Concern
“So Kagome doesn't remember anything about Inuyasha?” asked old Kaede, very curious.
“No, absolutely nothing” Sango shook her head. “She even thinks that she's in love with Sesshomaru. He was close to killing her, when she jumped into his arms claiming that she missed him.”
“Keh” the hanyou snorted from the corner. He was lined down, knocking with his claws onto the floor.
The group stopped and looked at him for a moment, but then their attention got back to their conversation. Shippou and the small kitten were already asleep after dinner so the conversation continued in whisper.
Kagome was asleep too, somewhere in the opposite corner from Inuyasha. She was covered up to her neck, so all that the hanyou could see was her face.
“She sleeps so peaceful. Damn wench, she usually stayed until he fell asleep, or until he yelled at her to go without him.” He sighed. “That's what's wrong with me, I always yell at her.” He watched her in silence, the way that her bangs were almost, covering her eyes, the way that her eyelashes touched her cheeks. He could hear her low, regulate breath. He could smell her sweet perfume. How was she able to sleep so peacefully, when he was almost going crazy? “Is it because she doesn't remember me?”.
The last question made him snap. The hanyou jumped to stand then ran away outside.
“What's wrong with him?” asked Miroku with his eyes wide open.
“I have no idea” answered the demon slayer. “But then again, when did we had any idea of what is in Inuyasha's mind?”
Kaede-obachan nodded.

DAY 4
Sango, Miroku and Inuyasha, they were all watching Kagome sitting in the grass alone, sighing all the time.
“She's like this since she met your brother” spoke the priest.
“Yes, I think she really misses him. She acts like when you ran away to see Kikyou” added Sango.
The hanyou frowned hearing the last sentence. He never knew that she was so sad when he left to see the dead miko. But then again, he never bothered to ask. The guilt made him angry so he walked furious towards her.
“Snap out of it, wench.” He yelled.
“What do you mean? Snap out from what?” she asked innocently.
“You know what I mean”
“No I don't”
“Yes you do”
“No I don't”
“Yes you do”
“Osuwari”
The surprised face of the hanyou dropped down, when she said the word. He didn't know if he should be angry or happy, cause she remembered the word. He was happy, but of course she will never know that. He watched her “furious”, rising his face from the ground.
“I'm sorry…I.. have no idea how did I do that” she apologized.
“Damn it wench, why did you do that for?”
“I told you, I have no idea how was I able to do it”
“You mean you just said the word without remembering?”
“What word?”
“Osuwari” he snapped.
“O-su-wa…”
“Don't you dare say it again” he said while grabbing her hand.
The touch was like an electric shock for her. Something about it, made her think for the first time, that between them was actually more than he claimed to be. Her soul was yelling at her to remember. She didn't knew what, but her heart was aching.
He let go of her hand and walked away, leaving behind one shocked Kagome and two happy friends that she actually remembered something.

“Rin”
“Hai”
“Don't wonder too far” said Sesshomaru with a calm voice. His eyes spoke more than his mouth and they warned the little girl, it was dangerous to leave his side.
He sat under a tree, with his hair moving under the slow breeze. Janken was somewhere in the water, catching fish for him and Rin. The dog demon was watching him, he just stared at the sky. His thoughts were impenetrable, no one dared or cared enough to know what he was thinking when he watched the sky like that.
“Sesshomaru-sama”
“Nanda?” he asked, but not looking at the little girl.
“Umm…can I do something for you?”
He was first shocked, but fast he snapped out of it to watch Rin with a questioning face.
“You seem…so sad when you watch the sky like that. Do you miss something? Or someone?”
“Such a foolish thing to say. This Sesshomaru, misses no one.” He answered looking away.
“I'm sorry…I wasn't…I was just trying…”
The smell of her tears hit him. He never knew how to react when she cried. He never cared too much for a human, to wonder what was he supposed to do when they cried. Youkais never cried. But still seeing that girl, that always had a big smile upon her face, with tears in her eyes, made him feel…something.
He grabbed her hand, just before she ran off.
“Rin, don't go to far.” That was all that he said.
“Hai…Sesshomaru-sama” she stuttered before she walked away.
Janken was watching shocked from the water. “Sesshomaru-sama was never worried for someone, human or youkai. But still I could have sworn that he was worried, when he stopped Rin from running away.”
“Janken”
He shook his head and almost fell into the water when he looked towards his Master. His eyes told him to mind his own business.
“I thought you were catching fish”
“H…hai Sesshomaru-sama” the green youkai answered, as he rapidly tried to concentrate in catching the fish.

“No wait, don't go” Kagome ran after him, trying to grab his hand.
He was fading away fast and soon she couldn't see him anymore.
“Noo, wait!” she shouted.
A sudden feeling of loneliness came to her. She felt like she was missing a part of her soul.
“Who was he? Why didn't he wait for me? I need him.”
Her eyes grew wider and tears flowed down her cheeks.
“I need him”
~ End of the dream ~
“Kagome, Kagome”
Somebody was shaking her. The girl slowly opened her eyes. It was strange, but she felt them watery. She watched the hanyou with surprise.
“Are you alright?” he asked concerned.
She nodded. “What happened?”
“You were mumbling in your sleep. I ignored that until you began to cry.”
So her eyes were watery after all. “Why was she crying? And why do I feel so safe in his arms? It's like that part of my soul that I was missing is back.”
“Ne?…can you hold me `till I fall asleep, please?”
She still didn't call his name. He was a little surprised by the request, but he had no thought of leaving her side. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her, as she lined her head on his shoulder. He covered her with his haori.
“They look so cozy” hoshi whispered to Sango.
“Yes they do” she answered with a smile and they both closed their eyes, not noticing that they were already embraced.
Inuyasha smelled her hair and slowly caressed it, not to wake her up. “Oh Kagome…I wish you could remember me. You haven't spoke my name since that day, when I came to rescue you, when you were sad because I ran to Kikyou again.” He sighed and held her a little tighter. He felt like he lost a part of himself. He never had this feeling before and no idea how to react or how to get it back. He just knew that he was missing her. The old Kagome, who yelled at him, who laughed a lot, who used to ride on his back.
He remembered he was jealous all day on that stupid iron-thing that was caring her around. He also remembered that he sat on one of his knees, waiting for her to come onto his back, when she jumped on her bike and followed the others.
“At least no one was watching” he said to himself now, blushing.
Inuyasha watched her one more time, before he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

“Naraku”
The hanyou was standing in darkness, close to a widow. One of his knees was bent, on which he was resting his left arm. He watched Hakudoshi as he entered the room and called his name.
“We are so close”
He nodded.
“What are this guys planning to do? Is this it? The final battle is it here to come?” asked Kagura herself. “Damn it. I'm, not ready to die. If I could just find Naraku's heart, the damned baby.” She clutched her teeth in despise.
She hated Naraku with every corner of her soul. She was his slave, she couldn't run away because he still had her heart. The woman didn't cared that she was a part of him, they had nothing in common. She was walking on eggshells every day, since she helped Inuyasha to find the baby and lured him into that demon's stomach. Naraku knew she was the one that helped him, that's why he was able to build that trap. He was sure that she would betray him.
“What is he waiting for? Why doesn't he punish me for doing that?” she asked herself with fear and rage.
“Don't worry Kagura” Naraku thought, like reading her mind. “You'll pay for all your betrayals soon enough” he ended with a mischievous smile.
