CHAPTER 4 - HAVING FEELINGS FOR HIM?

You looked around and saw a very big field of flowers of different colors.

"sugoi!" you said while admiring the pretty flowers. Naruto just smiled at you with a slight blush. Then something caught your eye by the tree. It was sasuke! You blushed slightly.

"hey naruto! Look there's sasuke!" you yelled at Naruto. Sasuke heard your voice and took a glance at you.

"so?" naruto asked you

"so? Let's go and say hi to him!" you told naruto and pulled him towards the tree where sasuke was resting.

"hi sasuke!" you said and sat in front of him while naruto remained standing not looking at sasuke.

"what do you want?" sasuke asked, annoyed

"nothing particular… so what are you doing here?" you asked him

"why do you care?"

"hmm? Are you this mean everyday?" you asked him

"mind your own business!" he smirked at you.

Your face is now 3 inches away from sasuke's "you know, you have a very nice face! But you're not cute" you said.

Sasuke looked at you 'she's the first person that told me that I'm not cute' he thought "shut up!" he said

"I'm just saying that you should smile more often!" you said cheerfully. He looked at you as if you were from another planet. "why are you always smiling at me like that?" he asked you.

"I always smile at people! So the will think that I'm nice!" you told him

"Are you always this annoying?" he asked you

'wow that hurt' you thought so you stood up "well I better get going… ne naruto?" you looked at your back but did not see naruto. "hm? Naruto? Naruto? Where are you" you yelled "Sasuke help me find naruto please" you said

"no!" he yelled

"please"

"no!"

"please Sasuke!"

he stood up "for the last time no! I won't waste my time looking for that dobe!"

"Sasuke please!"

Sasuke soon gave in "fine!"

"yatta!"

"but this doesn't mean that were friends"

"Yah yah" you said and looked for naruto.

Sasuke looked behind the bushes while you on the other hand checked the river. You saw naruto sitting by the river staring at the water. You tiptoed silently and put your hands on his shoulder "NARUTO!" you yelled. "AAAAAHHHHH" he yelled back in shock and fell in to the river

"what did you do that for?" he asked you

"hehe just having a bit of fun naruto!" you said with your hands at the back of you head

"mou! Because of you I'm all wet!"

"what are you doing here by the way?"

He looked at you with a very serious face. "someone was calling me." He told you

"eh? You heard it too? What did he say?"

"something like 'come here if you seek for power'" naruto answered.

"that's what I heard too." You said with a serious face

Sasuke reached the river where you two were talking. You faced him. "sasuke why are you here?" you asked him

"I told you before mind your own business!" he snapped at you

"sasuke I'm serious! I need an answer now!"

"MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" he yelled at you

"sasuke just tell us!" naruto said

"NO!"

'come here if you seek for power' the same voice said

"That's the voice" sasuke murmured

"so you heard it to!" you said in a fighting position. Then you sensed a kounai flying towards sasuke. You threw a kounai and hit the one that was about to hit sasuke. "Sasuke, naruto keep your eyes peeled" you whispered for them to hear

'hn… kasumi nomiyama, uzumaki naruto and uchiha sasuke' said the voice

"who the hell are you?!" naruto shouted

you glanced at sasuke who was on fighting position <using sharingan > then glanced at naruto who was in fighting stance too. Then you felt a fist in your stomach. You fell on your knees and looked up. You saw purple-faced man with long hair. "w-who a-are you?" you whimpered

"orochimaru." Sasuke said and threw kounais at him but dogged it easily

"what do you want?" naruto shouted

"I just want to see the daughter of the famous Luc Nomiyama" he glanced at you but you weren't there. You were at orochimaru's back holding a kounai directly on his neck. He somehow teleported at the back of naruto and did the same thing to him. "NARUTO!" you yelled.

"Nomiyama you act like your father" orochimaru said pressing the kounai at naruto's neck

'damn it! I feel so-' you were cut by orochimaru

"Helpless?"

You felt anger rising in you and threw at least 5 kounais then you did some hand positions then suddenly ice spears came falling from the sky trying to hit orochimaru. You did hand positions again and a barrier suddenly appeared and surrounded naruto. <The ice spears and the barrier is just something I made up>

"Just like what her father would do if his companion was in this kind of situation." He murmured to himself and left.

You felt awfully tired and suddenly fell face first on the ground.

"Amazing power" sasuke said and ran towards you. The barrier that was surrounding naruto slowly disappeared and he ran towards you that is lying down on the ground. Sasuke made you lay down on his lap while naruto was running towards you. "let's take her to kakashi" naruto said and carrying you on his arms.

The three off you reached kakashi's house. Naruto kicked the door open and saw kakashi sitting on his couch reading come come paradise. Kakash looked at naruto then sasuke then you. "What happened Naruto?!" kakashi questioned naruto but did not answer.

Naruto's POV:

She's amazing. I'm never gonna be like her. She risked her safety for me. She'd risk her life for a friend. I am not like her. What if I was in her position? Will I risk my life to save a person that you only knew for a few weeks?

END OF NARUTO'S POV

"Orochimaru. called us. And we went there. Because of our carelessness she ended up saving us. She used some kind of jutsu. But it's not fire, not water, not lightning, not wind nor earth but ice." Sasuke explained

"ice?" kakashi said staring at you

"yes ice. I- I know that only Luc has that power? So he did transfer his power to her." Sasuke said

"sasuke let's just discuss this tomorrow. For now let her sleep" kakashi sighed

The next day you woke up at kakashi's bed. You sat up then rubbed your head. You glanced at your right side and saw naruto sleeping on a chair and resting his upper body on the bed. You looked around the room and saw sasuke sleeping on a chair in front of your bed. The door was open. Kakashi was about to enter the room and saw you. "so you're awake. How are you feeling?" he asked you. "not so good. My head kindda hurt" you said and rubbed it

"so do you remember what happened yesterday?"

You nodded "there was a man named orochimaru. He threw a kounai to sasuke. I helped him! And he also held a kounai on naruto's neck" you looked at kakashi "and I helped again! But I didn't know that, that I could help naruto. I felt so helpless. But then I heard my father's voice! He said I could protect my friends. I did some hand positions the next thing I know naruto had a barrier around him and falling ice spears were raining on orochmaru." You finished. Kakashi put his hand on your head.

"You did a very good job kasumi!" he said and you smiled "master hokage heard about the story he was amazed" you smiled a little more wider. Then you saw naruto waking up.

"ohayo naruto! Sorry if you didn't sleep well. I shouldn't have forced you to come" you told him. He looked at you and smiled "that's ok! After all you saved my butt out there"

"ok both of you are you hungry? Kakashi asked you

"yap!" the both of you replied

"c'mon let's buy ramen" kakashi said and went out the room with naruto on his tail. You got up from bed and looked at sasuke. He was sleeping uncomfortably you can tell by looking at his face. You smiled and quickly followed by a slight blush. You walked towards him and carried him to the bed for him to sleep. You looked at him <more like staring> and blushed. "kasumi…" he murmured. You let out a slight chuckle "talking while asleep eh?" you whispered and left the room.

YOUR POV

'Am I starting to have feelings towards sasuke? Maybe… every time I see him I feel butterflies in my stomach…' I looked at naruto who was having a great time eating. He looked at me and smiled "kasumi thanks I really appreciate what you did for me out there" he told me. I smiled and helped myself with a bowl of ramen

SASUKE'S POV

I woke up on kakashi's bed and wondered who put me there. 'Kakashi maybe? Naruto? Or kasumi? Kasumi?' why is it whenever I think of her I always feel my insides turn? Do I like her? No sasuke stop thinking that!

END OF SASUKE'S POV

it was a Saturday. Kakashi went home and saw that sasuke had left. You were at the market place with naruto doing an errand for master hokage. You looked at the piece of paper that he gave you. "looks like were done naruto" you told him. "Yah good thing" Naruto replied

"Naruto let's race again!" you told him

"WHAT ANOTHER RACE?!" he complained

"Yah! Our first race wasn't complete!"

"fine, fine" he said as he stopped

"Ready. Set. Go!" you said and ran with the bag of veggies on your back. You were leading. You looked back and took a glace on naruto. You put out your tongue "you'll never catch me naruto!" then you suddenly hit something… or someone. You fell on top of him. You looked at him and he looked at you. It was sasuke!. Both of you released a slight blush. "Gomen-ne Sasuke" you told him. Naruto caught up to you. He looked away "it's alright now get off me!" Sasuke said. "Sasuke you ok? Did you say that it's alright? Usually you'll say 'get off dobe' or something meaner." Naruto said. You stood up "Well I havta go! I need to bring these to Master Hokage" you said and left the two

Naruto looked at sasuke who was blushing. Naruto laughed. "why are you laughing dobe?" sasuke said irritably. "sasuke's in lub!" Naruto teased.

"shut up!"

"sasuke's in lu-b, sasuke's in lu-b, sasuke's in lu-b"

"shut up you dobe!" Sasuke snapped while pointing a kounai on Naruto's neck. Naruto smiled at him "Don worry Sasuke! This will be our little secret" naruto said and ran away

'he blushed. I saw it! He blushed! Agh! Kasumi! You have no time for love! You have to be serious and train harder!' you told yourself. You entered the house of master hokage. "Master Hokage! I bought you the veggies you wanted" you yelled

"Thank you Kasumi." Master Hokage said

"Master Hokage can I sit on your roof again?" <well you always sit on hokage's roof whenever you're done doing the errand he set for you every Saturday>

"Yah sure kasumi"

You left and jumped to the roof. You laid down and stared at the clouds. 'I always like the sky. It reminds me of my friends, my mom… my dad' you thought. You closed your eyes and the things that happened in the past felt like it was just yesterday…

FLASH BACK

you came home from school. The front door was open. You entered and saw blood. Blood all over the floor. You looked up and saw your dad. Laying down in the middle of the pool with your mother by his side crying over him. You ran towards them. And saw your mom crying her life out.

"Mom what happened?!" you asked

"… kasumi… your father… whom I always loved… died… murdered by a tall man… with long hair…." Your mother whimpered

END OF FLASHBACK

Then something hit you. A man? With long hair? That could only be orochimaru! You stood up and ran towards the place where you fought with orochimaru.

WARNING: OOCNES OF SASUKE!

You looked around and saw nobody. "OROCHIMARU! YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU AND STOP THET BASTARD ORGANISATION!" you yelled and sat down miserably with tears running down your face. You felt anger rising in you it was the same feeling when you saw orochimaru pushing a kounai at naruto's neck. You punched the ground. You punched it until your fist was red. Then you felt someone touched your shoulder. You looked back and saw Sasuke with gentler eyes than the usual. "Sasuke… why? Why did my father do this? Trying to kill hokage… why?" you said slowly with tears running down your cheeks. Sasuke knelt in front of you. 'pain. We feel the same pain' Sasuke thought.

"Sasuke? I…know… about your… family…tell me… how do you feel about it?" you managed to ask him between your sobs.

"angry… hurt…" he replied and hugged you tightly. Your eyes widened and by instinct you hugged him back. You didn't know why he hugged you. And he didn't know why he did that. But the both of you didn't care. You just hugged him. And he just hugged you. "Sasuke… I feel alone" you whimpered.

"don't be. I'm here" he whispered in your ear he hugged you tighter

"Sasuke… I want you to be always here… by my side."

He nodded "Kasumi… i… I like you… please smile… I miss your smile" he whispered.

Little did the both of you know… sakura was watching the both of you 'sasuke and kasumi? Why? Sasuke… why kasumi? Why not me?' sakura said staring at the both of you.

You let go of Sasuke. He did the same thing. "I like you too Sasuke…" you said blushing but not followed by your usual smile. He looked at you and smiled. He touched your chin and raised it you looked at him straight in the eye. "you're not cute when you don't smile" he said. You finally gave in. you smiled. He stood up then you followed him. "Thank you Sasuke… thank you for this being there for me." You told him
