Chapter 3~What Other Purpose~
Inuyasha noticed the expression on Kaedes hidden face.
Shippos eyes widened- “ He wants the jewel shards!”
Inuyasha thought back when he was watching Kagome bath *No Kagome didn’t have them around her neck. They must be in her bag then.*
Inuyasha then started digging around in Kagomes bag, throwing her he panties and unspeakables along with all her other belongings all around.
Sango looked shocked- “ Inuyasha what are you doing?”
Miroku with a grin- “ If Kagome knew what you were doing, your back would be out for months.”
Inuyasha pulled out the shard of the half formed jewel that was on a necklace.
Inuyasha breathed with worry as he stared at the jewel- “He wants her for another reason.”
Sango and Mirokus jaws dropped.
Sango- “But what?”
Miroku- “What ever it is, it can’t be good.”
Shippo- “ Lets get going Kagome needs us!”
Miroku looked at the little fox-“We don’t know were Narakus castle is and if that is were Kagome would be kept.”
Inuyasha turned to Kaede-“What’s going on Kaede. You know something. So you better tell us.”
Kaede finally looked up at the hanyou-“Aye, Inuyasha. Kagome is in great danger and has been for a short while. But now, even more so.”
Inuyasha screamed at the elderly lady-“Whadda mean she’s been in danger?”
Songo, Miroku and Shippo all kept quiet as there shock was starting to subside.
Kaede-“Several days have past since Kagome rushed into my hut.”
Inuyasha-“Yeah, what was that all about?”
Kaede-“Her powers are growing and she is having difficult time controlling them Inuyasha.”
Sango looked concerned for her friend-“What do you mean Kaede?”
Kaede-“When Kagome was on the other side of the well, she was studying in her room. She said she was having a had time with her ....Al..ge..bra ...and she started to get mad. She noticed her arm started to tingle unpleasantly. She placed her hands on the desk to stand and she felt a surge rush threw her. When she removed her hands from the desk there were burn marks of her hands on the desk. Inuyasha, Kagome could parish if she were to use to much of her power, or be left in a state that she could not protect herself in anyway. She is also afraid of unintentionally harming us as well.”
Inuyashas eyes widened-“Why didn’t she tell us this before?”
Miroku in deep thought-“She didn’t want us to worry about her Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha perked up, a familiar smell was approaching them.
The next thing Inuyasha knew he was face down in the dirt with someone standing on him.
“Hey, dog shit.” the voice said.
Inuyasha jumped up ready to fight, knowing exactly who it was.
Miroku- “ Koga what brings you here tonight?”
Koga looking around with his arms crossed over his chest looking quite proud of himself- “I heard that sorry dog yelling my women’s name. So I had to come see if she was okay. Where is MY Kagome anyhow?”
Inuyasha was growling very loud with his fists clenched and barring his teeth.
Inuyasha got face to face with Koga and screamed- “ She’s not your women and never will be you mangy wolf, I’ll see to that.”
Shippo was now on Mirokus shoulder looking rather board all of a sudden-“Not another dog fight. Inuyasha is like a puppy on a string. He just gets reeled in every time.”
Miroku nods in agreement -“A simpleton is as a simpleton does.”
Koga looking un-faded- “Breath the other way. You’re bleaching my hair...... Kagome is mine and always will be, face the facts mutt boy.”
Inuyasha looked like he was about to kill Koga. *Did he just say my breath stinks?*
Miroku stepped between them facing Inuyasha- “Stop your whining. Rate now we have to save Kagome.”
Inuyasha-“Stop taking cheap shots at me.”
Koga over heard what the monk said.
Koga now looking mad and pointing a finger at Inuyasha- “What do you mean save Kagome. Did that dog turd let something happen to my Kagome again?”
Inuyasha snapped back-“Shuddup wolf.”
Koga was gritting his teeth-“Go lick yourself flee bag.”
Sango walked over to Koga and told him what happened.
Inuyasha looking really pissed off now- “Don’t tell him anything Sango, we don’t need him snooping around for us, and I can save Kagome without him . He’ll only get in my way.”
Miroku looked at Inuyasha with a sympathetic look- “He might have a clue to were Narakus Castle is though Inuyasha. He has been tracking them for sometime now.”
They couldn’t hear what was being said between Sango and Koga.
Songo said- “Thank you.” and then Koga turned and ran away.
Shippo looking up at the demon slayer with is big green eyes, full of hope- “So?”
Sango looked at Inuyasha-“He knows the whereabouts of Narakus Castle but he thinks that it could be just an illusion.”
Inuyasha looked in disbelief at Sango- “So where did he take off to in such a hurry?”
Sango- “ I don’t know he didn’t really say.”
Inuyasha crosses his arms- “Keh, figures. I'm suprised those chicken legs can support such a big head.”
Shippo with a grin -“Why Inuyasha, are you going to miss him?” Shippo started laughing.
Inuyashas eye brow twitched as he knocked the little fox hard on his head <CRACK> his fist met the foxes small head.
Shippo cried as he held his head.
Kaede-“I do not believe Kagome is at Narakus castle. Ye must find her Inuyasha and find her quickly.”

They all head out to find Kagome. Sango, Miroku and Shippo rode on Kirara and Inuyasha ran on the tops of the forest treetops with Kagomes back pack slung over a shoulder.
Inuyashas began to wonder -* What does Naraku want with Kagome? Why couldn’t I have saved her...my dump thoughts got the better of me...otherwise...Kagome would be safe now.*
