There they were, Eri lying on the couch, Yuka and Ayumi were sitting on the floor near Eri, and Kagome was standing in front of them. No one dared to speak a word for almost half an hour until Yuka broke this uncomfortable silence

"Kagome, you said that your boyfriend Inu…ya…sha was a demon… Is it true, I mean it seemed like you didn't want to say it but it slipped" asked the girl with a barely audible voice as if she did not want to wake her sleepy friend. Kagome just looked at her, not saying anything

"Well…" added Yuka

"You're right, I didn't want to say that, and I don't know how it got out. But yeah it is true, Inuyasha is half demon, and I have to confess, he's not from this time either" This confession stunned them, they couldn't move, as if they were turned to stone by Kagome's words.

"But… but, but demons don't exist, they're just in fairy tales and scary stories our moms told us to make us go to bed" Ayumi managed to say, she wanted to believe Kagome because she was her friend and wouldn't lie to her, but on the other hand if it were true, it would mean that Kagome WAS lying to them all along.

"What did I miss" asked Eri who was now awake and rested from the shock she suffered from. Kagome was about to speak when Yuka interrupted

"Kagome was telling us that her secret crush is a demon from the past"

"You mean just like in her story? That the well is really a portal to the feudal era of Japan" asked Eri who recovered from the past events. The three girls needed answers and Kagome could not hide anything anymore since it was all revealed

"I guess I've got to tell you the truth since it isn't a secret anymore, the story that I've told you about is very real, on my 15th birthday, I didn't get sick, I fell into the well and really got transported 500 years in the past" Now they were turned to stone as they did not expect that at all. Kagome continued "I can go back to the past and come back and like you saw, Inuyasha too can come here anytime" The three girls were shocked and didn't know what to say

"You mean demons can come here" asked Eri with fear in her voice

"Yes, I mean no, only Inuyasha was able to pass through the well" replied Kagome

Meanwhile, Inuyasha was sitting on the highest branch of the thousand year old tree; he thought to himself that he couldn't go back to his time without Kagome because he would have to explain to the monk, the exterminator and the annoying fox why Kagome didn't come with him. And he wasn't in the mood for so many questions. It was then that he saw the same girl storm out of the house screaming

"How can you live in this house where any demon can attack any moment" she yelled,

"Eri, wait" said Kagome who followed her and was followed by Ayumi and Yuka. Inuyasha's ears immediately picked up the two words demon and attack, he jumped from his beloved tree on to the roof of the house where he could see everything.

Eri was running away followed by Kagome, Ayumi and Yuka; she was halfway across the street when she tripped and fell down. Then there was a screeching sound. Inuyasha saw this huge metal thing Kagome called car heading towards the girl, he saw that it wouldn't be able to stop in time so he leaped towards it and withdrew the Tetsuaiga. As soon as it transformed into its giant fang like form, he slashed the hood off the car making a clean cut through the motor and all, causing the car to drift off its course and not hit Eri and he landed two feet away from her.

When the car came to a halt, the driver got out furiously, seeing the damage to his precious SUV (if you knew me, you would know I hate SUV's, I mainly blame their poor braking capabilities and tendency to roll over when you break and turn to evade something or someone)

"What did you do to my car you son of a b…" the man saw Inuyasha's angry face showing his fangs and his huge sword still fuming "Look man I don't want any trouble…" he said while making on or two steps back "The car aint no big deal" he said while running away.

"Are you ok" calmly asked Inuyasha who but back his sword in its shed and offered her a hand to get her up on her feet. She refused his help and started screaming

"Get away from me you filthy demon" before running away and hop in the bus that happened to pass at this time. Inuyasha did not go after her because Kagome had told him it was ok.

"You heard that Kagome, she called me a filthy demon, even after I saved her life two times"

"It's ok Inuyasha" she replied

"I'm going back home, and you better get back to the jewel hunt before the sun is down" he said angrily before running towards the well. The remaining two girls were frightened to come close but now that he was gone they walked towards Kagome

"What was that" asked Yuka and before anyone else could say anything, her mom drove by in her car

"Yuka, its me, time to go back home. Ayumi, your mom called me and asked me if I could pick you up so you're coming with us. I hope you all had fun" said the woman

"Yeah mom, give us 2 minutes to get our stuff ready" Once all three of them were gone, Kagome started packing her huge backpack and picked up the little glass bottle she use to keep her shards in.

`Wait a sec, I sense another jewel shard in the house, 1, 2, 3, 4, no non of my shards are missing, its over there on my bed'
