Just finished chapter seven. Nice. Lots of stuff going on. I'm glad Kagome confronted hiei about his intentions, especially in light of his teasing comments, but I can't believe she just accepted it. A courtship period until he sees if she survives the birth? WTF? LOL!! I wouldn't think she particularly WANTED him to be planning on making her his mate at this point, and making it conditional on her SURVIVAL? That's not the kind of relationship Kagome would want. I could see her agreeing to the courtship to see if they were compatible outside of the bedroom. (Obviously they're compatible THERE. LOL!!) And Inuyasha sure did accept it awfully easily. That definitely makes his feelings for her seem shallow. Hmmm. And yet if she survives, but the baby doesn't, then everything's up in the air? Niiiiicce. (Yes, that was heavy with sarcasm.) Now, we all know that 9 months should be more than enough time for the two of them to fall in love, but, THEY don't know that. LOL!! And, if the dragon is the real problem, not the baby, then Inuyasha is out of the picture no matter what, right? Along with every other male on the planet. So, unless the baby survives, she's going to end up alone. SO unfair!! And I take it there is a darker, hidden motive behind what the dragon did when it bonded with her, that is going to play a role in this later. Way to keep me on the edge of my seat. Interesting that Sango is going to send Kirara with her. Won't she miss her faithful companion in battle since she usually flies around and attacks from the air a lot? HAS Inuyasha given up? You know, they can send him to her time for some supplies. I'd have him send her Mom to get "What to Expect When You're Expecting." That'll give her something to read while she's in "isolation." LOL!! This is just so good! Hope we've got some more Hiei/Kag steaminess coming up. She's already pregnant, she's already given Inu the heave-ho, so why not? LOL!!

Shoot! Forgot to comment on the way you've brought up Kurama's plans for Shizuru. And if the Reikai is so against the conception of hanyous, then what about Yusuke and Keiko? It seems to me that this really is a situation they were all going to have to face eventually.

Chapter four was chock-full of interesting details. So, Koenma fully expected Hiei to deflower the miko. I can't believe Yusuke didn't yell at him for that. I don't think Hiei would be too happy to find that out, either, even if the whole situation with the dragon had not occured. AND Koenma seemed to know and understand what it meant for the dragon to chhose her to bond with. Another interesting tidbit. And Kurama wants to tell Hiei that things may go easier for them as long as he doesn't mate with her. That will definitely make his decision to do so, (when he does, of course, -- at least I've gotta hope!), very significant and meaningful. I really can't wait to find out if she's pregnant or not. And you are keeping me from working on my story's next chapter, you know. But, I'm not complaining! LOL!!

Up to the revised chapter three now. How very interesting that he stopped at Mukuro's BEFORE trying the well. Seems that the longer they stay in the Makai, the more time Koenma or Enma have to start sending people after them. And I am kind of wondering why gpomg to the past would only be a temoporary solution -- couldn't it last 500 years? LOL!! And he has picked up on her thoughts about inuyasha and her friendss, but we haven't seen what his thoughts are about her having a relationship with another male. Hmmm. I can't wait to see how THAT goes. So, if she's pregnant, he is planning to make her his mate for sure. And if she isn't, he's still thinking about it. What could be better? I can't wait to see how their relationship evolves. Already he has pledged his protection and feels possessive. And she already trusts him and feels secure with him. Yep. It's a destined relationship. And I love it!

Chapter two is excellent! I love the way the whole team tried to work out what to do about the possible situation. And Hiei is already considering taking her as his mate -- gotta love that! Your explanation of her mind's defenses being weak because of Tsubaki were brilliant, and the way he was able to help her was a nice touch. Yes, they may have come together out of passion and heat and pheromones, but the dragon immediately recognized her as the one for his Master, and their reactions to each other indicate their yin and yang were destined to meet. I loved the detail about Hiei's sense of smell not being good enough because he's elemental, not animal -- I've always thought that should be the case myself. And I loved the insight into Kuwabara and Yukina's relationship. I think it's great that they've mamaged to keep it under wraps just how close they've become. This is just TOO good, and I can't wait to read the other chapters up to the new one!!!

Yowza!! Fabulous revision on this first chapter! I loved it the first time, and I love it just as much, maybe more now. You definitely gave the whole encounter a different feel simply by adding that pheromone he was giving off as part of his cycle. It made Kagome a much more willing and active participant. I believe you played up his thoughts more, too, didn't you? And just the one statement, that one night wasn't going to be enough, really set the stage for lots more goodness!! You know, I think I only ever saw the one-shot before, so all the rest of this is going to be new for me, and I can't wait!!! Is it my birthday? I feel like it is!! Thanks so much for working on this one -- it's going to be a real treat for me for the next little while as I sit and read. Yay!!

I seriously hope you finish this story. I can't wait to see how the inevitable show down with Enma turns out. It's a rare pleasure to find a fan fiction capable of drawing in a reader like this story does.

Im surprised their so in their rolls it's unbelievable!!!! I love Hiei's dragon it's so cute (some people question my insanity on that fact) I really wana read Hiei in action I WANA READ SOME ASS KICKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....and ya....................................................
