They had made camp when night came and lucky for Sango it was near a hot spring and she was never one to turn down a nice hot bath, she only wished that Kagome were there to join her. They were still following Kikyou and Sango had been keeping her eye on her like she'd promised, and she was starting to notice little things about the undead miko, like how she never really walked in front of the group just right next to Inuyasha and always just a little too close, or the way she was always trying to look deep into his eyes when she talked to him, she also noticed how he did squirm a little under her gaze. But the thing that really caught her attention is the way she would talk about Kagome, whenever they brought her up Kikyou seemed to talk about her with forced sweetness.

She had told Miroku about what she noticed and he just said that she was being paranoid and was just imagining things. She didn't care, she knew what she saw and the only reason why she hasn't flattened that woman yet is because she wanted to find Kagome.

She stepped out of the hot springs, dried off and dressed. When she arrived back at the campsite she found Inuyasha and Miroku listening intently on whatever Kikyou was saying. Shippou and Kirara on the other hand were on the other side of the fire trying to ignore them, she was glad to see that she was not the only one who didn't trust that woman. Listening a little closer she found that Kikyou was talking to them about her extensive knowledge of herbs, now she was disgusted, Miroku barely listened to Keade when she went on about herbs and Inuyasha never listened at all, but if Kikyou is talking about it they're hanging on to her every word!

"Sango did you know that Lady Kikyou knows how to cure every fever?"

"No, I was not aware of that."

"Yeah, Kikyou is really good at that kind of thing, maybe she should teach you and Kagome how to make medicines it would really come in handy for us." How Inuyasha could sit there and say something like that in front her was beyond Sango but he was losing respect points fast.

"I don't think that would be necessary Inuyasha, my specialty is poisons, and Kagome already cures whatever ails us with her own medicines and she is learning how to make them from herbs from Keade, I think we're covered in that department."

"Yeah Inuyasha she knows a lot already, and its not just medicine that helps us get better its Kagome's smile too, she always smiles." Shippou crossed his arms over his chest and stuck his nose in the air.

Sango was proud of the little fox for saying that, by the look on Kikyou's face he had struck a nerve.

"Shippou is very right, I always feel much better seeing Kagome's smile, injured or not, and she was already very intelligent before she came here, I've seen some of he math equations she can do and its really mind blowing."

To Sango it sounded like Miroku was finally coming back to his senses.

"I've noticed that you do not call her `Lady' Kagome, why is that?" In Kikyou's mind it was because they did not respect the girl as much as herself but the answer she got completely surprised her.

"When I first met Inuyasha and Kagome I did call her that but she told me that she would rather I just called her by her name."

"She would allow such informality?"

Sango just had to jump in and give this answer if only to see the look on her face.

"Kagome considers all of us to be apart of her family, she has a very big heart."

"Yeah that's one of the things I like about Kagome actually, all that formal crap gets on my nerves." Inuyasha said wrinkling his nose.

Sango gave Inuyasha some points back for that one.

"Well I think we should all get some rest now."

They learned to follow Miroku's advice when it came to rest, so they all settled in to sleep, but one of the group laid awake a little longer thinking about how they were going to love getting rid of a certain sweet, big hearted girl.

Kagome and Kagura had been getting along surprisingly well. She had someone to keep her company in the big dark castle. She was laying awake thinking about what Kagura had just told her before she left to sleep also.

Flashback

"So you helped Naraku trick Inuyasha!?" Kagome couldn't help but feel a little angry at this.

"I did not want to but I had no choice, but I can tell you that Inuyasha looked extremely hurt by Naraku's words. He was actually on the verge of tears."

"Oh no! He must really hate me now!" She could feel tears starting to prick at the coners of her eyes, this couldn't be happening.

"Do not worry, because the reason Naraku stopped before he violated you was because he could sense Inuyasha coming, I think he figured out Naraku's plot."

"So he's coming for me?"

"I believe he is."

"Thank you so much for telling me Kagura, I was going to worry myself sick over this."

Kagura was a little more than surprised when the girl wrapped her arms around her neck in a hug, she was thanking her again, she was very different from other humans.

End Flashback

Kagome smiled to herself, she felt a little more at ease now knowing that Inuyasha didn't hate her and was coming to save her. But she was pulled from her happy thoughts when Kagura came running into the room.

"Kagome I came to tell you that Naraku is coming for you now!"

"What! No!"

Kagura placed her hand over her mouth

"Shh… just remember what I told you, do not let him break your spirit you are the only one able to defeat him remember that."

She was gone just as quick as she came, leaving Kagome and terrified of the next person to open the door.
