"Here." Midori tossed another towel at Alana. "Wipe your blood off. I don't want you bleeding on my stuff." She then proceeded to toss her a pair of jeans and a shirt before plopping down on her bed.
Alana took her closes off and did was she said. She threw the towel down then put on the clothes. "Feels good to wear jeans again," she said as her tail came out the hole.
"You know you could just borrow jeans from me. I've got a lot of them that I don't wear anymore," she told her. Flipping through her book, she bit her lip as she sat up and looked at Alana. "So.... other than saving the world, what's going on?"
"I got poisoned and tried to kill Yori then shot myself in the stomach so I wouldn't kill him," she said shrugging. She knew that wasn't what she was looking for.
Midori frowned, her ears flattening against her head. "I'm glad you didn't kill my brother," she said, trying to keep the mood light. "But I do wish that I knew what was going on between the two of you."
"We broke up. Too many differences," she said and looked away.
"Oh.... Well. I'm sorry," she said softly.
"Yori!" Raize yelled. There was a loud crashing sound followed by Raize yelling again.
Midori jumped up and ran out to see what was going on. Yori was pushing his way past his dad as he fixed Alana's coat. "I'll be back," he muttered, growling as his dad touched his wounded shoulder.
Alana walked out and looked at him. "Where are you going?"
"None of your business." He took five steps and turned around to glare at her. "What happened to 'one more chance, Yori'? Huh? Did that just stop once I helped you save your race?"
"I said I would give you a chance for me trust you again. I didn't say that we would go back to the way things were. You don't get to use me then fuck me like nothing happened, Yori! If I have to live with the fact that you let them to that to me then you have to live with it too!" she yelled. "I'm not just going to kiss you and let you touch me with a smile on my face pretending it's all ok. You have to earn that back just like when you first got it!"
Yori growled and shook his head. "So what, now we just act like we hate each other? We live in the same house. Share the same bed. Hell, we're about to go into space together, Alana. I know I have to earn your trust back, but could you at least give me some sort of warning before you say stuff like that to my family? I thought when I got another chance we were still together."
He bit his lip and threw his hands in the air in frustration. "I felt like I got my fucking heart ripped out when I heard that." Turning his back to her, he thrust his hands into his pockets and started off. He needed to cool down. He didn't need to think about this. Not now. Not after he'd just staged a coup and killed his ex-lover.
She went after him of course. "Hey! I never said I would act like I hated you! I helped you get back to your father didn't I? I laughed at your silly jokes didn't I?" She threw snow at him. "I'm talking to you, damn it! The only think I said is that 'we' are not a 'we' anymore! You don't think my heart was broken?" She wanted to scream. "You let some random Eldarian feel me up! How am I suppose to let you touch me knowing that!? You have to earn that back, Yori!"
His ears fell as he got hit in the back of the head with snow. He bundled up some snow and turned around and chucked it at her, nailing her in the chest. Almost as soon as he let it go his eyes widened as he winced. He'd forgotten about her chest. "You okay?"
Alana hit the ground holding herself and grasping for air. "Cheap shot, Yori. Real classy."
"Hey my whole body is one big cheap shot right now," he muttered. Walking over to her he fell to the ground beside her and moved her hand. "You'll be fine you big baby. A little snow won't kill you." Picking up another handful he dumped it on her head. "Your healing factor is getting stronger."
She pushed him back and watched him land on his back in the snow. He groaned in pain. "You deserve it," she said brushing the snow off her.
He arched his back. His flesh was practically raw. "You suck," he muttered. Pushing himself off the ground, he whimpered as he stood. "Well what do we do now, Alana? Where do we go from here?"
Shaking the snow off of his back, he watched as fresh drops of blood tainted the snow. "It's going to be hard, being so close yet knowing that I have to keep from touching you."
"We can touch, Yori," she said brushing the snow from him and checking his wounds. "We...just can't be intimate until...well...I don't really know. Depending on how much control I have over my heat and how our trust goes from here. I really need to know that what happened will not happen again." She looked at the sky, it was late. Very late. "We should get home and rest up. We have a big trip coming up."
"It won't happen again." He was very adamant about that. Even if he had to dull his senses he wasn't going to let that happen. "You...um, you said that you've been to space before?" He took a deep breath and nodded as they started toward home. Touching, but nothing intimate. Surely he had enough self control to do that. Right? "What is it like?"
"Black," she said. "I didn't go far. Just took one of those tours around Earth. I got bored one weekend."
Yori nodded slowly. "Well, hopefully our trip will be more entertaining," he told her, trying to keep their conversation going so it wouldn't lull into awkward silence. "It's what...twelve light years to the Illumian quadrant? That's a decent trip. I hope they serve snacks."
She laughed. "I'm sure they will." She sighed. "Crap. I forgot to ask you dad to give me that hormone shot so I have some control. I'll have to ask him tomorrow. I don't think the Illumians won't take kindly to me humping random things while we visit."
Yori smirked, his hand sliding into hers. "Well, you can always hump me, and I can pretend not to like it."
She pulled her hand from his slowly. It killed her, but she needed a break and holding his hand was sort of saying things were ok and they weren't. Not to her. She wasn't ok at all. "We'll have to see," she said lightly. If it came down to it and she couldn't control herself, she would have to look to Yori to make the heat leave. It was cruel, to both of them, like teasing, but even if she wanted to have someone else do it, she knew she couldn't. Yori would kill them and she wouldn't forgive herself. She maybe not be his "girlfriend" but she still was tied to him.
"Right...." Yori was silent all the way home. As soon as they got there he walked to their room, grabbed some clothes and bee lined for the shower. Stripping, he winced every time he pulled a garment off. The blood had made the clothes stick to his skin. More than once he growled before the warm water hit his skin. It was agonizing, but it was good for the body.
Alana went to the room and started packing. She packed for both herself and Yori. Her head turned to the bathroom and she bit her lip. She hoped he was ok and knowing that he was naked... She shivered with desire as the heat washed over her. Of all the times for her to want him, now wasn't the time, not after she made a big deal about not being together. Pushing the feelings down, she undressed and put Midori's clothes aside to take them back to her. She would have to wait her turn to get into the shower. Looking in the mirror she was shocked to see that her wound was nearly completely healed. The shot Midori gave her was helping a lot.
After he got all the blood off of him, he rubbed his skin. It was still slightly raw and tender, but at least his wounds were healed. Grabbing his boxers, he gingerly pulled them on and carried his bloodied clothes out of the bathroom. Walking into the bedroom, he nodded at the luggage and to Alana. "The shower is all yours," he told her. Sniffing the air he looked at her. Biting his lip he moved away. He could control himself.
Alana kept her eyes from him as she walked to the bathroom and closed the door. Even as she stood in the warm water, she couldn't help but shiver. Her back pushed to the wall and she ran her hands down her thighs, aiming for some relief.
Yori sank his claws into the wall. Hissing as he smelled her. This was going to be hard. A lot harder than he previously thought it would be. Getting dressed in something comfortable, he sought to ease his mind. Alana was sick of fish. He'd prepare something else for her. Grabbing chicken, some pasta noodles, and some sauce he went to work. He had to keep focused or he'd end up losing her forever.
Alana cried out. It wasn't enough. Just touching wasn't enough. Her claws dug into the bathroom wall and she whimpered. She couldn't ask Yori to help her because it was cruel. Her eyes scanned the bathroom for something, anything to fill the void, but there was nothing. Nothing that compared.
Yori whimpered as she cried out. Looking toward the bathroom, he put the noodles on simmer and walked toward the door. His hand ran across it before he knocked. "Is there...anything you need?"
The sound of his voice was like a trigger. She couldn't take it anymore. She burst threw the door, breaking it in the process and pushing Yori to a wall, making a large dent. She tore at his boxers and moved her hips over his to have his cock rub against her. Yori hissed as the wall gave in beneath him. She was all over him, and while he wanted to enjoy this he knew.... This wasn't her. It was the heat. His cock rubbed against her, he could feel her shivering. She wanted it. She needed it. She needed him...even if she didn't want him. Grabbing her hips he worked her so that he could push himself into her. This was a mistake, but he would allow it. She growled as he entered her and then whimpered when he went in all the way. Her arms wrapped around his neck as her legs wrapped around his body. Her lips washed over his neck, biting and licking like always.
Twisting, he pushed her against the wall. Pulling back he slammed into hard and fast. He wanted this as much as possible. He wanted to screw her just like he always did. His fangs bit deep into her shoulder, his hands working her clit and ass while he pounded into her. Alana purred longingly at his touch. He was always better with his hands than she was. His fingers just knew how to work her clit perfectly. She moved with him, bouncing and purring as the building started. Yori growled, his fangs gracing her breasts while his tongue lapped over them. He pushed himself as far as he could go, pulling at her to dig himself deeper while his fingers pushed and teased at her clit. Her purring was getting louder. She was getting close. She ran her claws up his body then dug them in his shoulders as her back arched. She cried out as she came then dug her fangs in his shoulder as she rode it out. Yori took deep breaths as her walls hugged him. She was through, but he was nowhere near. Maybe that was for the best. Once she was through she would realize what she was doing and this would all be over. The heat left her and she took deep breaths against him. Hugging him closely, she couldn't just take from him like this. If she was going to get release, so would he.
"It's ok, Yori. Finish," she whispered while burring her face in his neck.
"No," he whispered. Closing his eyes, he let go of her and pulled out of her. A sacrifice must be made. If this got him a little closer to being able to screw her whenever he wanted, then he would take one for the team.
She met his eyes. "It's not fair for me to take from you. Please, I don't mind," she said.
"No," he said with slightly less conviction than before. "I'll just go rub one off in the shower. When you really want it, then we'll do it. Not until then." He didn't want to screw her and then have it held against him.
She couldn't say anymore. She was being unfair by using him, but she couldn't force him to finish for himself. This would go on for two to three weeks until her heat was over. She prayed it would somehow be shorter since she had human DNA.
After another shower he walked out in a towel and grabbed another pair of boxers. He pretended as if what had happened was nothing. Which in all reality, that was exactly what it was. Nothing. "Hope you're hungry," he told her. "I tried to make some chicken pasta. Give us some variety around here."
Alana had changed into some pajamas while he was in the shower. "Yes...I am," she said.
"Good." He pushed a plate toward her while fixing his own plate. Might as well not let the silence continue. "So, do you know anything about the Illumians?"
She picked at the food and shrugged. Apparently she was the only one affected by what happened between them. "They are a kind race, I know that much. And very advanced." She started eating.
"They're a technological based race. They're extremely advanced, and supposedly immortal," he told her while he ate. "When I was in dad's lab I looked at some of his files on them. They're pretty interesting from what I've read. Since they're nothing more than electronical beings, they have no real form other than energy. As such they keep themselves in cased in special suites to keep their energy from dispersing."
She nodded and cleaned her plate. "Thank you for the food. You are still welcome to share the bed with me, so don't try sleeping on the couch," she said and walked to the bedroom.
Yori sighed. Washing the dishes he tossed them back into the sink before joining Alana in the bedroom. Sliding into the bed, he looked at her. He didn't say a word as he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her to him. "We leave in the morning. Might as well get some sleep." She at least owed him this.
She said nothing in reply but closed her eyes and let sleep take her over. When the sun came up, they dressed and grabbed their bags. They stopped at his father's house for Alana to get the shot. As soon as the shot was pushed into her, she could feel a change. She took a deep breath and said goodbye to everyone then watched Yori do the same. They took a cab to the Space station and got two tickets for Illumians' home planet. Yori's father sent them notice of their arrival so they were being met at the Illumians' space station. The trip would be long, but comfortable enough.
