CHAPTER 17
In the morning Kagome was the first one to awaken.
“Inuyasha!” Kagome whispered as she nudged at his shoulder.
“Hummm…go back to sleep….its to early!” Inuyasha mumbled.
“Inuyasha we have to go and get Sango and Miroku!” Kagome said.
She then shuved him and he finally got up. Once they left Shippo went over to help Kaede with some more work around the village.
“Sango some people are here to see you!” Kohaku yelled.
Sango walked over and was surprised to see Inuyasha and Kagome.
“So whats up?” Sango asked as she walked into the demon slayer village.
“WOW!” Kagome gasped. “This place looks like new!”
“Yeah Kohaku and I have been working on it day and night for about 3 months now.” Sango said with a smile on her face.
“Well the reason we are here is, because Inuyasha and I are getting married and we want you and Kohaku to come to the wedding.” Kagome said.
Sango dropped her bowl of stew on the floor and her eyes got wide as she developed a weird look on her face. “What!” Sango blurted out.
Kagome blushed. “Yepp its true.”
“But..I….are you serious?” Sango studdered.
“YES! Now are you coming to the wedding or not!” Inuyasha shouted with his face beat red.
“Yes of corse I am! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!” Sango said happily.
Once they got out of the hut Sango told Kohaku and they where off.
“Now to go and get Miroku.” Kagome said.
“I wouldn’t doubt that he is groping some girl right about now…” Inuyasha said as he jumped from tree to tree with Kagome on his back.
Sango’s face turned red and she looked up at Inuyasha. “It seems like forever sence we have all seen each other.”
“I know.” Kagome answered looking down at Sango and Kohaku rideing on Kirara.
About an hour later they came apone Mushin’s hut. As Kagome got off of Inuyasha’s back she yelled “Hello? Is anyone here?”
Just then Mushin came out of the hut.
“OH! Its all of you!” Mushin said. “I will go and get Miroku.”
A bit later Mushin came back and Miroku was walking behind him.
“Mushin what’s the matter? Why are you rushing me back to the hut for?”
Then he looked up and saw everyone waiting there.
“S…Sango? Kagome? Inuyasha? What are all of you doing here?” Miroku asked with a surprised look on his face.
“We are inviting you to mine and Inuyasha’s wedding.” Kagome said cheerfully.
Miroku’s mouth dropped.
“WOULD EVERYONE JUST GET OFF OUR BACKS!” Inuyasha yelled in an annoyed voice. “We are getting married so what?!?!”
Once they all got to Kaede’s village Shippo came running.
“Sango! Miroku! Kirara!” Shippo yelled and gave everyone of them a hug.
Inuyasha and Kagome went over inside the hut. Miroku and Sango where outside talking to Kaede asking her how all this happened.
“Well Kagome and Inuyasha went on a bike ride a few weeks after you and Miroku left. Now I herd all this from Kagome. She told me that they where sitting on a hill and Inuyasha had been having a serious thinking face the whole time they where there. Then before they came back to the village he asked her.” Kaede explaned.
Sango’s face was blank. So was Miroku’s. Kohaku was over playing with Shippo and Kirara.
“So when is the wedding?” Miroku asked.
“Tomorrow sometime.” Kaede said.
“I feel so happy for them.” Sango said with a smile.
Later that night Inuyasha was laying down outside looking at the stars. “Tomarrow is the big day.” he thought. “Am I ready for this?” he asked himself. “Yes this is who I truly wanna be with for the rest of my life.”
Kagome was in the hut laying in her sleeping bag. “I am ready for this.” Kagome said.
Just then something came to her mind.
“OH NO!!” Kagome thought. Kagome got up and ran out of the hut. Inuyasha was startled and he jumped about 10 feet in the air.
“Kagome! Oh my god don’t scare me like that!” Inuyasha yelled.
Kagome grabed Inuyasha by the arms and started to run pulling him along with her.
“What are you doing? Where are we going?” Inuyasha asked.
“To get my mom and grandpa and Sota! We forgot about them! And the wedding is tomarrow!” Kagome yelled.
Once they got to the well Kagome held on to Inuyasha and they jumped into the well.
They got out of the well and where in Kagome’s era. Kagome ran to the front door and Inuyasha fallowed. Kagome’s mom was still up doing some paper work in the kitchen. When she heard noise coming from the living room she grabbed her broom and walked slowly into the living room doorway.
“WACK!” Kagome’s mom hit Inuyasha upside the head with the broom.
“Take that you robber!” She yelled.
Kagome then turned on the light and Kagome’s mom noticed that it was Inuyasha she hit.
“Oh! Inuyasha! I am so sorry! What are you two doing here?” She asked.
“Umm mom…you might wanna sit down for this.” Kagome said nervously.
“Ok Kagome honey your acting odd.” Kagome’s mother said as she sat down on the sofa.
“Inuyasha asked me…aaaa….to….ummm” Kagome studdered. “To marry him and I said yes and the wedding is tomarrow and you and Sota and grandpa have to come!” Kagome said this so fast she almost fell over, but Inuyasha cought her.
Her mother’s eyes filled up with tears.
“Oh Kagome that’s wonderful!” she cried.
“Inuyasha will come and get all of you in the morning, but now we have to go ok.” Kagome said hugging her mom.
Once they got back to the fudle era Kagome went to sleep. But Inuyasha ran off into the woods. About an hour later he came across Ah un. Ah un is Sesshomaru’s dragion type thing.
“He is here.” Inuyasha thought. “Sesshomaru!” Inuyasha yelled.
Moments after he said that Sesshomaru appered in front of him.
“What do you want?” he asked in a devilsh voice.
“Kagome and I are getting married tomarrow and if you want to come you can.” Inuyasha said. “Because we are family and all…its not like I want you to come but everyone else is so…”
“Humm.” that’s all Sesshoamru said.
Then Inuyasha left.
In the morning Kagome was the first one to get up. She was running around making sure everything was ready. Then when the sun was riseing Inuyasha went to get Kagome’s family. At around noon everyone was there and waiting. Then Kagome’s grandpa walked Kagome to Inuyasha. Kaede was going marry Inuyasha and Kagome. Once Kagome got up by Inuyasha Kaede started so say “Do ye Inuyasha take Kagome to be your wife forever and love her with all your heart, to protect her from any danger and spend all eternity with her?”
“I do.” Inuyasha said.
Kaede turned to Kagome. “And do ye Kagome take Inuyasha to be your husband forever and love him with all your heart, to protect him from any danger and spend all eternity with him?”
“I do.” Kagome said.
“Inuyasha you may kiss your bride!” Kaede said happily.
Inuyasha kissed Kagome. After the wedding everyone was talking. Inuyasha was walking hand in hand with Kagome when he saw someone. It was Sesshomaru.
“He came?” Inuyasha thought.
“Inuyasha! Look! Sesshomaru is here.” Kagome said pointing to him.
“Yeah I guess he did.” Inuyasha said.
After a bit Miroku, Sango, and Kohaku where the only ones left there.
“I still can’t believe all this just happened.” Miroku said.
“I know. But I guess Inuyasha finally got the guts to do this sorta thing.” Sango laughed.
Sango then walked over to talk to Kagome.
“Sango! Hey we havent had much of a chance to talk sence yesterday.” Kagome said smiling.
“Kagome. I havent seen any signs of Kagura or Kanna lately.” Sango said in a worried voice.
“I know. Neither have we.” Kagome answered.
“I wonder if they died?” Kagome asked.
“I doubt it.” Inuyasha said walking up to them.
“Kagome, I am sorry but Kohaku and I have to get back to the demon slayer village. But I sware that we will come back soon to visit.” Sango said. “Kohaku! Get Kirara, we have to get back home.”
So Kohaku grabed Kirara and they left.
“I better be on my way too.” Miroku said. “Thanks for inviting me and good luck!” Then he walked off into the woods.
“Inuyasha….” Kagome said.
“Yeah.” Came the reply.
Kagome jus smiled and walked into the hut. Inuyasha and Shippo fallowed.
“….we have to find a place to live now.” She said.
“But arnt we going to stay here?” Shippo asked.
“Nope we are going to have to have a bigger hut.” Kagome answered.
“But….” Inuyasha started. “…Oh never mind.”
“Inuyasha did you want to stay here?” Kagome asked.
“No…Just forget I said anything.” He said.
“Well we need a bigger place if we are ever going to have children!” Kagome said.
Inuyasha’s eyes got wide buy that word. Childern.
“What..but why would you think of that! WE JUST GOT MARRIED!” Inuyasha yelled.
His face was red from embarissment. Kagome also blushed.
“Well I do think we are going to have kids someday…..not soon….but someday! Right?” Kagome asked.
“Well….” Inuyasha started. “aaaaa……” Inuyasha blushed.
“OH JUST NEVER MIND!” Kagome yelled and stormed out of the hut.
“Oh boy marrige problems already…..” Shippo thought.
“BUT! KAGOME GET BACK HERE!” Inuyasha yelled. “Its not my fult if I cant make up my mind! Give me a brake here!” He yelled running after her.
Inuyasha grabbed Kagome’s shoulder and spun her around. Kagome looked at Inuyasha for a minute.
“Oh Inuyasha I am sorry! I’m just not use to all this yet!” Kagome cried and barried her face into Inuyasha.
“Its ok Kagome, to tell you the truth neither am I.” Inuyasha said as he picked up Kagome and carried her back to the hut.
“We don’t even need to move for a bit, because I am NOT ready to have kids, but I do want to. Someday.” Kagome said looking up at Inuyasha waiting for a reply.
Inuyasha just kept walking. Once they got back to the hut Inuyasha set Kagome down.
“I’m going to sleep, its late.” Shippo said. He had already been in the hut playing with Kagome’s playing cards.
“Ok goodnight Shippo.” Kagome yawned. “I think I will go to sleep now too.”
So Kagome rolled out her sleeping bag and layed down.
