this was a great story! although i'm glad i found it after it was completed and didnt have to wait to find out what happened. it took me a day or two to finish it, but it was worth staying up until 6am to read.

Wow It's hard to think that it's over. I've been following and reviewing this story for god what 2 3 years. Not to mention all your other works. I'm so excited and sad at the sametime it's like saying goodbye to an old friend. I would get so excited when you update and I really enjoyed your e-mails. And just getting to know you. Watching how your writing just change into something else. It's like not even the same author wrote the begainning chapters at all. I have never seen that and it was a treat in doing so. In the prossess I got my boyfriend and kids into it. I had to give the edit version casue well they are only 12 but thats ok. Mating season just took off biy I tell you. lol look at me this almost sound like a goodbye letter or something. I really enjoyed that last chapter a great deal just wanting to know how time treated them and the reunion with kagome family was wonderful. on man and all the charactor added I don't think I could have kept them together like you did. thanks for the family tree oh and the best Fighting scenes and lemon between Shippo and Rin I don't think I will be reading anybody else anytime soon. and for explaining in one of the chapters of why Sesshomaru has posion. I think I'm going to end this before it gets too goveling, But I can't wait for your Updates in the future. I'll be talking to ya ok. Shivonne

Just want to say good job great ending. I started reading your story when you first posted since then I have been keeping tabs on the story. Don't get me wrong it was really good however when you started adding children a relatives wich are obviosly to be expected in a 500 year old finite relationship I backed away from the story a bit. Also after two years time I sort of strayed away from the IY fandom and went to Naruto. IY was interresting at first but come on they need to close the story some time. Anyway great story and even though I strayed away from IY your story was so good I had to read the ending. Thanks for the story pgadoury@tds.net

Wow. I can't belive you actually made it to the 100th chapter. I thought maybe we lost for a bit there because you took so long, but here we are! You did a great job with the story and made the chapters nice and long which is very fulfilling for readers. I am so happy that you made a family tree. I was getting lost a lot with all of the different names of offspring and such. I could only remember a couple. It helps so much now that you made that. Thanks! In regards to the spin offs that you may be writing; I would love to see more Kenta and Aki, but I know they've had a lot of story time. I just thoroughly enjoyed that side story so much. Kenta's charcter is just so AWESOME. You probably won't do it, but that's okay. Anyways, great job and I look forward to future stories. :)

P.S. Nice effort on the family tree. I cant even remember all the characters in the reunion let alone most of the ones in the story.

Hey. It's me again. The people here were buging me about writing a review for ya so thought i'ld finally get off my ass and do it. So...it's finally over. Wow. I loved it personally and so has everyone else. I have gone threw 4 printers just to get one copy of this entire story, i have it bound, laminated, and have had a cover put on it for those here who want to read it but cant get internet. I have gotten outstanding reviews from everyone here and all that could read your other stories and loved em. They named a few tites but i'm writing this at half past midnight and i'm srry to say i've 4gotton them. you are among the best authors i have read from and i loved this story. thank u for taking your time to write this. Tell next time i review.

I stumbled across this story shortly after it was first posted back in 2006. At the time, I honestly thought that it wouldn't go half this far, or be half as good as it is. I am happy to say that my opinion at the time has been proven completely wrong. This story has been a faithful companion throughout these past years, and it is one of the best stories that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The story you have created here, is equal to few stories (in my opinion). Many stories never get past the first few chapters, with authors either not having the willingness to complete the work required, or the imagination to continue on. You have succeeded in that. And in doing so, your story has joined only one other story in my personal archives (The other being 'The Lucky Ones' by Terri Botta). Until the day I die, this story will be one that I will continue to read again and again. On a final note, I would like to thank you for all the time and effort that you have put into this story. Congratulations on finishing this behemoth (and I mean that in a good way). It was a great read. I remember when I first found this story I was amazed at the length then. Twenty chapters later I am even more amazed. You showed great skill in keeping everyone straight especially keeping who was descended from whom at to what degree. As far as I can tell or remember you didn't forget a character or lose one in the middle. Hats off for the great effort and achievement. I can definitely understand the need you have for taking a break from long stories. I am looking forward to whatever comes next from you.

Although I'm sad to see this, one of my favorite stories come to an end, I know you will not pass up the opportunity to make a sequel. I must admit you and WolfBloosm have become my writing idles, for you are one of the two authors I followed since I created an account here the first time as Diamondpink, unfortunately that account was deleted, but that's beside the point. Congrats on a job well done on this story. And knowing you, you'll make another kick ass story like this. I wish you all the best. P.S. I was wondering, if its not too much to ask if you would checkout my stories and see if any of them have the potential of being as great as yours. If you do I must warn you they aren't Inu/Kag but Sessh/Kag (ALL MY INU/KAG STORIES SUCK ON ICE, so I stopped writing them.) Domo and good luck on others!

Absolutly amazing story. I read this quite a while ago and only managed to get up to chapter 80. I found this one again while bored last week and started re-reading. Absolute perfect timing that the last chapter came up when it did. This is one of the first and only that i have ever read that had a history and what a history. Amazing fic. I tip my hat to you.
