Chapter 3:When the rain hides the tears

 

“Hey Kaoru?” asked Hikaru as they were going to their father's house, “Do you every wonder what mom was like?”

 

Kaoru nodded and exclaimed, “I think she was really nice and pretty!” Hikaru smiled, that was her sister, cheerful and sensitive but also fairly shy.

 

“I think she was strong and smart,” replied Hikaru. Kaoru grinned, that was her nee-chan, strong and realistic, she was always there for her. Suddenly the sky grew dark, as little drops of rain came down.

 

“Oh great! Let's hurry,” remarked Hikaru as she grabbed Kaoru's hand. As they were going through a shortcut in the forest, suddenly about eight Uchiha surrounded them.

 

“Huh, what's going on?” murmured Hikaru. “HIKARU, WATCH OUT!” yelled Kaoru as she shoved her out of the way as an Uchiha rushed up with a kunai. The blow missed Hikaru, but slashed Kaoru's left eye on one clean slash.

 

“KAORU!” yelled Hikaru as she took out a kunai and shoved the Uchiha out of the way. Kaoru was holding her bleeding eye when suddenly a voice yelled, “HIKARU, KAORU!” both turned to see Sasuke, Itachi, Kakashi and Hasume.

 

“Kaoru, you're hurt!” yelled Kakashi as he tried to reach Kaoru but was held back by two Uchiha. “What is the meaning of this?” growled Itachi, as Sasuke stood horrified.

 

“To get rid of this demon which stains the name of Konoha!” said a hooded figure who then flung the hood back to reveal the madly grinning face of Uchiha Fugoku. “fffather?” mumbled Sasuke in disbelief as Itachi gave him a look of pure hatred.

 

Fugoku then turned to Kaoru and took out a katana and yelled, “DIE SHINIGAMI” Crimson blood spurted out, but it wasn't Kaoru's blood.

 

Kaoru stared in shock as she saw Hasume over her, her body stained with blood. “Kaoru, I'm so glad that you're alright!” murmured Hasume and then she collapsed.

 

“Mom…MOM!” yelled Kaoru as she ran over while Hikaru glared at Fugoku with hate filled eyes and yelled, “YOU, YOU KILLED KAORU'S MOM!” “It doesn't matter, the bitch's sacrifice was for nothing anyway.” laughed Fugoku as he yet again held up the katana that was now stained with red.

 

“NO!!!!” cried Hikaru and her eyes turned a bloody red with three black comma things around the pupil.

 

“Sharingan!” muttered Fugoku nervously.

 

“HASUME!” yelled Hiashi as he ran over to his wife fallen body and Kaoru.

 

“Hiashi, take care of Hanabi, Hinata, and Kaoru. Remember, I love you and I'll be watching over you,” said Hasume smiling as she lay bleeding. When she finally closed her eyes and stopped breathing, Kaoru stood up and activated her Byakugan and in her rage, killed two Uchiha with the gentle fist.

 

Itachi then noticed that both girls' auras were slowly turning an inky black and their forms were slowly changing. Hikaru got long claws and had big black bat wings on he back while her Sharingan continued to burn crimson red.

 

Kaoru got a weird tattoo of elegant swirls over her injured eye and she grew claws and giant black angel wings, her golden white Byakugan pulsating in rage.

“Shinigami style: black dragon fist” murmured Hikaru in a silky deadly voice that wasn't her own. A dragon of black fire curled around her fist and she punched an Uchiha, killing him instantly.

 

“Shadow coffin!” yelled Kaoru in a mature and deadly voice and she summoned shadows that swallowed and crushed two Uchihas to bits.

Finally, only Fugoku was left. Both girls dashed at him, but were stopped by Itachi and Kakashi.

“Let me go, let me kill him!” screamed Kaoru in that scary voice as she struggled against Kakashi's grip.

 

Hikaru was doing the same when Itachi slapped her and yelled, “WAKE UP!” Suddenly both girls stopped struggling and the wings and claws retracted.

 

Hikaru looked at Itachi in fear as Kaoru looked at the corpses around her in horror. “Did…Did I do this?” asked Kaoru in a small voice glancing at Hiashi. When he nodded, she burst into tears as the rain continued to fall all around her, mixing with the blood on the ground.

 

Hiashi ran to comfort her as Hikaru stared at Itachi and she asked, “Do you hate me like your father?” When Itachi shook his head, Hikaru glanced at Sasuke. His face held the look of pure fear and when Hikaru tried to touch him, he drew away.

 

Hikaru's eyes filled with tears as she murmured, “You hate me, you all despise me like everyone else.”

 

Kaoru glanced at Hiashi and saw fear in his eyes and felt his limbs stiffen when she touched him and his hesitation to talk to her.

 

“You hate me, I'm sorry I was made this way, I'm sorry” murmured Kaoru in a soft voice. Both girl drew away and grasped each other's hands. Suddenly, the wings from before appeared again and with a last tearful glance, both girls disappeared in the shadows.

 

Kakashi felt tears fill his eyes and he punched a tree in his rage. This was his fault; he had chosen them to be vessels for the twin Shinigami. He had now lost his two daughters forever, he was all alone.

 

Sasuke started to sob in Itachi's arms as he glared at his father, who was still in shock.

 

Hiashi did not cry, but he felt his heart ache when he realized he would no longer hear Kaoru or Hikaru's laugh or see them smile.

 

“I'm sorry Hikaru, Kaoru, I'm sorry,” whispered Kakashi as the rain fell around him, hiding his tears which he had held for five years. He cried for Obito, Rin, Hikaru, Kaoru, and for is own life

 

It had been a year since Hikaru and Kaoru had disappeared and Itachi had neither forgotten nor forgiven his father or any other Uchiha.

 

When it grew dark and Sasuke was at school, Itachi went to his father's room and grabbed the katana that had inured Kaoru and killed Hasume a long time ago.

 

His father and his mother were in the living room, it was so easy.

 

In his rage, he forgot his mother was innocent, he forgot about Sasuke and how he would cope, He forgot his humanity and swung the katana over their unsuspecting heads and brought it down.

I'm sorry it's kinda sad. Itachi killed his mom and threatened his brother because he grew slightly mad at the lost when Hikaru disappeared. He really likes her. Anyway, R&R please!
