighth daughter of Emperor Ninko, the 120th ruler of Japan. What's sad is that they don't know who her mother is, or is unknown, but they think she is a woman named Masako, who is the mother of Kazunomiya's older brother, Ninko's fourth son. Emperor Ninko died the same year she was born, 1846.

She grew up in the Imperial Court in Kyoto, where her older brother held court. She loved the arts and she danced and sang, but most importantly, she was a poet. She mostly wrote down her life and her history in poetic form. Plus, she took her appearance seriously. She owned countless articles of clothing and was devoted to her hair.

I am going to skip the rest of her life until she was married. She married Iemochi in 1862 when she was sixteen years old. She mostly lived at Edo Castle with her mother-in-law, Jitsusei-in. She wrote over 300 wakas.

Her husband was more interested in the fate of shogunate than his wife. He was an older man and fell in distress when his realized his marriage in the imperial princess could not save his authority of the Bakufu, the shogunate. In the year of 1867, when Kazunomiya was 22, he died. She suffered another loss when her brother, Emperor Komei, died in Kyoto.

They continued living at the castle until May 3, 1868. The Kagun, the revolutionary military regime was intending to topple the shogunate forever. The princess and her mother-in-law fled, along with the other women of the castle, and found refuge at the Shimizu house.

That same year, Kazunomiya vowed to be a nun and entered a Buddhist convent. She was not used to the simple life of the less fortunate. She then experienced the world of Japanese people that she had never experienced before. She lived as a Buddhist nun for nine years, dying childless and abandoned at the age of thirty-one in 1877. She was the chief victim of the Meiji Restoration.” Kagome took a deep breath.

She saw that the whole table went quiet when she was telling what she learned from the book. She took a part out of book since she didn't want to talk so much about it. Then the food came out and they started to eat.

Then they were down and the waiter asked if anyone wanted any dessert and everyone said no, including Kagome, even though she was still hungry. Her stomach growled and InuYasha heard it.

“If you're still hungry, then get dessert,” said InuYasha.

“No, its okay, I'll survive,” said Kagome.

“Damnit Kagome, just feed your big stomach!” said InuYasha.

Everyone that was talking at the table was quiet. Miroku and Sango were looking directly at Kagome and the others were looking directly at InuYasha.

Kagome stood up and yelled, “You big jerk! You are like the rest of them!” She picked up her glass of water and dumped it on him and fled. The whole restaurant was looking at the table. The four couples blushed.

Kagome ran out and hailed a taxi. She got in and told the cab driver where to drop her. When she arrived at the condo, she went straight inside and went to the phone. She called her mom.

“Mom, can you pick me up tomorrow please? I don't want to talk about it,” she said and hung up.

She went to her room crying and packing her things and when she was done, she went to sleep, still crying.

~~~I will reply to the reviews thus far:
crystalclearangel-I know you aren't rushing me and I am glad that you will enjoy the reading a lot.
Kaosu_the_insane_kitsune_goddess-Your welcome. This is a different story and it is special to me and to the other people I bet.
Akihana-Te only reason I update sooner is that I have an idea in my head and I write it down and then put it up. InuYasha is getting nicer, but you have to wait a little while. I don't like tube tops either nor bikinis. What happened to decency?
Angel_4_life-Oh that was a definite turn of events.
Max927-I know that 148 pounds isn't that much, but most people think it is. I am glad you like the story.
InuGrrrl-Umm, did this chapter answer your question?
Virgo-Thank you for loving my story, I will write, write, write as much as I can.
