KD: Why won't anyone but my friends tell me what they think?! WHY!?!?!?!?!?!? *Goes off to corner and sulks*

Kurama: I think it'll be a while before she's back…Oh, and she forgot the disclaimer for her other chapters, so this one will count for them and the rest! KD does not own InuYasha or Yu Yu Hakusho. On with the story!

KD: No! My story, I write! *Starts writing*

Chapter 5: The New Boy

It was Monday. Kenny had an extra-thick layer of makeup on today. Bill had beaten her hard for going to the A.M.W. She was pretty sure that her leg bone was cracked, maybe even broken.

She sighed. She would have to think a very good explanation for this one. She'd already wrapped it tight, and still had to limp…It would take a miracle for no one to notice.

She talked to her friends with the S.D.s standing nearby talking to each other. Then she went to the office after she put her stuff in her locker. Kurama followed her, and Hiei went so he could get his schedule changed.

Kenny smiled at the new boy in the office. He had black hair and ice blue eyes that reminded her of a huskie's eyes. Kurama watched him closely, sensing a demon aura from him, and Hiei ignored him.

The boy smiled back at her and moved closer. "Hi, I'm Korey," he said.

"I'm Kara, it's nice to meet you," she answered.

"Nice to meet you too." As they talked, he moved closer, until he put his arm around her waist. She gently pushed him away, and they kept talking. He again moved toward her.

She pushed him away again, saying, "Excuse me, but please don't…"

"Don't what?" he asked, moving toward her again.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think she's interested," Kurama said, taking Kenny's hand. She smiled gratefully at him and they walked off to first hour, Kurama still holding Kenny's hand. Hiei had gotten his fist hour switched to gym, and had seen Kurama defend Kenny. `Hm…The fox likes the girl…' he thought, then went to the gym.

He saw one person there he wasn't expecting. Sarah was in the gym, talking to a very skinny girl. Sarah noticed him and pointed him out the girl. She giggled.

He decided to ignore them and went to the teacher. He simply handed his schedule to the teacher. "He doesn't talk much," said Sarah. Then to Hiei she whispered, "You could have gotten in big trouble for not explaining…" She stopped at his cold expression. The class period went by pretty boringly.

(I'm too lazy to write out the rest of the day, so I'm going to skip right to lunch, 4th hour)

At the lunch table, everyone was talking. Kurama was sitting next to Kenny, Hiei was sitting next to Sarah, much to both of their discomfort, Amanda was sitting next to Korey, who was sitting at their table because Amanda was his guide, and Amber, Kassi, and Dee were talking to Yusuke and Kuwabara.

Sarah, finally not being able to sit next to the silent Koorime anymore got up and walked outside. "I wonder what's wrong with Sarah," Kurama asked.

Kenny silently motioned to Hiei and Kurama gave an understanding glance at the retreating girl's back. Hiei hadn't noticed because he had been staring at Sarah as she left. Kenny poked him to get his attention and whispered so that only the demons could hear. "She likes you, go follow her."

Hiei got up and followed the blonde to the tree she had decided to eat under. She was removing the cheese from her sandwich. Hiei watched her eat it before bothering to clear his throat. She looked up and noticed him. "What do you want?"

"Hn." Hiei didn't bother to answer the girl's rude tone of voice. She began to get up and walk away, but he grabbed her wrist.

She looked at him. "Let me go." He ignored her and pulled her closer to him. She started to protest, but was stopped by a pair of lips descending on her own. Just as he was about to slip his tongue into her mouth, they heard laughing and parted to stare at a hysterical Yusuke, Kuwabara, and the girls. Even Kurama was laughing.

Sarah, resembling a tomato, walked off as the bell signaling the end of lunch rang. Hiei followed at her side. They talked, and Hiei was amazed when Sarah asked him out on a date. He nodded. Sarah smiled and walked to her 5th hour class.

Kenny and Amanda were talking in 6th hour. "You'll never guess what happened," Amanda said.

"Ooh, what?" Kenny asked.

"A boy asked me out," she said, almost giggling.

"Oh, really? Who?"

"Korey, the new boy."

Kenny smiled. "I'm glad, he seems like a nice boy." The bell for class to start rang. (Again, too lazy to write out the rest of the day…)

KD: There, finished!

Kurama: Good for you!

Hiei: Hn.

Yusuke: Hey! Don't I get to have a girlfriend?

KD: You lech! You already have Keiko!

Kurama: She has a point Yusuke…

Yusuke: *Grumbles*

Hiei: Can we just get this overwith?

KD: Oh yeah, one more thing! *Attaches herself to Kurama* My bishie! No touchie!

Everyone else: *Sweatdrops*

KD: And another thing…This chapter was "inspired" by death threats (and other, worse threats) from Sarah, so you can thank her for getting it out! And I know you wanted your makeout scene with Hiei, but…I couldn't do it! Sorry!
