Kurama trudged up the stairs to his bedroom. Haru was gone in the matter of a day. She was gone for him. The paths of tears were gone, but he could feel more coming. A single drop fell as he opened the door slowly to the dim light and gasped.
"Stupid boy, you shouldn't be crying over me." Haru sat in the windowsill. Raising her head slowly, she opened her jade eyes and smiled, the same tear paths running down her cheeks. "At least not tonight." She hopped down and waked over to stand only inches from him. "Because I only have this one night to be with you."
"But you're....you can't...." Kurama tried to find the words that would fit, but none came.
Haru laughed lightly, hint of sadness still present in her voice. "I have my ways, kitsune. I have my ways."
There was a long pause.
"I'm sorry." Haru said finally.
"Nani?"
"I'm sorry, Kurama. You know, it's that thing you feel when you know you screwed up really bad. Well, there's a little guilt mixed in with that definition."
He laughed.
She backed off and looked at him with a playful smile. "See? I'm Spring itself. I can brighten anyone's mood. Even yours right now."
"And what about yourself?"
"Nope, I just spead joy and love and stuff like that."
"That doesn't mean that you can't enjoy yourself."
She shook her head. "No. People just don't care anymore. Everything outside, I made it from scratch, and does anyone offer a thanks? No, they all think the seasons just happen on their own!" She said sarcasticly.
"I can think of a lot more to thank you for." He pushed her on her back on the bed and smiled.
She sighed, another sarcastic gesture. "Dare I even ask?"
"I don't know. You might want to know."
"Wipe that smirk off your face, Kurama. Besides," She paused to grab his shirt collar and pull him down beside her. Then, she pushed him onto his back and stradled his hips. "Who ever said you could be on top?"
Kurama roled them both over until Haru was in his previous posistion. "I did."
"But why do *you* get to make the decison?"
Kurama shrugged.
"So, you don't enjoy being pinned by me. Well, that clears up that question." That's when she remembered that this wouldn't last.

Yeah, yeah. I know it's short but I'm almost done with the next two chapters, and they're pretty long. About 13 or 14kbs in a Notepad file. So, be ready for any update probably tomorrow.
