[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

I HAVE SPELL CHECK FINALLY!!!! Now I can go back through all my stuff and make it legible!!! YAYYY!!! This chapter is one of my faves so I hope you enjoy! ^-^ Another one will also be submitted as well. Sorry for the long wait! Hope it was worth it!

The warmth was a lake of sun all around her. She could feel herself sinking further and further into its depths, and a smile forming on her face as she felt the light caressing her skin from above, and the warmth from all directions. The waves cuddled into her body and curved around, encompassing her wholly. The faint noises of car horns and engines whiffed up from below through the air and she could take in the scents of laundry detergent and...and... Something far more wonderful. The smile on her face spread wider as her mind began to realize that this had been the first time she had ever woken up with a smile... No.

It was the second.

But the first time it had quickly faded.

It faded this time.

At the thought this time could be the same.

"He could really love me...what if he loves me?" she whispered to her self, shivering in the cold that was nipping at her flesh. Despite the cold there was an irrepressible grin stretching across her face. He loved her now, they had been together which meant they were official. She scrunched her body, huddling in an attempt to keep warm. A thought came to her, obviously she could hold onto him for warmth. It was a lovely idea, she would ALWAYS be able to hold onto him for love and warmth. Always. Maybe one day they would be married, she could visualize a long future with him. It was then she stretched her arms out and her eyes slowly opened and expression of confusion forming on her face.

He was gone.

After this heart breaking recollection she decided to become firm with herself. Pull yourself together Kagome, he did not leave you. He's not another Koga. This was different. Way different. You're going to roll over, open your eyes, and find Inuyasha lying right there, beside you. The smile slowly returned and she found her eyes opened already, she shook her head, as she closed them once more, she hadn’t done it correctly. Slowly, her arms unfolding before her, she rolled over and reached out for Inuyasha, opening her eyes, with much bursting joy and anticipation for the lovely sight of his gorgeous face before her...

Her arms fell onto cold sheets.

Bare.

Unfruitful.

Icy.

Nothing there.

Her eyes opened to find a sight, which was equally...

Bare.

Unfruitful.

Icy.

Nothi ng there.

Her hands stroked over the barren wasteland that was those empty outstretch of pure white, blank sheet, with absolutely no warm body to hold.

No lovely face to sight.

No cheerful good morning.

Bare.

Unfruitful.

Icy.

Nothing there.

She was frozen the moment she sat up, her hands placed where a loving soul should have been, but instead they were only met with a stabbing recognition of the harsh truth she now was repeating over and over to herself mentally in a feverish manner that she should have realized that she have expected.

Even that icy dagger had punctured her soul she could not feel it. So cold that it was numb to her now, her whole being was stopped. Why should she be surprised, hadn't at the back of her mind she had expected this all along? Hadn't she known since the moment she stupidly became so caught up in a mystery person whom she met online that she was only getting herself into a world of hurt which would only lead into a dead end?

She would not let the pain come. She was better than that. It wasn’t anything to be concerned over. She wasn't in love with him. They had only met a day before.

It would not hurt.

She would not let it....

There was something being painlessly removed from her. She was suddenly aware of it. What was it? She felt a slight panic arise in her at its leaving her and clutched her hand to her naked chest just praying the pain wouldn't come then only being alarmed that it wasn't there...

She felt a prick of it then withdrew and wanted to feel numb again, even if she lost a piece in return.

"Kagome?"

Her eyes stung deeply into her head as she turned to see what caused her entire body to freeze and her heart to feel as if it was jump started back into its beating once again.

There stood something that seemed to her not to be a person, but something far beyond that, a picture that she was sure would now be seared into her mind for eternities, for in all her icy frigid death she had suddenly found a hand of an angel above to pull her out of the frigid channels of a lifeless, freezing hell. Coursing through her was an almost unlabelable feeling as her shutter eyes snap shot the details of a moment forever preserved in her head. A shift in her universe that perhaps could never be reversed. His eyes were as intense and heated as ever, melting the ice walls around her to lukewarm pools of unfathomable soothing surrounding her, his hair was a tangled forest of captured light which had somehow been stung out and transformed into solid form, pooling over those fiercely burning eyes which framed a pointed face. In between those flat, hardened lips was a protruding red, which was all Kagome, knew of it as. But with an almost too realistic for and unearthly presence it was, a toothbrush, dangling freely and dripping off it was a mix of water and mint toothpaste. His body was reflected and shadowed by the son and lack of, causing him to seem as if he was illuminating, the towel around his seeming very liable to fall off...but these things somehow didn't distract her attention long, his entire being which was each of these things combined into one single thing was what hit her with the most on coming force.

The very fact he remained.

Some how it was too much. She felt her eyes becoming unbearably stinging and suddenly, she had thrown herself on what seemed to be an untouchable picture unworthy of her and she was wrapping her arms around her savior form her former ice home. A stunned and speechless manner about him, Inuyasha slowly reacted, bring his arms lightly to her back. "I thought you--I thought you were--" she choked through her wails, she sniveled badly, "I thought you were gone!" she sobbed loudly, burning her face in his chest feeling her face becoming red and puffy. "I--I thought you--you--" her words became lost in her hysteric crying.

"Shh..." he whispered soothingly, patting her back and hugging her closer. "I'm here...are you okay?"

"She suddenly felt so horribly stupid, how could she have compared him to Koga? "I--I'm so stupid!!" she sniveled, looking up from his chest and into his eyes which she almost felt unworthy of.

"What's wrong?"

She swallowed her lump down feeling more hot tears trickle down her face. "K-k-koga...after we...made love he...was gone the next morning...so when I turned over and you weren't there...I--I--I thought..." A really upset, guilty, face of sudden understanding flashed onto Inuyasha as he looked so deep with her Kagome almost gasped.

"Oh no, I'm sorry!" he murmured embracing her tightly. "You should have told me..." She sniffed audibly over and over and wiped her nose with the back of her arm, nuzzling into him.

"I...I...I..." she struggled through newly forming sobs which came from her.

"I am so sorry...I wanted to wake up next to you but my breath was so bad I--" A giggle that escaped Kagome interrupted him. He smirked down at her, "Oh so that's funny?" She nodded rubbing her cheek against his skin.

"Mmm hmm."

"...yeah well, I'm sorry I was such an idiot, I should have waited at least for you to wake up... I thought about waking you, but you looked so unbelievable just sleeping there I..." he stared at her dreamily forgetting entirely what he had been saying.

"Hmm, are you alright?"

"Yeah...I just..."

"I'm not angry with you...I am just... stupid..."

"No," he whispered consolingly, his arms tightening further around her causing Kagome to feel incredible and all her upset to vanish. A large gaping wound that had been inside her was somehow healing. "I was the stupid one...I should have known. You were hurt...of course you'd be scared it would happen again..."

"No you know my secrets I think...no one knows that Koga left me the next morning...no one...except you..." She gazed into his eyes with that searching and truly grateful manner that totally disarmed Inuyasha, he had never felt anything remotely anywhere else then he did around her. "I guess I should tell you my feet smell sometimes, and I stole a Yuka's wallet once, but don't tell her that, plus I actually like disco, and once I flipped someone off behind their back." His arms slithered around her even more.

"Yeah...big deal, I flip off people all the time, stole stuff a lot on the streets, and I actually like some country which is ALMOST as bad...plus my feet smell ALL the time."

"Ew!" Kagome laughed, taking in the smell of his skin which rung with the soaps from the night before and his own unlabelable scent. "Plus your first kiss was with a guy!" she added with a smile.

"Yep, I think you're the only one besides Jakken and a few demons who knows that one... You told me a lot of stuff about you but...there are two things you didn't tell me..."

"What?" Kagome returned at a loss, her tear-stained face looking up at him. Inuyasha rubbed his fingers against it affectionately.

"What happened the night you used your bra as a lasso, and what you were going to say about my balls.." Kagome whined and blushed at the term. Inuyasha grinned loving to tease her, "...what? You don't like me talking about my dick..." she blushed again, "...penis?"

"Shut up," she said, shoving him, then clinging to his shoulders, "for some reason my mom was always weird about that so it made me feel weird about people saying it..." She murmured, face flushing.

"Aw, come on, just tell me what you were going to say before, then I'll let you off the hook about the bra lasso thing..."

"I can't believe you men, why are you ALWAYS digging around for comments especially about your...your..."

"Sack?"

"Shut UP!"

"You're acting like a junior high student."

"Yeah, well--well so are you!"

"Alright, then just tell me what you think of my genitalia, all scientifical for you," Inuyasha joked, grinning.

"Scientifical isn't a word," she corrected smartly. He frowned at her slightly, "fine, you have...you have..."

"Conquer the fear Kagome, just say it."

"You have an...an..."

"Yeah?"

"An...an enormous..."

"Mmm hmm?"

"...PENIS!! YOU HAVE A BIG PENIS!!"

"Am I interrupting?" Kagome and Inuyasha turned to see the towel made at the now propped open hotel room door, clutching the cart of cleaning supplies with a look of disgust.

"Uh...um...yeah, could you come back later?" Inuyasha asked awkwardly, scratching the back of his head, his eyes traveled from Kagome's beat red face to the disturbed made who was soon out the door which closed behind her within moments. "Glad to get it off your chest?"

"No..." she murmured, looking horrified, "I can't believe she heard me say that...I never say things like that..."

"Oh well," Inuyasha shrugged, stroking her shoulder, "at least I know almost all your secrets now..."

"Yeah, well all of interest that happened that one night with the bra is that I did a dance on a table, lassoed with a bra, then passed out due to alcohol consumption, that's really all that happened, so there you are. You know all my secrets," Kagome proclaimed with finality.

"Really? That's all?"

"What? You have more?" Inuyasha fidgeted looking suddenly very uneasy as Kagome let go of his shoulders and he slumped down onto the bed. Kagome almost wished she didn't pry he looked very distressed about something that he had been keeping hidden... Could it be the "troublesome times" he said he'd been going through when he met his friend Miroku or whatever his name was? "Inuyasha?" she asked delicately, sitting next to him. "What's wrong?" There was a long silence as she started into those fiery eyes, which were now pained and focused on the floor. "You don't have to tell me...' she said quietly, now looking on the floor as well. He looked up at her slightly startled.

"It's not that--"

"Nom, I'm not offended, you don't have to explain yourself..." she looked up and smiled at him. It hurt. It was false, "we just met yesterday then--" She stopped short when he grasped her shoulders firmly.
"Don't ever smile like that again. I don't want to see you with a fake smile on your face. You don't have to smile to make other people happy, only smile when you truly feel joy, Kagome, that smile hurts more than any sorrowful expression could ever...though that tears me up inside too--that smile is a tragedy." Kagome stared at him in awe, unsure of what to say after that. She never realized anyone couple tell the difference, it took her long enough to figure it out. The varying between her false and true smiles. There was another period of soundlessness and Inuyasha finally sighed, it sounded somewhat of defeat, but Kagome could sense so much agony and hurt escaping from him that had been bottled up so long inside. He was going to tell her, she listened attentively sensing this was a fragile moment. "I...haven't told you something..." he began, "a deep dark secret only Miroku sort of knows...but...he doesn't know everything, no one does..."

Kagome waited patiently making no move or sign that could indicate she wanted him to hurry, "...I once had a girl friend who I was with for several months... I may have been in love with her...I don’t know, I thought I was then... We were so happy..." Kagome watched as she certain she saw his eyes glaze over with tears, "One day...she tried to kill me then she attempted suicide..." kagome gasped, "it...it's sort of...complicated...after she recovered did in the hospital she was sent to a mental institution... It's all my fault because...she thought I was having an affair and she was dealing with the depression already. She was a priestess and in these times they are never compensated for anything...it drove her over the edge and she thought I betrayed her, I had promised her I would always love her and I would never do anything to hurt her..." Inuyasha buried his face in his hands and Kagome gazed over him worriedly, feeling his pain seeping into her, but she felt better knowing he was helping the hurt by expressing the bottled up sorrow that had gone so long unattended to.

She lightly touched her hand to his back after a long period where neither spoke and gently stroked her fingers up and down his spine. "And...don't tell me it wasn’t my fault...because it was... I had been leaving more and more lately... And many times I was unkind to her, regardless if she seemed depressed or not, I began to thin she was using it as an excuse to get away with things and guilt me into staying more and more. I started to think she was betraying me by lying about her condition and using it to keep me away from my responsibilities and center my around her. I was so self-centered!" he breathed into his hand sounding on the verge of tears, "I didn't recognize that she was fading away, I didn't care enough for her, I neglected her...I was cruel and unforgiving--callused like I am to every other goddamn person..."

"No, don't blame yourself, please, you can't. She had a mental condition, you can’t take fault for that. No one can. Don't be so hard on yourself...you can't keep letting something like this way you down..." Kagome whispered, his eyes met hers and he somehow almost felt he could believe her.

But...how can I ever just not take any blame? If I have recognized that...

"You have to forgive yourself, or you'll never be able to move on..." Kagome murmured, pulling herself close to him, "..you understand that right?" he slowly nodded, feeling as if her scent was taking his thoughts away. She brought her arms around his neck. "It sound so unfortunate and I truly am sorry for you...but you can't let it run your life...I'm beginning to learn that about my past..."

"But Koga hurt you...you were innocent in it all--"

"Was I?" Kagome interrupted, "I never loved him...I was lying to myself, I ultimately hurt myself..."

"Never think that, he was a jerk, you deserve so much better than that creep..." Kagome looked deep within his eyes as his face was less than a half and inch away from hers.

"Yeah...but I don't deserve you..."

"Whatever...I don't believe that for a second,' Inuyasha retuned, pressing his nose against hers.

"I'm sorry I freaked out yesterday it's just..." Inuyasha pricked in confusion, "never mind..." The thought of how what Inuyasha and Koga said were identical now seemed perfectly non-applicable, it didn't matter, because Koga had said empty words and she was sure Inuyasha’s had been just the opposite. "Just to tell you I.,.." she said looking up at him again, "...feel really deeply about you too...though its hardly been any time at all..."

"Nah..." Inuyasha returned softly, pushing her down onto the bed and lying on top of her, "...it hardly takes anytime for skipper to warm up to someone like you..." Kagome raised an eyebrow.

"Someone like me?: she asked, feeling "skipper" harden against her leg as she stroked Inuyasha's left nipple, "what other girls does skipper like?"

"Only you...actually, you're one of a kind, sorry for my bad use of words...it's sort of early for me...need coffee, you know?" She laughed gently.

"Yeah, and I need some puppy dog lovin'!"

"Anyone else would die for saying that," he murmured din hear ear, afterward caressing it with his tongue.

"I know...doggie boowoo!" Inuyasha froze.

"That's pushing it." Kagome suddenly thrust her fingers into his erection massaging it forcefully.

"No...that is."

Her eyes were blood shot. The room dim. The phone clutched in her sweaty palm, which had been sweaty for so long that the perspiration had now gone ice cold. Her normally kempt short black hair was a mess onto of her head and the happy hair band which usually caused her hair to joyfully oblige to be pulled back into order was several inches away from the top of her head, sticking up in a manner which made her look as if she had pushed up against a wall hard. "Yes? This wouldn't happen to be Yuka Shimimoto would it?" came a female's voice from the phone. Suddenly, that dead, sullen figure with deep circles under those puffy, blood shot, dark eyes , with pale parchment skin and sunken salmon colored lips which's lip gloss seem to have considerably lost its sheen, jumped to life.

"Yes!" she croaked desperately, her voice hitting the speaker of the phone in a frustratingly lifeless manner. She felt her left eye twitch and just as it did the bag of different types of mascara nearby fell from the table and hit the floor with a thud. The tick-tock of the clock was the only sound and nothing stirred whatsoever, until a poster of Ashton Kutcher suddenly lost its grasp from the wall and swept through the air until it glided onto the floor with a plopping sound. The blue-gray shadows that streamed against what was called the make up counter, silhouetted against her face which was purple and yellow, and against the bright bubbling pink phone in her hand which now seemed as faded as a dead, wilting rose, all the colors of the scene washed out.

"Please, we are doing all we can ma'am, stop calling the police office we have other matters to attend to."

"But you don’t understand!" she cried, only her voice hardly came, it sounded more like a wheezing sound. "She's in trouble!! Bitch, do something about it!" she screamed, feeling her voice crack and the wheeze over taking her voice hardly subside. There was another silence, the lipstick rolled off the table. Quiet. It was maddening. She'd explode if she had enough energy but she only sunk onto the table, as her arms slid before her more and more, feeling as heavy and sticky and sluggish as molasses, all hope and happiness draining from her now frail persona quickly. The horrid noise, which all girls dread perhaps most of all filled her ears.

Click.

Beeeeeeeep.....

The line was dead.

She had been hung up on.

As if trying to stop herself from falling into the ceiling, Yuka clutched onto the counter the sound of her fake nails screeching against the laminated plastic filling her ears, she didn't feel it. She didn't feel anything. How could she have been so dense? To let her best friend go out with some stranger who most likely was a crazed murderer? Her brown eyes lay themselves on the pink clock behind her sunken shoulders. It was 1:00. In the afternoon. Kagome Higorashi had left approximately 24 hours ago. 24 hours ago. Since the moment Kagome had left Yuka had been battling herself against the portion of her that kept screaming to follow Kagome to make sure everything went alright. WHY HAD SHE NOT LISTENED TO THAT PORTION? Now her friend's body would be recovered in some dumpster. She was probably raped, gagged, tortured, and then killed. And it was ALL her fault. ALL HER FAULT.

But then in her head she was filled with such blissful denial, that kept telling her that she was over-reacting, nothing had happened to Kagome, she had just...just...BUT WHAT COULD SHE HAVE BEEN DOING? "Well...maybe she's being held up somewhere...and she'll be saved...held for ransom...that's all...or maybe he's already been captured and Kagome made a break for it and she's on her way!" But why was there that horrible feeling at the pit of her stomach? Her hand flew back to the phone and she quickly dialed "911". All the past night she had been praying, worrying, watching, just hoping that Kagome would return in one piece every hour seemed and eternity as her eyes were glued to the clock. Just waiting. During the day she had managed to forget Kagome for quite some time by doing some shopping than watching taped Soap Opera after taped Soap Opera, but when she was flipping on the channels and started what she thought was a strange episode of Living Our Lives but was really a murder mystery, it simply got her frantic. By the time it was eleven she was starting to panic and as the hours passed she began to lose it entirely. At one in the morning she called the police office sobbing. Every since she'd been calling almost every ten minutes. (In between calls she was calling Kagome's cell phone over and over)

She even finally went out looking for her beloved friend at one point, bringing along her cell in order to call the police and Kagome in their allotted times. The police advised her to stay home (they were afraid she'd hurt herself or someone else in her condition, besides, her caller ID was blocked on her cell so they didn't know when to have the most patient of them answer the phone) and she finally humored them and sat in her helpless misery. Calling. Constantly.

"Hello."

"Yeah I--"

"You have reached the office of police, please, if you are Yuka hang up now, we will notify you if there is any sign of Kagome, if you are someone else, please press the number 1 on your phone and you will be connected to one of our employees. By the way, if you are Yuka you will be fined if you call us again."

She wailed in her frustration as she slammed the phone onto the receiver.

The door was closed, that was a first, but strangest of all she wasn't anywhere in sight to greet Kagome and knock her off her off her feat with a bombardment of questions. She laughed to herself, And I have to answer! She skipped along wondering briefly why she had never done so before, it got her moving far faster. Performing a spin as she hummed along the hall, she ran to the door thrust the key into the lock and turned it with a giggle of excitement. At the moment she couldn't care less about being embarrassed she was so excited she simply wanted to spill everything to her roommate. Well, maybe I shouldn't but-- Her thoughts stopped once again and she only thought of Inuyasha sigh escaping her as she stood still at the door holding the key inside the door. She shook herself out other daze finding a big smile to meet her at the end, and he's already going to see me soon, imagine that! More cheerful laughter escaped her as she withdrew the key from the door knob and turned it, pushing the door open and expecting to be greeted by a somewhat nervous, but very curious Yuka.

Yet she was greeted by silence.

Where is she? she thought and suddenly she felt a slight panic come of her as she turned to the clock and saw what time it bore. 1:15. Maybe I should have called...nah, she wouldn't worry about me...would she? She shrugged it off feeling the exploding joy filling her entire being entirely once again as she skipped over to the kitchen and set the purse down scanning around. Yuka's car had been there, so where was Yuka?

"KAGOME!!!!!!!!" screamed a voice. Kagome jumped in surprise, but her bright smile returned when she saw her roommate, failing to see her washed out, exhausted, sickly appearance and she twirled her way to her.

"Oh Yuka! You won't believe--"

"KAGOME!"

"Huh? Did you just wake up? You don't look so good," she beamed, staring out into space as she leaned on the counter when she floated back over. Yuka stared feeling as if someone had just hit over the head with a piano. "Hmm, how bout some coffee?" she asked pouring the brownie mix into the coffee grinder as she stared into space with a silly smile on her face. "Oh my god...it was so...oh Yuka you won't believe--" her words were drowned out by a persistent giggle fit that Kagome was overcome by.

"Kagome?" Yuka asked in pure confusion looking as if she was sure she had gone insane. She pushed on the grinder and emptied the contents into the coffee maker, dancing away from it soon afterward and pouring some orange juice inside which she grabbed instead of a water pitcher. She didn't look once at what she was doing, pouring half the contents onto the counter.

"And then he...he--oh Yuka you should have been there--well actually..." she chuckled bashfully a very long time, "you shouldn't have!" she scolded Yuka, "perish the thought, why that would have been strange!" she cried in a sing song voice, falling against the wall nearest to her then sliding to the floor with a spreading, dreamy grin on her face. "Oh isn't it SUCH a gorgeous day? And isn't this SUCH a wonderful apartment?" she stroked the floor, "I never noticed how pretty the floor was!" Another giggle fit over took her.

"I must be...hallucinating...what is...going on...am I dreaming>: Yuka asked insanely, her eyes bulging out. Yuka paused gazing fixedly at Kagome for a very long time as the girl finally stopped laughing and had commenced to staring into space, her fingers curved against he mouth muffling her giggles. Her eyes widened further if it was possible, "are you...HIGH?" Kagome stopped laughing abruptly and glared at Yuka for a moment, but the same dopey smile returned to her face after a matter of seconds.

"No, but I feel like it...high up on a cloud..." she sighed dreamily. "Oh it was so WONDERFUL Yuka, I'm NOT lying! You can’t even...imagine! Everything was SOOOO perfect..." Yuka glared at her in true bewilderment.

"WHAT are you talking about? What did he do to you?! Did he INJECT something into you our something?! Did he drive you insane with everything he DID to you?" Kagome's face went bright red.

"Stop it! You’re making my blush!!" she began giggling in a highly irritating way which hurt Yuka's ears despite the screeching of her nails taking no affect ton her earlier, "yes he...he...DID inject something you could say, but what a weird way of putting it! And he did oh so much...how did you know anyway?" Yuka felt her annoyance and bitterness leaving quickly as a guilt and horror took their place. Her poor friend! She had denounced such things as drugs and here she was! High as anything! And had been tortured--she must be insane! It was ALL her fault.

"Oh, Yuka! It was--"

"Kagome," Yuka cut in with a desperate quite voice, "...are you..." she grabbed her arm suddenly, "I'm going to have to take you to a place...called the psychord to--"

What are you doing?" Kagome breathed, her laughter finally subsiding as she pulled her arm away.

"Well, first I have to put you in bed until the drugs wear off--"'

"What are you--I'm, NOT high, jeez!"

"Yes, you ARE, you said he injected you, it's not your fault--"

"No!" Kagome laughed loudly, causing Yuka to take a step back. "You SILLY!" she squealed, her face turning pink, "he inject me with his...his..." her face was no beat red, "...his...PENIS!!! HA I SAID IT!!!" Yuka stared, far beyond words.

"He RAPED you too?!" Yuka exclaimed.

"No! What's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me? I'll tell your what's wrong!! I wait and wait and wait and then it's ten and then it's two in the morning--and then 24 fucking hours later YOU FINALLY CAOME THAT'S WHATS FUCKING WRONG WITH ME!!!!"

"I'm...I'm so sorry, Yuka..." Kagome said softly. "..I really am fine...and..I really am sorry...I..." a slight smile came onto Yuka's face, Kagome felt guilty for what she had done just as it should be, now perhaps she'd do something nice and stop giggling for god's sake... "...HAD THE BEST TIME EVER!! Oh my god you don’t even KNOW! I'm serious it was so..." She stopped talking and sighed deeply, Yuka fuming. Kagome skipped passed her and jumped onto the counter, and seemed to be performing some sort of dance, "...I'm sorry for...making you worry and all...' she said at the expression Yuka was making, the smile returned to Kagome's face, "but how could I leave--I was going to be but--I just couldn't!" Again her speech stopped abruptly, Yuka seemed so out of it, and didn't seem quite keen on hearing what had happened, a slightly saddened sigh escaped Kagome, but she couldn’t keep her grin down for long, "Oh., I don't have to tell you..." Kagome stepped off the counter and sang as she walked toward the refrigerator, though she seemed happy, Yuka could tell she appeared as if she was keeping something bottled up and was ready to explode with what she was obviously begging to spill. A very loud sigh streamed from Yuka as she scratched the back of her short messy mane.

"Spill," she grumbled, wishing she hadn't. Kagome took in a deep breath and Yuka new she was ready to talk a million words per second.

"Oh Yuka, you were so WRONG!! WRONGER THAT WRONG!! You couldn’t be more incorrect! Everything didn't go wrong, in fact, NOTHING went wrong! You were so...WRONG!" Yuka, just like any other human being, wasn't quite keen on being told she was wrong over and over and huffed crossing her arms with a rather tired, deadpan expression, but said nothing, though Kagome's happiness was very irritating when she had been suffering all the night before, "He wasn't an old man, and he wasn't some gross computer nerd either or a kid, or a psycho--I mean, he was a hanyou but who cares has the mot adorable dog ears ever, plus his name's Inuyasha. plus his birthday’s April 14th--which means he's an Aries--oh and he likes red--plus he--"

"Alright, can you slow down, tell me about what happened," Yuka said with a wink, suddenly looking far less tired as she straightened her hair and placed her head band on all the way. Kagome's face flushed slightly but her smile remained wide and true.

"Well..." she said slowly, looking as if she was about to burst, "I was waiting for him and I saw this other guy--"

"Another guy?"

"That's what I thought, because I had no idea what ramenlover--or the guy on the internet looked like. So when I saw him after trying to talk to this guy that I THOUGHT was him, I just assumed it was somebody else but..."

"Yeah?"

"..he was SO hot I couldn't help but stare at him I mean, I don't know what you'd think of him but I thought he was, and I couldn't stop looking at his..." she paused.

"Yeah?"

"you know, I mean..."

"Well you just said it a minute ago, which is weird because I don't recall you ever saying that," Yuka said, now grinning. Kagome looked very sheepish.

"Yeah well, he sort of made me say it before..."

"Okay...I guy you just meet making you say the word penis, that's sort of odd...I guess I admire his bravery..." Yuka said, nodding, with a smile. Kagome laughed awkwardly.

"Yeah well, he finally started talking to me, see when first met him I accidentally ran into him and knocked him over and stuff...he's was really rude too--just like he was online-- I guess that should have given him a way... He was waiting for someone too...and that made me feel a little down because I thought he was intent on meeting someone else, but then I came to the crazy conclusion that he could be the guy on the internet so when he asked for my name, I just said 'bored987' my internet name, and you should have seen the look on his face!"

"...why I mean I guess it's a little surprising but..."

"Yeah well you don't KNOW what we did online." A very wide grin came to Yuka's face.

"Oh I see...naughty Kagome..."

"Shut up!" Kagome squeaked looking very embarrassed now, "well he told me he was only visiting Japan for quite a while and hadn't been since he grew up here as a kid so things had changed a lot...so I showed him around... Then the sun was setting and I suggested we go eat--we did at that famous place--you know--Yurshamari inn--"

"Oh my god! Is it really as great as they say?"

"Yep--their rooms are so gorgeous too they have gold and embroidered lamps and beds..."

"Wait," Yuka cut in her smirk getting wider, "how do you know what the room looks like unless..." Kagome's face turned very red.

"Hey, I never said that we--"

"Oh SURE you didn't, come on I wasn't born yesterday... You obviously had sex I mean ,come ON!!"

"I said I wanted to see his hotel room after...I just couldn't take any more Yuka--you don't get it alright, I’ve never really been hot for a guy before except...Inuyasha and..."

"So you DID have sex then?" Yuka said, looking now almost as prone to exploding with excitement as Kagome was.

"well--I wanted to--" Yuka squeaked, "but..."

"But what?" Yuka inquired, no longer looking gleeful.

"He didn't seem like he...I mean...he was too nervous too--so I Ieft the room--at around ten or so..."

"Ten?!" she repeated in disbelief, "then what have you been doing sine THEN?" Kagome swallowed hard, her smile returning quickly, causing Yuka to place her hands on her hips and get suspicious.

"...I...came back to his room--after I stole the key from him when we kissed..."

"You STOLE his key? Geez, you're a wild woman now Kagome, no turning back ,never known you to act this way before!" Yuka chimed looking pleased yet surprised. Kagome laughed looking bashful again. "Guess you REALLY wanted to screw with him didn't you?"

"Oh be quiet!"

"Why was he so nervous though, sounds like you had to take charge...with boobs like yours and that dress he should have been slobbering over you the entire time!" Yuka exclaimed.

"Well...he was really attracted to me...I mean--he had this really bad election when I sat in his lap on the trolley...the only reason he didn't want to be with me was because he didn't think he could handle it I bet..." Yuka looked at her with a perplexed expression.

"Huh? What? Wa she like a virgin or something?" Yuka joked, laughing. Kagome nodded and she stopped abruptly.

"Actually yeah, which really surprised me..." she became all dreamy again, "you'd never be able t tell...by the way he--"

"Okay, okay I can imagine!" Yuka cried loudly, cutting Kagome off. There was a short silence and thought Kagome wanted to spill more about what had happened, Yuka's stopping her did not rid of her happiness whatsoever. Finally after Kagome shifted from left to right foot anxiously over and over, she couldn't help but begin talking more about the previous night.

"Oh, you wouldn't believe how wonderful it was though, Yuka!" Kagome exclaimed, "by the fourth time we did it--"

"Fourth time?" Yuka squeaked in awe, "so unlike you...it's as if your mind has been taken over by aliens. This guy's good if he can turn goody-two-shoes girls like you into hussies like me..." Kagome laughed.

"He is SOOOO unbelievably delicious...I'm serious, no one's ever made me horny like that before... And his eyes just drag you in...and his butt oh GOD..." Yuka shook her head laughing, she'd never in her life seen her friend act in such a manner.

"Sounds like everything went along without hitch. I'm happy for you Kagome...except I wish I had a hottie like YOU do...well at least a hottie in YOUR opinion!"

"Hey what's THAT supposed to mean?!" And...well, it sort of went without a hitch only...he said the same thing Koga did when we were together..."

"Oh my god, what?" Yuka gasped, looking horrified.

"...yeah, the "I think I'm falling for you' line...that really...scared me..."

"So, what did you do?" Yuka asked now looking very concerned. Kagome took in a deep breath also looking extremely solemn all of a sudden.,

"I made him promise that he'd never hurt me...and he did, he came back with a really sincere reply, I really don't think he'd hurt me Yuka, he was nervous I mean it was his first time, maybe it was just a bad choice of words..." Yuka looked very concerned and somewhat doubtful.

"I don't know...I've never heard of a guy saying something like that before to a woman they have sex with so soon...unless they're planning to walk out on you...but you woke up and he was there, right?" There was a very discouraging silence and Yuka began to wonder about her friend’s sanity. How could she seem so happy if she had been a victim to a one-night stand?

"...that was the worst part when I turned around and...just like Koga...he wasn't there..." Yuka shook her head, her eyes becoming very watery,

"Oh Kagome..." She suddenly beamed at Yuka.

"But then everything was better when he came out he was just brushing his teeth...but I over-reacted--I couldn't help it...I cried all over him, like a big over-grown baby, aren't I pathetic?" Kagome murmured, looking worried.

"No...no way...you never told me that...Koga...he really...was just...gone? I thought that he--"

"I'm sorry," Kagome cut in, a slight smile on her face, but her eyes somewhat saddened, "I never told anyone...not until I told...Inuyasha...and he totally understood, I hope I didn't ruin him and scare him, I probably did though..."

"No way!" Yuka exclaimed firmly, making a determined fist, "he's a virgin for all the fuck he knows woman do that all the time. He probably felt more like an idiot than you did knowing he should have stayed in bed until you woke up!" Laughter escaped Kagome at all this.

"Yeah, he did say he felt pretty stupid, and then he told me his deepest secret..." Kagome trailed off, looking thoughtful.

"Yes, and what is it?" Yuka inquired looking so curious she was on her tiptoes trying to get a better look at Kagome as she leaned din. Kagome smiled up at her.

"Can't tell, he hasn't told anyone but me, and I respect his trust," Kagome returned solemnly, "Why would I risk it with a hottie like him just for you!" she joked cheerfully, causing Yuka to groan.

"But seriously, he probably isn't that sexy, I mean come on, I guess he could be but--"

BRRRRRNT!!! The extremely annoying, buzzer-like doorbell's sound filled the air causing both Kagome and Yuka to freeze. "oh my god! He's here!" Kagome shrieked, dashing up the stairs at the speed of light. "I have to change!"

"What do I do?" Yuka asked, glancing at her reflection in a nearby window in disgust.

"Answer it!"
