InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Riches to Rags ❯ Chapter Three ( Chapter 3 )
Kagome awoke in a room lit by a small fire. Kagome sat up slowly in the cot she laid in.
"Aye lass you are awake," said a voice coming from the other side of the fire.
"Where am I?" Kagome asked the voice.
An old woman came into view. She had light gray hair and powder blue eyes that held hidden wisdom.
"You are in Shikon Village, and I am the leader Kaede."
"How did I get here?" Kagome pressed on with the lingering questions that swarmed her mind.
"Ah Inuyasha found ye in the forest passed out by the Old God Tree and he brought you back to me for some care." Kaede paused for a moment, "And who are you lass?"
"Oh pardon my manners, I am Kagome." She took the bowl of stew that Kaede presented her, "Thank you so much, I'm starving."
"Ah so that is why ye passed out," Kaede assumed, "Where are ye from?"
Kagome didn't know how to respond. She couldn't tell her she was from Odyssey; she would put two and two together. Her mind raced for an answer.
"Smallville," spilling the first thing that popped into her head. Kaede frowned at the name, but Kagome went on, "You probably never heard of it, it is a small village." Kaede seemed to be satisfied with the answer and didn't press the matter. Kagome let out a small sigh, thanking the gods. Both Kaede and Kagome finished their meals in peace.
"Well Child I suppose we should sleep, in the morning we have to find ye a place to sleep from here on out."
Kagome must have looked confused, but Kaede went on, "My hut is very small and it serves as my home and as a small hospitable so I look over the ill. So tomorrow I will find ye a home."
Kagome agreed and feel asleep easily, thinking about where she would be relocated to.
The sun came up and Kaede left the sleeping women stay in her hut while she searched for a home. She only knew a few homes that had room for her. The first hut came into her view and she knocked on the wooden door. A young man came to the door looking sleepy.
"Ah Kaede, how can I be a service?" asked Miroku.
"Well, I wanted to ask ye of a favor," Miroku nodded, "I have a young lass that is in need of a home and I was wondering…."
Miroku smiled, "Hmm and how old is this women?" His asked while his hand was rubbing his strong chin.
"Kagome must be around your age, Miroku."
Miroku's smile lit up and he couldn't help but say no.
Kaede was relieved that it was so easy to find Kagome a home and the two of them went back to her hut to find Kagome awake and making the bed that she slept in last night.
Kagome turned towards the door to see Kaede and a handsome young man. He had his black hair down to his shoulders. He wasn't wearing his shirt, exposing his tan, muscular chest. His deep hazel eyes lit up when he saw the young girl in front of him. His eyes trailed down her lean body. His eyes lingered over her perky bosom and her round butt. Kagome blushed from the attention. With a blink of an eye Miroku was standing in front her with her left hand pressed into his palm.
"Kagome, would you bear my children?" Miroku asked before his hand trailed lower onto her butt and groped it. Kagome gasped and slapped him. Miroku backed off, laughing. Kaede shook her head.
Maybe Miroku isn't the best idea.
"Kagome, I apologize for his behavior. I have forgotten about his actions towards pretty girls."
"Aw Kaede, you make me sound like I was a lecher." Miroku whined, "Kagome, I am truly sorry, but your beauty was just so breath-taking." Kagome blushed at his statement and giggled. She giggles stopped short when Miroku fell over on the hard floor.
"Oh my gods, are you alright Miroku?" Kagome asked as she crouched down to look upon his face, but screamed when his hand lingered to her butt and rubbed it.
"So I see ye are alright, Miroku, maybe it would be best if Kagome was to live with someone else," Kaede said to Miroku who was sporting a new hand print on his face.
Kaede walked out of the hut pulling Miroku, leaving a fuming Kagome behind.
"Ah Miroku, when will you ever learn?" Kaede questioned him before they arrived at his hut.
"Sadly it is my curse, my lady," with that he was back inside his home.
Kaede was left with only few more choices. And she prayed that one would take the young girl so would be safe and not to worry about adventurous hands in the middle of the night.
