"It's not very nice of you to spy" said the unfamiliar male voice, Eri froze, and she lost all ability to speak or move, she couldn't even gasp. The man from who originated the voice turned the girl around to see her face, and to his surprise was not who he thought it would be

"Strange, I've never seen you here before" he said.

On his branch "Not him again" said the half demon out loud

"Not him who?" asked Kagome not sure of who he was referring to.

"Why does he always have to show up from nowhere" complained Inuyasha, "Show yourself you worthless piece of trash" he shouted angrily

"I see you are ever so happy to see me, Brother" said the voice while walking out of concealment.

"You're no brother of mine"

"Look Inuyasha, I brought you a gift" Sesshomaru said holding Eri by the back of her shirt; she had regained her senses and struggled to get free. "I found her spying in the bushes, and I thought you might know her" added the demon lord, dropping the girl to the ground.

"Eri" gasped a surprised Kagome, "What are you doing here" she added

"I came back at your house for my stuff and I noticed you were gone so I…" she said running towards her friend and was cut off by Kagome

"You should never have come here, you could have gotten yourself killed"

"Shippo, take Eri to Kaede's hut with you and stay there with her until it is safe" added Kagome

"Why do I have to go, I wana stay and see what happens" protested the girl

"Well, Inuyasha and his brother kind of hate each other for some reason that no one seem to know and it could get ugly, you're gona be safer in the village" said the little fox trying to sound like a grown up.

Back with Inuyasha "Why are you here Sesshomaru?" he asked with an aggressive tone, "I bet it has nothing to do with breakfast" he added.

"Draw your sword Inuyasha" the youkai lord said with absolutely no emotion in his voice and drawing his tokijin

"What is it this time"

"Have you not heard the rumors?" asked the demon lord

"What rumors" asked Inuyasha "Do you not know that the Ryuukotsusei is dead"

"Oh that giant snake-like dragon, I killed him"

"So it is true, they say that a half-breed slayed the Ryuukotsusei in his sleep. How could you dishonor our father in such way" Sessomaru lost his temper and his eyes flashed red "You destroyed every hope to avenge father's death"

"What do you mean in his sleep, I didn't…" he was cut off

"Did you non know that after having sealed the demon father could have killed him easily, he wanted to kill it while awake"

"If you would let me place a word, maybe you would understand" the younger brother said "I did not slay Ryuukotsusei while he was sealed, Naraku melted the fang in his heart, he knew who I was and he certainly was not sealed when I slayed it"

"I cannot sense the lie in your voice, yet I now this cannot be the truth, do you not know that even father was unable to slay the beast" the bigger brother said

"It is the truth and you better learn to live with it, I killed it with the tetsuaiga, and believe me, he's a lot tougher than you so I suggest you think about it twice the next time you come to kill me" having heard this, Sesshomaru returned to his old stoic self

"Inuyasha, I have no more business with you, you avenged father's death… that marks the end of our quarrels…brother…" he said while taking his leave

"Well this was the last thing I expected from him" said Miroku,

"I agree" added Kagome

"Wait Sesshomaru, tell me something, why didn't you try to avenge our father's death?" Inuyasha asked his brother who had stopped walking but didn't turn around to them. He ignored the question

"Jaken!"

"Yes milord"

"Call Rin, were leaving"

"Yes milord" replied the small green demon

Inuyasha shouted so he could be heard "Don't tell me that the great Sesshomaru was scared of the big dragon" he teased him

"Until we meet again Inuyasha" was the only answer he got from him this day.

"I can't believe what just happened" said Sango,

"Me neither, those two have been fighting one another for as long as I know them, I can't believe they would just make peace so easily" added Miroku.

"Anyways, let's go get Eri, we have things to sort out with her" said Kagome, leading the way to the village.
