A/N: Okay, I'm back…sorry about the long delay…but work was totally harsh. Well either way, Inu and co don't belong to me…although I wish he did...hehe.

"WHAT!!!...They dare to attack what's MINE!!" Inu yasha yells as he get up to run out the door.

"Do you need assistance brother" Sesshomaru asks his brother as he went to leave the room

"Come if you will, but the bastards are dead" he answered as he ran out room.

"Sesshomaru, don't worry…your brother will be fine, besides I believe Lady Rin, was looking for you earlier…you might want to stay close to your mate at this time" said his mother with a soft smile walking towards her oldest son. "Besides you know better then anyone he's never alone, Miroku will be by his side. Have faith my son, you brother is just as strong as you" she laughs and kisses him softly on the cheek before leaving the room.

Sesshomaru looks at his mother in question "at this time? What did she mean Father?" when he sensed him beside him

"Ha-ha, she means my son. You mate as something to tell you and show you in about 6 months" patting his son as he walked away still laughing at the face his sons was making

"A pup? Could it be?" he whispers before running off to find his mate.

In front of the Castle

Dame, where could she be…? I don't know her scent? Inuyasha said to himself trying to figure out what way to go

"Hey Inu, your lady would be on the main road…go straight" a voice said from behind him

"Grrr…Miroku, why are you here" He said as he turned towards his friend and the captain of the army.

"Sheesh Inu, I knew you where slow at times ...but this is just sad…I'm here to help, you don't know what the state of things are so you might need my help…besides ...Where you go I go…no questions asked" Miroku said as he moved his horse beside Inuyasha.

"Feh, fine…but if you get lost…I'm not slowing down" Inuyasha said as he looked over at his friend with a rare smile, "Lets GO!" and they both took off towards Kagome carriage

Somewhere East of the Western Lands

"SANGO…where are you?"Cried Kagome as she tried to find her friend in the middle of the attack. That started just a few minutes ago. She was supposed to stay the carriage but she knew she couldn't let her friend become hurt. Oh Sango, please be alright…I need you by myside...oh please

Kagome rounded the carriage and gasped at what she saw. What looked like twenty or more lower class youkai were attacking the small soldiers that her father insisted she bring…and were winning? `Oh My God, why?" she whispers as she sees then men fighting for their lives as well as for their ladies. "SANGO"she yells one more time, hoping at she will find her soon.

"My lady, what are you doing…get back inside… it's to dangerous for you…my l-ady" one of the soldiers closest to her whispered as he lay dying from the wounds he received form one of the monsters. "Please my lady...you must stay safe…I'm sorry I could not pro…tec..t" she ran to the soldier as he died before he could finish… "NOOO..why are they doing this…I've done nothing to them…oh why" she cried into the now dead soldier

Then looked up when she saw a huge shadow surround her..and screamed ducking into the soldier

Kaze no Kizu!! (Cutting Wind)

Kagome looked up think this was it…she was going to die by this huge ugly demon..but was shocked to see a very cute but pissed off dog demon… inuyasha???

"Are you alright? Did it hurt you?" the dog-demon asked

"f-ine..i think …yes I'm fine ..thank you" Kagome answered still looking at him with huge eyes "are you …I mean ..are you Inuyasha" she nervously asked looking down now at the remains of the now destroyed youkai and shuddered

"Feh, yeah..and your Kagome" Inuyasha said as he walked over to her to make sure she was alright " you have blood on you…where are you hurt?" he asked as he kneeled beside her. He was startled when she rocketed in his chest with a sob…. "it's not mine…the soldier…he was trying to save me…oh why is this happening" she cried.

Inuyasha not really knowing what to do, but put his arms around her. It worked…she stopped crying…humans such strange creatures…but she beautiful so I guess its okay he thought to himself as he slowly pushed her away from her. " Stay near the carriage. I'll be right back…I have some things to take care of" when she nodded he stood up and walked to where the others were fighting

A/N okay sorry…I know it's short. but they finally got to meet…of course it's not the ideal place..but oh well.. next chapter is going to be better…and soon I promise
