The knock echoed through the temple. Lisha went down the hall to get the door for her, no doubt, agitated friend. Slowly, she carefully opened the door. A McDonald's bag appeared in her face. “Here, now shut up and…put a smile on.” Lindsay said behind a yawn.
Lisha took the bag smiling. “Thank you. Why don't you come in and go back to sleep. You won't make it back home awake.” Lindsay growled something and brushed passed Lisha. “I guess that that's a yes.” She walked as bouncy as she could to the chair next to the couch that Lindsay had laid down on.
“I will never…call you again for a midnight craving.” She mumbled into the throw pillow. Lisha smiled again. As she was about to take a bite, she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. She dropped the food and but her hands over her stomach and groaned. Lindsay looked up. She jumped off the couch and went over to her friend. “Lisha? What's wrong?”
“I-I think, it's-ah!” she moved further down the bed. “Ge-Yu-…”
“Yu? Yukina?” Lisha nodded. Lindsay ran down the hall to Yukina's room. She pounded on the door.
Yukina poked her messy-haired head out. “Lindsay? May I ask what you're doing here at such a late hour?”
“Lisha-craving, now-in-labor.” She wheezed out. “Living room.”
Her eyes widened and the door flew open. The only thing she had on was a lacy black bra and matching boy shorts underwear. She ran down the hall to where Lisha was. A soft thunk met Lindsay's ears beside her. Yukina's mate stood leaning against the door, his long dark hair was just as messy as Yukina's had been, and his pants had the top button removed. “Care to explain yourself?”
“My friend is in labor and asked for Yukina. Any possible way that we can reach Kurama?”
“Sure, but we'll need Genkai's communicator.”
Lindsay smirked. “No problem.” She went to the kitchen and opened the supply drawer. Inside was the small round communicator that was used to contact spirit world. She opened it and found the button to call to Kurama.
His annoyed face made it's way on the screen. “Lisha, I told you not to-Lindsay?”
“Yeah, it's me. Listen, drop the taco hunt and get back to the temple, your girl's in labor. Stop and pick up Mark on the way.”
“Give me ten minuets.”
Lindsay closed the communicator and went back to the room that Lisha was in. Like Kurama had said, he was there in ten minuets with Mark and a sleeping Sukira in his arms.

The waves crash against the rocks over and over again.
Everyone holds their breath for the wave to recede,
They hold close as it reaches the highest
And slowly release as it dies down.
The biggest one jumps and rushes over the rocks
And crashes down hard
Cries are heard, from everyone there
And a new life is in the world.
Welcome Soryou.
--------------------
“Soryou?” Lindsay asked Kurama when he finally came out of the room.
“Lisha chose the name, because she wanted to have a name that could suit boy or girl.” Kurama said closing the door softly behind him.
“But `first child'?”
“What about Sukira?”
“You think that I'd name her Kirauna?”
“No, you-
“I wouldn't blame a child for my getting-” she pulled in a gulp of air, “raped.”
“Lindsay, it still hurts you doesn't it?” Lindsay nodded. “Have you tried any of the meditation that Mark does like Lisha recommended?” He was met with silence. Kurama heaved a sigh. “Start, it helps Lisha whenever she starts to get down and depressed, it should help you too.”
Lindsay nodded. “I've got to get home. Tell Lisha congratulations on her daughter for me.” She turned to leave.
“Lindsay,”
She stopped and turned around. “Yes?”
“I'll tell her about your new child as well.”
Her eyes widened. “Never try to hide anything from a youkai's sense of smell.” She smiled and ran down the hall to meet up with Mark.

Azriel leaned against the windowsill and sighed. Hiei glanced up to her from his sitting position against the wall. “Something wrong Yame?”
She shook her head. “I guess that it's just the woman in me. There's always a soft spot for babies in all our hearts. No female is truly heartless, especially when it comes to children.”
Hiei snorted. “I beg to differ. A large group of women were willing to kill me because of what I am when I was a babe.”
Azriel sat down next to Hiei and wrapped her arms around his waist. “But you survived. If they really wanted to kill you, they would have gone off the cloud and hunted you down to make sure that you were dead.”
“The koorime rarely leave the island. Only for the purpose of needing to reproduce, which is a very rare occurrence.”
“Hiei.” She mumbled and drifted to sleep on his shoulder.
