Chapter 14~A Demons Curse
Kagome began to stir, she was dreaming of the night Inuyasha whispered in her ear....”I’m hear ....and I wont let go of you.” the feeling of butterflies tickling inside her stomach started again.-“umm...Inu yasha” she said in her sleep.
Inuyasha perked up.
Kaede- “Remember Inuyasha keep ye self pure. If not, Kagome will be in pain.”
Inuyasha crossed his arms over his chest-"Keh."
Kaede- “She may become aroused and feel no pain. But if ye do, her urge will become unbearable and will cause her pain.”
Sango-“Why is that?”
Miroku- “Because a demon cursed her?”
Kaede-“Aye, yet humans are drawn to the powerful curse as well.”
Inuyasha- “But Miroku lost it when he saw Kagome and I didn’t.”
Kaede-“Aye, because he is human and you are half demon Inuyasha. ”
Inuyasha- “Why didn’t I feel the effects from the curse when Miroku did then?”
Kaede-“ Ye were pure.”
Sango-“Miroku smelt her scent subconsciously and was under the spell, but Kagome didn’t feel pain because he’s human?”
Kaede-“Aye”
Sango-“But why didn’t Inuyasha?”
Inuyasha-“My mind wasn’t in the gutter like the lech. I had to get Kagome here quick.” *I fought it off. But then again Kagome did feel something around me...and she wasn’t in pain?*
Kaede-“Yet ye must remember the curse will grow stronger and non will be able to resist. Only the pure ...can be pure. But even the pure will falter.”
Sango- “Any idea of how to break the curse?”
Miroku- “You have to kill the one who placed the curse on Kagome.”
Kaede-“Aye.”
Inuyasha with a spark of hope in his eye as he was coming back from his own thoughts- “Kagome told me it was a demon woman.”
Miroku-“Kagome will have to kill her Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha-“What? Why? I could find her and kill her now and Kagoma would be at least safer than she is now.”
Kaede-“If ye did Inuyasha, Kagome would stay in this state until she conceived or died.”
Inuyasha-“What if she’s not bearing a child now and bears a child of another than?”
Miroku got a devilish grin,
Sango gave Miroku a death glare.
Kaede-“Ye aren’t as dumb as I thought ye were Inuyasha.”
Inuyasha bitterly spoke back with a snap-“What does that mean you old hag?”
Kaede-“If Kagoma were to bear a child that is not of the demon who the curse was placed for, thy curse would lift. But she could die, from thy curse not being for filled. Yet, Kagome is strong.”
Miroku patted Inuyasha on the back-“Still have a chance!”
The same though crossed Inuyashas mind...
Inuyasha could feel his blood warming-*I don’t want to cause her more pain and if I become aroused I will hurt her wont I? I don’t want to chance it* He stood up and left the hut.
Miroku yelled- “Where are you going Inuyasha?”
Inuyasha acting mad- “For a walk.” *I better cool down before I even think about going back in there at all. At lease Mirokus scrolls seem to be helping.*
