I too am turned off when writers beg for reviews. I guess it's hard to understand when you are not an author but I would think you write because of a love and talent of it and I don't like that (and you are not the only one) when authors put a set amount and threaten the readers. Reviews should be genuine and not forced.

Well I like your stories but I am taken aback that you won't post a chapter unless you get a certain number of reviews!!! I don't understand why you and other writers want so may reviews before you post a chapter. I read a lot of fan fiction but I don't usually post a review cause lack of time. Reviews are a courtesy and shouldn't be a requirement to post chapters! Please don't limit your beautiful writing just because you don't get reviews. Very unnecessary to do that since you write very well. thank you, J
