Chapter Fourteen: Morning Love

"Kagome, you and Inuyasha should wake up now-OH MY GOD!!" She blushed as she quickly closed the door to Kagome's room, she smiled as she went back down stairs and giggled the whole way.

"Puppy-eared grandchildren, here I come!" She giggled.

Inuyasha was the first to rise, he yawned loudly as he rolled over and touched warm flesh. He grinned as the memories of last night returned to him. Kagome was his mate, and they had conceived a pup......

Inuyasha pushed the covers off her stomach slightly, he bent down and smelled it, it was faint, but it was there.

New life, a pup, he grinned boldly as he leaned up and was about to kiss her, he froze when he saw her. She was taking in the changes to being a hanyou very fast, she already had his ears, her hair was the same, except longer, more silky that those chemicals and shampoo's she used could ever hope to get. Her skin was paler, creamy, as though it was silk. Her new fangs were poking out of her mouth slightly as she yawned. He quickly held his hands over her ears to block out the immense amount of hearing she would have.

He remembered every time he woke up after the new moon. The dull human senses were annoying as hell, and after he got used to them, when the sun came up it was utter hell when his hearing ESPETIALY came back. It was as if a whisper was a horn in his ear. He saw her begin to rise and gave her a kiss as he rolled on top of her, he was in-between her legs as he used his elbows to support his weight. She smiled under his lips, eyes still closed.

"There a reason why your covering my ears?" She asked coyly. Inuyasha got hard as she ran her claws against his back. He growled as she began to open her eyes.

"No! Don't open your eyes yet!" He whispered harshly. Kagome nodded as she did so.

"You don't have to yell...."

"I wasn't. Your a hanyou remember? Your hearing is hundreds of times better. I'm whispering under my breath. now I'm gonna slowly release them, but try hard to ignore the sounds. Focus on me, block them out." He said as he slowly let her ears go, Kagome hissed a bit, she could hear so many thing......cars honking, running, birds, dogs barking. It was immense, but she could also hear breathing, heartbeats.

She slowly opened her eyes to be greeted with a flash of intense blinding white, she looked past it and saw Inuyasha's golden eyes looking down at her. She focused on his heartbeat and breathing as she looked at his eyes until she adjusted.

He smiled as she opened her eyes to reveal the same eyes he fell in love with, but a slight gold tint at the edges.

"Morning love." She said as she yawned again. Inuyasha smirked as he tweaked one of her ears.

"You look absolutely beautiful." He said. Kagome blushed as she kissed him.

"I smell really bad, we smell like sweat and I need a shower, care to join me?" She asked as she got up, she was a little wobbly on her feet, and the dried blood in between her legs was proof of her gift to him.

He saw her wiggle her but a little for him and grinned as he hopped out after her.

"What am I gonna tell my family when they see me....?" Kagome asked as she looked at herself in the mirror, she had dressed into a pair of jeans, she had a few bruises in-between her legs that would have been clear to anyone. Inuyasha snorted as he pulled the black shirt over his head. He put on a red cap to hide his ears as he reached for the shorts on the bed.

"Just suppress you demon blood. Visualize what you want to look like and concentrate on it. Feel the blood running through your veins and try not to think." He said as he pulled up the red knee length shorts. He watched her as he sat down and pulled on the black skater shoes, he saw her ears slide down, her hair get shorter, back to normal, and her skin, he noticed, stayed the same.

"Inuyasha....it's cold...." Inuyasha nodded as he stood and walked over to her.

"The demon blood is warmer than the human blood, you'll get used to it." He shrugged off. Kagome glared at him as she stole his hat and put it on her own head.

"If hanyou's could do that then why don't you?" Inuyasha looked down a bit as he stole his hat back.

"Males can't it's a female trait. I was in the room when my father taught Inya....." He said lowly. Kagome smiled as she put a hand over his in a sense of comport.

"It's okay Inuyasha......" She whispered, Inuyasha nodded as he bent down and kissed her. She 'eep'ed as he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder like a rag doll.

"Inuyasha! Put me DOWN!" She growled, Inuyasha smirked as he walked down the stairs.

"Please, you wouldn't have made it down the stairs. Your to wobbly." He said as he let her stand at the base of the steps. Kagome glared at him as she humped as walked hit him in the arm, he flinched as he rubbed the spot, he'd defiantly have bruises.

"You did it." She growled out. Inuyasha smirked as he put a hand over her tummy.

"No, *WE* did it." he said as he kissed her. Kagome blushed as she wrapped her arms around his sneak.

*Cough*

The new mates tuned they're heads to see a grinning Souta.

"What?" Inuyasha growled down at him. Souta smirked as he lazily put his hands behind his head.

"My, my, my.....The walls in this house are so thin.....how'd you sleep sis?" Kagome's face went beet red as she made a swipe at him.

"Why you little shit-COME HERE!!" Souta laughed as he ran into the living room. She stopped dead in her tracks at what she saw.

"Eri, Yuka, Arumi.......h-hey?" All three girls goggled as they waved off Jiichan and Souta as well as Keniichi. Ayumi grabbed her purse as she walked over and gave Kagome a kiss on her forehead.

"Don't leave the house, talk to your friends while you have the chance. I'm going to work, Jiichan is taking Keniichi home and dropping Souta off at Ken's house. Then he's going to go to a Shrine meeting or something. I'll be the first back at around five o'clock. Love you!" She said as she left the house, leaving the three girls alone with the two hanyou's.

"So.....where's this 'Inuyasha' guy?" Kagome's mouth flapped but no words came out as Inuyasha walked into the room, he gave all of them a growl as he picked her up bridal style and walked into the kitchen.

"Inuyasha! What am I gonna do?!" Kagome hissed. Inuyasha shrugged as he set her down on her feet. Kagome looked nervously into the living room.

"Kagome! Calm down! Think of the pup...." He said soothingly as he held her. he growled lowly in a comforting way as she hugged him back.

"I know.....but it's still early, I woke up today and all my clothes are tight, that wasn't supposed to happen 'till at least a month after I got pregnant......" She said a little worried. Inuyasha grinned as he kissed her.

"Demon breedings are accelerated. How long is a human pregnancy?" Kagome glared at him as she pulled away from him.

"How much accelerated?" Inuyasha laughed nervously as he took a step back.

"Um......Two weeks?" Kagome blinked up at him.

"Well, that doesn't sound to bad...." Inuyasha gulped as he eased away from her a bit, she wasn't going to like this.

"No....um......that's how long you ARE gonna be pregnant. Two weeks. Well, it really depends on what kind of demon. But normal dog demon pregnancy's are averaged at about two weeks...." Kagome snarled as she grabbed his forelocks and pulled him down eye level.

"WHAT?! How do you know all this?!"

"Because I told him my lady." Kagome blinked as she looked at Inuyasha's prayer beads. She saw Myoga sitting there looking as if to bee in deep thought.

"When'd you get back here?" She asked curiously. Myoga's eyebrow twitched as he glared at Inuyasha.

"I never went back. Lord Inuyasha FORGOT me here. I've been drinking off Buyo and I am eager to get back to my own time. The blood of animals is draining." He said as he stole a swallow off of Inuyasha. The inu hanyou growled as he slapped him off his neck.

"I deserved that...." Myoga squeaked as he floated flatly to the floor.

"Kagome! Are you and that hottie coming back in here soon?" Kagome froze when she heard her friends yelling from the living room. Inuyasha held her tightly as he gave her a reassuring kiss.

"Young lord! I congratulate you on your new finding of a mate! As well as the conception of your first pup! I shall serve your family until my dieing day! Congratulations! If only your father were still here to see this-"

"Shit! I forgot about that! Outto and Sesshoumaru are still at the hut!" Kagome paled a bit.

"Inutaishou won't mind will he? But Sesshoumaru.....what's gonna happen?" Myoga looked confused at the words that they spoke until his old mind clicked.

"LORD INUTAISHOU IS ALIVE?! TAKE ME BACK NOW! I MUST SPEEK WITH HIM!! LORD INU-" Inuyasha growled down at him as Kagome left his arms and took a step towards the living room, she stopped and turned to face him when she reached the door and smiled lightly.

"I'm gonna talk to my friends. You take Myoga back, just make sure YOU come back." Inuyasha nodded grimly as Myoga hopped on his shoulders.

"Lord Inuyasha, she is a fine mate. She will make a great mother. I could not be more proud." Inuyasha looked down at Myoga and grinned.

"Thanks...."

"Ot-Inuyasha!" Inuyasha was talked down by Shippou as soon as he was standing on solid ground out of the well.

"Brat! Wh-"

"Uncle Sesshoumaru took Kagura as mate last night and now she's breeding and Inutaishou said he wants to meet you RIGHT now! he said that y-why do you smell like Kagome? Sesshoumaru smelled like Kagura and Kagura smelled like-Okkaa's your mate!" Inuyasha stood up and held the kit in front of him, he had a huge grin on his face as he wiggled out of his grasp and hugged his neck.

"Haha! Ma-Kagome's your mate! Haha! Is she having Pups? How many? What are they? Is she here-" Inuyasha clamped a hand over Shippou's mouth to stop the bombard ring of questions, he snatched the kit off his shoulder and gave him a fully look as he held him out in front of his face.

"One question at a time runt. Now, what did Outto say?" Shippou blinked as Inuyasha let his hand away from his mouth. Shippou grinned.

"He said you better get there and fast, you HAVE to congratulate Kagura and Sesshoumaru for the mating and stuff. But-OW!" Shippou growled as he stuck a finger in his mouth. Inuyasha raised an eyebrow as the kit pulled back a bloody finger.

"Wha-Whats happening?!" Inuyasha stuck one of is fingers in the kits mouth and felt his milk teeth. Shippou yipped when he felt Inuyasha's fingers in his mouth, he was about to bit him when he heard growling.

"Don't. I just want to see if your loosing your milk teeth." Shippou's eyes widens when Inuyasha pulled his finger out.

"What?"

"Your milk teeth are the tiny fangs that you have compared to a full grown demons, those are the ones you have while you are still nursing. But now that you have reached the age where you are no longer nursing, your milk teeth will fall out, and your fangs will grow. It is the first stage to growing up." Shippou looked at Myoga as he hopped on to Inuyasha's shoulder.

"Really?" Myoga nodded and Shippou instantly cheered.

"No reason to get exited pup." Inuyasha grumbled. Shippou nodded as he pulled his lip aside to show his swollen gums, you could see the new fang starting to grow under the gums.

"I'm growing up! that means that you can't call me runt or kit or brat any more!" Shippou squealed. Inuyasha blinked.

"So what?" Shippou rolled his eyes at him.

"Now you can teach me how to fight!" Inuyasha eyes widened at what the kit said.

Only close members of the family taught each other how to fight, usually brothers or fathers. Shippou had none and this meant that he closest male to him had to teach him, or he wouldn't get taught at all. Inuyasha had just met him when his father had died. But he seemed expectant of Inuyasha to teach him. Inuyasha wasn't sure the kit really new what that meant, he had basically declared him as family.

"Young kit, do you know of what you ask?" Shippou looked confused at Myoga as he crossed his arms.

"I asked Inuyasha if he could teach me how to fight and stuff?" Myoga nodded.

"Only close members of the family teach each other how to fight, like fathers and brothers." Shippou's eyebrows ceased.

"So? He's the best fighter I know of, Sesshoumaru couldn't even beat him! And he's been training all his life! And Inuyasha's like a dad to me-....."Shippou froze in complete and utter fear as he looked up at Inuyasha. The hanyou had frozen like him and was looking down at him with huge, surprised eyes.

"Um......I think I'll head to Keade's on my own......" Myoga mumbled as he leapt off Inuyasha's shoulder.
