I'm not going to be updating for a while. Sorry. I want to get Bey-saga up and running. So far no reviews… I'm not giving up though. You can't keep me down.

Since it's December and Christmas is coming up. I'm going to write….

A NARUTO CHRISTMAS SPEACIAL!!!

I got so many ideas that I don't know what to do with it all! This should be interesting.

“Merry Christmas Eve!!!” Naruto shouted in almost everyone's ear.

Sasuke rolls up a ball of snow and throws it in his face. “Shut up, you loser.”

Sakura frowns at naruto. “Naruto, you don't have to yell to the whole village what day it is. Everyone knows its Christmas Eve. All missions have been cancelled.”

Naruto groaned in frustration at the news. Another snowball was thrown at the back of his head. He turned around to put the blame on sasuke. Sasuke gave him a glare and told him that it wasn't him that time. Another snowball came in contact with him and sasuke.

Now both of them were in rage. Sakura looked helpless at the two boys as they turned red with anger. When hearing laughter in the distance they turned around to discover kiba, hinata, Shikamaru, ino, and Choji.

Naruto immediately ran up to accuse kiba and Shikamaru for the snowballs.

Kiba and Shikamaru waved their left hand in a passing motion. “Nope. Wasn't us.”

“It's the season to be jolly!” Marie sang happily as she ran up to greet everybody. “So you better not pout, you better whine, you better shout, I'm telling you why…Santa Marie is coming to spread some holiday cheer!”

Sasuke wiped the snow of his coat and frowned at her. “Aren't you cheerful in this cold weather.” He said sarcastically. “You do know that you're singing the song all wrong.”

Kiba links his arm around marie's shoulder. “Oh, come on. It's Christmas Eve and everyone is excited.” Marie looked slightly annoyed at kiba. “Marie has the right idea, let's all go and sing some Christmas carols.”

Marie smiled sweetly before stomping on kiba's foot. “Here's something to sing about.” Kiba yelped in pain and when he bent over to nurse his foot, marie elbowed him in the stomach and moved over towards hinata and naruto. Sakura looked around and noticed that some of them were missing.

“Where's Shino, Rock lee, Tenten, and Neji? Shouldn't they be with the rest of us?”

Ino flips her hair. “Who would want to be with you, billboard brow?”

“Well, who asked you, ino-pig?” sakura began a glaring contest with ino. The boys watched with interest. Marie wasn't interested in them so she chatted with hinata.

“So, didja get something for naruto for Christmas?” Marie nudges her.

As usual hinata turned a dark shade of red and began fiddling with her fingers nervously stuttering. “W-well, uh, I was going to, but I couldn't decide what to get him. I mean…”

Marie smiles kindly and pats her on the back. “Leave everything to me, hinata! I'm everyone's Santa and I will grant almost everyone's wish on Christmas eve!”

Naruto popped up in between them. “Hey, hey, can you make my Christmas wish come true?” He asked eagerly after hearing her.

Marie pushes his head out of her view. “I said I'll make almost everybody's wish come true. I can't work that many miracles. Anyway, where are Shino and Neji?”

Everyone wanted to know the answer to that question too.

Hinata spoke up quietly. “I think neji might be training since there aren't any missions but I'm not sure about shino.”

Kiba looks at Akamaru who was hiding in his coat. “I haven't seen him at our usual training grounds. Where could he have gone?”

Marie puts her hand to her chin. “I'm not sure…he wasn't in his room when I woke up…” she trailed off and looked up to see everyone huddled together with their faces red in some sort of shock. Obviously they forgot that she was living with shino and his clan.

“…I meant that when I woke up he wasn't in his room when I checked! Sheesh! You guys didn't have to take it in that direction!” she exclaimed.

They all calmed down. Most of them remembered they had to do a last bit of Christmas shopping so they went their separate ways, leaving hinata with marie. They wondered around and talked about almost any random thing that came to mind. They stopped at a weapons shop and peered through the window. A while ago marie saw the same pair of chakra poles that she had on her back but in her favorite color. She had been saving up to by them, but she was never able to make the amount. Something about learning how to save your money long enough to by the thing you're saving up for.

“I-I still don't know what to get naruto…what do you think he likes?” hinata asked.

“Ramen…” Marie said on pure reflex. “Uh, I mean maybe…uh…How about…no…”

Both of them seem to be at a lost on what to by the knuckle-headed ninja.

Marie gave a frustrated growl as she scratched her head. “This is why I never try to buy stuff for boys! Sure it may be selfish of me to say, but it's true!” she continued to shake her fist in the air. “All I can think of to buy the dumb boys are probably weapons, boy clothes, and stupid man jewelry!”

Eventually she calmed down and joined hinata in the shop to browse around. Finding nothing in particular they gave up and tried to create something for him. After moments of thinking marie had an idea.

“Hinata I got it! I know what you can give naruto for Christmas! It's the greatest gift! He'll absolutely love you for it!” she was so happy that she was jumping up and down.

`This will make naruto fall in love with hinata for sure!'

“What do you have in mind.” She asked timidly.

“Oh, that's my secret!” she grinned mischievously. “I'll give you a hint: it's what naruto would want when he's older.” She finished off smiling.

Hinata was still confused on the matter. But she trusts marie not to trick her into anything. She was a friend helping a friend.

Marie gave hinata her two finger salute. “I'm going to go get naruto's gift right now. Do me a favor and try to find me the perfect gift for shino as thanks for putting up with me!” and with that she ran of to the hokage tower, leaving hinata alone to do what she was told.

(Cut scene to where marie is going.)

Marie bursts into Lady Tsunade's study room. She runs up to her and asks a favor.

“Do you have an extra…” she trailed off.

Tsunade looked at her like she was insane at first and then she smiled and nodded.

(Naruto and the gang finally found everyone. Marie sets up a mini caroling concert for the whole village to enjoy.)

Shizune speaks over the large crowd. “This next song for Christmas eve is `Must be Santa.' Singing for us is the nine rookies.”

On the final not the villages cheer the nine rookies as they exit the stage. On the way off the stage marie congratulates everyone for participating. After seeing the rest of the ninja's sing their Christmas song everyone scattered throughout the village to watch the fireworks in the sky. Occasionally naruto would shout and raise his arms. Sasuke would hit him on the head. Ino and sakura would gaze at him. Hinata is blushing at naruto. Kiba and akamaru are yelling and shouting to the sky too. Shino is distant from everyone else.

Neji is standing near tenten and rock lee is looking at sakura with hearts in his eyes.

Shikamaru is lying on his back gazing at the fireworks like always and Choji is eating festival Christmas food. Marie silently walks over and stands next to shino.

“Great Christmas eve isn't it? The best one I ever had.” She said with a great smile.

“Hm…” Shino stood there silently as he gazes at the fireworks burst in the sky in radiating beauty. “I'm worried these fireworks will scare the insects in the forest.”

Marie spared a glance at him and then turned to the sky. “I bet they're enjoying it.”

He silently agrees with her and nudges closer to her.

 

When the fireworks were over everyone met somewhere in the middle of the village.

“Well, guess we better head home. Festival is almost over and I don't want to be stuck here cleaning up the confetti.” Kiba said as akamaru jumped into his jacket.

Hinata bows at everyone. “Thank you for a great time.” Neji nods next to hinata and they went on their way with kiba tagging along for a bit. Soon everyone began to part. All who were left was naruto, sasuke, sakura, marie and shino.

“I'll see you guys again bright and early tomorrow, right?” Marie asked next to shino.

Naruto gave her a thumbs up. “For sure, believe it! We're meeting you at shino's house so we can show you your—!” Sakura puts naruto's head in a lock with both arms.

“Idiot! Keep your mouth shut for once! You're going to low it!” She scolded.

Marie gave them a questioning look, and then turned to shino to see if he had a clue. He sort of turned in the opposite direction. Sasuke shoved his hands into his pockets.

“Come on, you two. Its cold out and I want to go home. Later.” And he walked off with sakura dragging naruto from behind.

Shino began to walk away too. When he noticed marie not following right away he stopped. “Are you coming?” He asked.

She snapped out of her thoughts and nodded. “Yeah. I got no place to go.” She soon followed in step with him al the way to the Aburame complex.

Confetti and wrapping paper began filling the room as everyone torn open their presents. Sasuke had two boxes filled with mistletoes and occasionally got new sets of clothes and weapons. Rock lee got a new pair of spandex but stubbornly said that he will keep his old one. Sakura received hair-dye. Neji received clothes. Tenten received hair products and make-up along with clothes. Ino received jewelry and clothes with flowers. Shikamaru received books and a new shogi board. Choji got a cooking set and snack food. Kiba and akamaru received dog toys and other things that pet owners would love. Hinata received some make-up, clothes, and a life size poster of naruto saying `believe it.' Shino received some things for collecting insects and some encyclopedia on insects. Marie looked through the pile of gifts and found that none of them had her name on them. She frowned for a moment, but shook it off. She was among friends and that was all that mattered. She stood up and faked a smile. “Okay! Hinata I guess I can give you the gift you wanted to give naruto, now.” Everyone looked at marie and hinata in question.

She ran out of the room for a moment and came back with naruto's gift.

“You wouldn't believe the trouble hinata went through to get this for you,” Marie said as she presented the gift to naruto. “You should give her a kiss or something.”

Hinata almost fainted at that point. Everyone was wondering what she could've possibly gotten naruto. Hinata admitted that she had no idea but she looked convincing enough.

Naruto inspected the gift before unwrapping it. He held it up for everyone to see.

“IT'S THE HOKAGE HAT!!!!” Naruto exclaimed as he tried it on. He ran up to hinata and hugged her tightly and then he kissed her cheek over and over. Let's say that right now hinata wasn't conscious anymore. He lets go of her and began showing off his gift.

The girls went over to hinata and tried to wake her up. Poor hinata.

Sasuke looked under the huge tree and saw that all of the gifts were gone.

“That wraps up this party. We better go get your gift, marie.” He said while standing up.

Neji nods and pulls out a blindfold from his pocket.

“My gift? Why isn't it under the tree with the rest? And why does neji have a blind-fold?” Marie asked slightly nervous.

Sakura and ino held both of her arms down so she wouldn't resist them.

“Your gift wouldn't fit under the tree. In fact, it wouldn't fit in the house!”

“That big, huh?” She asked as neji ties on the blindfold. Once secure everyone guided the blinded girl out of the Aburame complex. Once in a while she would ask for hints and they were giving out bad ones that kept her guessing.

They came to a complete stop. The told her to take the blindfold off. When she did her eyes bulged out of her head and then they began to water.

“You guys…got me an apartment?” She asked sniffling. Everyone gave a smile to her.

“You deserve it for everything you have done for us,” Hinata said. “Being a good friend.”

“A great kunoichi.” Naruto continued.

“A great source of entertainment…” Kiba, neji, and sasuke said at the same time.

“this might sound totally corny and cheesy, but it's for always being there for us and everything. So we all got you an apartment. Besides shino wanted you out of the house.”

Despite that last comment marie flashed them a watery smile.

“You all are the greatest! I can't begin to tell how much this means to me.” She began crying even more. They girls took sympathy and gave her a big hug. Seeing that they boys were not joining in they dragged them into the hug.

Naruto urged her to look inside when he handed her the key.

The rooms where almost an exact replica of her rooms at the Takemina complex and to top it all off her dog, Lil' brother was on the couch sleeping.

“This really is the greatest Christmas I ever had. Thanks guys.”

 

Outside they could hear the bells of Christmas through out the village.

The camera zooms out to show the whole village. “Happy Christmas to all and to all a good Fight! Happy New Year!”

 

Now for the band of assassins they spent their Christmas together by doing what bad ninjas do. They only gifts they exchanged were destroying chosen villages. Shoji and Shoga spied on marie for Christmas. Youko was annoying Renji and who cares about the rest of them. Naruto and the gang are more important!
