Kagome put the little bottle on her desk and went to her bed, where she had sensed the jewel

`It's Eri's stuff, she didn't take them when she ran away' she inspected the pile and found a necklace, she had sensed the jewel in that necklace. It was an ordinary chain and a little pendent that had a pearl inserted in it, but there was something wrong with that pearl, it wasn't round like usual but elongated. It had the shape of the iris of a cat, and then it hit her

`I get it, it wasn't a grain of sand that formed this pearl, a clam must have eaten a jewel shard and it formed this odd pearl' she now understood why Eri was able to go through the well `I'll have to deal with this later cause if I don't go to Inuyasha, I'll have to deal with his bad mood and I don't want that' she thought to herself. She left the necklace on her desk and headed for the well with her enormous backpack.



500 years in the past


"Why didn't Kagome come with you Inuyasha?" questioned the monk

"Feh!!" Inuyasha gave him his usual answer

"What did you do to her this time for her to be this mad at you?" he insisted.

"Kagome! Kagome! Kagome! Your back!!" the little fox like demon rushed at her, he had missed her and Inuyasha made his life extra miserable when Kagome away.

"Yeah, I'm back, I missed you too Shippo"

"Would you stop that, you're so loud you're gona attract some demons. And I'm not in the mood for that right now" protested the hanyou who started walking towards Kaede's hut

"He certainly is in a bad mood today, what happened back there?" asked Sango

"I'll explain it later, it's getting late for jewel hunt so we better head back to camp" the other girl replied.

SMACK!!!!

"Keep those for yourself monk" Miroku was on the ground with a big bump on his head, Sango was putting her giant boomerang back on her shoulders

"Now that's a scene I'll never get tiered of" commented Kagome causing her demon exterminator friend to blush a little.

The sun had set, Kagome was explaining to Sango what had caused Inuyasha to be so irritable, Miroku was listening from the other side of the fire trying to look like if he was thinking about something important so the girls wouldn't know he was spying. Shippo and the little cat youkai were sleeping and Inuyasha was up on his branch mumbling about something. One by one everyone went inside to get some sleep except Inuyasha who, like always, liked to sleep on his branch.



The present time


Early in the morning, around 8 o'clock, Eri went to Kagome's house. Se got off the bus and walked the 50 meters that separated the bus stop from her friend's house, she went up to the door and rang the doorbell.

"Who is it" asked an annoyed male voice

"I'm Eri, one of Kagome's friends" she replied

"Well she took the cat to the vet, come back tomorrow" the grandpa said

"You see, yesterday I kind of left in a hurry and I forgot my stuff in Kagome's bedroom" He let her in telling her not to touch anything else. Once up in her room, she saw her clothes, nicely folded on Kagome's bed.

"I've got everything I came for" it was only then that she realized her necklace was missing "Oh my God, my necklace, if I go home without it my mom is going to kill me, this necklace was in my family's possession for at least a couple of hundred years" Indeed, this pearl coated jewel shard was passed down from mother to daughter for generations. She looked everywhere for it until, to her great relief, she found it on the desk.

The girl then noticed that the covers on the bed were not moved, as if no one had slept on it, more disturbing is that she saw the cat wandering in the room `wait a minute, if Kagome didn't sleep in her room and she's not at the vet, that means that, OH my God, its true, she's at the well thing' the girl raced out of the house and headed for the well house. She opened the doors and entered

`I was here two days ago, and I fell into that well, if I jump in it, I would probably go where Kagome is' she was hesitant, she saw it was at least 20 feet deep and that if it didn't work she would at least strain an ankle if not break it. "A girl's gota do what a girl's gota do" and she jumped. Soon she was surrounded by a now familiar purple light and she was now in the feudal era.

Once out of the well and on the ground, she started walking around, trying to figure out where her friend might have been, she regretted what she did and started to panic but, she soon calmed down when she saw smoke nearby,

`Oh I'm saved, if there is smoke, it means there is a village nearby' she walked towards the smoke until she could see the village while staying concealed by the bushes. She could now see Kagome, Miroku and Sango but not Inuyasha who was on his branch. She felt someone grab her shoulder and she heard a male voice

"It is not very nice of you to spy"
