I love this story. I too can relate. While most of my teasing was in elementary school I've always been bigger and weighed more then others. I thank you for being different, and writing something like this. It's a beautiful story with a beautiful meaning behind it.

I can totally relate to this story because I'm a little overweight myself. I feel so bad for her and I'm glad that you made her overweight too because it's different and so real. Update soon! Peace!

Wow...Inuyasha was not nice... Man, getting turned down sucks. Especially when it takes a lot of courage to do it, and to have the guy say no to your face, and having his friends laughing at you...yea, not a pleasant experience. Besides, i think you only count as fat if you have to go to the pregnancy store or something. Besides, I know penty of people who arent thin but are still beautiful.

this is really different from your other stories. this is the most origianal alternate universe Inuyasha story I have ever read. wow you have such talent with writing emotions. I felt a tug at my heart while reading this. you make it able for others to feel kagome's pain. I want to know...is this really how big girls are treated at your school or city? Because if it is....wow im actually crying thinking about it. It hurts me so much to see bullying, any kind. im not overweight but one of my best friends is and she is so beautiful, she is very unique and creative and very popular as well. im glad i dont have to see it much. How can kids be so cruel to each other? horrible doesnt even begin to describe this kind of pain. okay im leaving this review here while I go and get a tissue. I dont want to start bawling at the computer or my parent will freak. excellent writing, im very moved. update really soon okay? now to find a tissue...

DO NOT STOP WRITING. What you're doing is really important. You're bringing awareness of the feelings of larger girls/women. It's disgusting how polluted our minds are with the obsession of being thin. It's truly detrimental because it stops us from getting to know some really great people. In my most recent fic (it's a darker story) Inu mates with an african-american woman in the first chap. I'm about breaking barriers & stupid stereotypes. Stereotypes for the sake of a story is fine, but truly believeing in them (like racism, age, body image etc)...makes a person weak and pathetic. Bravo & i will definitely be reading this one.

I completely agree with you on the view of thinness in our society. I know that with my body structure I cannot get thin without risking medical problems. I have a friend who is bigger than I am and she is gorgeous. Also, people in public schools tend to mean. Kids can be very nasty, in general. I wonder if Kagome will see Inuyasha at the beach...

i love ur story, i really connect with ur story. thought i dont think i could ever imagine kags fat or even slightly chubby... i dont want to, i sappose its just socitys effect on my mind. someone (real or not)who i have always thought was beautifu will forever be skinny in my mind. i like that u incorperated the whole "cutting" thing. cause few people realise that that is a common acurance (sp?) in people who r over weight. myself included. i really do like ur story and i hope u update soon. though i wanted to point something out to u, if u where trying to make this realistic, then inu wouldnt date her... its sad but true. he wouldnt date kikyo i dont think, but he wouldnt date her. no matter how beautiful she is on the inside. he might be her friend probably her best friend after a while, but not her boyfriend. humanity is cruel, and socity is fickel, but it will never change...

WOW this fic is definantly unique and though i myself am not over weight my closet friend is and some of my ither friends so i can sort of relate to what Kag is feeling i have to admit you got my eye tearing in the third chap.
