A/N: Sorry this is a couple of days late. This one is a little longer than the first one....Oh yeah! Thank you for reviewing!! It means a lot to me ^^.

Disclaimer: Again I don't own anything so don't sue.

InuYasha's breathing labored. "No, no, no, no, no..." He repeated not accepting the fact her actually lost her. His claws tore at the ground as he tried to get to the other side.

"Dammit!" InuYasha leapt out of the Bone-Eaters well, its dirt now scattered across the clearing. After scanning the area for any demons, he dashed swiftly through the forest to the village where Miroku and Sango live. He knew Kaede would have an idea on how to help him, or at least Miroku would.

When InuYasha arrived, Miroku was standing outside of his hut, looking a little torn from life. Kagome was one of his best friends, and he had lost her; Sango, the love of his life, was fading but would live her life out, she just wouldn't be able to battle anymore. This didn't bother Miroku at all. Sango would still be able to receive the joy and pleasure of having children.

InuYasha hesitated when he approached Miroku.

"She left... and she gave me the jewel to make my wish." He held out his hand and showed Miroku the Shikon no Tama.

Miroku simply nodded in understanding.

Miroku knew InuYasha was not taking this well so he did not pressure the hanyou into speaking with him for the rest of the day.

After a silent and gloomy dinner, Miroku went to find InuYasha. He had not been there to eat for once, and Miroku couldn't stand being alone with a mourning woman.

"I only wanted a kiss... I thought it would comfort her." Miroku mumbled to himself, rubbing his abused head as he walked through the forest.

He suddenly whipped around. A demon was near and he could her rustling in the trees. The monk went for the prayer beads that held the Kaze Ana at bay. Just then Miroku remembered that is was finally gone... now he was stranded with a demon and nothing to battle with, not even his staff...

On the other side of the well...

Kagome dropped the shovel and stared at the rubble that was once the well. She was finally able to live out her normal life to the fullest. Though she already missed her friends, Kagome knew it was for the best.

"Maybe he will survive 500 years and we can meet again."

A small curve in her lips formed. She never thought of that before, but all hopes were lost when she remembered how InuYasha always got into a fight with another demon. But Shippou wouldn't fight unless necessary. She silently wished that she could see Shippou again. Him and InuYasha.

"Stop putting yourself into depressing thought." She quietly mentioned to herself.

As Kagome walked back to her house and give her mom and grandfather the 'good news,' she caught a glimpse of someone who seemed awfully familiar: dark hair, deep eyes, and such a cold face.

She shook it off hoping it was just her imagination; she had been thinking about the Feudal era so it was possible her mind was playing tricks on her.

She finally got to her house and stepped inside. Souta came running towards her wanting some kind of report on InuYasha. But when he saw how dirty she was and that her usual perkiness was gone, he walked around her and headed outside.

Kagome sluggishly walked into the kitchen to find her mother cooking dinner.

Just as Kagome was about to leave her mother said, "Kagome, dear, is everything alright? You just look so depressed. I will make us some tea and we can talk after you go upstairs and take a long, hot bath. I will save some dinner for you as well."

Kagome softly smiled, her mom was so sweet and considerate of her feelings.

"Thanks mom."

Kagome walked into the bathroom, a silk robe and towel in hand.

An hour later, she stepped into the living room, ready for a lecture. As was expected, Kagome's mother was sitting on the couch, waiting for her daughter to finish her bath.

Kagome sat next to her mom and stared at the floor. Knowing she would have to start things, Kagome faced her mom and smiled sadly.
