Chapter 18

Compromising Positions

Once again like earlier Inuyasha had jumped off Kagome so fast he tripped over his feet. Kagome sat up so fast she got lightheaded and flopped back down on the bed.

"I'm glad I didn't send Souta in to come get you." Ms. Higurashi said.

"Umm, we weren't doing anything." Kagome said. Her face was bright red.

"Sure you weren't. I told you earlier you should wait until you guys are alone. You wouldn't have to embarrass yourselves so much."

"Okaa-san."

"Kagome why don't you come downstairs with me. We should talk."

Kagome got up to follow her downstairs. She was not going to like how this turning out. She had never blushed so much before.

Ms. Higurashi noticed that Inuyasha was following them downstairs. "Where are you going Inuyasha?"

"With you downstairs."

"No, not this time. This is a talk amongst us women. You can wait up here in Kagome's room. She'll come up when I'm done with her."

Inuyasha laid down on Kagome's bed. He was hoping the conversation wouldn't last too long. How is it that they were always getting caught in such compromising positions?

He used to be able to sense everything around him. When Kagome was there it's like they shut down. His senses always focused on Kagome when they were like that.

Kagome went downstairs into the kitchen and took a seat at the table.

"I know you're very shy about this subject so I'll make it quick. Maybe you can calm him down. He seemed a little mad about my interruption."

Kagome blushed and nodded. "What is it that you wanted to talk about?"

"Well, it's about you and Inuyasha. If you want to have sex then you can do it. You don't need my permission."

"You won't be mad that I did it?"

"No why would I be?"

"Well, most people think girls my age should wait."

"I'm not most people Kagome. I don't mind. I know that he won't hurt you. I can see it in his eyes. I know that this is what you both want. I think your old and mature enough to make your own decisions."

"How is it that you know all this stuff? I don't tell you about it."

"I'm very observant."

"I want you to have a wedding after you do it."

"I don't think he knows what that is Okaa-san."

"How will people know you're together?"

"I don't know. I'm not sure how things work with him on this subject. He's a hanyou, he might take the youkai instincts."

"Why don't you go get him. I'm kind of curious on the way he does this kind of thing."

"Hai" Kagome left to go upstairs. She found Inuyasha lying on her bed. He was sleeping. She rubbed his ears and heard the low growling.

He snatched her hand and opened his eyes. He saw the guilty look on her face. "Done with your women's talk?"

"No, Okaa-san wants to talk to you." They both walked downstairs and into the kitchen and sat at the table.

"So, Inuyasha I'm curious as to how you take a wife or whatever you call it." Ms. Higurashi asked.

"Youkai have mates. I think its similar to what you call husband and wife but the bond is much stronger. Even though I'm a hanyou I inherited the inu youkai instincts."

"What do you have to do to become mates?"

"There are different ways. If it's a force mating then you are marked while mating. You can either ask your intended and mate while marking her during it or you can mark them before you mate so other youkai knows the female is claimed."

"What do you mean by `mark'"

"It's a bite where the neck and collarbone meet."

"Oh, so like the one you left on Kagome?"

"Hai, like the one I …" He looked at her in surprise.

"I love embarrassing you two. It's funny to see how red you can get."

"Okaa-san."

"I was just wondering how the whole `mating' thing works. I know now. You can go now. I'll start making dinner. I'll send Souta in when it's done so no funny business up there."

They blushed and ran upstairs to Kagome's room. They were finally free from the embarrassment. Kagome laid on her bed.

Inuyasha crawled on top of her. He started kissing her neck.

"Inuyasha, remember what Okaa-san said about Souta coming in?"

"So, he'll see it sooner or later."

Kagome pushed him off of her and made him stand beside her bed.

"What are you doing?" Inuyasha questioned.

"Sit."

"What the fuck was that for?"

"You need to behave." She rolled on her side so that her back was facing him.

He got up and laid down on her bed with her after the spell wore off. He wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled her neck. They both fell asleep.

They were sleeping peacefully. They felt safe in each other's arms that is until Souta busted through the door and jumped on the bed.

"It's time for dinner. Okaa-san says to go eat. Wake up sleepy heads."

Kagome rudely pushed Souta off the bed. "Souta, what did I tell you about waking me like that?"

"You said not to do it again."

"Why didn't you listen?"

"Nee-chan I'm a kid I do what I want."

"Your going to get it you little brat." Kagome sat up and was about to chase him when Inuyasha stopped her.

"Let him live a while longer."

She just got up and went downstairs to go eat. Inuyasha just followed her.

Kagome sat at the table thinking of how to get revenge on Inuyasha and Souta. She had an idea. She would do it after dinner.

Kagome walked out on the shrine grounds to water the flowers. The flowers looked beautiful this time of year. The only thing that ruined it were Souta's mud puddles.

"Inuyasha, Souta can you come help me for a minute." Kagome said with the hose still in her hands. She had gotten the mud puddles wet and she soaked the ground so that it was slippery.

They came out of the house and she sprayed them with the hose. The positions they were in were if Inuyasha and Souta were to attack Kagome they would have to run on the ground, which was slippery.

They would then fall into the mud puddles because Kagome was on the other side. Inuyasha and Souta looked at each other and nodded. They ran towards her and as expected they fell into the mud.

What Kagome didn't expect was that they would grab her and drag her in. Inuyasha and Souta tickled her while she was in the mud. All three of them were covered in mud.

"Ok, ok I give." Kagome said still laughing.

"Ha that's what you get for trying to get revenge on the men. Right Inuyasha?"

"Right."

"I'm going to take a bath. You'll have to wait." Souta said.

"What happened to ladies first?" Kagome yelled. It was no use he was already in the house.

Kagome then realized she still had the hose in her hand and sprayed Inuyasha.

"Oi, we already won."

"I know I just thought I should rinse some of the mud off of you before we go in the house." Kagome just kept spraying him until there wasn't any more mud.

She then started spraying herself with the hose. She failed to realize that she was wearing a white shirt.

Inuyasha just watched her with his mouth open wide. It was the most erotic thing he'd ever seen. He couldn't help but grab Kagome.

She squealed when he grabbed her arm and turned her around. Once she was facing him his lips were clamping down on hers in a hard bruising kiss.

It sent a jolt of pleasure down her spine. He had never been so forceful with his kisses. Not that she was complaining. She enjoyed it.

Inuyasha couldn't stop kissing her. He lowered her to the ground and back into the mud. Of course he didn't realize it his senses were focused on the girl beneath him.

He broke the kiss in favor of her neck. He made a trail of kisses and nips down her neck to his mark. He smirked and kissed her hard on the lips again.

Kagome started rubbing his ears. She heard the low growl she loved. He started on her neck again. She blew into his ears. He must have really liked that because he had growled louder and bit down on her neck.

Kagome was enjoying herself. She kept blowing in his ears. It was such torture for Inuyasha. She had already set him off. It was unintentionally but she did. Now she was making it worse for him to control himself.

He looked at her. She was covered in mud, with a white WET t-shirt. Her lips were puffy from the kisses and her face was flushed. She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

"Your beautiful koibito." Inuyasha said. Once again he kissed her neck.

Kagome's breath hitched. He's never said anything that nice before. He called her koibito. Kagome grabbed his chin and kissed him hard on the lips.

Inuyasha was surprised. She'd only acted like this one other time. She wasn't as forceful as last time. He liked it he liked it a lot.

He broke the kiss and said, "Maybe I should compliment you more often." He kissed her again.

Their moment of heaven was interrupted when they were hosed down.

"That's three times. And out in public too."
