Stressful Day's
Sixteen: LET'S TALK!!
I don't own Inuyasha...BUT I REALY WISH I DID!!!
Shippou could only look at the golden eyes of the inu hanyou as he shook with fear. He had slipped up and told him the secret that he had kept to himself for months. He had thought of the inu hanyou as a father and he knew that he didn't feel the same way, so, he did the only thing he could think to do when he was in complete fear.
He ran.
However, he didn't head towards the forest, he knew that the hanyou would find him; he knew that he would kill him. Inuyasha hated him. But Kagome didn't. He ran as fast as he could go, as fast as his little fox feat would carry him to the well.
He pulled out a jewel fragment that Kagome had given him from under his robes and held onto it tightly as he quickly jumped over the side of the well.

"So, Kago, who was that totally hot guy just a few minutes ago, where did he disappear to?" Eri asked as she leaned in with an evil grin on her face. Kagome eased back a bit when she saw that look in her eye. Eri could be a bashful schoolgirl one minute, and a female Miroku on his best or worse day the nextalways gave her the creeps.
"Inuyasha. His name was Inuyasha. He's my husband-"
"KAGOME!!" Kagome was instantly on her feat in a flash, she may look human, but she still had her new hanyou/youkai instincts and her senses, even if she didn't have her strength and speed.
And right now they were screaming to protect her young.
"What was that?!" Yuka asked as she and he other two girls stood up in a flash, They were to busy looking around for what screamed to see the FFBOS *flying fur ball of Shippouness.*
"Shippou, what happened?!" She asked as she held him up, she saw that he looked like youkai and hid him as she rushed out of the room.
"Be back in a minute!" Eri, Yuka, and Arumi just stood there as they watched there friend head up stairs and into her room.
"Where are they?!" The three girls turned there heads to see the exasperated hunk named Inuyasha as he burst through the front door.
"In.h-her room-" Inuyasha nodded as he ran over to the stairs and cleared the stairs in one leap.

"Shippou! Calm down! What happened?!" Kagome asked worriedly. Shippou ran through her time and was balling his eyes out, something was wrong and her instincts were going haywire.
"Inuyasha's gonna kill me!" He whaled. Kagome was about to ask him what he was talking about when the said hanyou burst though the door.
"Inuyasha, what is he talking about? He says your gonna kill him!" Shippou froze when he saw the hanyou enter the room. He was scared, what if Kagome hated him too? He couldn't bear it.
"Kagome, we BOTH need to have a talk with him." He said as he sat on the bed next to Kagome and the scared kit.
"About what?" Kagome asked as she held the scared kit closer.
"Shippou sa-"
"I said he was a dad to me! And your like a mom! Okay?! Now kill me and get it over with!" He yelled. Kagome blinked as she looked down at him.
"Shippou..what makes you think we're gonna kill you? WE knew you thought of us like parents, well, I did any way. And I love you WAY to much to kill you, what makes you think I'd ever do that?" Kagome asked as she held the kit closer.
"Because demons never adopt another's kid unless they were close family. That's probably what scared the hell out of him." Inuyasha said as he took the kit from her lap and held him at eye level with him.
"First off, if I wanted to kill you, don't you think I would have done it when we first met? Instead of taking you under my wing? The worst I ever did to you was give you a few bops on the head, and your starting to dodge them. Like I wanted you to." Shippou growled at him.
"What about throwing me against walls?!" Inuyasha rose an eyebrow.
"Those never really hurt and you know it." Shippou stopped growling as he held his head.
"But you'd still never adopt mewhen the jewel is collected and Naraku's dead, I'm out the door while you all live happy lives" Kagome laughed as she took him back from the hanyou.
"Where are you getting all this from? Of course we'll adopt you! As far as I'm concerned, we already did!" She laughed as she ruffled his hair. Shippou's eyes widened as she held him.
"We're all a pack anyway." Inuyasha said. Kagome nodded, even though she didn't know what a pack was.
"So, is there a special way of doing this?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha nodded as he moved the kits hair out the way of the back of is neck.
"I bite in the middle, you bite after me. But Kagome, this is more serious than you think. He'd be dubbed as my first born, and my heir. If Sesshoumaru dies, I'm next in line, even if he has his own heir. Then his heir, and then mine. And my heir would be Shippou. There's a chance he'd have to rule the lands." He said. Kagome nodded as she looked down at Shippou.
"Do you think you can take that kind of responsibility?" She asked. Shippou looked as though in deep thought. But finally nodded.
"Yes. I would have to have a LOT of training for it, but I could do itI think." Inuyasha gave him a sharp look.
"You can't think you can do it. You need to know you can." Shippou nodded as he stood up to him bravely. He nodded under the eyes of the older inu hanyou.
"Yes. I can do it. And I will if I have to." He said. Inuyasha looked at him dead in the eye, trying do decide if he was lying or not.
He wasn't.
"Okay b-..Shippou. Consider yourself adopted." Inuyasha said as he swiftly snatched the kit under his arms. Shippou yipped as Inuyasha pulled his hair out of the way and bit down HARD on the back of his neck.
"Orree I-o, u- I- asth oo ee un." (* Sorry Shippou, but it has to be done*) He said as he sank his fangs in deeper. Shippou wanted to cry out from the pain, but he wanted to show Inuyasha how brave he was and held it back. He hissed though when Inuyasha pulled his fangs out of his young flesh.
"Okay, Your turn." Kagome felt uneasy as Inuyasha passed the kit to her, it made her feel like he was handing her something like a piece of meat to eat rather than her soon to be adopted son. But she took the kit never the less and gently moved his hair out the way as she dropped her disguise. She lowered her mouth and sank her teeth in as far as they could go into the already open flesh.
"That's good, now hand him here." Kagome nodded as she did, being careful of Shippou. Inuyasha took the kit carefully in his arms and, with the hair still out of the way, put a finger to his own fangs. Kagome watched as he bit down to get a drop of blood.
"You do the same." Kagome nodded as she put her forefinger to her mouth, she bit down and noted how it barley felt like a pinch. She and Inuyasha held there fingers over the kits open wounds and dropped one drop of blood onto each fang hole. The wounds closed instantly, but left a mark, and a bit of a smell.
"Okay pup, your adopted." Shippou looked up and could only get in one breath before he was engulfed in a light. Kagome was worried, she was about to ask Inuyasha what the hell was going on when she stopped and saw that he wasn't doing anything.
"What's wrong?! What's going on?! Inuyasha!" Kagome asked as she watched Shippou begin to float slightly.
"He's changing. When an adoption happens, if the adopted isn't of the same species.They soon become the same." He said. Kagome watched as she saw Shippou's tail shrink and disappear, his ears grow and stretch to the top of his head and shape themselves as puppy ears. His hair stayed the same, except it turned silver white. His eyes were glowing white , but even that died down to revel golden orbs with green edges. His fox feet even grew and reshaped as more human looking legs.
"What's.happening?" Kagome breathed as she watched Shippou's body transform.
"He's changing, he's no longer going to be a kitsune demon, he's gonna be an inu hanyou. as though he was truly our first born. Myoga told me allot of stuff, I ignored most of it, but this kinda caught my interest...." Kagome nodded dumbly as she watched him finish, newly transformed inu pup cease to glow and fall into Inuyasha's lap.
"What just happened? Why do I feel....stronger?" Shippou asked as he looked at his new claws. Inuyasha ruffled his hair as he stood.
"Cause you got mine and Kagome's blood running through your veins." He said. Shippou's eyes widened as he looked at his new father.
"Really? I'm like I was your son from the start.....Outto?" Inuyasha nodded as he ruffled his hair again. Kagome giggled as she stood and picked him up at the same time.
"Oh Shippou! You look so cute! You even have the puppy ears!" Shippou giggled as well as she spun while she was holding him.
"Really Okkaa? I'm cuter?" Kagome giggled.
"You were always cute, but now you look different, but still cute." Shippou nodded as she held him in her arms. He snuggled into her embrace and sighed. he had a family again, he had a home. He was finally someone's kid, not just a stupid orphan youkai.......he was someone's son.

"What's taking so long I wonder?" Arumi asked as she and the other girls looked at the STILL locked door. They all sighed and shook there heads. Yuka was about to stand when The door opened and a kid shot out the door. He had a baseball hat on as well as a oversized black T-shirt on it that obviously belonged to the Inuyasha guy.
"Hi, my names Shippou!" he said as he crawled up the side of the couch. Eri squealed as she picked up the child.
"Oh! Your the cutest thing I ever did see! Are you a friend of Souta's?" She asked as she hugged him.
"Would you let my kid go?" Inuyasha asked as he suddenly plucked Shippou out of the girls hands, it was weird saying that Shippou was his son, but he was gonna have to get used to it. He was now.
The girls' eyes bugged out at what he said as Shippou maneuvered in his arms so he was sitting piggy neck. Kagome giggled as she walked in the room, she had her disguise back on, and laughed as she saw the shocked and surprised faces of her friends.
"Kagome! Your boyfriend has a kid?" Arumi asked as she looked between her friend and the two boys, the kid named Shippou was resting his head on Inuyasha's hat, looking as though he was going to sleep.
"Yah, what of it?" She asked as she held a hand on her own belly. Inuyasha's eye twitched a bit they were talking as though he wasn't even in the room! He was brought to attention when he felt and heard Shippou yawn widely against his head. He reached up and took the little hanyou from his head and turned towards Kagome.
"Kagome, my father was calling me, apparently, Sesshoumaru and Kagura have become mates and are breeding. I have to go over and congratulate them and shit. I need you to watch him while *I* tell them about our little position. Don't let him get hurt, stay off your feet, drink lots of water.....and......" He trailed off, Kagome shook her head as she took Shippou and gently turned him around. She laughed lightly as she pushed him towards the door.
".....oh yah! keep you temper in check, and DON'T use your powers!" He whispered. Kagome nodded as they reached the door. Inuyasha suddenly turned and had her in a deep kiss.
"And be safe." He said as he slowly released her lips. Kagome nodded dumbly as he walked out the door.
"Yah, sure." She mumbled as she walked back in the living room to face her friends, her fingers touched her lips as she held Shippou. She was blushing as she entered the Living Room.
"Kagome?"
