InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ naked and alone ❯ a heart divided ( Chapter 22 )

Well the story is getting to the end...about maybe 5 more chapters and an epiloge...must likely there will be more than 5 chapters but i always go with the least amount. And yes my names KAgome in Japan but I have an american name to it's really hard to explain just believe me and I speck Japanise as well

Chapter 22: A heart divided

Finally they had come to the town of Terugan it was nothing at all. Just a little bit of ruble.

"It's gone..." said Inu as he looked over the town.

"Yes...where do we start looking?" Asked Miroku...

"that's a good question..." Said Sango...but Kagome on the other hand just looked out at the world around her somehow she felt something there...it was like she knew that the Shikon no Tama was near and waiting...almost as if she could walk right up to it and pick it up from the ground...matter of fact it looked like it was right there...in front of her about 500 ft...something was glowing and drawling her to it...like a moth to the flame...

"Kagome are you ok?" Asked Inu while looking at her walk away towards something that he couldn't see but apparently she could.

"Kagome-chan what are you doing...?"

"Kagome?" They all asked as they looked at her she was moving like she couldn't control herself.

Kagome's thoughts: I can see it...a glowing ball of light...it's pulsing and calling to me...what is it...? i want it...I want to touch it...see it and hold it...but...something...something is wrong her...I can feel it...it's evil...and horrible feeling...what do I do...I need to get the ball thing but I don't want to get close to that thing...that evil.

She came about 4 feet away from the glowing object and stopped. The evil was generating from there. It felt like...but it couldn't be there was no way...or was there...it was an evil like nothing anyone could imagine...it felt like the man...the beast who had...had tried to...tried to take her...to rape her...and destroy her...

All the sudden the world around her was gone and the glowing ness had faded. She was there floating in a world she had never seen...and yet known for so long...there were cars and people dressed like her, buses, sky scrapers, but then on her left were opened fields full of flowers and beauty...birds were flying freely and a breeze was blowing gently.

She looked to her left at a place that she had known not to long ago but had forgotten. There in the middle of that place standing on a street corner stood a girl...she was small looking compared to everyone else. Her raven hair was blacker than the rest and a spot light was fading around her as the rest of the world grew brighter and bigger. Her friends that she hand known from her time were running past her not sparing her a glance...as she became smaller and smaller until she wasn't seen nor heard in the picture at all.

She turned to the right then and saw the painting like fields and in the middle of those fields surrounded by flowers stood a girl who was bright and smiling. Her eyes weren't cast down and she stood out proudly a smile on her face and a glint in her eye. The wind was running threw her hair as a kimono formed on her. It was gold...not yellow but brilliant gold like InuYasha's eyes...it shone like the sun...vibrant and radiant. People formed around her and were smiling and hanging on to her. One had demon ears of silver...one was dressed in purple robs...another held a boomerang that was abnormally large in size...another was old in red robes...and the smallest had orange hair and cute fox feet. They all looked happy as did the girl as the dog eared one kissed her and put a hand on her slightly bigger than normal stomach...

It was then that the voice came to her...dark and ugly...causing the picture in front of her to ripple and fade from it's deadliness. "what will you do...?"

"What can I do? What do you mean?"

"If you leave this place your dreams will shatter...if you stay your decision will kill them all.." A picture of Inu and Sango and Miroku, Keade and Shippo formed before her before it was ripped in half and fell on wither side on her only to turn into dust...

"I don't want to go...but..."

"Then will you let them and the rest of the world die because of you...?"

"no! I...want them to live but..." She felt a tear run done her cheek and land on the top of her now naked breast. "Where are my cloths...?" She asked as she looked into the darkness around her for the owner of the voice...

"this is who you are...if you stay here with them you will die...and so will they...but...if you choice to go back...all will go back to normal and the only one who will know it ever happened is you...the world will be saved..."

"That's cruel..."

"how is it cruel my child...?"

"Letting me remember...what it is like to have love! To be cared for...but taking that memory from the rest of the world so they alone will not now my pain?! You don't thinks that's cruel...then i hate to see what you think is...!!!!" The voice seemed to laugh at her statement as it grew father sounding away.

"this is the place where you will make your decision...what you choice will determine the fate of the world. Life or death...naked or alone...?" With that the voice was gone and all was blacken still...only she was seen in the never ending darkness...

"Naked or alone?" She looked up into the darkness wishing for a candle..."your wrong there can never be...one or the other...because when your alone your always naked...vulnerable to the world..." As she finished she looked in to the darkness around her..."this dark will never be broken around me...It's to dark...naked...and...alone" She began to fade away from the world of darkness of nothingness and if only she had been listening a little closer to the whispers of that world...she would have heard a for miler voice...the voice of one who had saved her once and told her of the future a little...

"Kagome...dear Kagome...they say...It's always darkest before dawn..."
