Chapter 16: What a day

Inuyasha was just about half way to Keade's place when he remembered that he was still in his futuristic clothing, he grumbled to himself, he didn't want to go back just to change clothes, but then again, he didn't really want to congratulate his fucking brother for getting a mate either.

"Ah, fuck it." And with that said he turned around and started towards the well again. He didn't want to leave Kagome with those hounds that she called friends either, especially when she was carrying their first pup.

He didn't think it was soon enough that he reached the wells side before he jumped in without a second thought.

Kagome took a step back as her `friends' advanced on her. Shippou was getting a little nervous himself. Eri stood up straight and put her hands on her hips while giving Kagome a hard look.

"Spill."

Shippou looked up at his adopted mother and frowned a little, she was nervous and that made him nervous, he felt like he had to protect his mother, he wanted to keep her and his little brother or sister safe! So he stood up on his new more human like feet and gave then a hard look.

"Leave my Okkaa-san alone!"

Inuyasha walked into the living room just in time to hear the little demand by Shippou, he could smell the nervousness in the air and was instantly worried about his family.

The hanyou rushed into the living room to see Shippou standing in front of Kagome while she was standing behind him smiling and laughing nervously, the three girls wore completely and utterly shocked looks.

"What's going on?" Shippou turned around to see him and ran over to him a little wobbly on his new feet. Inuyasha bent down and picked the pup up and walked over to Kagome.

"Nothing, why aren't you at Keade's yet?" She said as she gave him a thankful glance. The said hanyou gave the three girls, who were watching his every move while still shocked, a dirty look for upsetting his mate.

"I need to change my clothes, and I think that you should come with me, being as since my dumb ass brother got a…wife, I should bring you down with Shippou." He said as he moved in front of her and her friends. Kagome thanked Kami that he didn't slip up and say `mate'.

"WAIT A MINUTE!" Everyone turned they're heads to see Eri with an annoyed and confused look. Kagome frowned, this was going to be a long day, she didn't want her friends to know about her, not yet, she wasn't ready for them to know all her secrets.

"Um…ok, this is Inuyasha and Shippou…"

Kagome and Inuyasha waved off her friends as they left, it had been hard to tell them answers that fit and that didn't tell the truth. Inuyasha gave a `Keh', as Kagome shut the door, Shippou on his shoulder.

"Those friends of yours are way too nosy." Kagome nodded as she walked over to him. He had yet to change and Shippou needed some better clothes, the old Kimono he had wouldn't fit him right anymore, he was a little bigger, had no tail, and had human like feet.

"Shippou, come here so I can get you some better clothes than my Tee shirt, Inuyasha, you get dressed so we can go." Shippou nodded, exited that he was gonna get clothes. Inuyasha nodded, he gave her a kiss on the cheek before they headed up the stairs.

"Ok, you get your robes on and I'll root through Souta's old things for Shippou, he looks like he'll fit the clothes he wore when he was around five or six." Inuyasha nodded as he went into Kagome's room as she headed into Souta's room. It was a strange thing in her family, they keep all the clothes they had in a box in they're closet.

*~* Half an hour later….*~*

Inuyasha waited in the living room downstairs, he had been ready to go for a while now, but Kagome had to have Shippou `perfect' before they left. He grumbles as he got up and walked over to the stairs.

"Are you two ready YET?" He yelled up the stairs annoyed, when he got only giggling for an answer, he walked up the stairs and headed over to Souta's room.

He reached out for the knob….

And was instantly tackled by Kagome and Shippou, tickling him to the point where he had tears in his eyes. Shippou sat on his chest in his new look, a little brown Kimono with matching brown pants that were covered in little green leaves. It was a good camouflage. Inuyasha noted that he had his hair back up again as well, but it looks like Kagome trimmed his bangs so his ears weren't disturbed. Kagome giggled as she picked up the pup and helped Inuyasha to his feet.

"Are you ready to go YET?" He grumbled as he and his small family walked down the hall, Kagome nodded a yes as they reached the stairs, as soon as she gave her affirmative, his picked them up and leapt down the stairs, ran through the living room, out the back door, and down the well.

"Wow Sango, that's a BIG weapon!" Rin and Kanna said as they watched the huntress polish her weapon. She smiled as she paused and lifted it up to show them its full size. They're eyes went as big as saucers.

"Its not that great you know, just a big bone that she can throw around." Everyone turned they're attention to Inuyasha as he and Kagome entered the hut.

"Lord Inuyasha, your father has been looking for you…it really is important that you see him…" Myoga said as he watched Shippou, everyone was staring at him, he felt a little uncomfortable, everyone was just satring at him. Kagome got a little annoyed with it and picked him up and cradled him.

"Um…Kagome…who is that?" Sango asked confused, shippou had disappeared and this new kid just came in with they're friends.

"That's they're pup. It's Shippou." Everyone turned around to see the hard look of Inutaishou, Inuyasha noted the hard and powerful tone in his voice That said he was in deep trouble…

"Inuyasha, I want to speak with you." He said as he walked over and passed him, when Inuyasha didn't immediately come, when Inutaishou reached the base of the shrine huts steops, he gave an animalistic bark and Inuyasha paled. Everyone in the hut with demon blood running through they're body shudder, Sango, Miroku, Keade, and Rin were confused as Inuyasha turned around and left the hut.

"Inuyasha!"

The said hanyou reached the clearing where his father stood, he knew why he was calling him and what he was going to talk to him about. He still didn't like it though.

"Yes Ottou-san?" He said, his unease etching into his voice.

"You mated the girl, adopted a pup, and are about to become a father yourself!" Inuyasha nodded sternly, he knew what he meant by that. He wasn't afraid of his father, nor did he respect him that much, he didn't even realy love him. He was never around when he was a pup, and died when he was little. He only called him by a respectable name because he felt he was obligated to. He was torn from his thoughts when Inutaishou's voice came to him again.

"You are too young to have a mate! You adopted a pup, one that wasn't even of your species! Turned your mate hanyou, and now she's pupped! She can't travel, she can't fight, and from what all I've been told, she's in no condition to fight that Naraku man-"He was cut off by Inuyasha's growling.

"SUT UP! You have NO idea what Kagome is ir is not capable of! You have no idea what we know, think, or feel-you don't even have an idea as to whats happened to me or Sesshoumaru or your lands after you died!" He spat angrily. Inutaishou snarled as this it was quick as lightning before he had Inuyasha by the throught.

"Now YOU shut up and listen to me pup! Don't forget that I am your father and-" He was cut off once again by Inuayasha's snarlying, The hanyou's eyes flashed red as he took a swipe at his arm. Inuyasha dodged the attack and released his hold on him.

"AND WHAT?! You'll disown me? You'll kill me? You'll kill my family, friends, you'll beat the hell out of me? WHAT?! I don't give a rats furrly little ass if you disown me! The day you died I was thrown out of the palace, by Sesshoumaru! I've been on my own ever since! And I'd like to see you try and kill me, I'm just as good a fighter as Sesshoumaru if not better, And if you go anywhere near my friends or family, you won't live long enough to see your first grandchild…" He gritted out through a low growl. Inutaishou looked shocked and appauled by this.

"Inuyasha-"

"No! You listen and you listen good! I don't know what the fuck Naraku brought yoru sorry ass back for, but I sure as hell wish he kept you dead!" And with that he ran back to the hut, Inutaishou just sat there, totally speechless, shocked, and scared as he watched his son run off.

"Inuyasha…"

Sorry for the long delay of the chapter…writers block sucks…its shorter than normal-but hey-IT A CHAPTER!

I think my WB id done and over with, I have a few Ideas and could use more! *really big fake smile*
